Montway Auto Transport

Driver arrived late to copart auction yard in Florida to pick up the car on the scheduled day and was forced to pick up the following day.He made the offer to pay any and all storage fees or penalties that occurred admitting that he was at fault. (the same thing happened with me when I used a company by name of allegiant auto logistics and they refused to accept the blame and cost me an additional $100.00 in storage fees by going through the weekend NEVER USE THESE PEOPLE) Anyways montway offered and took care of it because they are good to their word and don't put money ahead of customer service or satisfaction.(unlike the other) They did pick up late but delivered 2 DAYS EARLY!!.SO EVERYTHING ON MY END WORKED OUT PERFECT I will definitely use these guys again and probally wont even bother with trying to broker through uship or any other website again !!NEVER USE ALLEGIANT AUTO LOGISTICS they are crooks!!  .

These guys absolutely destroyed my car exterior. I have huge scratches on my hood and roof, and even circular scratches where someone clearly tried to "fix" it.

The car showed up muddy and dirty, hiding the scratches. The driver literally stopped the car in the middle of a busy highway and offloaded the car in the middle of traffic. I think the driver intentionally parked in the middle of the highway (and maybe got it dirty) to hide the scratches and keep there from being a thorough inspection, since they were in the middle of traffic.

I was out of the country for several months, so it was a family member of mine who accepted delivery on my behalf. When I got home I washed the car, saw the scratches, and couldn't believe it. I called, emailed, and contacted the company online to file complaints. No responses as of yet.

Learn from my mistakes! I know it took me way too long to recognize the damage, and I had a family member sign for the car, but I never would have thought that they could have been this destructive or careless. Absolutely DO NOT use this company. They are dishonest and they will ruin the car. It's not worth it.

We thought we were hiring a reputable company to transport my dad’s vehicle.  We originally hired Montway Auto Transport.  However, we didn’t realize they subcontracted out to Save-On Transport until the day of the pickup.  When the vehicle was delivered, the vehicle was covered with heavy dust.  After washing the car, there were hundreds of scratches to the rear of the vehicle.  It appears that something was hanging down from the upper trailer that was rubbing or striking the vehicle during the transport.  When we called Montway Auto Transport, they told us to file with the insurance company.  The insurance company told us that the cost of the damage was below deductable and we needed to deal with Save-On Transport directly.  When we called Save-On Transport, they told us that “his driver did not make those scratches and they were not paying a penny.”  During the course of the conversation, the owner, David Galitsin also stated that he had over 15 complaints made against him via Better Business Bureau (BBB) and that he didn’t care if one more complaint was made by us.  When I checked into BBB ratings, they rated Save-On Transport an “F” out of scale of A to F.  The rating of “F” was due to failure to respond to complaints filed against them and no sufficient info to determine how long they have been operating or providing any background information on this business.  If we had known all this, we would never have agreed for Save-On to transport our vehicle.    We made our last attempt and contacted Montway Auto Transport to advise them that we had a contract with them and not with Save-On Transports.  They advised me that we could have refused the service if we didn’t like the subcontractor.  How could we have known, if we didn’t know until the day of the pickup.  Basically, nobody is taking the responsibility and we are stuck with the bills.      I definitely would not recommend either of these companies.   .

Prompt transport estimate.  Driver was professional, experienced and helpful on both ends, accommodating with requirement to pump up the tires for movement off the truck during on/off loads during shipping. (NOTE - as required the truck was running however it was pre-restoration and running rough with sketchy tires) The price of the transport was reasonable, very competitive.. I received 5 estimates.  I selected Montway because they provided a better estimate - more specific on the final cost, estimated pickup/delivery dates and were more responsive to questions.  The driver was very helpful with estimated pickup and delivery times and provided updates with issues along the transport.

Service cost: $1690

I filled out a pick-up request for the 18th on the internet. Received confirmation via email that they would contact me shortlyThe called the evening of the 18th to confirm pick-up.I told them it was too late--went with someone else.  Person on phone asked me to send email back cancelling order--I didShe then called me to say full refund. Then her dispatcher called--said they needed $199 cancellation fee--said they had a pick-upI asked when--they said the 21st--which was not the 18th when I told them we went with company x--they insisted company x could not pick up our car on the 19th.  he kept bullying me to go with him and cancel company x.  I went with company x and they picked up my car on the 19th!He then charged me a $199 cancellation fee--which is what you sign up for if you fill out a request on line --even if they don't meet the date you asked for--sounds like a one-way deal to me--Montways!

Delivery went as smooth as possible. Our pick up and delivery times, which were limited for our own personal reasons, were met for both ends. The driver kept us updated on location. If we texted or called with questions we received a response in a timely manner. Couldnt have asked for anything more. Very happy with how the overall experience was from dialing the 800# to the car being delivered! I should mention the car was modified with only 3 inches of clearance and they managed to get it on and off the truck with zero issues!
