Montway Auto Transport

I am very disappointed with the service. My car was picked up on 1-13-15. Right away I had an issue because the driver was wanting the cash up front. I called Montway and they got it all straightend out but the driver was not happy. Then I get a call from the driver on Monday 1-18-15 stating that he had oral surgery and wouldn't be able to deliver for a couple days. Finally on Friday the driver called and said he was on his way. Later that evening I get a call the truck has broke down. Today is Saturday 1-23-15 and I am still waiting for my vehicle. It is suppose to arrive today hopefully. This has been an unbelievable experience and I would not recommend Montway. In fact I would discourage anyone. Their video shows this nice truck very professional and the guy that showed for me was not very professional and looked like a low price second rated service.

Service cost: $800

I used the uShip website/Application to ship a brand new compact vehicle from Boston to San Francisco. The original pickup/dispatch date was 12/28/2015 indicated by Montway and Uship. The car did not get picked up until 1/11/2015 off the dealership lot. I been waiting over 2 weeks after the car finally was picked up and shipped, with the original delivery date between the 23rd and at the latest the 26th of January the same month. When asked about the the status of the vehicle on multiple calls I have placed to this company's customer service on when I should expect delivery, I get the repetitive response "Should be there today or tomorrow". I still have not received my car from the time of this review, and it seems this company doesn't really care to escalate nor find out where you property is. The company uses a third party to ship your items, which seems strange I guess to a consumer since I am using a third party tool (uShip) to get a company that can ship items who then in turn uses another company to ship.

Service cost: $1250

I would use Montway Auto Transport again in the future. Unlike other companies I tried to use in the past, when I called Montway for a price quote, there were no gimmicks, no bidding involved, which was a relief!

Paul, the SK Trucking driver wanted to pick up my car 2 days earlier than the date Montway Auto Transport promised, but he was fine to wait on me to release my car 1 day earlier. Since his truck arrived at the delivery destination a few days earlier than the promised date, my car was safely stored in his enclosed truck until I arrived in Florida! He delivered my car in the same shape and condition as when it was picked up.

I highly recommend Montway Auto Transport and SK Trucking Company. You'll have peace of mind when you use them, especially if you have a high-end vehicle!

Do not ever use Montway for auto transport. They sub out jobs to anyone on the street and you will suffer due to this. I lost 1.5 days of work due to the truckers lying about when the vehicle would be delivered. They rarely answered texts, never answered their phones. Montway does not stand behind their word. They never compensated me for the loss of 1.5 days of work lost- no a $50 gift card will not cut it. Spend more and go with a reputable company like Reliable. A vehicle I had transported from WA to PA (with Reliable) was a much easier deal than a vehicle from IN to PA- go figure. Don't go with the cheap guys- you get what you pay for.

I did my homework before I engaged Montway. I got quotes from 13 different moving companies for prices that ranged from 825 dollars all the way up to 1600 dollars! I went through all customer reviews and narrowed it down to 3 companies. I picked Montway because they had an excellent Chat service on a Sunday. The rest of them were not available when I called them or did not have chat service. In any case, I was very pleased. They always had someone on the chat to answer my questions. The truck drivers were great. The car was delivered on time as promised. It was delivered in excellent condition. I am very happy with Montway. Their price by the way was not in the low end but all three companies I picked as the top contenders for the job asked more or less for the same price (1040, 1050, etc.).

I have to admit I was hesitant of shipping my car for my cross country relocation. I was worried about theft, damage, vandalism..
The personnel who helped make the reservations assured me that this process was seamless..and it was. They helped me find the right day to ship my car, and 10 days later there is was, delivered right to me! The car was mint, just like when I shipped it and everything was exactly what Montway said it would be. Very happy and would recommend again.
