On the positive side, TikTok's price was by far the lowest bid I received and the move from NYC to RI was done in a day, between 9 AM and 5 PM. I also liked the three guys who did the move; they were sweet, respectful, helpful. On the negative side, although I had emailed Ricky the exact dimensions of the ten large pieces of furniture to be moved, the movers showed up with only 7 blankets--not nearly enough to fully cover my large, beautiful, solid cherry desk, two large cherry bookcases, a large antique sideboard, an old oak bookshelf, and an oak file cabinet. The four large pine bookcases got taped together back to back and transported without any blankets. Not surprisingly, the top of the cherry desk (which had been in perfect condition) was scratched and nicked in numerous places. In addition to not having enough blankets, the guys really struggled to handle the weight of the heaviest, solid wood pieces, which they obviously had not expected despite my having told Ricky that there were several very heavy pieces. I don't know if Ricky had stronger men he could have sent, but that certainly would have helped.

I must say that I was pleased with my move on Sept 29th. The movers were very helpful and went the extra mile to make my first home ownership move a success. I must say it was worth the risk. I found your moving site upon surfing the web looking for a moving company. I found 3 others, 2 of which promised to return my call and one which placed me on hold for a considerable length of time. I called Tik Tok and spoke with a very professional customer service Rep. who took his time in explaining and arranging for this move. Keep up the Good Work Tik Tok!!
