Stay away from this company!

We started by getting an estimate for the move and setting up a time for everything to be picked up. The day of pickup, the movers they contracted said the estimate they were given by US Movers was way too low and they could not take everything.

When it came time to get my stuff to my new house, the driver called and informed me that I would have an extra surcharge for shuttle service because the truck would not fit on my road. A US Mover representative looked at images of the road around my new house when I initiated the contract and assured me there was plenty of room for the truck. When I called them to dispute this, I ended up with an extra $848 charge for the shuttle in order to get my things back. It was when they started moving my things that I also noticed attention to detail, such as a box clearly marked as fragile being at the bottom of a stack of heavy boxes.

Finally, the actual move ended up destroying my sofa. Despite the driver who delivered my goods himself writing that the couch is unusable due to structural damage, I am getting harassed by the insurance group for more documentation then I was given. Contacting the support staff for filing complaints is also completely useless. When I asked them to clarify one of the questions in their forms, I got back a standard email with no information relevant to my question. I asked again, and their second reply was literally my exact question except with spelling errors.

Working with this company has completely turned me off the idea of hiring movers. After this experience, I will be moving my own goods in the future.

Move size: 3 Bedroom Home Service cost: $4400

I used this company to move from TX to PA and have never had a worse moving experience.

Their quote was barely over half of the final cost.

They damaged goods which would cost at least a thousand dollars to replace.

They will not cover boxes I packed.

Their movers ignored any sort of "Fragile" labels when moving boxes: I saw a box labeled "fragile contains glass" at the bottom of a stack of several boxes.

As soon as we had paid them, they stopped being responsive to any communication at all.

We asked for receipts several times, and were told they would be emailed, but never were.

They said we could pay with a card at delivery, but at the last minute switched to cash-only.

Their representative gave us the wrong number to contact him with.

They used insulting labels for some items in the official move inventory.

We only sought the $0.60/lb. we're entitled to for our damaged items, but they would not even pay that.

Their first offer was less than 25% of what they legally owed us, and the second offer was barely over 30% - I was told this was final.

What they paid will only cover the repair of our least-damaged item.

The last time I moved across the country I did it myself in a U-Haul, and damaged fewer things.

Move size: 3 Bedroom Home Service cost: $4023

This company is the absolute worst. It was a truly a nightmare. We were misled from day one. Unbeknownst to us, our belongings were loaded and unloaded 6 different times before showing up at our new home. We were told that we would have the whole truck for our furniture. That was from Austin to Dallas only. It was unloaded into a warehouse in Dallas and sat there for 10 days waiting for more contracts to fill a semi truck. Conversations with the dispatch, etc fail on deaf ears. They kept saying our belongings would be in Colorado in 5 to 7 days. Then it would change to a few days. This went on and on. When it finally was loaded for Colorado, they told us that they will have to unload the semi in Denver, transfer to small trucks to deliver it to our home in Evergreen. That would be another $1500, please. Once they pulled up and opened up the truck... it looked like a tornado had picked the truck up and tossed it around. There was absolutely no care put into transferring the furniture yet again. The damage that our furniture sustained and breakage in boxes was heartbreaking. The icing on the cake was one of the movers stole airpods from our home. Keep looking for another moving company!! There has to be a better one out there!!

The company I originally contracted with verbally promised delivery in 4-5 business days for a 600 mile trip. They subcontracted with this company who then verbally promised 7-10 business days. I did not see or sign the actual bill of lading contract until AFTER all my belongings were loaded on the truck. It says up to 30 business days. This is day 11. I am nearly 80, sleeping on an air mattress and running out of the two week supply of prescription medication that I packed to carry with me, thinking that to be an adequate amount. This has been a miserable experience. They also left behind a small chest of drawers behind a closet door, so I did not see it until they were gone. It was definitely listed on the original contract.

The movers who picked up our stuff had asked me what date I preferred for delivery arrival date.   I told the moving representative that I would be picking up my apartment key on March 16th 2021, and so the moving rep told me he would annotate on the form the date of 17 March 2021. I acknowledged back to the moving rep “Ok, that sounds good”.  So then I called to check on the status of the delivery date of the moving truck  arrival time and was told by a representative of U.S. Movers, that the date on the form was only the first available date and not the actual date that the movers would be at my apartment with my stuff. The representative went on to tell me that the movers will be arriving within 10 business days of the date I gave the moving representative I originally spoke with during my household goods being packed. This lack of correct information given to me is totally unacceptable and ridiculous. I know have to wait more than a week to receive furniture such as bedding for my 4 year old and myselfno any damage of our furniture. d clothes and furniture to sit on because of this irresponsible act of lack of information dissemination on the part of this company.  This company should properly and professionally inform the  customers clearly know exactly how many days it will take to deliver my stuff rather than have me and my child here waiting on things we absolutely need .And this is a very long time to wait. From the date they pick up our stuffs on March11, like the lady told me 1st Arrive date with in 10days.that's mean I may have to wait 16 days just can get my stuffs arrived, AND WE'RE JUST MOVING FROM AUSTIN TX TO DENVERCO,  THAT'S REDICULOUS!  I am very disappointed in this service and will share my pain and  disappointment with others and make this situation for others to be aware of this company. Well we still didn't receive our stu.fs yet, hopefully no any damages. They have a lots of positive is fake, just take a look their fb, have a lots of positive reviews posted on the same date...and there also have a lot of negative reviews, experience just like my situation now, and more worst.

I really hope I get reimbursed for all the things they BROKE. from start to finish this company is absolutely horrible, so much of my furniture is broken including my daughters! They wouldn’t even take my boxes up a flight of stairs. The movers complained they had worked all day (as if it was my fault ) the driver was rude and gave no communication. They told us they would arrive 10-14 days after the pick up March, then I got a message saying they would drop off my furniture April 13-16 they told me the driver would call me a day or two prior to arrival and he never did. The 16 I called them because I was worried and the customer service was horrendous they didn’t help me at all , I honestly thought I got scammed for my furniture which is even scarier when you have a child. I finally received a call Sunday , he said he’d be here in the afternoon, we had to call him back at 630pm and he said he would be there at 7:20pm and he didn’t get to our home until 9PM on a SUNDAY! The men were rushing to bring everything in and even the movers were surprised with how much furniture was BROKEN. I can’t believe this company is still in business because it seems as though plenty of others have had the same experience . It looked like they just threw my things around the back of their truck. I can keep going with the complaints but clearly I see plenty of others had their things broken by them too, late delivery, rude employees. They do not do anything they promise u. Besides move a bunch of broken things from point a to point b.

They were subcontracted by Trinity Van Lines. When they arrived on the day before our closing in Dallas they said Trinity had missed the estimate by $3,400 due to COVID protocol. We lived in an affluent neighborhood so I am sure they saw opportunity. We spent the next three weeks trying to get a moving date. After claiming they had a 21 day window from our first available date. Two days later we get a call saying the truck was loaded and on the way. We previously told them the community we live in would not allow Sunday moves. Of course they said they would be there Sunday. Finally they agreed to Monday. Only reason I’m giving 2 stars is the crew they sent did a very good job
