Montway Auto Transport

This is the 4th time that Montway Auto Transport has shipped our car to Florida or has shipped our car back to Illinois.  They always have picked up our car at our house in Illinois and delivered it directly to our house in Florida.  Or, in the same manner, they picked it up at the house in FL and delivered it to the house in Illinois.  We've given them dates that are available to us for pickup or delivery and they have complied without a question.  They call and suggest a time for pickup.  If that fits into our time schedule, the time is then arranged.  Each time they have been prompt and arrived at the pre-arranged time. When they arrive to pick up the car they check it over carefully for any scratches or dents that are already there.  Then  they handle it with care.  They are very careful to make sure the car is secured tightly to the truck.  After checking it a few times, they drive off.   We do put a few things in the trunk and there has never been a problem with missing or damaged items.  They have proven to be trustworthy, honest and prompt in our business dealings.

Overall, I had a good experience with Montway in my move from California to IL. They were very responsive during the UShip bidding process and were prompt in scheduling my.

My only semi compliant was the pickup. The pickup was delayed by the weather (which was of course no fault of Montway) and I was not going to be around due to my previously scheduled flight. I was expecting to have the car picked up by my house or near my house, because I was going to have my friend drop off the keys to the driver. After speaking with the dispatcher, I was told that I had to drive about 20 min away to have it picked up. I was told to leave the car in an "inn" parking lot, however the signs in the lot stated that unauthorized cars would be towed. I was weary so I parked my car on the street which was no big deal, but I wonder what could have happened had I parked in the lot.

Aside from that, the car arrived within 4 days of pickup and the delivery guy was great. All things taken into consideration, I highly recommend Montway.

I booked with Montway after a friend of a friend had a very good experience shipping her car to San Diego with Montway. There are a lot of vehicle moving companies, I wanted to go with a company that someone had had personal experience with.
The booking agent was very helpful and easy to get a hold of. For an extra $100 I could add extra baggage to the vehicle, which was a great help to our cross country move. The day before the move, I got the drivers direct phone number and we coordinated directly. Igor came by Thursday morning, right on time, we walked through the process and he then loaded my Honda Accord like an expert. Igor was very confident handling both his truck and my car.
He explained his schedule before he left, and warned of possible weather delays. There were no weather delays. Igor arrived a few hours later than originally quoted, but everyone was safe and the car in great shape. I would highly recommend Montway Transport to anyone with shipping needs.

I was very very very nervous when I needed to choose a company to transport my car from Los Angeles to Columbus. I have never done this before, so trusting a stranger to take care of my baby car was difficult. I called so many places, and asked so many questions.After doing some research and looking into multiple reviews, I finally decided to go with these guys, who charged me about $830. They were nice and friendly, and answered all the questions I had. Make sure to ask about even the simple things, review the terms and conditions so there will be no surprises. I am glad I chose these guys because they were so prompt. I placed my order and a guy call me the very next day, I was surprised to see how fast they contacted me. Given, I was going from a big city to a big city, so that was to my advantage. The car was delivered to me on the day promised. The only thing that I was a little sketching about was communication about the times, as to when exactly they were going to pick up and deliver. I understand that they have to drive out to pick up/deliver other orders, so the wait time was not too bad. Overall, I would recommend these guys. My car came back dirty from being on the bottom of the trailer, but it came back in one peace. That's all I really needed. Thanks guys! I would trust you guys with my car again. .

The overall contracting and moving expereience was very good.  The customer service group was knowlegeable and provided all the information I needed to move the vehicle. I was surprised at how quick they located a carrier, I believe it was the same day that I contracted to have the truck moved.  The move was from Nashville,TN and Lexington, KY and was handle professionally and without any issues.  I recieved the truck the next day after signing the contract. The process was handled on the internet and in addition,  I was able to talk to them by phone when the need arose.  I would recommend the service to anyone moving a vehicle and will use them the next time I need the service. .

The company was very helpful and knowledgable.  Everything I was told from beginning to end made the transition seamless with no problems what's so ever.  I will definitely use them again.  I have also reccommended them to friends already.  The quote was easy to get on line, so that I knew exactly how much I would have to pay prior to pick-up.  Whilst dealing with customer service I was also advised of the items I could place in my vehicle free of charge.  Any additional items I was told the amount I would have to pay.  Nothing was left to the last minutes as in excess fees.  They told me how many days the car would take to get to the destination and that they would be calling prior to delivery.  Again I was totally pleased with Montway Auto Transport and their excellent and affordable fees.

We actually shipped 2 cars from 2 different cities in California to the East Coast.  One was $910, the other $1100, both in the middle of summer.  I was very worried about this process, but it went well.  We had some time constraints and the assigned drivers worked with us to make it happen.  I found both drivers very professional, calling in advance and worked with me on pick up and drop off locations.  I was offered a modest $25 gift card to review, which I think is a reasonable encouragement for someone to write a review, but not enough to make someone lie if they had a bad experience.  I don't care about that because I'm shipping a car again any time soon, so it won't do me any good.  Just thougth I should be transparent about that since I know some companies try to game reviews.  I would happily recommend Montway again.  Glad I followed the recommendation of a friend of a friend!

I had a great experience shipping my car with Montway Auto Transport. I had checked into a lot of car shipping companies and Montway Auto Transport ended up being number one for what I needed. Their shipping quote was less than any other company I contacted, 630. Others were charging 800-1000. Their customer service was easy to reach and always available to answer questions. Montway Auto Transport were very prompt and knowledgeable with every question I had about the car shipping process. I chose for my car to be picked up in FL around August 1, and they told me it would be picked up then or around that date. My car was picked up very promptly on August 3rd. I shipped my car from Florida to Dallas TX and the car ended up being shipped in 4 days, it actually came a day earlier than expected! When the driver arrived in Dallas to drop off my car he could not fit in my complex area, the truck was too large and it was unsafe to unload my car in the street. He was very kind to drive to a nearby shopping center to unload my vehicle in a safe area for both the truck and the car. Everyone I dealt with during this process at Montway Auto Transport was very professional and I would definitely recommend Montway Auto Transport to anyone who is in need to have their car shipped across the country. Expect excellent service, great, professional customer service, a very prompt pick up, and delivery and an overall great experience!

I shipped a Toyota Camry from Connecticut to Michigan. Originally, I made a reservation in their website and paid the deposit. I called them a couple of days later and notified them thata I wanted to move the Shipping Date to 5 days earlier. They were very accomodating and assigned a Carrier the very next day. I was impressed with their professionalism in handling my request. 
 
My assigned carrier (truck driver) called me and scheduled a convenient pick-up time. The pick-up was on-time and hassle-free. My apartment is located in a narrow-yet-busy street. Fortunately they managed to load my car pretty quicky. It hardly took 5-6 mins. With my Car, the truck was loaded to capacity. So, they just took 2 days (including a Sunday) to deliver. The Car arrived in perfect condition. 
 
I'm very impressed with Montway Auto Transport and would definitely recommend them to others. .

Working with Montway was a great experience. I had my 2011 Jetta transported from south Florida to North Carolina for school. I made the decision last minute to have to transported and the representatives made it an easy process. My car was picked up within a few days and was delivered on the exact date I was told. Their prices were the most reasonable after doing some research with other companies. I was even able to put some extra clothes in the back of my car to make traveling easier. My car arrived safely, without any damage or stolen items. .

I shipped my car with 1st Class Automovers, Inc. with Montway Auto Transport as the broker.  It was very easy to get an accurate quote and schedule the shipment online.  All of my questions were answered quickly on an online chat as I was scheduling my shipment.  My car was picked up and delivered on the days that were estimated with no damage.  The people I spoke to on the phone were very polite and helpful.  The driver was very nice and answered all of the questions I had.  I would absolutely recommnend Montway Auto Transport as a broker and 1st Class Automovers, Inc. as a carrier. .

I sent my son's car to FL where he is living. I found Montway through a web search.  I asked questions about car pickup and typical shipping times though the Montway web chat service.  Chat Cutstomer Service Rep was very polite and responsive.  I requested the shipment on Tuesday.  Pickup in MD was on Wednesday and delivery in FL to my son on Thursday.  The Driver was polite, professional and thorough.  I highly recommend Montway as the broker or mover for car shipping services.  I was very happy with this first-time experience.

I recently had Montway be responsible for shipping my 1957 Thunderbird from Florida to Illinois. I was alway alerted to pickup times and delivery time. The driver was courteous, professional, and early from the original delivery time. The vehicle arrived in perfect condition. The price to ship this distance was fair and I would use this company again for delivering classic autos. THe car even arrived in an enclosed trailer as I thought that it was open. Nice touch to a great experience.
