The dispatch and driver were direct in planning the transport, communicative throughout its passage and efficient at a really high level. They were both also incredibly warm and attentive to my anxieties about the process. They communicated Consistently and got the job done in exactly the ways they promised… If I were moving again I would call them again and, this time, without anxiety! I’m not sure what they could’ve done that would’ve made it better… Their service, their people and their costs were great!

I own my own towing business for 36 years. It was convenient for me to go pick up my new vehicle in Ohio. I called Montway and they sent george from Nordic Transport to do the job. Montway from the very first call until dropped at my door in New Jersey was perfectly on point each step of the way. They did not know that I owned my own towing business until the job was complete. I had very high expectations when hiring someone to do a job for me that I have been doing professionally for close to 40 years. They exceeded every part of the service I expected. I would use them again without hesitation, also I will be recommending them for any jobs that I cannot do. Montway is simply the best!

Pickup and delivery were easy to schedule. The driver was friendly, considerate of our college student’s needs, chose an easy access place for pick up. He was careful in inspecting the car at pickup, kindly pointing to any defects as he marked them on the auto diagram on the pickup sheet. We were able to send needed college room necessities in the car as long as they weighted less than 100 pounds and were below auto windows and covered to discourage possible theft. This was so helpful!!

Gratefully, the driver chose a safe place to deliver the auto within walking distance for the college student.

The car arrived in the same condition it was at pickup. Contents intact! It was well worth the price to have car transported in the middle of severe snow storms and COVID issues. The cost of transportation ($1,350.00 by credit card) versus the cost of gas, added mileage and increased maintenance, COVID exposure while driving, and the possibility of an accident during the long drive from CA to MI during snow storms made cross country transportation a good option. This company was great!!

The driver provided his direct cell phone number and was available for updates and answered any questions. So happy we used this company!!

I debated whether to put ONE star, but chose two because Montway did put forth some effort. This is just my story, but I feel like I need to put it out there for others looking to ship their car.

I was well aware Montway is just a broker. The actual company that brought me my car did a great job. My issue is with the "transparency" Montway says they strive for.

I requested a quote to ship my daughters car from the east coast to the west coast. Was quoted $1659. I agreed to this price and signed a contract.

On day 6 from my first requested day of pick up, I received an urgent message to contact Montway.

I'm informed they found a carrier, but the cost would be $490 MORE! I argued until I was blue in the face that I had a signed contract for $1659, but now they wanted $2149!! They told me it was the carrier asking for more money (because of low demand) and if I didn't want to pay it, they would have to start the search all over again, which would take "weeks" and there would still be NO WAY my original price would be picked up by anyone! So now that my daughter is back in CA and her car is stuck in MA, I felt like I had no other option than to agree. We needed the car back! After much more arguing and several more phone conversations, they took $100 off.

So the car was picked up and I was told 7-10 days for delivery.

On day 11, I received a phone call saying the car was JUST NOW leaving MA! So it sat somewhere for 11 days!!!

We received the car 7 days later (on a carrier FULL of cars)

I then started the process of trying to get back the remaining $390 because of the original contract I signed.

I was repeatedly informed that the contract is "transparent" and says the cost is an estimate. I have read the contract I signed six times, and it does NOT say that. Why in the world is a contract signed if not for the price quoted on it??! Then I'm told it doesn't say in the contract that the price is firm...but this is why there is a contract that I sign, right?!

I'm offered another $100 off and am told there is absolutely no way they can provide the entire refund and are not in the capacity to do so. I finally gave up. So I'm very disappointed and feeling taken advantage of.

Just be aware, the price you sign for on the contract is just an ESTIMATE. It may be the price you pay, or you may get to pay a lot more.

I moved a car from DC to DFW. I did one day of research, chose Montway because of good, competitive price along with very positive reviews. Made decision on Sunday with Tuesday scheduled pick-up. Transport was able to meet me at my house in DC. Then transit to DFW area was two days with drop-off at my driveway. There was good communication, I had the number of the driver to coordinate pickup and delivery. It was very smooth and I would not hesitate to use Montway again or recommend them as well.

I bought my barn find, 59 year old convertible at an auction that was held over 10 1/2 hours from my home. Montway made arrangements to pick up my prize and bring it home. I was not aware that the "prize" had Flat tires, seized up breaks, and a top that would blow off far earlier than highway speed. None the less, the driver that was contracted visited my prize, assessed the situation, made recommendations for the transport, and returned in two days to pick up the vehicle and bring it from North Carolina to Indiana. I can not say how thankful I am to my driver, Mark Krikov owner operator for i & i Transport LLC, and to Montway Auto Transport for putting him in the position to help me.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

If I could give a minus I absolutely would. Our bike sat two hours away from us but was not being delivered.

Montway had zero communication with us and or with the third party subcontractor even though we were chasing them to find out when our bike would be delivered.

We were always told, Monday, Wednesday, Friday, my colleague made a mistake, we’ll have a supervisor call you, it’s not our fault it’s the third party contractors fault.

Do not waste your time. You will get more information out of a brick wall.

We are still waiting on multiple call backs which still haven’t happened.

There Moto is fast, reliable hahaha what a joke. It’s been the biggest headache.

They wouldn’t even tell us where our bike was until we threatened to call the police to report our bike stolen.

Turns out our bike had been two hours away from our home for 12 days.

We decided to pick up our bike ourselves.

Never ever again, after finding out we are not the only ones this has happened too, I will NEVER trust their service. Do not be fooled by the positive reviews they have - it has to be their friends and family because there appalling service is intentional.
