Rude and Unprofessional

ARNING! DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. VERY RUDE AND VERY DISRESPECTFUL! Jody from Shipyourcarnow called my phone and called me a liar. He originally quoted me 1950 to move my RV and wanted me to pay upfront. I was tight on funds didn't have the money until a future date and I explained that so I told him I wanted to wait to make a decision. He was fine with that. I also got quotes from PullupandGo LLC (highly recommended!!!!) on UShip for $1000 and he had awesome reviews. So logically I went with the more economical choice. Jody from Shipyourcarnow calls me back the day after my original pick up date and I told him I had chose another company and he proceeds to SCREAM AT ME AND ACCUSE ME OF LYING! First off, what kind of business owner calls a potential future customer and screams at them and accuses them of lying just because he didn't get your business. You don't even know me to be speaking to me in such a manner. Grow up Jody... VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.

Update to response:

Jody didn't "express disappointment". He began yelling and called me a liar. We never booked anything. He gave me a quote and sent me a letter with the information. After reading the fine print, I felt uncomfortable proceeding with my current financial state. He was completely unprofessional. Why would you call me a liar, even if you felt I was wrong. We could have just ended the conversation there. There was no need for name calling. It was a childish, inappropriate, unprofessional response.

His exact words were, "SO YOU'RE A LIAR." I don't know what part of that isn't considered disrespectful or unprofessional. If calling a customer a "liar" isn't considered unprofessional, your company needs to revamp their ethics standards. I at no point "lied". Just because I chose another company that would better suit my financial situation does not constitute me a "liar" and that does not give Jody a reason to call me a liar either. He felt comfortable speaking to me that way because he was on the phone. He would have chosen his words more carefully had we spoken in person. Jody is a little boy and a phone bully. I am a TRAINED veteran. I was in no way obligated to reach back out to him after a quote. I am experiencing serious health issues and trying to get my items moved while I get my treatments here. For him to react the way he did shows a high level of immaturity and no sense of self control.

Long-distance move from Santa Maria, CA to Denver, CO

1996 Honda GL1500 SE Trike.

Hi I just bought a 1996 GL1500 Honda Trike (Motorcycle). I needed to find a transport company. The first one I chose did not work out. I got different stories about when my pickup would occur which it never did. I worked over a week with this company and got now where. The person I bought the bike from was really patient with the situation, on the other hand I was not.

I asked the company if the could get me a pickup within the next 24 hours, what can I say after a week, one more day would not hurt, they could not guarantee it.

I had to call another transports company and start all over again, however to my surprise I talked to Kimberly what a difference another transporter makes. Kimberly was very professional and had the contract done in about 15 minutes, just like she stated, wow, I may be on to something. She asked when I would like it picked up I explained to her that I was leaving town on May 25.
I had already burned over a week with the other company.

I asked her what the deposit was she said no charge. She told me after they secure a driver the whole amount would be due. Hmmm do you pay the driver right away, she said we hold the money until you receive your bike and sign off. the contract happened on Wednesday night the pickup was on Friday and I had my bike on Sunday. Now that is service!!

I also spoke with step, who gave me some options like you may want to use a hotshot that is exactly what I did. It cost a little more money but it was worth it. I just want to thank the whole crew at ship your car now, all are very courtesy and professional.

Long-distance move from Massachusetts to California

Horrible communication/never again.

What a nightmare working with CFR Auto Direct!! Took 19 days to get my car from Boston, 7 days past the arrival date promised. The atrocious miscommunication started after contacting Wayne Friedman--a broker from shipyour carnow.com. I was first given a price of $950 to ship my car from Boston to So. Cal from WF. Then he notified me that it'd be $100 more because he thought the car was being picked up in Brooklyn not Boston. He said he'd misread the detailed email I'd sent him. We set a pick up date for either Friday or Saturday before Memorial Day weekend. By Friday I hadn't heard from anyone so I called and was told they didn't pick up on the weekend in Boston as it was CFR'S protocol, instead it'd be picked up on Tuesday after Memorial Day. What? No one told me that (including WF) and it's not what the contract stated. Then the following day, unexpectedly, TWO different drivers called at different times saying they were on the way to pick up the car. Neither knew of one another. I called dispatch and they were confused but said they'd call and cancel driver #2. The first driver picked up the car and left. Driver #2 called again saying he'd arrived. I told him what had happened and he said dispatch had never called him! I called on the day the car was to arrive since I hadn't heard anything and was told it'd be 7 days late! Even though the car had been picked up on Saturday, it wasn't delivered to the train terminal until 4 days later. I blew my stack, I was so frustrated with their lack of communication between dispatch, Wayne Friedman, the truck drivers and me. I complained to WF about these problems and he kept reassuring me that they were the best in the country and the rest of the shipment would go smoothly. I insisted on a $200 discount and CFR would only agree to $100. So when my car was about to arrive in CA I called CFR (please note I was the one who constantly had to call them) stating my car was scheduled to arrive the following day and I would like to be given an estimated time so I could be home. I was told the car would be delivered the following day around 1 pm. Literally 20 minutes later, a truck driver called and said he'd be at my house in 1 hour for the delivery of my car!! What?? He knew nothing about delivery being scheduled for the following day nor ANYTHING ABOUT THE DISCOUNT promised. I told him to call his dispatch before he showed up. So the car was delivered and the $100 discount was given. Unbelievable!! And this is the best company in the country Wayne Friedman?? The $100 discount didn't even come close to compensating me for all of their miscommunication, not to mention all the alternative plans we had to come up with to carry out our daily work responsibilities. I would never do business with them again!!

Long-distance move from Florida to Illinois

Shipyourcarnow.com.

I utilized Ship Your Car Now to transport a vehicle I purchased in Florida to my home in the Chicago area. The company did a great job and in fact the vehicle arrived several days earlier than expected. They even delivered on a Sunday. The representative, Sean, was excellent and the driver, Victor, was outstanding and nice person. Would definitely recommend this company.

Long-distance move from Florida to California

Excellent Customer Service!

We highly recommend working with Ship Your Car Now; and more specifically, with Mark Frater (954.271.0281). We are in San Diego and we're crazy enough to purchase a car from Florida. I reached out to another company on a Saturday, asking them if they can get our new car picked up on the following Saturday (a week later). That company did not provide updates; I had to constantly contact them for an update. By the time the following Saturday rolled around, they still hadn't secured a transporter. Enter Mark Frater from SYCN. My husband requested a quote that Saturday night, and we signed a contract that Sunday, with pick up scheduled for Wednesday. Our car was scheduled for drop off a week later BUT the transporter is a rockstar driver because he got our car to us, in great condition, by Monday!

I hope to never have to transport a car across the country again, let alone a new car. But if we ever have to, we will not hesitate to work with Mark. He was on top of it from beginning to end. He was on the phone with us on a Sunday night at 10pm. We requested pictures of the transport and he got them. The first company I worked with told us about the bid system, and I was trusting that they were getting it done; but a week later and still no transporter booked? We learned from Mark what true service is about when it comes to vehicle transport - he got it done quick, and car was delivered two days ahead of schedule!

I hope this review helped! Best of luck!

Long-distance move from Charlotte, NC to San Antonio, TX

Larry.

We called and talked to several companies about moving my 66 Chevelle. I am sure there are others out there that do a great job also. The purpose of this review is to recognize not only the company but the mover. Shawn Lent was friendly, knowledgeable of my car and easy to work with. My car was in the shop with some engine work being completed. We had to alter our pick up date two times. He never got upset instead he said lets move the pick up date and re-schedule. He was on a long weekend in the middle of this move and he still reached out to us. We paid for the move up front on our credit card. No penalties for the change or additional charges. I would recommend him and his sources for any vehicle move.

The carrier he scheduled is Joel Clark of J/W Auto Inc. This man was so caring about my vehicle. You would have thought the car was his. He kept me advised of his movements and estimated arrival. He actually arrived early, called and ask if I could except the car and if not he would hold it until the next morning. Great Company.

Cons galore.

Took a deposit to move my car the. Raised the price the. Never showed was told they needed a few more days and would not refund the money unless the car was stolen or owner dead. Moved out of state and could not wait. Continued to raise prices and threaten the customer. Already reported them to the bank for potential fraud. Charged for services not rendered and will not refund money. $$update$$. Received two phone calls from Dwayne who has asked me to take this down. If I do I will get a refund in two days. If Dwayne said it would take as long as need be. Talk about cohertion. Stated I would update it to state I received a refund if I got one. Dwayne stated the whole thing must come down or I am liable for deformation even though the rate was raised. Check this out

John,

As per our conversation, you informed me that when you are refunded you will be taking your negative posts down from all the sites you have contacted (Transport Reviews, BBB etc.) Please confirm that you will be doing this.

Ship Your Car Now

The company can state whatever they want but this email is CYOA and an attempt to silence an unhappy customer. NEVER do business with them unless you want a headache or hasten. Here is another one@@

We can cancel your order, but we do not issue refunds in this department. If you would like to request a refund please send a certified, notarized letter via postal mail, Fedex, or UPS. Please send the request to 2200 N. Federal Highway Suite 206, Boca Raton, FL 33431 and address it to the Accounting Department. Please include your full name, order ID, vehicle, transport route, and also include any documentation for the reason of canceling e.g. vehicle was stolen (police report)..owner of the vehicle passed away (death certificate).
So they didn't provide a truck and I have to go through this haste for a refund. I mean come on a death certificate.

Long-distance move from California to New York

Not recommend.

The car was picked up 3/17/2014, the estimated time of delivery was 3/27/2014 and the actual delivery date was 3/30/2014. The week before the car was delivered I called and left several messages to the driver and ShipYourCarNow to get an update to where my car was at and no one ever called me back. It wasn't until 3/29/2014 (2 days after estimated delivery date) that I was able to get some sort of estimate time on delivery. Both the driver and ShipYourCarNow told me that it would be delivered the same day of the call (3/29/2014). The car didn't arrive until 3/30/2014 , 20 hours after I received a verbal confirmation that it was going to be delivered on 3/29/2014.
I don't know what's going on with them, but you would think that ShipYourCarNow would know when the driver would be in the vicinity of the drop off location. To give such erroneous delivery dates ( 3 days late) , not return any phone calls ( 10 calls to ShipYourCarNow and the driver), to say the car will be dropped off the evening of 3/29/2014 and to have it actually arrive the evening of 3/30/2014 after a verbal confirmation with the driver that same day, and not give any reason or update on why the delivery is late is unacceptable.
I would never recommend ShipYourCarNow to anyone.
If I could give them a zero I would.

Do not do business with this company: if you must, avoid ERIC.

It seems like these reviews vary widely based on what salesperson one is dealing with.DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH ERIC!He will mislead you and not follow through with the understanding that was created in preliminary conversations.Once I decided to not do business with this company the managers and customer service reps were very helpful in getting me a refund and cutting of business. That said, after I thought all ties were cut ERIC has the nerve to call me back and tell me he has a truck all ready to go AFTER I had explicitly told him I was not working with him.He verbally abused me on the phone and at the finale of our conversation THANKED ME FOR PAYING HIM EVEN THOUGH HE DIDN'T HAVE TO SHIP MY CAR. Again, this was after I spoke with managers and the accounting department to confirm no charges would be sent through. One of the most unprofessional experiences I have ever had with a salesperson. Ended up getting in a yelling match with him when the problem should have just been resolved. If you do wish to use this company, DO NOT DEAL WITH ERIC! Even when our relationship was slightly amicable he made religious comments that made me feel very uncomfortable to begin with. Should have been a red flag. Again, avoid this company and if you do ship with them, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH ERIC!

RUDE and HORRIBLE customer service!

I had asked for quotes from many places. They did not provide me a number for a quote by email, so I emailed them back with my "price range" asking if they could quote me around that ballpark figure. The guy who emailed me back (Sean Lent) was extremely rude and told me "Maybe next time you can be more realistic on what a car costs to be moved". Obviously this company is not interested in new customers since I would NEVER do business with a company after being talked to like that. Completely uncalled for.

The Best of The Rest!--shipyourcarnow.com.

Thank you, shipyourcarnow.com, especially Carlos, the man who saved the day for us. We were left high and dry with these other so called auto shipper scam artists, and at the last minute, Carlos was able to make happen, what the other companies had over a month to prepare for. Ours was a Las Vegas to New York trip, for 2 cars, but all was done with one simple phone call. We will definitely tell everyone about your great company, but unfortunately we don't know any other people moving from coast to coast (haha). Once again thank you for keeping your word, it's good to see there are still some honest people in your line of work!!

Deposit stollen.

After we get agree on the shipping for $800 with Steve (nice Guy), the carrier cancel the shipping with out me being notified neither from the carrier or the broker (Ship your car now).

Car was inoperable and I state that in the very beginning.
Unfortunately I was not aware when I sign "electronically" the "Right of Signature", that was a sort of contract with them..and state that the car was in working order.

After Steve offers me to do the service for $950 this time.. and I was agree.
But took them for ever to find a carrier..they never did actually, so I decide to go with an other broker because I was in a hurry to ship the car due some storage charges. So I asked for a refund on my $150 deposit..

Then I talked with Ryan..WHAT A PIECE!!

WITH ABSOLUTELY LACK OF RESPECT (witch I reply of course-I’m the costumer), TREAT ME LIKE [EDIT], AND HAD THE NERVE TO TOLD ME THAT WAS MY FAULT FOR SIGNING A PAPER WITH A WRONG STATEMENT.

$150 was the deposit..NOW STOLEN FOR THIS..
The good part: It took me just $150 to know about their “5 START SERVICE”
All my friends and business acquaintances now know about their “5 START SERVICE”, too (they get it for free though) LOL.

Long-distance move from New York to Pennsylvania

Completed delivery, but not glitch free.

Had a short timeline for my son's car to be transported, after another company did not come through with a carrier.  This was not the cheapest price at 375.00 but was right in the middle.  My confirmation stated that my son's car would be picked up the next day before noon in NY with a same day delivery to our mechanic in PA.  I was appreciative of the quick turnaround.  Our son was working and so was paying his garage attendant to hand over the keys. Noon came and went. At 1:30 I phoned Nick and was given the name of our transport driver and his phone number.  Greischa (the driver) said he'd get the car within the next hour and a half.  Four hours later, still no pick up.  My son called Greischa, who told him he was three block away--still no pick up.  I phoned Nick who checked with Griescha--still three blocks away after half an hour.  A full hour later the car was finally picked up.  We were never notified of a new delivery time or date.  I was supposed to meet Greischa at the Repair garage, but that would have been 11pm or so.  I finally got in touch with him the next morning around 9 am, and he told me he was an hour away.  I had to leave the cash payment with the repair garage, as I couldn't wait another hour.  The bottom line--the car was transported, but not when promised. We had to stay on our toes, eat many Rolaids, and be flexible in order to make it work.

Awesome Car Shipper.

Isaac and Ryan were there for any needs or questions I had. Everything went exaqctly like Isaac told me it would and they made sure I was never in the dark. I was worried that things would go like some of the horror stories I've heard about having someone ship your car, but I'm glad that I found ship your car now. There was almost no wait (2 days) from the day I filled out the quote form to when my car was picked up.

Lies to Get Your Money.

I was shipping my car from Louisiana to Virginia. I was told my Patrick at Ship Your Car Now that my car would be picked up for sure on Tuesday and guaranteed delivery on Friday. I said ok and booked the move. When the time came, I could never get a hold of Patrick or the truck transport company. The driver showed up late on Wednesday and delivered the car late on Sunday. Patrick said he would call the driver and let me know exact times and I never heard from him again. This is a horrible company, do not ship your car with them. They claim they're the best and the most honest and they are not. They just want to book your car and then you can take care of the delays. They will never call you back, I called asking for a discount due to the delays and incurred and expenses and I never heard from the company again. Because of all my delays, I incurred extra expenses that I was not planning for and being carless was a HUGE expense.

Good experience.

We had a good experience with Ship your Car Now. Jody, our salesperson was awesome. He was easy to get in touch with and he was very responsive. He was honest throughout the whole process. He made it clear that they were a broker and did not actually transport the cars. The driver who did transport our cars was a little more difficult; he was hard to reach at times. They did pick up our cars on time, but they were late being delivered by a day. I wasn't super worried about it though because Jody was available the entire time. We feel like we'd definitely use them again.

Overcharged to Seattle.

We hired Ship Your Car Now, LLC to move our car back and forth to Seattle for a long west coast trip. They charged the amount quoted over the phone for roundtrip and when we called to schedule the pickup to send the car back they claimed it was only oneway charge.

Not recommending.

At first, they showed cooperative behavior to ship my car. Before picking up my car they deducted the whole amount of shipment from my credit card. The driver came 2 days late and I have to call him to know when he is able to pick up my car. From the beginning, I told them my car is old and if I want to have some goods in dicky and back seat of my car is it ok. They said it is ok but the driver actually confronted my friend for who handed him the car for the extra money (i was not in the address of pick up as the driver came late). After that the next morning when I called them, they didn't explain me the but sent me another voucher for the extra amount. I was traveling that time so the next time I got the agent, he was just behaved like annoyed and told me that people transport their old car to steal new car transported with it (?? what's my connection with it). I will never transport my car with them.

Car transport

Contacted SYCN to haul my car from Marysville, Wa to Spokane, Wa. Guy was over 5 hrs late getting car. Said he'd deliver noon next day. Noon goes by, no car. Call guy, he's in Bonners Ferry, Id. 4 hrs later, my car finally makes it here. Leave review on company. Get message to call them, it's their call center number, no one knows what's going on other than contract completed. Add all this to the original bad review. Now WEEKS later get email asking me to call them. Call them, go through the whole thing all over with them. And the lady asked me to changed my review to a more favorable one and they would send me a $25. Gift card to go out and have coffee on them. Seriously?? How about 1/2 of my money back for the 6 hour drive that took an EXTRA 9 hours to complete!!!! Will never use them again, and will NOT recommend them to anyone!!
