My cargo shipment was from Qatar to Kerala. Very satisfied with Universal Relocations shipment services. Thanks to Huzaina (Move Coordinator) and team for their professional approach. Thus giving 5 out of 5 for their overall service which includes careful handling of all my items, providing frequent updates and very responsive on my calls, emails, WhatsApp etc. Provided GPS tracker, which was very helpful and comfortable to track the location of vehicle. All items reached my home without any damage. I expect delay in service and more formalities in customs during this Covid time, but to my surprise without any issue everything was clear. I already referred Universal Relocations to my friends in Qatar. Thank you and best wishes for the whole team.

Though the entire team of UR worked hard and I appreciate everyone’s hard work, but I want to mention speCially Saurabh (NJ) and Sandhya (India). I handed over my stuff to UR on 19-dec-2020 in CT and it reached my home town in India on 03-Apr-2021. I am very glad to mention that my package had zero damage. The glassware came through intact as i packed them. I was constantly in touch with the above mentioned people and they were very supportive all the while.

Move size: Partial Move Service cost: $1250

The worst company ever. It was our worst nightmare. They are frauds don't use them. They will mentally harass you !! The sales executive Saurabh confirmed a price of $5,500 based on the details of items to be shipped provided and confirmation that all fragile items such as glass etc. will be packed by their team. On the day of shipment a team of two showed up and they refused to first pack the fragile items. After continuous back and forth with Saurabh we had to do it on our own without any reduction in price. The team worked the entire day and did not complete packing which should hav been done. They eventually took 3 days to complete the packing and leave the premise causing great difficulty and inconvenience. On the second day besides providing the complete list of items without any changes to inventory the team intentionally brought a smaller size truck and after loading half of the inventory locked the truck threatening us to either make additional payments or they will seize the inventory loaded. After hrs of discussion we agreed to pay the additional money which was now double the initial price. We had to agree as to vacate the house ASAP (as it was sold) and half of our stuff was in their possession. On top of that they initially had agreed to a security deposit and the final payment on delivery similar to all transport companies such VAn etc. However, now Saurabh's boss Madhur demanded full payments of $10,500 upfront. After long discussion with Madhur and his boss, the owner, Mr. Sai, they agreed to let us keep only 10% i.e. make 90% of payment upfront with all of our stuff with them. All this is after they had a complete list of inventory and as a "professional" transport company should have a close estimate of the weight and not under contract by 50% initially which is a clear fraud and malpractice. Now the team absconded and we had to give them multiple calls to confirm the arrival date in CA. In the meanwhile we had to purchase clothes, bedding , kitchenware etc, to survive during the delay. Once the items arrived there was extreme damage and insurance covered half

Used their services in 2018 when I moved from Atlanta to Mumbai. Without a doubt, the worst people I have ever dealt with. The amount of stress and uncertainty that I had to deal with was unimaginable. things that you can expect from them:

1.No clarity on charges upfront. The final bill they will give will be higher by 25-50% from the estimate. Amazingly, the estimate is given after their verification of goods, so how can they claim that the volume is higher than their estimate. Do they expect that the customer would know the volume at the start? if that's the expectation, why would we ask them to come and verify the amount of stuff we had and provide a quotation accordingly? However, you can't fight or do anything with them once they have taken the goods as you are at their mercy (the volume is confirmed by them a couple of days after they have taken your goods). They will directly blackmail you that goods will not be given to you if you don't pay the full money upfront.

2.Be aware of dealing with these three people specifically: Sai Dattani, Geetha Rajaram/Singh, and Pallavi. I dealt with them and got the experience of a lifetime (rhetoric). They knew that I have a 1.5-year-old and a pregnant wife and used this to psychologically create pressure at every step. They will promise the world to you, but true colors will come out once they have packed an taken your goods to their warehouse (as you will be helpless after that)

3.The India team who handles the clearance of goods also loves sending the bills. I included all costs that I was required to pay (barring a few very small ones) in my initial quote from the US team, but the India team kept sending me bills for payment for things that were already included in the bill that I had already paid to the US entity. I had to send multiple emails and call multiple people so many times to get the same waived. The US entity will not help you in this. You are on your own

4. Delivery was late by a month even compared to their max estimate provided to me.

5.Most of my furniture was damaged. They do not provide any support in insurance claim and you are on your own. Infact they dont want you to claim insurance as their higher claim will increase their future insurance premium. At the start of the packing, you need to

6.They generally put very little stuff in boxes quoting that the boxes cannot hold more. This is very untrue and done so that you end up using more boxes and pay more in terms of space(in shipping, the charge is not based on weight but space occupied). So even if u hire them, make sure that you don't allow their packaging professionals to get your billings increased by using this loophole. My first advice would be to not hire them

7.The people who come to deliver and unpack your goods are so petty that they will force you to give them back all boxes and packaging material. They kept on saying that I am supposed to return it and this is a general norm. I told them that the bill specifically charges me packaging charges, so why should I return this, but in the interest of getting everything properly unpacked and set up, I had to give up. Afterward, I came to know that the people who come sell those boxes to local Bhangarwala and put the money into their own pockets.

There are a lot many other things which I am avoiding to mention here (cant keep writing).

I moved from NJ to Delhi and with several questions to begin with My initial move destination and dates nothing was confirmed. The Sales Director did a fantastic job handling all my concerns , packing , storage, insurance , duty , clearance and made arrangements according to my convenience. Unlike other providers you can feel someone is really at work for you. Until the delivery was complete the entire team was so well connected. I am very happy and will definitely awail their services in future.

They are an end to end relocation service and a must try for everyone. Highly recommended.

I must say I am extremely happy with the service, even though it took 150 days which was a bit longer than expected, and even mentioned on the website. But due to the pandemic and various holidays thereafter, I cant complain too much.I was really skeptical about shipping items this way as I had never done so in the past and always thought my only option was flight or container,

But the follow-up and follow-through were exceptional and the door-to-door service was just so convenient. All my items came intact with only one small thing which broke during transport, which was my fault in how I packed it,

I sent a package from US to India during Jul20 and was following up weekly to see what is the status. After 6months, i received an update saying package is lost. I am not sure how they can respond such a way after a long time. Finally i got a notice saying claim is filed with Fedex and will recieve an update soon. Still same, no updates for 2months. Last update says- Fedex rejected the claim and refiled. Its almost 2 months, no response.

Sincere request to everyone - Please do a complete background check before using this company.

Ultimately, if i didn't receive an update within a week i am going to file a case against the company for all these frustrations and unprofessional business.

I had the best experience with Universal Relocations! During the Covid crises in India when there was a severe oxygen shortage, the company rose to the occasion to facilitate shipping oxygen concentrators to India. At the onset, any business which works “to give” I would trust!

But it didn’t just end there. My conversations with Sai Dattani, Pallvi, Huzaina- they were all super helpful and kind. They were responsive and that part of the experience was also very good. But the main business was a seamless move of the concentrators and that’s where they delivered even more than they promised. There were no issues at customs, the delivery was handed over a day before promised and through the entire process Huzaina emailed to keep me updated. My experience was excellent with them in every way!
