Thanks to the crew and our friend who recommended it. 2 men with truck came for our moving. We moved from NY to Hoboken, NJ 5th floor apartment without elevator. Though we were happy getting good apartment in NJ, the move scared us, but 'WE MOVE U' people made it a breeze. They packed our furniture carefully in the blankets and got the boxes for our clothes, we are able to move the hanged items as it is, I just have to transfer boxed clothes to closets, It was easy job for me afterwards. It was 2 more boxes extra, than quoted, due to small stuff around. But they didn't charge extra amount of money, we tipped them,as we were very happy with this move. They also helped us in removing the blankets around the furniture after moving. To my surprise, they unloaded very quickly within 2 hours from truck to the apartment which is on 5th floor.

We initially talked to another moving company also with high reviews. They estimated close to 9hrs of work. But this team only takes less than half of the time! And with lower hourly rate! Amazing!! My husband and I are very happy with their service. They are very very FAST and professional.They made quick work of moving all our stuff from storage back to our house. Next time I move (hopefully never, God willing), they'll be my first call. I highly recommend them.. Highly recommended!

Last summer I used We Move U to move my mother from NYC to Florida and I was very impressed.  Mike and company were very communicative and helped make planning and scheduling the move easier. The crew of guys showed up on time they were careful and efficient in wrapping furniture and packing the truck.

A few days after the initial move out - I met the crew at my mother's new place in Naples. Once again they arrived in the window of time the dispatcher promised me.  The crew went right to work unpacking the truck and placing boxes furniture etc where I wanted it - and helping me with assembly.  This was one of the easier moves I've done - I highly recommend We Move You.

A few weeks ago I was so happy when I closed out on my new apartment in New York. Of course, my happiness did not last long when I realized that now came the hard part which was moving from NJ to NY.
My friend recommended We Move U which he used to also move from NJ to NY. I called them up and they were very thorough in going everything that would be needed from packing materials to what was being moved. I received a competitive quote and went to 2 other companies which were more expensive.
I decided to go with We Move U and I am so happy. They day of the move the crew showed up early as promised and got to work right away. They were very good in following my instructions in how to handle some of the more fragile items that I have. They also brought a truck big enough so we could do the move in one trip.
A soon as the truck was packed up they took everything to my new address in New York City quickly and efficiently. The only thing that slowed us down was the traffic on the GW Bridge. After we arrived, they diligently began to take everything upstairs into the apartment and placing each box in the place I labeled it to go in.
Overall, I am very satisfied and would recommend them to anyone moving from New Jersey to New York.

I spoke with Steve to negotiate a contract for my daughters move from DC to Charleston. He personally promised me that 'I'll take care of her'. Let me tell you what taking care of her means; 1) they called and instead of a Friday move, they were now coming on Sunday. I had to call Steve back and have him review his notes again as I had fully documented that it was to have been a Friday. Only have he checked he noticed he made an error but that they would keep the date, 2) the movers, after knowing the logistics of the street which is a one-way and tight, could note fit the truck (as we told them it would be) and they had to unload on a busy street, dropped several items for which we will have to put in a claim and 'lost' a trunk with all her clothes.3) took them 2 weeks to find it and make arrangements for delivery..but it gets better..told her that she had to drive to meet them to pick it up..why? ..because they couldn't get the truck into Charleston. So she had to drive to pick it up and spent 2 hours of her time because of their mistakes. I would absolutely NOT recommend this company as they failed to live up to their promise of 'taking care of her'.

Moving is always stressful and seems to be a Herculean task. It is a great upheaval in your life. One of the biggest worries in a long distance move is getting your stuff from one state to another in tact. Not only did We Move U accomplish that task they helped put my mind at ease, going over everything before the move, how it would work and what would happen with a specific timeline. They put my mind at ease and got all my belongings to my new home when they said they would. It was a great experience (as great as moving homes can be) and I would recommend them to anyone!

This was my first real big move with a professional moving company. I am a busy professional and needed to find a reputable company that I could trust with my possessions. After reading the reviews, I decided to use We Move U. They did not disappoint. The move could not have gone more perfectly. The crew was professional and did a great job. They disassembled and reassembled my bedroom furniture as well as handled my property with care. They are experts at what they do and it shows. I had a great experience overall.

I just recently moved to Colorado from California to relocate with my job(I know, it's quite a climate change). I was relieved to find We Move U to help me with my first BIG move somewhere new. I looked around at other companies before I went We Move U and I'm sure glad I picked them. The movers were very professional and arrived on time. And when they met up with me in Colorado, all of my belongings were with them and in one piece. They made my move so easy and stress-free for me. I will definitely recommend! If I ever have to relocate again, or if I just feel like a change of scenery, We Move U will be the people I call.

This company conducted a local move for me, and I felt pretty comfortable with them after the initial estimate. Customer service was professional, and they worked with me on delivery dates despite my somewhat rigid schedule.
They were not the cheapest, but were far from the most expensive, offering a great value for a professional service. The move was completed without incident, and It was a big help to not have to move the items myself!
Overall I am pleased with this company and would consider using them again if I need to move in the future.

When it comes to moving, I've always been a do-it-yourselfer. I was hesitant, but those feelings were quickly erased when I met the kind folks at We Move U. I chose this outfit because of their strong reviews and growing, glowing reputation. They handled my livelihood with care and professionalism. East Coast traffic can be a nightmare, but they arrived on time for both the load in and take out--with smiles and willingness to go the extra mile. These people know what they are doing.

I hate moving but We Move U made it as painless as possible. This was the first time I hired a professional company to move me. I'm usually the guy who gets a bunch of friends together with pizza and beer and throws out his back for 2 weeks moving a sofa. That wasn't possible this time as I was moving out of state. So I did my research and We Move U had a great track record and a was affordable. Their pricing was fair, they don't nickel and dime you, and they were pleasant to work with. They showed up on time, were gentle with my belongings, and they arrived on time with all of my stuff in one piece. I highly recommend them if you want to take some of the stress out of moving.

First time using movers, and We Move U exceeded my expectations. They showed up on time, disassembled some furniture, and had things ready quickly. They were also surprisingly diligent and careful with my belongings. The move was quick and painless. All of my belongings arrived in the same condition they were in before the move. Not to mention, the price was reasonable.

If I move again, I'll be using We Move U once again, and I highly recommend them to anyone needing help with moving.

We Move U provided me with a great move. As stressful as moving can be they were able to place my fears at ease, and provide me with dependable, competent movers. We Move U moved my items from Connecticut, USA all the way to Wisconsin, USA. The last time I made a big move, I drove a UHAUL truck on my own and it was not a pleasant experience. This time, moving was a great experience thanks to We Move U. I did not have to worry about damage or making time to sleep. Also, the prices are great especially for the load and distance. The movers were kind and had great manners. They made sure to ask questions about items to make sure they did everything efficiently and safely. I highly recommend this company.

First of all, I'm so glad I decided to go with a moving company. Second of all, I'm even more glad I decided to go with this moving company. I've always moved myself, aside from the times my work paid for my relocation, and every time I ask myself, "WHY?!" Well, because I'm poor and I generally don't trust other people with my stuff. Well fast forward a few years, I have a little more cash and had heard of We Move U from a friend. Best decision ever. No more hoisting couches with my boyfriend down staircases and dissembling bed frames. They handled everything and packed everything swiftly and carefully. All I had to do was watch and occasionally offer them water because I'm a nice person. We had no problem with the logistics and the men were pretty personable as well. Definitely was worth the money and saved me a lot of blood, sweat, and tears.

I was sending a variety of household items from New Jersey to Michigan. Our family was moving - we have two kids - so there was quite a bit we had to move.

I must say, the service was fantastic. Everything was taken care of and the drivers were very friendly and nice. When our items were delivered to our new home in Michigan, they were in perfect condition and they had been well-taken care of. This is unusual in a moving company, I'm afraid.

Long story short: my mother and I moved from Glens Falls to Virginia in June, she used a company called We Move U. The move from NY to NJ went smoothly, the men that moved my mother's household goods were efficient, quick, careful and polite. A NJ warehouse was the point of storage until my mother's house in Va was ready. Upon delivery in Virginia, the man in charge that day was rude and confrontational, demanding cash or a credit card (instead of the check my mother had to pay the balance) and refused to unload her goods until she complied. After an hour of this garbage, the driver took a photo of the bank check and apparently was sanctioned by his boss to accept the payment and unload her things. His concern was that he couldn't cash the check immediately due to it being a holiday weekend -- not mom's problem. They quickly departed with items of hers still on the back of their truck, I saw them but didn't catch them to ask about the items. She subsequently raised a complaint with the company. Their response: we can't be held responsible for the actions of our subcontractors. As we unpacked the crates, we discovered she was missing items: both personal and general household such as ladders, etc. The company's response: provide us with pictures and descriptions of the missing items. So .. take pictures of what is not in front of us, because they are missing items?? Also, a woman in the office that mom spoke with personally guaranteed that she would go to the warehouse to look for her missing crates. Mom tried to comply, sending pictures of the household items along with the prices to replace them. The personal/family things simply had to be "written off". This back and forth with this company dragged on for months. When mom got a comprehensive compilation of the items, all of a sudden she was no longer to correspond with the department she had been in contact all this time -- she had to submit these things to a claims department, who then today we received a letter from (almost a full year later) stating that her claim was denied, but she could appeal it.

Bottom line? This company scammed a 75 yr. old woman out of goods and proper service. They should be held accountable.

Move size: 3 Bedroom Home Service cost: $3700

This movers showed up and demanded $1000 more than quoted.  Nothing was different on my list. They said the furniture looked bigger than described.  Keep in mind I spent a lot of time on the phone describing the furniture and working out an inventory list.  They said it was antique and was bigger than ususal and that I never sent pictures---they never asked for pictutres.  DO NOT USE THEM UNLESS YOU WANT TO EXPERIENCE EXTORTION.  I disputed the down payment with the credit card company.

I had a wonderful experience with my first call.  Denise was lovely.  Then came moving day.  The movers showed up 4 hours after scheduled.  They loaded all of our belongings and then told us the cost would be almost $5000 more - but they would cut us a deal and only charge us another $2200. over what they already quoted and what we paid.  Our stuff was gone so we had no choice.  We rushed to out new home - because they said it could be as little as 24 hours and if we weren't there we would be charged for storage and re-delivery.  14  days later - with no information and no calls back - they showed up.  The move-in guys were nice, but the truck arrived at 9 and the helpers arrived after 11.  As they unloaded, we saw that much of our furniture had been destroyed.  It was like the old Samsonite commercial - where the luggage goes on the conveyor to the back and the big gorilla throws it around.  No care was taken with our belongings.  My couch was slashed - the big screen TV that they packed was shattered.  My Xerox machine was cracked and dented and no loner works.  I cannot even begin to list the damage.  It is disgusting!  Boxes were missing! Mattresses were filthy and stained!  I have never seen anything like it.  Of course, they no longer return my calls and have essentially said it is my problem - offering 60 cents a pound.  This was not an accident or mistake.  There is no question this is recklessness and blatant negligence.  I have contacted a lawyer and will be suing them and I plan to make it as public as possible.  This company betrays trust and will be reported to the Better Business Bureau.
