Montway Auto Transport

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. Made reservations on March 7th, 2016. Target Delivery date: March 28th, FL to NY. Called Montway at least three times between 7-21 March and explained that the car was going to my son in WEST POINT and because of his full schedule, it was important for car to be there on the 28th as he made plans for pick up already. Montway assured that there was no issues with the request. Got a call from driver (carrier) on March 22nd and made plans for pick up on March 24th. Explained to driver the importance of delivering by March 28 due to son full schedule. Driver said no problem. Talked to driver 3 times on the 24th where he stated that he was going to be at my place at 6:00 pm. At 5:50 (10 minutes prior to pick up) driver calls to let me know that he can not pick up my car, because he allowed his last car owner (his neighbor) to put extra items in the car, making the truck to be overweight. ARE you SERIOUS? Because of Montway's poor and unacceptable service I end up paying more money for another company to deliver the car.

I was pleased to hear pickup was smooth from my parents home in California. My driver kept me in the loop for all dates and times. He was very polite. He told me he'd be able to meet me between 8am-10am Sunday for drop off but I'd need to meet him because it is hard to reach my area of Pittsburgh. I understood and chose a location outside the city (9 miles away). After waiting for an hour he calls and tells me he's unable to meet me due to road closures and has me drive another 5 miles out to meet him on the side of the freeway. Now almost noon, I had to walk on the side of the freeway to have my car unloaded on the shoulder. I understand door-to-door is sometimes not possible, but I was very dissatisfied with having to track him down for drop off.

I looked all over before settling with Montway and looked at reviews and I am so glad this is who I chose. Very polite from the start, there were no stupid questions which made it nice for me and very accommodating. Very quick call back and quick delivery, driver was super nice.
I would deffinately use them again.
I had a truck that was super important to me and the Trany didn't work so I was very concerned about the loading and traveling etc.. Everyone made me very comfortable and truck got there in one piece in great shape.
There was constant contact with myself and other person on the other end.
Price was a tad higher than some people who quoted me but it was well worth it in the end to have the quality transport and peace of mind that I got.

I have driven cross country 6 times. I did not feel like making it a 7th. I don't trust people, but my driver ken was top notch. He gave me updates: called and texted. Communicated very well and picked my vehicle up on my first available date. The car had some dust on it, but a quick wash will do the trick. No dents. No dings. I am very particular about my car's condition. I will absolutely request ken again! He was efficient and precise (when I watched him pull the truck off the trailer). I could not be more pleased and I am glad I didn't try and save $70 to go with a company I couldn't learn much about. Thanks ken!

My experience was very good using Montway. They called and informed me the first trucker they found claimed that large trucks were unable to get to the pickup location. That was a false statement, and the Montway representative agreed with me when I told him that. Two days later they found another trucker, Nathan, and he was great. Nathan called several time in the 4 days he had my car to let me know where they were and when they expected to arrive. Other than the tremendous amount of dirt that was coating my car the transport went better than I expected. Just allow a lot of time to clean your car if you put it on an open transport.

We were very happy with the service of the company even tho they got caught in heavy traffic in Portland, Oregon and were a couple of hours late getting to Salem. We would recommend them again. Kept us informed all the way here and very polite and helpful. We would use them if we had to again. With the bad weather between Michigan and here we thought it would take more than a week to get here . Our thanks to the company and the drivers for getting it here in good time and condition. We would recommend Montway auto transport to anyone that asks.

Everything went well. They kept me informed when pickup and delivery would occur. Even though I paid for open transport, the transporter used was enclosed. They were very careful with loading and unloading my car which has a very low-to-the-ground front spoiler. The time from pick up to delivery was only 4 days, which was ahead of schedule. I would have no problem using them again. I am running out of things to say now but this review service demands that the review be at least 350 characters long. I hope I have enough now.
