I really needs a last minute company for a last minute divorce, they got her there today now she's not my problem. I didn't want to make sure the belongings got there safe! For the simple fact I paid for them all over the years.. I got 6 quotes online and united movers group had the best reputation plus one of the only ones that are not a broker. And trust me I've seen their new top of the line trucks.. once I seen them on pickup I felt a lot more relieve. The money's are so professional and pack the furniture so good. Thanks united lovers group!!

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $3475

United movers group did suck a good job!! After reading terrible things online about moving I was really scared,, even almost did the move myself. It was such a big job though. I can't explain how nervous I was. United reassured me. Cliff walked me through the quoting process. The day of the move the movers showed up and were very kind and professional!! United wrapped all my furniture and loaded me up and got me to my new home and set me all up. Cliff thanks so much for helping me and making this stress free!!

I had a very long move ahead of me and so we planned a few months back just to make sure we had this portion taken care of. I spoke with my agent Eric and he was very persistant on contacting me and making sure we took care of this early which I am grateful for now that it is over. The movers got to the house and were extremly nice and polite and I even offered to buy them lunch but they respectfully declined. Between doing all of the paperwork and loading it was a all day affair but once we headed out we were suprised to hear the movers were arriving only 2 days after us which worked out perfect. They loaded everything in our new home and put everything room by room as agreed. I can say this company has been great to me and my family and would like to thank them so very much.

First, read all the negative reviews. As I read them I feel as if I'm reading the message I'm wanting to portray for this dismal company.
Using this group has single handedly been the worst decision of my life.

First, as others have stated, they'll show up and let you know your quote is completely worthless (and they certainly know you're in a time crunch trying to move). In our situation, they stated we had far more cubic ft then accounted for in our quote (not our fault, nothing changed in our situation, nothing more than a bait a switch). It went from $8k to $14K!! If it happens to you, fight it, they'll go back down.

From my understanding, this is pretty normal w/ this industry. However, it's very important to know they don't bring their own employees for the crew to move you. They literally hire people looking for side work. Guess what..these aren't the type of people you'd like handling your stuff in case you hadn't already figured that out.

In our situation, we had such a great guy named Wade and his wife Vicky. Oh what a pair (of crooks). Wade will (without exaggeration) tell you how "professional" his crew is. And he'll remind you that they're "very professional" every time you walk by him. He's an extremely annoying and unprofessional man in every sense of the word. It seriously gets to the point you want to throw up hearing him speak. Repeatedly he'll say "we move generals and CIA agents and government officials" (in an odd eastern European accent none the less). It's nothing less than the worst pitch you'll ever hear..but as Wade says "VERY PROFESSIONAL"..

So Wade will then hire some crappy workers who he says have worked for him for years (no worries, there's not track record of these people, no names, info, etc..you're things are perfectly safe).

For us, they stole our electronics box (Xbox, Sonos Speakers, Playstation, Wii, all games associated (0ver 30ish) and our cable provider boxes).

The above is nothing in comparison to the safe / lock box we had stolen by his "crew". Nothing in that box other than our children's social security, ours as well, whole family's passports, marriage license etc has tremendous value. It's simply a theft that's causing major heartache and cost us near $1K in Life Lock protection.

I don't just dislike this company and Wade and crew. I loathe them. We've opened federal cases against them, and my hope is there's jail time.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. And if Wade shows up, lock all of your doors and call the police. Nothing more than a thief in movers clothing.

P.S. - I had my neighbor stop by while the crew was working and busted them smoking pot inside my house..very "professional".

I have never moved before this time. In the beginning I wish I never put my name on this site that got me all these calls that would start at 6 a.m. I took a few quotes one of them being from this company. The other three companies would call me everyday asking me if I had questions which was quite frustrating and annoying. They were not the cheapest company but seemed the most thorough. I decided to go with them. They came to my house at 10 a.m. On the dot which is when they said they would be. They boxed up all my t.v.s and glass tops which I didn't know you had to do. They told me I had a little bit more than estimated but not to worry about it. I have recommended them to my whole company who is relocating to Houston.

I just had a excellent experience using this company United Movers Group. They helped me when I was in a tough situation. My father just passed away and it was very sudden so we had to move everything from his estate last minute which put us in a very tight spot especially with everything else going on this was the last thing I wanted to deal with. I requested some information online and I received a call from a young man named Eric Scott. He was very helpful in explaining how everything was done and how they were going to charge us. I had a lot going on so he was very patient with me and did not put any pressure on us at all. They did not come in as the lowest quote but looking up their reviews and credentials I felt more comfortable paying a few hundred more for the security. I am glad I did because from the start everything was handled extremely professional and the driver and workers that came out were very polite and did a great job. This company helps us out when we were going through a rough time and I can not thank you guys enough and thank you Eric as we'll for explaining everything thoroughly and guiding us through the process. If you are shopping around then make sure you get a quote from these guys and see if they can help you the same way they helped my family.

I recently moved due to a family member being ill. With all the extra stress taking care of them I just couldn't coordinate a move. I corresponded with my representive via email for everything, including inventory. Everything was exactly how was described to me and my estimate was accurate reflecting my inventory. I am so thankful they took the time out of their day to write me countless emails and reassure me all along the way. Will always use this company for all future moves.

I recently used United Movers to move from VA to WI. THIS WAS ONE OF THE WORST EXPERIENCES OF MY LIFE. The sales person (Garret) promised the best level of customer service, but, once the order was finalized he was unreachable. I was cornered in a situation where I ultimately had to pay around $6,500 OVER THE initial QUOTED PRICE.


The sales person, in spite of my request, pushed for doing an online quote by saying that United Movers has world class software and by entering in the dimensions, he will be able to provide me with a near accurate quote. I repeatedly emphasized that I have heavy wood furniture. I was told that my rate would unnecessarily go up if someone visits to give a quote versus using the software.


On the day of the move, when most of my stuff was in and packed up or outside the truck, I was told that it would cost me $6,500 above the quoted price. It was, of course, my fault that my stuff was heavy and that the sales person had misquoted. The lady from finance (Jenny Reid) was utterly disrespectful. The deal was to pay 33% a day before the movers arrive (using credit card), 33% at the time of the move (via personal check) and remaining cash at the time of delivery. The moving supervisor (Randy Paulino) asked me to give him a check written out to “Superior Moving Systems” and not United Movers. Later, I found out that this was his last employer!


Jenny called me the day after the move and said that she was providing me a 48 hour notice to arrange for the entire amount to be paid in the form of a postal order and only then will my stuff be delivered. I was told that my credit card was not swiped and my check will not be deposited. I spoke with her manager (Joseph) who was even ruder. He said that “he wants payment in a form that you cannot stop”, he wanted me to empathize with the fact that how inconvenient it gets for him when people stop the payment, requiring him to then go through the hassle of court. It was so obvious that the staff at United Movers understood the suffering and inconvenience they had caused me and how bad they treated me every step of the way. Their fear of my stopping the payment was so high that they continued to harass me to the very end. Please do yourself a favor by not using United Movers.

This company is the poster boy for a bait and switch operation. Do not use them. They will under quote your moving cost to get you pulled in then the price will go up at least two times.
Their insurance for damage to your belongings is a joke and that is if they will even call you back about your claim.
They are moving brokers and do not own there own trucks.
There is a good chance some of your stuff will be lost and a better chance some of it will arrive damaged.
I am looking for people ripped of by this company as there is a group of us forming to try and expose these people for what they really are.
