I was very pleased at the professional courtesy in the manner of how they attended to my vehicle . They gave me personal service from beginning to end. They kept me informed the entire time my vehicle was in their care. My vehicle arrived in the exact condition it was when I released it to them. Before my vehicle arrived the driver surveyed the area and notice that my street was not going to be assessable for him to drop it off, so we as a team made the decision to meet me in the closest shopping parking lot available. I was very impressed at his concern for the care and valued by opinion in handling this situation. His professionalism is rare and I'm very grateful, I also would like to comment on the cost very reasonable and I will suggest this company to my friends. I live in a military community and someone is always moving. thank you again.

Montway Auto Transport has good customer communications and did a good job shipping my car. What you should understand first is that Montway is a broker, not the transport company. They act as a third party to find an auto transport company for you. Once they have scheduled a pickup, they are pretty much out of the loop and if you cancel, you still owe then $199.00 fee for finding a carrier.
The dates Montway gave me were only estimates and the carrier re-scheduled several times before actually picking up the car. It took almost 30 days from the time I contracted Montway to the day the car arrived. This was not a problem for me, but I expected it sooner. You will be a happier customer if you expect to get you car in 20-30 days instead on 7-10 like I thought.
That being said, everything went well and the car arrived undamaged.
Montway will get the job done, just not as soon as you would like.
This is the first experience I have had shipping a car.

A vehicle shipping quote from Montway Auto Transport was requested conveniently on line. Montway quickly provided a quote that I considered reasonable. They were ready for vehicle pickup almost immediately after booking the shipment. Considerable effort was made by them in timing the pickup with a delayed vehicle readiiness. Driver contact information was provided, and used, for establishing a delivery time and suggesting a more favorable delivery location. Amazingly, that time was met within a few minutes. The vehicle was unloaded, inspected and the payment code was provided, allowing for drive away in just minutes. The shipment was perfect and I am pleased with the service.

Submitted a request for quotes to ship my 2014 Honda odyssey from CA to WI on uship.com . Montway was one of the lowest prices, and had very good rates, so I went with them (while shipping a previous car we had a mess with car damage, and so figured it was worth a bit to have higher confidence in the quality of the mover). My driver was pretty helpful calling the day before to organize a window. He ended up missing his window a bit, and I had a to call him, at which point he said he'd be there in ~2 hours. Was very friendly about it though. Car was picked up Wed afternoon, and delivered Sat. morning, which is crazy fast (I'm assuming we just got lucky that the driver was already planning on heading right back). He seemed careful with the car when I was there, and the people in WI said the car arrived with zero damage, so we're happy.

I was very worried about shipping my car from Austin to Atlanta. I researched extensively and listened to my friend who recommended Montway. I was still wary all the way leading up to the pick-up. But Montway blew me away! The driver from Awuah Inc was very flexible with the pick-up (arrived on the first day of the pick-up window) and delivery time. He was responsive and pleasant throughout the entire process. I had a tight schedule for the move, and he was on schedule and made my move as painless as possible! My car arrived in original condition. Definitely recommend their service!!

Made the huge mistake of contracting with MontwayAuto. All we can say is NEVER do business with this company. They caused around $2000 damage to my car and they turn you over to the carrier's insurance company, only to find that the carrier's insurance will not cover the damages. Battery acid all over the front and side of the car, ruining the paint job and the driver dropped my car from the truck with the driver's door open and the door will not close properly. Clamp marks on the front and now I find that they damaged the exhaust system when I went to get it inspected. Another $300 down the drain on top if the 2 grand in damages. Rain and snow will get in on the pristine interior through the now unsealed door at the top, so I cannot drive the car at all if there is any chance of precipitation. What was an heirloom gift to be transported to me from my elderly father, via Montway Auto Transport and their contractors, has turned into a nightmare transaction. Be smart, don't make the same mistake we did. Buyer Beware! Or better yet, go elsewhere and save the time, money and aggravation. Buyer beware!

TERRIBLE customer service. Picked up my car 2 weeks after they said they would (a week past the latest date they said). They would say anything to get my business verbally and in emailed questions, then point to disclaimers they send AFTER the booking to negate their answers. Every time they missed a deadline, no contact from them - I had to be the one initiating all contact. Then when I gave them a bad review, they gave a bad review to me in retaliation - no reason, other than I gave THEM a bad review! Avoid at all costs! Don't use this broker - do directly to the hauler!

I was connected with Montway after visiting the website uship.com. I needed to ship an antique car I inherited from my father: a 1930 Ford Model A. My dad put this car together himself back in the early '80's, so this is an important item to me and my family. After I accepted the bid that Montway offered to ship the car for, I was put into immediate and direct contact with a representative from the company. If ever I needed a question answered, the rep always responded within an hour or two (via email). The driver that was selected to move my car was excellent and his name was "Driver Dave". He called me a day before the car was being picked up in Nebraska and called me a couple days ahead of time before he delivered the car to me in Sacramento, CA. Overall, a wonderful experience and the car was delivered without any damages.

I have used this company twice via UShip to transport my BMW 328xi. First time I used their enclosed transport and the second time in an open transport. Both time cross-country -- coast-to-coast! The first time I was nervous to send my car across, but the company/driver were always available and put me at ease. The second time I was slightly anxious knowing the car was going open, however after my first experience and working with the same company and meeting the driver who was always available via phone and the car arriving safe and sound I was extremely happy.
They are reliable, efficient, easy to work with and will take care of your car. Next time, if I need, I will call Montway directly for their services!

I booked my car transportation From Los Angeles to Orlando via Montaway a month in advance. A day before my moving date I got mail that my car will be picked up after I will move from LA. I was not so happy with this although they already informed me while booking that they need 5 day window and can pickup on anyday in that duration.I called customer care and they happily helped me in getting another truck assigned before my move date. I really appreciate the help provided. My car is received within the date range promised in perfect condition. The rates were also comparatively better than other carriers.

I was very pleased with the transport of my classic Firebird from Jacksonville FL to Dallas. Montway utilized Incognito transport and the driver (Kevin) did an excellent job with the move. He uses an enclosed trailer and my car arrived in the same condition as it left. Kevin always kept me apprised on the probable delivery date as the trip progressed. They delivered my car within a week after I first called them, which is far faster than other car haulers. I would use Montway and Incognito again in the future.

This is the first time I had my car transported from CA to MS. The person I interacted with was very professional. All questions were answered in a timely manner. They did made a mistake when they assigned a trucker to transport my car. The logistic that I requested was not honored. However, within an hour Montway corrected the mistake and assigned me with another trucker that satisfied my requirement.
On the day of the pick up of my vehicle the trucker(United transportation) informed me that he will not be able to gain access to the agreed address to pick up the car. I totally understood the narrow and windy street will not be able to accommodate a huge truck. I did wished Montway will inform me of this ahead of time so I could make arrangement to get a ride back home. Then on the delivery day the trucker again informed me about not able to meet me at the agreed delivery location due to access. Now, I became skeptical because the agreed location is a Hertz rental car location. There are large trucks frequently deliver cars at that location. I told the trucker that now one will be able to meet him other than the agreed location. The trucker ended up delivered the car to the agreed location. My take on this is a regular practice for the trucker to change the pick up and delivery location for his own convenience. That is not acceptable as the contract with Montway dictates a "door to door" service. Whether Montway has any power to control this unacceptable practice is questionable. I refuse to believe Montway is not aware of this practice. I just wish my whole experience was more seamless.

If anyone had tried to ship a vehicle cross-country you know the task can be daunting. I inquired online and within 15 minutes I had 24 email and 17 text messages from brokers. I called my mechanic back home hoping from some direction or possibly a referral. Nothing, except go with my gut and read reviews. Thanks, right?!?! That's when the research begins- Company after company. After reading Montway's reviews and speaking with a representative, I decided they were going to be my choice. Then I crossed my fingers. Immediately after meeting my driver, James, I felt at ease. He was kind, knowledgeable and informative. He keep me posted on the status of my vehicle throughout the journey- updating me on the ETA, et cetera. I honestly can say he made my experience completely convenient. I would highly recommend Montway's services- and James if you can get him!!

Let me begin by saying I could not pick less than a 1 star otherwise I would. The companies Montway does business with drivers that aren't worth a damn. 1st driver that was confirmed to pick up decided at last minute to cancel. Montway customer service could only put my request back on the board for another driver which took 2 days to confirm for a pickup 4 days later. 2nd driver picked up and delivered next day and took $225 from my father in law who this vehicle was a gift. How embarrassing. What kind of business are you running Montway?? These are the kind of drivers you’re dealing with? They are representing your company!! You get what you pay for people. Lesson learned.

My experience with this company has been horrendous. I purchased a car in WI and was having it shipped MD. It started with Montway asking me to press the dealership to move up the pick up date so they could combine shipping. After I pressed the dealership to ensure the car was ready they never showed. On top of that I was never communicated with at all until I received an email at 5:30pm on the day it was supposed to be picked up telling me they couldn't get the vehicle until the following day. Not 1 phone call or anything, yes just an email at 5:30pm on pick up day. For someone that works in NJ and needed to travel to MD to ensure I was home to pick up the car I advised them that since they delayed pick up I needed to know the exact date it would be delivered (as I assumed it would be pushed as well) so I could take off work and travel back to MD. They guaranteed it would be delivered the following day, so I took off. Now delivery day..I had to call the driver at 5:30pm for him to tell me he couldn't deliver the car that day and needed to push an additional day. Yes again no phone call or anything, not even an email this time. On top of that the reason he couldn't deliver was because he had to take a mandatory stop due to miles. Now if they knew that was the case why on the he** did they even guarantee delivery for the following day. So now I wont be home for the delivery of my car and I will need a family member to take a day off work to ensure they can be at my house for delivery. These reviews for this company must be paid for I have no idea how they are rated so high, what a joke. I will NEVER use this company again and you best believe everyone I know in the car community will hear about my experience. MONTWAY IS THE WORST BEWARE.

- We used Montway Auto Transport for moving our car from the San Francisco Bay Area, California to Chicago, Illinois. They were reasonable ($805), courteous, and kept us informed about the status of our delivery at all times. A pleasant surprise was that our car arrived within 3 days of pickup (we were expecting 5 days to a week)!! There were no damages to the car, and on an overall basis, we had a very painless and pleasant car-moving experience. Would definitely recommend them and use their services again! :-).

Everything went well with this move. Cowboys Transportation picked up the car when they said they would and delivered it when we asked them to. They took the car to their holding area until it was time to put it on the truck heading east. The car was undamaged and the delivering driver apologized because it was a little dirty from the rain he drove through. Both drivers were courteous and intentional about communicating with me. There were no ugly surprises or bitter disappointments. I am completely satisfied.

From start to finish the process could not have been easier. I booked online and pickup was scheduled just a couple days later. The driver was great and arrived exactly on time, communicating with me as he approached. Quoted transit days was 7-10, and my truck arrived in 8 days, in exactly the condition it was before it left. Montway was the second cheapest I found but the cheaper one had 0 reviews while Montway had 1000s so I went with them. Great decision. Fantastic service!
