Montway Auto Transport

I've never shipped a car before, but we needed to this time because we had a 6-month that couldn't make the drive. I found Montway on UShip, but then looked on their website separately (and saved a lot of money, too!).  Setting up the order was easy - I called with about a week's notice (because the UShip quotes were for pickup in 5-10 days). I paid about a third via credit card on the website, and the rest to the driver in cash (should have been on delivery, but we weren't sure we'd be there before he arrived, so we gave it to him on pickup - which the driver noted on our bill of lading). My impression of the whole transaction is that Montway was a broker, because my shipment was handled by BTV Express, Inc. I asked for pickup in WA on a Saturday, was contacted by Montway around mid-week, and was called by the trucker on Friday. He gave me the option of loading the car Friday night or Saturday morning - we chose Friday night and met at a Home Depot so he could have room to load it. He called when he arrived there, I met him, we did a bill of lading, and then he was off. I had a targeted drop-off date of Wednesday because I was driving a moving truck and didn't anticipate getting there any sooner - in fact, there was concerns the car would get there before we did and without anyone to pick it up. The driver called me on Tuesday, saying he anticipated on being there around noon Wednesday..before we would get there. (The only thing that didn't happen is that he said he would call when he dropped my car off and didn't. But I called him later that day to confirm it was dropped off and it was). I gave him instructions to leave it in the parking lot of the Home Depot we were returning the rental truck to with the doors locked and the key in the console and found it just like that. The mileage looked appropriate, and the only thing I noticed that was different was that one of my cds was in my cupholders and not in the visor sleeve it was kept in - very possible it just fell out during transport. No glaring scratches, dents, or anything else, and his drop-off checklist was tucked in . I haven't fully unpacked the car yet, so I can't be 100% sure everything is right, but I don't have any reason to believe something is wrong. Our driver was on time, had good communication, and was very flexible/accommodating to our situation. I would definitely do this again.  .

Montway took on a tough job to move a modified Jeep from Tulsa to the Northeast.  The first driver assigned could not accomodate the vehicle because they misjudged the size.  It took just a few days to find a second driver who handled the load perfectly.  Montway kept us informed at each step.                                                                                          x                                                                                                           x.

Car was delivered as promised.It did take Montway a few days longer than the 5 business days they quoted but they did keep me informed on a regular basis and notified me immediately when they had a transport driver arranged.Transport driver was in constant communication with pick up and delivery. Only complaint was the original fee was increased by $150.00. Montway stated the transport driver requested this because my destination was not on his regular route. I doubt that but paid it anyway. .

I ordered an auto delivery for a vehicle I purchased in Utah. It was shipped to Georgia. Montway was professional in every way. They kept me informed and answered all my questions in a timely manner. The driver assigned to my vehicle shipment contacted me one day before delivery and was at the delivery point within an hour of the quoted delivery time. (The driver's estimated delivery time was quite good because he had to navigate metro Atlanta traffic during morning rush hour) Overall, I would use Montway again. The ease, price, and service was very good. .

I was very pleased that the carrier was single-level and appeared very secure.  The driver was professional and had much experience driving the anticipated route on a busy California interstate.  Where this company, Montway-LG Motorsports, deserves high praise was in the delivery.  I had to change the date by several days and requested a specific time of day.  Astonishingly, they came through!  Will always use Montway-LG Motorsports for all my auto transport business.

I recently moved from TX to CA. Three (3) weeks in advance I called budget transport auto movers and was told they would have my car picked up. The day before they told me they did not have a transport and I needed to pay more money. I called Montway and they had as good of a price, no messing around and very courteous (unlike the other company), and the pick up was the next day!! My car arrived earlier than the other company quoted me and it was in the same condition it left in. DONT USE ANYONE ELSE!! Highly recommend!!

Fantastic transport of my 2013 gran turismo sport across country. No problems at all. The driver was super!! He even covered the car inside his enclosed trailer. I flew ahead of him and when I arrived he had me up to date on everything. I am happy that my car came in mint condition. The trailer was clean. The driver was a great guy. I have no complaints. Thanks to the montway folks for sending tho specific truck to assist me. I don't move much but will use them again.

First time auto shipper!  Great value for an enclosed transport and great, timely communication from Montway and the driver!  Picked up and delivered as requested, damage free!  Well Done to both Montway and driver!  Thank you!  Would highly recommend Montway for consideration by others!  Driver contacted owner at pick up location with 24 hour advance notice and arrived as promised.  Similarly, driver in contact with me 24 hours in advance of delivery..and arrived on time.

We had contracted with another autoshipper three weeks in advance of our move to have two of our cars shipped from MN to CA. We arranged pick up for about a week before we were flying ourselves. The other shipper never picked up our cars. I called Montway and explained the situation. Less than 24 hours after I called, their shipper was out in front of my house picking up our cars. The cars stayed with a single truck for the duration of the trip and were delivered in perfect condition EARLIER than projected! Montway is a very dependable and professional company. I'd use them to ship cars again.

Montway did what they said. Once the truck was dispatched pickup was quick, and delivery happened a couple of days before it was predicted. They were quick to call when they received the bid, and continued in contact until delivery was made. It was delayed over new years, but they called and explained the delay. Good service. 350 words? Getting a quote for transporting my car was fast and easy. The company replied within 30 minutes, perhaps even within 15 minutes (to my surprise) and even had someone call me to talk about the details. He was kind enough to send me both quotes for covered and uncovered transportation, and from there you literally just click through the link provided and pay. Confirmation/receipt of your request is sent to your e-mail, with the contact number for your trucker driver. For any questions that I had, customer service was friendly and helpful—same with the truck driver. I was stuck in traffic while on the way to meet the driver Dan, and even though he had no choice but to wait for me to arrive, his attitude was still pleasant when I met him 45 minutes late! He goes over the condition of the car with you, and answers any questions you may have. Overall, I had a great experience! Their quote is reasonable, and much cheaper than other quotes I've gotten to ship a car from Florida to Southern California. I would highly recommend!

Montway is outstanding. When considering the low level customer service provided today all Montway staff members where wonderful. The contractor they selected to transport my Cadillac provided me with up to date notifications as to the current location and the anticipated time of delivery of my car. Which I might add was a full day early. I've had vehicles transported on a number of occasions without customer service being even close to comparison. I highly recommend the nervous shipper send their "babies" using Montway Auto Transport.

They picked my car up 2 days after I placed my order and it arrived earlier than expected. While I know they are just a broker, the communication was great and they obviously work with reputable drivers. This was my first transport experience and I heard all kinds of horror stories. I'm glad mine wasn't one of those. The only negative was a little oil dripped on my car from the one above it. Nothing a car wash and a little windex couldn't take care of.

I am very disappointed with the service. My car was picked up on 1-13-15. Right away I had an issue because the driver was wanting the cash up front. I called Montway and they got it all straightend out but the driver was not happy. Then I get a call from the driver on Monday 1-18-15 stating that he had oral surgery and wouldn't be able to deliver for a couple days. Finally on Friday the driver called and said he was on his way. Later that evening I get a call the truck has broke down. Today is Saturday 1-23-15 and I am still waiting for my vehicle. It is suppose to arrive today hopefully. This has been an unbelievable experience and I would not recommend Montway. In fact I would discourage anyone. Their video shows this nice truck very professional and the guy that showed for me was not very professional and looked like a low price second rated service.
