This company is ONE big scam! Do not use them! They will give you an estimate with out coming to your home - They will ask you to complete an itemized list of the items in your home. They will then sell your contract to a 3rd party Shipper (D United Logistics; look up this company reviews you will freak out) with out telling you who they are in business with. They lie and tell you a reputable company will be the shipper, and day of it will be the scam company D United Logistics. It is now 1.5 years later and I do not have all of my furniture. Tierney refuses to help with the process, and taking no accountability for all of the lost assets. Eddie Gates is the manager who refused to talk to me and will push me off to his colleague Jessie James. Everyone is helpful and friendly in the early stage, but will turn on you once they've received your money. It all starts with Tierney the brokers who sell your contract to random 3rd parties, who all scam you and steal your money and furniture!!

SUCH A GREAT EXPERIENCE I would rate 10/10 movers were so nice and very caring for my home goods. I booked this move at first I was a little unsure but the manager reassured me my items would be safe and secure and the move would go extremely well and IT DID JUST THAT!! the move took a total of 5 days they kept in contact with me every day that is what I loved most about this move everyone was on the same page and very informative if you are planning on moving this is the perfect company for you hassle and worry free!

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $300

This is a claim for damage caused to all furniture and items that were given to your Company to move them from Pembroke Pines, FL. to Payson, Utah, according to the inventory sheets that relate 118 items marked as Lot1101537with RED tape. when the move arrived in UTAH it did not succeed neither red tape nor was it the same truck that collect all items in Florida on October 29 2020.

Total of items with damaged are: 8 (eight) as is in the inventory list lines:

-line #39, card with broken handle (pg picture 11/15)

-line#43 coffee table beaten and broken the corners of the top (pg picture 10/15)

-line #67 end table hits and damages in the corners (pg picture 3/15)

-line #82 hit damage the base of the Dining table.(pg picture 5,8/15)

-line#88 totally broken and destroyed a floor lamp.(pg picture 6/15)

-line #96 desk broken and drilled the top. (pg picture 4/15)

-line #116 floor light lamp hit in base. (pg picture 7/15)

-line #117, trash can break on base.(pg pictures 9,12/15)

NOTE: none of the furniture they disarmed in Florida were reassembled at Utah's final destination as was the commitment and part of the contract.

The first time I heard of Tierney Van Lines was from a colleague in my office who used them and had no issues. I checked on their website and they came up okay. I went to different companies and got quotes. One of the companies came very low so I was about to go with them, but then I talked to Tierney Van Lines and they came up with a good price. But things changed. They quoted me very reasonably. The movers were professional and highly experienced. They know how to handle the situation. All my belongings arrived safely.

My wife and I had been working really hard for the bigger house with more space for or kids. Finally, when we got it, it was time to scramble for a quick move. It was no surprise that we hired Tierney Van Lines. They are the absolute best in this business. They provided us the easiest move. I practically had to do nothing and these men took care of everything. The crew of 3 men arrived right on time and they were very well prepared. They packed up all my belongings very quickly. I was very impressed seeing how efficient and organized they were. These movers are possibly the best that you will get in this business. They made the delivery on time and none of my valuables was broken and damaged. I wouldn’t even hesitate to hire them again.

I compared a bunch of local moving companies online and ended up going with Tierney Van Lines. The estimate they gave me wasn't the cheapest one but they came to my house to do the estimate and after the last moving experience I had two years ago with also a local company (I ended up paying almost double than what I got quoted for) I decided not to go with the lowest estimate, and was absolutely impressed. The lady on the phone had those fun-sounding friendly attitudes that made me feel good about booking with them, and then the movers were very friendly, efficient, careful and professional. They even called to ask if I wanted them to come early - awesome! The whole experience was easy and seamless, I paid maybe $40 more than what they quoted me and they did a great job. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and use them next time.

When you hire a low-cost moving company like Tierney Van Lines, mishaps and chaos are a given. I hired them because I couldn’t afford the fancy ones, closed my eyes and expected the worst. But, to my utter surprise, they were outstandingly good. The movers were so professional and experienced. The four men finished packing everything very quickly and they loaded everything without any issues. They delivered on time and I found all my belongings safely transported. I was wondering if they were going to add double the amount to the final bill. Surprisingly, they charged exactly what they quoted. It really doesn’t get better than this, does it?

This company is a complete joke. We scheduled with them 6 weeks ago. We did two video walkthroughs and negotiated a price. Mind you these guys do a hard sell. Their sales guy (after we gave them a deposit) was nowhere to be found. We called multiple times and were told "He's taking care of his wife who has Covid, his wife left him and he has mono." They already had our money and the move was scheduled and we had been passed onto another person (manager) who would take care of us. On moving day a 3rd party contractor showed up with one 26 foot truck (instead of two large trucks) and proceeded to take inventory and tag everything. He then tells us the price is going to be approx. $10,000 more than the agreed-upon price. We told them to pound sand and they left. We now have to hire a "real" company to move our stuff and a lawyer to sue them for our money and time lost. Complete rip-off!

Move size: 4 Bedroom Home Service cost: $17250

1st. Know that the rest of these reviews are lies, and that this will only be up for a couple of days till I write it again. The ones written are likely by the people working for them. This is a tactic scum sucking criminals use. I know because I was screwed out of 1300.00, but only because I told them to pound sand when the driver (2 illegals, one russian, one unknown), showed up and said it would be triple the amount they had estimated on the contract. Normally they do this after they have loaded it but I refused to sign anything and was bigger than both of them. Oh, and I think the fact that I called the police to take a report so I would have something for the feds on the following day. Of course the driver and his co-driver took off before the cops came.

So for what it's worth, and forever how long this stays on this bullshit review place they send you to, UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES USE THESE PIECES OF HUMAN WASTE. With any luck, all the people working for this felonious outfit will soon enjoy the comforts of the state of florida prison system. There is a reason they are not on BBB.

This has been the WORST experience with Tierney Van lines. They are quick to make promises they don't keep. I waited for 5 hours for our movers to show up at our storage unit. The men then made false promises to not charge us for certain things and loaded furniture we didn't want them to take (because we knew we were being charged by cubic ft we take up in the truck). They assured me that they would "work with me" and not charge me and then as I'm driving away from the unit, they called and asked me to meet them at an atm since they "helped me out". SO SKETCHY! I said no. So the next day I get a phone call from Tierney asking for us to pay a balance of $1,600 more than what we were originally told. We told them the situation and they had no sympathy. The customer service people there are also very unprofessional and uncommunicative. They have no idea what is going on and how to help us, they just keep forwarding our phone call to other people. These people promise us they will call us back and they don't. Seriously, this company is dishonest and unprofessional. IT HAS BEEN A NIGHTMARE. I wish we just packed it up and moved it all ourselves. Now we are states away from our stuff and they are holding it hostage until we pay them this unjust price. EXTORTIONISTS honestly. PLEASE LOOK INTO OTHER COMPANIES!

Move size: 1 Bedroom Home Service cost: $4100

This was the worst experience I have ever encountered. To make a very long story short, DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES USE THIS COMPANY. They are NOT movers, they are brokers and farm out your job after giving a super low quote to get your business. My mom's move was 2.5 times more than quoted. They contracted out to a 3rd party who broke 5 pieces of furniture. The only saving grace was that the driver was extremely nice and felt bad but I am now waiting to settle with the moving company who actually did the packing and moving. I am beyond upset and will be having my lawyer intervene momentarily. I will put this on every type of social media so that no one else has to endure what I did. BTW my mom is 85 and in poor health, how dare they take advantage like they did.

I have nothing but good things to say about Tierney Van Lines. If you don't mind packing and loading your things (in which case you control safety of your items) this is the way to go. Their customer service under promised and over delivered. They originally stated my belongings would be dropped off on a Friday and then CALLED ME back to ask if it would be ok to drop it off a day earlier. Everyone, including drivers, was so polite, something you don't see much of these days. And most important not a single thing of mine was broken. Everything went as planned and I could not have been happier.

What a goat rope this has been. Have waited for three days for a truck to show up and still no truck. Have been fed lines of crap everyday now. Gonna end up moving my own shit again! DO NOT USE THIS SCAM COMPANY!

Move size: Studio Service cost: $1750

The team of Tierney Van Lines arrived just on time at our house and quickly got about moving our furniture and boxes. Even though there were considerably more items than I had thought, they were able to move the extra pieces without fuss for an agreed additional payment. They unloaded quickly and easily and even managed to get our bed into the new apartment. The team was polite, friendly and accommodating. They were very swift and efficient at their jobs. My move went absolutely easily because of these guys.

We had a very good experience with Tierney Van Lines from start to finish. Everyone was very nice, easy to work with and professional state side. My experience at my old place, with the movers sent from the company, was also very good. I felt informed about the process along the way via email and everything arrived here in good condition, with nothing broken. The movers from the company were nice, helpful and efficient. The price was very reasonable. All in all a very good experience and we would use this company again.

I do not recommend this company! Booking the move and paying my deposit was fairly easy, the problem was repeated lack of communication.

My move was delayed for two days the morning I was expecting pick up (that was upsetting of course, but not the issue).

Six times in 3 days (from different employees and 2 supervisors) I was told I’d receive a phone call at a certain time to update me on my move so I set aside time to take those calls and no one called. All six times.

I explained each time I set up a new call time that I hadn’t been contacted at the last arranged time and they say they understand and apologize and then continue to not call.

Their customer service was a joke. After I’d paid a $1200 deposit I can’t get a call returned when they say they’ll call, 6 times.

Why would I trust them to complete my move and pay them more money when they’ve demonstrated they can’t keep their word.

I cancelled my move and emailed the address they provided asking for a portion of my deposit back and again I got no response from that email.

I called 2 weeks later to follow up and they say they won’t refund me any amount but will credit my deposit, good for 3 years. I asked for a receipt or some proof of this credit and was told “it’ll be in our system, just call us” I continued to ask for some proof this credit exists today or in 3 years and was told they’d have to talk to management to get back to me. No surprise, I haven’t heard back yet.

I do not recommend this company.

Move size: 1 Bedroom Home Service cost: $1236

They will promise you the world and deliver on nothing. They seem to hide behind temporary google phone numbers.

The sales jockeys will run down everything, provide a low ball estimate and a pseudo amazing cost. From there they hand you off to a "quality" agent to review the items. The quality agent never called.

Once they get your money they post on a bid central moving board with a low ball offer that only the worst movers will pick up.

We accommodated the movers request to reschedule 3 times. The third reschedule was for a Saturday morning. We received a call 10 minutes before the scheduled window was coming to a close. The movers needed to reshedule for late afternoon.

We were on the fourth reschedule. Of course the movers called that they were running late. The office was closed. After several voice mails, emails to every address on the website, Paul called and said he would resolve the issue.

More empty words as we never heard back from him.

It was too late. we had to be out of the house by a certain date and couldn't wait any longer.

They surely kept the money and we never received anything but empty promises and no service.

I have 17 state to state moved under my belt. Tierney Van Lines knew all the right lingo to get my business. DO NOT BE FOOLED.

We found another service that bent over backwards for us. We called the new company on a Monday and by that Wednesday afternoon our household goods were on a truck. Good companies are out there,
