Montway Auto Transport quoted a price of $1,400 to transport out 2009 Chevy HHR from Atlanta, Georgia to Seattle, Washington. This quote included guaranteed pickup on the day before we flew to Seattle, and top loading. On the day the truck was due to pick our car up, Montlake called us and said they were having a hard time finding a local transporter to do the job. They were concerned and assured us they were exploring several ways to solve the problem, They were very professional and kept in communication with us.  Finally, they called and said they had found someone. I am certain they had to pay the man more than they had hoped, and were making very little money on the deal. We were nervous about shipping our car-we had never done this-but the man who arrived and did the job was so professional, we  stopped worrying. He kept in touch with us as he crossed the country, and our car arrived in fine condition. It's nice when people do what they tell you they're going to do.

I moved from TX to VA. I was looking for a shipping company. I googled it. Found lots of them. Majority of those were very expensive. I could not afford. I talked with 'Montway'. They told me a very cheap rate. As a software engineer, I was aware of the SPAM, and other fradulant behavior. So, I did not believe it. I again googled it to know if they are spam. I did not find anything. Few days before that, my friend was talking about some robbers who take cars to Mexico. I was very nervous. Anyway, I convinced myself to take a risk. I placed an order. I did not put real credit card number. It was a virtual card number with maximum amount limit and customized expirary date. My friend handed over the key to the driver. I asked him if the driver gave him any document. He confirmed me Yes. So, my car was on the way. I started calling the Montway frequently for tracking it. I was told that they are ready to deliver the car before expected day. I was happy. I got the car at one o'clock at night. I asked the driving- 'Sir, could I have a look at the car?' He replied - 'why not?' It was mid night. I just looked if any big damage was there. Seemed to be OK. I paid him and he left. Next morning- I started to look minutely. No damage, no stealing, nothing! I am fully convinced that 'ALL CHEAP THINGS ONLINE ARE NOT SPAM.' Looking for a car-shipping company? Why don't you go for 'Montway'? Give a try today!! Pick up was very quick.  Price was very reasonable.  Great communication from the dispatchers, driver, and email.  I will definitely use Montway again in the future! Thanks for the great experiance!  I had planned on flying out one way and driving back.  Money-wise it was right at the same price, but I didn't have to put 900 miles on a car I was unfamiliar with and take 2 days out of my schedule.  Not saying my time is worth a ton, but the price of convenience was WELL worth it!

Overall very good experience with Montway.
They contracted A1 Trans for the actual moving of my car.  The price did go up $100 in order to get it shipped within my timeframe, but they were very upfront about it.
 
My car was almost brand new and in perfect condition.  It got moved across the country and honestly it wasn't that dirty upon receipt, and only two tiny scratches.  (Small, still in the clearcoat and waxed/buffed out)  I honestly think that much or more would've happened driving it myself.
Delivery was very quick and earlier than expected.  Zero complaints from me.

Follow up prior to car pick up was very good. Car driver pick up was on time and all scheduling from start to finish was excellent. Not a single complaint. Price was in line with competitor and there were no other hidden charges. All personnel were professional and courteous from beginning to end of process. Order taker and expediter were factual and knowledgeable of service and customer service. Dispatcher was courteous and returned all phone calls promptly. Driver was on time, professional and courteous. He returned phone calls promptly and kept to his schedule. Overall great experience.

This experience was amazing from beginning to end, very professional and friendly. Moving across state and in an extremely "stressed out" state, I had a lot of questions. Everyone I spoke with during this process was so patient and attentive. When they were to pick up my vehicle, they called the day before to let me know they were coming the following morning. Delivery was earlier than expected which was a nice surprise. I sincerely recommend anyone looking to transport your car, hire this company- they are truly 5 star in all aspects.
