I found montway on the internet and I needed to ship my wife's car from Ohio to Texas after our wedding. They were the cheapest so I had my concerns. So I decided to chat with one of their agents.
The Montway live chat Chat Agent was prompt and very helpful. He told me in detail the whole car shipping experience:
1. The shipment date is not fixed but floating. So you enter a date after which your car is ready to be shipped. The car will generally be picked up within 3-4 days of that date.
2. If I wasn't available to ship the car myself, meaning if me and my wife wanted to leave for Texas, before Montway came and pick up the car, I could hand the keys over to a friend and have him/her give the car to the trucker. That was a great convenience.
3. They were very flexible to work around my schedule and said that I could specify timings when me (or my friend) would be available to give the car. Super convenient.
4. It will take 4-5 days for the car to reach texas.
5. They will pick it up at your door and deliver it at your door also.
6. I could ship my wife's stuff in the car for a meager $100 as long as the windows were not blocked by the stuff. (!!) :)
Anyways I booked the car to be shipped after Thursday and booked our flight tickets on Saturday. I was thinking that the trucker would come by Saturday and so we could hand the car over to him ourself. But we also had a friend that was willing if the trucker came after Saturday.
Well, the trucker called on Wednesday evening and came on time on Thursday afternoon!!. We reached Texas Saturday evening and the trucker called and said he was there!! 2 days!! :)
We couldn't be happer. The car was in great shape!

This is my second experience shipping vehicles from Texas to our new home in Western New York and I chose Montway this time from their online and BBB rating. While both experiences were ok, Montway stayed to their quoted time and price of $670 was over $300 less than I paid last time even with higher fuel costs.  When the driver was caught in traffic he promply called and informed us drop off would be delayed a few hours. In the end the car arrived on the date quoted in the same as shape as it was picked up.  Good value, courteous driver and efficient system.  .

I recently moved to Texas from Florida and I did not ship my car.  I looked online for a cheap cost without sacraficing service.  Most places were charging at least a hundred dollars more than what I paid with Montway.  They required a deposit (which is normal) and the rest of it was paid off at the time of delivery.  They picked up the vehicle two days later than what I was told, but they delivered the vehicle to my location within 24 hours!  I was able to put some personal items and it was well received.  The only con I would have to say about the whole experience besides the late pick up date, was the lack of communication.  I tried to call the driver himself and I left a message, but he never returned my call.  Also, I was told that I would receive a call the night before, from either the driver or the organization, about the pick up and hours prior to the actual pick up.  This never occured, instead all that I received was a call an hour prior to pick up and drop off, which made me somewhat frustrated because I had to inconvenience my father and mother, whom thankfully I left the money with, so they can give the money to the driver upon delivery. Despite these shortcomings, I would highly recommend Montway auto transport to anyone requiring car shipment.  They are extremely quick in delivering the car and extremely affordable!

I needed a car delivered from NY to OK and used uship.com to get some quotes.  Admittedly, Montway was a few dollars more than the cheaper, smaller, guys, but what I appreciated about Montway was all the positive feedback they have received and that they have been around for a while and would not give me any trouble should I need to file an insurance claim, etc.   Thankfully, my vehicle arrived in perfect condition and this was not necessary.  The driver, Joe, communicated with me all through the process and was very patient and pleasant.  Thank you Montway and Joe!

Everyone was very nice and professional.  The driver did not speak much. lol.  But he was very nice and on time.   He was very gentle with my car.  And he arrived at the destination right when he said he would.   He delivered my car to my parents on time and very professionally.  My mom said the same thing I did:  he didn't speak much.  But when he did speak, he was very professional and nice.  Montway's price was the best price by far.  I scheduled the picked up online on July 4th (when offices were closed.)   I did not expect anyone to call me for a couple of days.  My surprise:  they called me on July 5th and offered to pick up right then.  I asked if they could pick up after 6p and they said it was fine.  I was very pleased with the service and will recommend to my friends if they need this service.  .

My experience was excellent.  I found Montway on the website and got a quote on July 3.  Later that day I decided to go thru with the deal so I called Peter D. who I chatted online with.  The website had said it may take up to 5 days to book the pick up and 5 to 7 day for deliver and I would get the car by the latter part of July which was fine.  Montway called me back the same day July 3 at like 6:30 and said they could pick the car up on July 4 and deliver on Sunday July 8.  Unfortunately I was going to be out of town so we moved the pickup to July 5 and the deliver to July 9th.  Everything worked out great.  The driver who dropped the car off last night was nice and he was here and gone in like 10 minutes. Also the best price around.  My note on dirty items was that the steering wheel and the door panel on the drivers side was greasy I am assuming from the drivers hands.   I would definitely use your service again and recommend them to all my friends and family. Thanks again.

Montway Auto Transport agreed to ship my wife's automobile from Southern California to Alabama for $1,010. I was impressed by Montway's affordable price, particularly in comparison with other quotes I had received; the only cheaper quote I had come across required the car owner to drive more than 30 miles to the dropoff/pickup locations, which wasn't nearly as convenient as Montway's door-to-door service. The drivers were very personable and courteous, and they were very thorough with their work. The pickup occurred on a Friday afternoon, and the delivery was completed by the following Friday morning. The overall experience was positive, with only a few communication errors along the way (the pickup driver kept calling my backup contact person to give notice of his arrival, rather than calling me directly). If Montway continues to offer affordable quotes for auto shipping, I will certainly consider them for my moving needs in the future.

I have moved my car from Tampa-FL to Columbus-OH. I was taking quote from variuous movers and fortunately found montway auto transport and the price is also affordable of appreciate their timely response and professionalism. I have given my pick up date as 3rd July and intially told me 5 business days window for pick up and 5 business days after pick up. But they picked my car on 6th july and delivered on 9th July. Driver was friendly. Appreciate your efforts. Thanks Sam  .

Good company to deal with. 
My car was scheduled to be picked up on 6/23 and it wouldn't even start (the alarm key had been through the wash and I couldn't disarm the alarm). They came by the house and weren't able to pick it up due to the condition of the alarm.  The driver was understanding which was a relief giving the high stress of the situation. 
I was able to get the alarm fixed a couple days later and they were able to find me another transport within a day or two.  Even with the July 4th weekend approaching!
My car arrived in CT a few days later.  I give them 5 stars for their customer service and their patience with my mishap.
I would use them again.

5 Stars for Montway, 2.5 for their subcontractor used to ship my vehicle. Montway was easy to work with and provided great response when contacted. One comment is the contact information provided for the driver of the subcontractor company was incorrect. The driver contacted me 45 minutes before delivery and, when I mentioned I had to leave work, so I may be 5-10 minutes late, he said, "Whatever, you only have one hour to get here." Also, he complained when I gave him a Cashier's Check and told me he called me four days ago to ask for cash (bogus). Good job Montway, bad job Safe Way Auto, Inc. Note to Montway, may want to reconsider using this subcontractor or at least have them give the drivers a lesson in being professional. Thanks!

Wow!  After reading all of the positive and negative reviews online I didn't know where to turn to have my vehicle transported from California to Oklahoma.  We did the research and Montway had excellent reviews online.  We picked them and they far exceeded my expectations.  They called me on the second day that the vehicle was to be ready for pickup.  The dealership was not ready at that point, but I worked with them to verify that they received proof of the wire transfer to pay for the vehicle and called Montway back.  They put things together quickly and the vehicle was off and moving on Monday and arrived on Wednesday.  Shon the driver was real good about telling me where he was and when he expected to arrive.  Go with Montway.

Great broker.  This company provided one of the best quote with the least haggle.  I moved two cars from El Paso, TX to FT Benning, GA. Montway was right on point and cut the BS to the minimum.  Information provided was accurately and the car was picked up for the right price.  I paid $1,160 and the majority of the other companies wanted 100-150 more just to post the cars on the so called "National Board".
Lots of companies competing out there but I can honestly say that Montway will price your car right and will deliver.

I bought a brand new car from Seattle and I was really neverous about shipping it cross country to New York.  I shopped around and researched a lot and decided to go with Montway.  I paid $950 for door to door and the next lowest rate I could find was $1110 with the dealer having to drive 40 miles and I would have had to drive 50 miles to pick it up. 
Montway dispatched All States Auto Transport LLC to transport my car and everything went as smooth as can be.  I scheduled my car to be picked up July 5th and it was picked up right on July 5th.  It got here on July 11th..6 days across the entire country from Seattle to Long Island, New York.  Every other company estimated it would be a 2 to 3 week total process from the time it might be picked up to delivery.
The car arrived in perfect condition.  I bought a brand new car so I was worried about the condition it might arrive in but everything worked out great.  I just had to wash the dust and bugs off which is to be expected for any car travelling across United States.
The drivers were great guys.  They called me the day it was coming to let me know their plans and kept me updated on their progress.  They even offered to pick me up a cup of coffee as they were getting off the highway near my house.  Very nice guys and a great experience overall.

I had a great experience with Montway.  I needed a car shipped from AZ to FL and I did some searching for quotes online.  Montway was $200 cheaper than any other quotes I received.  This had me initially worried that it would take a long time to find a driver to pick up my car; however, to my surprise, the car was picked up the next business day!
When I was in the process of searching for a shipping company, I was able to chat with 2 Montway reps online who answered all of my questions.  I was also able to place my order online, which was very convenient.
I received email notifications letting me know pertinent information about my order and when the driver would be picking up the vehicle, etc.  I received a call the next day that the driver was ready to pick it up.  I met with him and was quoted 7 days to deliver.
Exactly 7 days later, the car arrived at its destination, safe and sound.  I would recommend Montway to anyone looking to ship a vehicle.

I was little worried initially when I booked my car to be transported from WA to NY since I had very bad experiance with another transport company when I shipped my car from NY to WA. Montway Auto Transport exceeded my expectation very professional not only they picked up my car on time they deliver my car 4 days early then expected  delivery date without any damage to my car. They also communicate with me along the way Via email. I would definitely recommend to evey one to contact them and use their services because they are honest, professional and organize and know what they are doing.

Excellent experience and decent price. Most companies want to feed you a line of crap or even scare you into paying a lot more but Montway personnel gave a decent price form the get go.  No runarounds or bad mouthing other companies or their tactics.  Cars were picked up a day earlier than agreed and delivered a day earlier also, created a little bit of a problem because the distance and other plans that we had made but not a deal breaker. Truck driver hired to do the move was also a professional. Truck and especially the auto transport looked a little beat up but nothing major. Communication with the driver was not the best due to lack of cell phone by the truck driver. I ended up communicating with the dispatcher so he could relay the to and from the truck driver. Cars arrived in the same condition they were picked up. Will do business and definitely recommend Montway again. Cars were dirty and wet but I chose an open transport so nothing that could be done about this.

Bottom line was that the car got to destination at quoted price in the same condition it was sent. But the experience and communication with contractor (Tucker shipping) was not satisfactory. Pickup was two days later than projected, and driver arrived at 8:30 p.m. His truck cable wasn't working so he had to repair that, and it took him 1.5 hours to put my vehicle on his truck and depart (i.e., 10 p.m.). This was on a Wednesday. Car was to be delivered to Austin., Texas by Sunday, but it did not end up being delivered until Tuesday. Any communication had to be initiated by me - contractor didn't return calls and often didn't answer phone. A positive was that the folks in truck (driver and his wife, I assume) were polite and helpful when I reached them, and they were nice to my daughter when she arrived to pick up the car.I just think the contractor was over-committed and put more demands on his drivers than was reasonable. The auction delivery price was good, $300 less than I could find by calling local auto haulers.

Montway was one of the transporters recommended by the dealership I purchased my car from. They promptly submitted a bid for $610.00 that I felt was reasonable (other transporters also submitted bids) and had a driver scheduled to pick up the car in two days. However, due to a technical issue, the car was not ready to be picked up at the appointed date, so I informed Montway of this and requested the pickup be rescheduled for two days later than the original pickup date. There was some difficulty in locating another driver to pick up and transport the car on the new date, but Montway was finally able to locate one. It did cost an additional $90.00 (total of $700.00), but the car was picked up on time and actually delivered sooner than expected. By the time I met the transport at the delivery location, he had already taken the car off the truck and had made a preliminary inspection of the vehicle's condition. I found no issues when I inspected the car. Overall, I was pleased with Montway's service and their being able to accommodate the change in pick-up dates.

The process was easy and they were able to accommodate my special request to have the vehicle arrive during a specific window of time. I was pleased and will use them again. The cost of the transport was much more affordable than the other companies from which I requested quotes. The communication was strong, and I was able to contact someone directly for any and all questions I needed answered. The delivery time was a little late, but I was still able to get my car within the window of time I requested. Overall, I was pleased.

I chose the Montway Auto Transport because of its good online review and the simple and complete information of its website. The quote on its website is convenient (I do not need to fill in a lot of personal information to get a quote). And the policy on their website is clear. I like that.

I shipped my car from Miami to Dallas in Sep 2012 at $690. The whole process was smooth, and the car arrived safely. It took 5 days. The driver was nice.  I am satisfied with my choice.

Booked directly through their website after multiple web searches and reviews.  Overall, I'm happy with the service.  The car was picked up and delivered on the dates they stated. The car was exceptionally dirty, but what can you expect for a November in heavy down-pours.  Nothing a little elbow grease and a hand car wash couldn't fix.  If you want a clean car on arrival, ask for and pay for a top load and in an enclosed transportation.  But I saved myself a couple of hundred extra dollars by doing a car wash myself. Because my car shipment was between two private parties, my only complaints would be that getting an exact pickup time didn't happen until just a few hours before pickup.  However, delivery was door-to-door through residential neighborhoods.  Can you ask for anything more?  I think not. Would I use them again?  Yes.  Although I would require to know with whom they subcontract out to before I booked.
