I got to know about universal locations from my friend. I spoke to Venkat and he provided me an estimate and explained the process. After finalizing the deal it was hassle free experience for me. Universal Relocations took care of my shipment items very nicely frompickup (US house) to deliver(Bangalore).

Everybody was helpful and explaining the process of an international move. Completely hassle free move. Made is easy for me to sit back and relax. The container was loaded with expert movers and was able to get regular weekly updates of my shipment and when the shipment arrived in India, all the paperwork and customs was handled by an experienced person Mr. Anup who then got my shipment upto my doorstep with ease. Will definitely recommend Universal locations to anyone who is interested in moving domestically or overseas. Everyone was knowledgeable and eager to assist every step of the way. I had sent two boxes from Arizona to Pune. I would like to Thank Pallavi, who helped in sending these two boxes from the United States.Then all the very Thanks to Shyamala for the follow up in India and Custom clearance and finally thanks to dear Huzaina who was in complete follow up till my parcel reached Pune. Thanks to all the ladies with the beautiful heart who took the responsibility of my parcel.I have no words because my daughters were so happy after seeing the beautiful clothes that I sent them. I had them move 6 boxes from Dallas to Pune. The service was excellent overall. I received phone calls and emails that provided me updates on where my shipment was almost every week and even through the COVID situation. The packages were received safe and sound. Really appreciate their service through and through. Also wanted to appreciate Huzaina, as she handled all the communication with me once I had come to India and her excellent coordination ensured that the boxes got delivered to my door even during this time of COVID restrictions. The boxes were sanitized before they reached us. Thanks for the great service that was given. Felt that I got value for every penny I spent.

Even in the case of such Covid-19 lock-down in India they delivered shipment with as small as possible delay. I would recommend this service to anyone who wants hassle free deliver to destination. No hidden charges only charges you need to pay for the port charges and sanitizing charges. in India.

We had contacted UR on April, 2020 for the movement of 9 boxes from Columbus OH to Kolkata. They had provided all the instructions in details. Venkat from the USA team had provided all the information and the labels for the shipment of the boxes through FedEx from our apartment to UR Warehouse in USA. They had provided the timeline of 3 months for the boxes to reach India, and even during the Covid-19 pandemic they were able to deliver. Once the packages reached India, Mothish was the point of contact. He had provided all the updates and the tracking information. We received the boxes within 2 weeks of time. Customs were done quickly. UR and Mothish went out of the way to deliver the boxes when the state of West Bengal was not allowing trucks from outside the state to enter the city. They had arranged local small trucks to deliver the package and in a very reasonable rate too. The delivery guys were very punctual and well mannered. They helped us to unload the boxes. I am not sure about the negative reviews, but we did not face even a single issue with this company. All of our items were received properly, no broken items (we had glass items), no damages, no missing items, no issues at all. I would recommend UR to anyone who is moving back to Kolkata.

Shipped 2 shipments of 5 boxes and 2 boxes of household items from Milwaukee, WI to Villupuram, TN. I was initially skeptical about the service after reading reviews that their service is not so great in India side but was only proved wrong later.

Overall they are very responsive to emails and replied back to my questions immediately. In the US side, after signing/scanning waiver forms, they arranged FedEx pickup from my apt on the requested date. I had to reschedule the pickup for my second shipment and they did it quickly.

Once the FedEx delivered the boxes to Universal Relocations's warehouse in NJ, the boxes remained there till they get loaded in the container. My first shipment was loaded in 3 weeks and my second shipment was loaded in a week. Once the containers were loaded, they sent tracking info of the container and also sent emails every week updating the current status of the shipment.

In India side, the boxes remained at the Chennai Port for about 3 weeks and was charged rs 5800 for 5 boxes for port clearance. The boxes were then taken to their warehouse in Tamil Nadu and after about a week and half, the boxes were loaded in their own truck and was provided with tracking info. I was able to track the current gps location of the truck till it reached my home. The delivery guys were professional as well. It took less than 4 months to get my first shipment.

I am still waiting on my second shipment but I am sure I will get it without any hassle.

I used this company for my move from Sunnyvale, CA to Bangalore, India. They did a great job! I decided to go with them at the last minute but they made it work and handled the process extremely efficiently. Despite delays due to COVID-19, they managed the situation well and provided regular updates and prompt responses to e-mails. All my boxes arrived in perfect condition.

In short, I'm extremely satisfied with the quality of service and efficiency!
