I moved from US to india. I used Universal relocation to move most of my belongings . Right from the beginning experience was warm & professional. Deepak the sales guy helped me during initial stage till pickup & delivery was handled by professionals. The process was very transparent & kept me informed about the shipment till delivery. Their tracking system really helped me to plan.

I used universal relocation for movement of my goods from US to India. Because of covid situation I had to leave before the goods were moved from my place in US. Venkat from Universal relocation whom I only spoke over the phone took care that the goods are moved in time. He was very much responsive over the emails and what I appreciated of him was he never overcommitted, but goods moved in time as promised. On top, the volume judgment was also accurate, just by sharing pictures and I did not have to overpay too much. I was notified at each step from Shipment pick up to loading on boat. My shipment was handled at chennai and I had to send my passport from Pune to Chennai as shipment arrived. The process was smooth through bluedart and I had no worries. The shipment was handled by Huzaina and team. customs clerance took little more time than expected. But again it was handled very well by Huzaina and team. Eventually material was delivered within 120 days and not a single thing missed/broken/damaged.(Including bicycle).Overall their processes look to be impeccable( especially considering my shipment was part container load ). I would recommend Universal for the shipment from US to India.

Shipped 10+ boxes. Took more than usual time (4+ months), which is definitely frustrating . Well co-ordination from Chennai Team (Huzaina) is exception. Also senior leadership (Mahdu) is very helpful.

Smooth and transparent process from start to end. Universal team had kept me informed on all stages regarding consignment. Thanks Huzaina for the regular updates! Inspection team at Chennai (Mr.Kamal) was also very helpful on the day of customs inspection process. He even arranged for lunch at the port as the process was delayed. Received the goods in good condition at Chennai (though there were few delays). Will definitely recommend Universal's service to my friends!! Overall a very good experience! Thanks.

Khushali/Huzaina/Sandhya , these three persons coordinated my move and were available to discuss small and big things during 3 months period.

Khushali - She initiated the move and everything was so nice and she was answering everything to me without getting irrittaed.

Huzaina - She was awesome , i must have spoken to her so many times and she was so sweet in helping me everytime. Infact she fast tracked the parcel from Delhi to Lucknow else i would have waited for 2-3 more weeks and by then my winter clothes which were coming from US would have been waste.

Sandhya - She gave me continuous updates from Chennai departure to delhi and was updating me on daily basis.

I heard so many bad reviews in Facebook and i was so upset and worried if i will even get my shipment in one piece but when i received the boxes on 8th Dec, i was amazed. They all are intact. Honestly out of 9 boxes, i have opened only 2 and they are fine but not sure what will be the status of 7 boxes. So if all comes good then its awesone else my feed back will be changed in terms of handling the stuff but still my feedback for the 3 ladies will remain the same.

Overall only one issue i have to report, I sent 9 boxes and it was agreed to pay 800 USD but when it reached Chennai i was asked to pay 100 USD more. Unfortunately there was no email trail for paying 800 USD only so i felt a bit taken here and learnt that everything should be in the email and any discussions on phone should not be treated as final unless its in email otherwise we may be asked for more fees and we cannot even prove that it was not the case. But overall it was amazing and I will be even writing the feedback in facebook too.

What a great international relocation experience!! All the items including the delicate ones and glass items did not have a single crack. Nothing is damaged and lost. The pandemic related lockdown made the move quite hard for all the parties involved but Universal tried their best to satisfy their clients' needs. The only negative experience that I had was gap in communication and charging way too high for handling, sanitization and repacking. I had only 3-4 boxes to repack after custom inspection. All the best to Universal Relocation.

I am really impressed with the level of service provided by universal relocations, specially my moving Agent Huzaina Bee, she was very supportive throughout the delivery and even went out of way to get my package delivered 2 days early, Would give 10/10 for her efforts. Also Team that pickup my package was very professional and supportive and provide all information upfront about the cost and I was charged exactly same amount, No hidden charges just like they advertise. I also received a status mail every week informing me about the current location of Ship that is holding my package. It made life easy as I never had to call and check on status or worried about the delays. Would definitely recommend universal relocations for international/domestics shipments.

We engaged Universal Relocations for moving house hold articles from (Coimbatore)India to USA.

Priya from Chennai Office, took all the details over the phone and arranged the required paper work and moved the consignment from Coimbatore to Chennai warehouse.

Priya was very helpful in keeping us posted as to what is going on. Once the consignment reached US port, Priya informed us and introduced the NJ office personnels for further follow up action from our side. Yes there was some delay in delivery due to Pandemics. But on the whole we have nothing to complain as consignment arrived in tact.

The credit goes to Priya who took care of the packing at Chennai. We have no hesitation in engaging them again for the future needs.

As part of my relocation from USA to INDIA, On August 2020, Universal Relocations own pickup crew based in Atlanta came to my home in South Atlanta, did complete packing and pickup. I was an Audio engineer in USA and I was having a huge collection of high end audiophile audio equipment's like speakers, amplifier etc. When I decided to relocate an year ago, made a research and found universal was one of the affordable and best Door To Door service. And I called Atlanta universal office guys and Mrs. Khushali explained me basics of shipping process and an approx cost. This gave me a confident to ship the devices instead of sell in US itself. I got all my stuff delivered to my home here in Kerala on Jan-2021

The First thing that impressed me was the team who came to pickup from my USA home looked Universal team itself and the truck they used was low floor and was having universal badge. They carefully packed all stuff.

Caution: For big electronic devices ,(except TV) if you have original manufacturer boxes and packings, please pack it in advance. Please don't wait for the universal team. This will help u pack items slowly and carefully as per manufacturer recommended way.

Make sure to keep item list box wise for your future reference.

and documentation and get all things cleared smoothly.

Caution: Please keep original invoice of all the electronics you ship and give detailed breakup for clearance.

Though I forgot names of the truck driver and helping guys in the delivery truck, they showed excellent professional behavior and fully cooperated with me in delivery schedule and placing the boxes safely in my home.

I am so happy and thankful to Universal relocations team for making this entire relocation shipping process smooth and worriless.

Based on my experience with my shipping from Atlanta to Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala I will say Universal relocations is well very very trustable, very much caring for the items they handle, well organized, great customer care, professional in every stage, door to door relocation shipping company for sure.

I recently relocated from USA to India. I wanted to move my extra baggage such as some expensive kitchen utensils, Crockery, Toys and some photo frames through cost effective means.

I did considered multiple quotes and finally decided to go ahead with Universal Relocation.

To begin with sales person was very helpful explaining different available options. I decided to go ahead with individual boxes.

Once payment was done boxes were picked up by fedex next day, and dispatched to NJ.

I received periodic updates from my move coordinator Huzzaina regarding status of my boxes.

It took around 3 months for door to door delivery. Since I packed boxes I did not opt for insurance.

I received Everything in pretty good condition except couple of broken oxo boxes due to weight.

I will highly recommend if you are looking to send your extra baggage through sea instead of carrying along with you in flight.

This was my second time using Universal, the first was a local movement whereas this time I was moving household goods for a family of 4 to Delhi, India from Jersey City, NJ. My experience right from the stage of price estimate to the final delivery this week in India has been perfect. They have beaten by skepticism at every step by delivering as promised. My stuff reached Delhi after having travelled inland from Chennai. It took slightly over 3 months but this is at a time when shipping schedules globally are all over the place due to covid. The best part is that you get regular updates (every Friday) even while your goods are in transit and of course interim updates at every process step (dispatch, reaching destination port, Custom clearance etc). I believe these timely updates make a world of difference to the customer experience. My goods including a TV (a 55inch curved, not packed in manufacturer's box but a Home depot box and put into a crate) mattresses and boxes carrying fragile items as well reached in perfect condition.

My sincere most thanks to the team including Pallavi, Huzaina, Sandhya, Saravanan, Sinthuja for their high standards of prompt service delivery at every stage. Needless to say I will chose Universal Relocations a third time as well whenever needed.

I sent just one box from Rochester, NY to be delivered at my home in Bhadrak, Odisha only to determine how the service is. I am truly impressed that the service is so seamless and the box arrived at my home today. Balaji at NY took care of all the paper work and patiently answered all my worries.

The pick up from my home in Rochester was without any hitch. Ms. Huzaina Bee kept updating the status of the vessel every week.That may seem a bit frequent, but, in reality, gave a feeling of confidence that things were moving. Mr. Venkatesa Mothish took care of the movement inside India. I am now so impressed that I am preparing a second box to ship soon. The entire team deserves kudos.

The only improvement I can think of suggesting is that the total cost should be made clear at the outset or what kind of costs may arise in the process should be made clear in the beginning so that a customer does not feel surprised later. I am sure that nobody would mind paying the costs involved when the service is good! Thank you for your service.

Universal Relocations are very professional and great shipping service providers. From the time I booked the shipment to India till my packages reached the destination, they have been very helpful. They send weekly / periodic emails regarding the status of the shipment which is very handy. I did not have to follow up on any issues since their customer service is amazing and they were in touch with me during the entire course of the shipment.

I opted for Universal Relocation to move my TV, Home Theater and household items as many of my friends used their services in past and they had no complaints.

I am very happy with services of Universal, my shipment was delivered in timely manner without any damage. I was initially concerned as my home theater was brand new and expensive but everything was delivered without any damage.

There was slight delay in delivery after customs clearance but Huzaina helped a lot during the tome and updated status in timely manner.

I would still appreciate if US team could assist better in determining approx. custom duty amount while confirming the booking.
