Transit Systems was a great company to work with. They were able to give me a good price and a guaranteed delivery date even on a Saturday. However, one of the carriers along the way lost a portion of my shipment which caused only a portion to be delivered on the date. Transit Systems rep was very helpful, located the boxes, and got them delivered to me the next business day. They then refunded me a portion of the charge. I was very satisfied.
I would encourage anyone who uses this company or others to pack your items properly! I was amazed how much abuse the boxes get on a long-distance move but all my belongings were fine due to good boxes, extra tape, and plenty of packing materials. .

The only reason we hired this company was to move a piano that once belonged to my wife's grandmother. We kept talking to them by phone to make sure they would take care of this item. The owner of the company assured my mother in law several times they were professional piano movers. So my mother in law hired them to move the piano and about 11 other light weight but bulky items. They did not show up on time and we had to continually call them to find out when they would be here. They arrived several hours late and drove up in a u-haul. Two guys moved the piano out of the house in the rain without wrapping it.. That in it's self wasn't a large issue but I did expect them to wrap the piano when they got it in the truck. It appears they did not. When the piano arrived the face board (under the key board) had deep scratches approximately 15 inches long. The part that hold the music was ripped off completely and the bench had large chunks taken out of it where something was banging on it the entire time it was in the truck. If the other 11 pieces were completely destroyed but the piano was undamaged we would have been fine. The piano is why we hired them and it was badly damaged. The estimate to have it repaired was $1200.00 and the bench will probably have to be replaced. We contacted the company who said we needed to contact the 2nd company they hired to move the items. That company would only give $300.00 for the repair. When my mother in law tried to speak with the owner of the company like she did before the move he was always too busy and would not call her back. I would NOT use this company again and I hope no one ever gets sucked into their, "Piano Experts" sales pitch again!

I was extremely happy with TSI from start to finish. First of all, they really came through for us when we needed a last minute move when no one else could help. Their quote was accurate, their charges were straight forward (and the total amount didn't change during the whole shipment), their drivers and loaders were professional, and their communication was excellent. The one small damage we had (which I think is inevitable in a cross country move) was paid for right away. I was extremely pleased with the communication throughout the whole process. The representative stayed in touch with me and let me know where the truck was and exactly when it would arrive. The drivers and loaders (and unloaders) were some of the most professional I have met - very respectful of my things and my house. I'll definitely use TSI again and will recommend them to others.

I found this company on the internet and was not sure if I should use them but they were fast with a quote and answered all my questions. 
I shipped a large queen size four poster bed from Mamaroneck, NY to Yarmourhport, MA.
Have to say that I would definitely use this company again.  Kept me updated on the whole move especially after the pick up.  The two young men who drove the truck and unloaded were very friendly and did a great job.  The bed was all wrapped and padded and the boys were quick to get everything out of the truck and placed where I wanted it placed.

They were really terrific. On time, kind, fast and communicative. I was concerned because this was a partial load and since it would be shipped with other loads, things can go wrong or be late.
Both pick-up and delivery were right as scheduled, and staff  (on phone as well as on site) was efficient and yet also polite and respectful.
Both they and I didn't realize that one piece of furniture didn't get delivered (my bad, I was so excited that I didn't inventory the delivery list) but I called, they found the piece and delivered it a few days later. This was my second time using TransitSystems and I will definitely use them to complete this move.

When picked up the driver was excellent! On time and very polite! Delivery went very well! I would use this company again and recommend them to friends as well. My items arrived and no damage at all. The driver that made the delivery at the other end of this shipment was fine. I was amazed at how smooth the entire process was.  The cost was acceptable and service from the first phone call to the last was handled in a very professional manor. The girls in the office answered all of my questions without hesitation. This was my first time with transit systems and it could not have been easier. Thank you, B. Constuble

I was very happy I chose this company to move our grandfather clock and some antique paintings from NY to our son in Seattle. I found them online, and called to see what was what. The fellow asked me about the items, and approximate weight, and then gave me a very reasonable estimate to move the things. He told me the timeframe, and how the process works, which was very simple, notifications at each end and confirmation of pickup and delivery. He also said it was dependent on weight, so the price might change a little once they arrived. I had estimated the weight and rounded up, just in case. They didn't need to adjust my price at all. The fellows came exactly on time, packed up everything very professionally, even made a wood box for the clock. They took off, and had agreed not to deliver until after a certain date when our son's wife was due to have a baby. It all worked out great. They called after that date, delivered everything in perfect condition, unpacked, and took off. We were all very pleased with the whole process. I have to admit I was a little nervous at first, not knowing the company, but I was so happy in the end. Thank you very much!
