Long-distance move from Illinois to Georgia

Nice Guys.

I recently contracted Supreme Moving and Storage, I am very please I chose them over the other companies who bid on my move. I googled companies I was receiving calls from and these guys looked the best so I picked them. I left Chicago to move near my new wife, so I was already stressed lol. Supreme came out and did a great job, they even storaged me for 10days for free and offered up to 40days fres. I only need sometime while we went on our honeymoon. I was please with the way they handled my furniture and that the movers were professional in creating my motorcycle. Thanks a lot again Supreme!

Long-distance move from Massachusetts to Florida

Thanks Supreme.

I like to start off by thanking Michael and supreme moving and storage for really helping me out this was the first move I had where everything that was promised to me by my moving rep. Actually happened,, supreme is a real honest company! I was involved in a moving scam 6 years ago so I knew what to look out for not being a virgin in the moving scene this time. They have all their own trucks and their movers are not day laybors like I was stuck with last time. All of my belongings got delivered safe and nothing was broken 'yay'. If I ever move again, I will be using Supreme Moving and storage!!

Long-distance move from New Jersey to New York

Great Service!

First of all, thank you to Michael and all of Supreme Moving and Storage for making my first real move a success. These guys are very professional. The service rep assigned to me made the whole transition painless, and I received everything that was promised to me. All of my stuff was wrapped up and nothing came up missing. They have excellent storage units that keep everything intact. That was my biggest concern with using a moving company. I didn’t want all my stuff messed up. But I made the right choice using Supreme Moving. They moved so fast up and down all my stairs. Everything was unloaded with care too. They were able to unload my hundreds of books, files, and shoes into the truck in less than an hour. With that, they were also extremely careful with all my things without me instructing them to be. They were super-fast. I’m glad I got a quote over the phone, and that they worked with and stayed within my budget.

Long-distance move from Illinois to Massachusetts

Worst Service and Management.

Before opting for service they are very kind to call and negotiate but later after signing the contract or paying the money they are not at all responding and not even ready to give me the date for delivery. Its been one and half month my goods are with them. I called them to let them know that I have a kid and in this type of winter I need my winter gears to be delivered other wise it becomes difficult to sustain in the weather, in response they answered why are you finding it difficult to survive??
They are very short of trucks and loading people. Also in last 15 days they don't have a truck which travels from Chicago to Boston. If this kind of service is there then how will they survive in this industry or satisfy customer.
They are very rude on phone and support. I am facing a lot of issue with this company and will recommend please do not use Supreme for any of you movement.

Long-distance move from Kentucky to Georgia

Great movers.

I hired Supreme Moving and Storage to move myself and my family from Kentucky to Georgia. We had a large house five bedrooms in Kentucky and had to relocate for my husband's work. We have had to hire many Movers in the past 20 years and these guys definitely stand out amongst the best. Our moving coordinator what Colin. Colin was extremely thorough and patient with me and my husband. When the guys arrive on our pickup they really did an amazing job. We filled up one of those big 18-wheeler trucks and they did all this then under 8 hours. We were really impressed. They deliver us two days later in Georgia. When we got everything on wrapped we did have a few dings and scratches but nothing bad. I've done this about 6 times in the past 20 years and I know that furniture does not come out unscathed but they did an incredibly good job protecting almost everything. We paid a little bit more money for these guys because last move we went with a cheap company and they destroyed our furniture. I wanted to leave this review because I feel like these guys did such a good job. I would recommend them.

Long-distance move from Illinois to New York

The best! !

I hired supreme to move me from Chicago to NY. I've moved so many times and I never look forward to it. I of course started NY search for a mover and talked to everyone underthe sun. I k kw summer time is crazy formocing but you gotta do what you gotta do. My job wanted me in NY, so here I go, again..
I spoke with Gina, (great name ;)) at supreme and she was the best!! I've been through so many moves that I know how it goes. I asked her to just get to the point and no big sales pitch. I already looked then up and knew they were good so I must wanted a price. She was really patient w me, even though I was provabky a huge pain in the a$$. We set up the move quickly and I really liked workkkg with her. The day before the move I got a call to confirmation. The next day the movers showed up, the were late but again, I've dome this so many times, I know the deal movers are always late.
The guys went straight to work and did awesome. They wrapped all my furniture, packed all my boxes and were so polite. I tipped them well and they were gone.
I got a call a week layer to set up delivery. We had to get the insurance in place because I was moving into a swanky place in the city and they want all that stuff. Dispatch took it upon themselves to reach out to my building so k didn't have to do anymore. I just have them the number and they set it all up. I was delivered a cajole days later.
I was upset that it was a different crew because I really liked the first guys but the new ones were just as professional AMD did a great job took. I also tipped them well.
I will absolutely is them again when I move. We all know my job will be sending me somewhere new again soon.
Thank you all at sjoreme for making this such a good experience. I've moved a lot and you guys have stood our as one of the best!
You rock!

Long-distance move from Virginia to Colorado

Worst moving company ever.

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with, and this is my 28th move. They were very helpful and friendly until they took my deposit. Sal helped me with that process, but has refused to answer calls, texts, and emails since they have failed to meet the binding estimate, which is the only contract I have been given. They do not take credit cards, and I now know why. It would be too easy for the customers to get their money back when they commit fraud.

They were supposed to arrive Friday, but it is now Monday and they are saying it could be Wednesday before they show up. Of the multiple windows of time per day that they have promised to show, they have never called to tell me they would not show. I had to call and for the times outside of business hours, I had to wait hours to get a call back.

Each time I have gotten a new excuse. They overbooked, my truck has broken down 3 times, and now they have to get a new driver. The employees have all treated me horribly. They have ignored calls, ignored my requests, acted like I was an idiot, and accused me of mishearing them, even though I had them on speakerphone and my whole family heard them give us two separate times during the same call.

They are also refusing to give back the money for the deposit, even though they are now out of compliance with the contract. They have not even had the decency to apologize. The contract contains clause stating they have 48 hours before and after the agreed upon time to show up. They are not showing up by midnight today, so they are out of compliance with that 48 hours as well.

After they were already two days late, I asked if my brother could be present, as I had to get to Colorado. They said they could send a power of attorney form. The dispatcher I spoke to, Jeremy, also claimed he would send a written money back guarantee if they did not show by 8 am this morning. I received neither, but the latest conversation with a supposed manager said that the power of attorney form counts as a new contract and that they now have another 48 hours because we agreed to let them come today. I didn't sign this form because I never received it. I never agreed to let them come on Monday. They have my money and won't give it back. This is hardly agreeing to extend their contract time. I am also still in Virginia and have had to scramble to make cancellations and other arrangements for commitments in Colorado. The wording in the contract also says it is non-refundable if you cancel, so they will try to make you say that you're cancelling so they can avoid paying you back.

No one has even bothered to apologize for the inconvenience. One supposed manager lied and said my contract had Saturday and Sunday as the dates. Another simply said no compensation will be given and that this is not their responsibility since I agreed to have it delivered today, which I did not.

Do not waste your money with this company, they are not trustworthy in the least. They will take your money and never even show up. They only get one star because one is required.

Long-distance move from Colorado Springs, CO to Fort Bragg, CA

Terrible Company.

They dropped several items down the stairs on pickup. They grossly misrepresented the cost and ability to take all of our belongings and declined to apply the promised discounts to the added amount, smoked in the truck with our things while taking a break, refused to return phone calls about what was going on, did not update the driver when our delivery address was changed several days prior to drop off despite us calling immediately to tell the dispatcher, and demanded an extra $2500.00 to deliver because the driver was afraid to drive on a residential street. He apparently damaged his truck on a previous delivery through his own inability to maneuver, so we had to pay for him to transfer our things to a smaller truck instead of them hiring a better driver. They quoted $6000 total for a move from Colorado to North Carolina and ultimately demanded $21500.00 while holding everything we owned hostage until we payed.

Long-distance move from Palo Alto, CA to Rockledge, FL

Horrible!

I had a move going from California to Florida. After arriving prior to delivery in my new home, determined there were issues with inability to get large truck to my new home location due to branches on road and low power lines. I spent three days trying to get ANYONE from this company to call me back. The only people that answer their phone are the sales people and they take NO accountability for the issue to help try to resolve. Customer service also weren't helpful except for Cynthia - thank God! I left so many messages, no calls back. No ability to escalate to ANYONE. The actual people that picked up were nice and helpful, but the overall company is a complete mess up. My belongings will need to be moved to another smaller truck - costing me another $650. The sales guys are nice in order to get you business but after that it's a mess - buyer beware.

Long-distance move from Carbondale, IL to Saint Cloud, FL

Bad/scam.

I was moving from Illinois to Florida. They gave me an estimate of $3990 and said they won't go over that price range. I was supposed to leave on the 10th but they came on the 11th changing the estimate to $8200. They told me that for my price of $3990, they can move only half my things. Not only were they a day late, they doubled the estimate. I had to find another company because they went over my budget. Because it was Friday evening I had to wait till Monday to get another company to move. If they were honest from the begining, I might have agreed. But this seemed like an intentional scam.

Long-distance move from California to Florida

Great.

These guys moved me from Cali down to my parents in Florida. I honestly was not looking forward to relocating my family but my husband was offered a promotion that would relocate us to South Florida. Which is also where my parents live so it seemed like it was meant to be.
We called supreme because of all the good reviews on line. First I spoke to quite a few other movers who promised me the world and cheap prices. I was born at night but it wasn't last night. So I went on line and all of these other guys had terrible terrible reviews.
I did my research and found these guys.
When I called them the rep spent so much time with me. Gave me an understanding of the moving process, showed me their moving histlry, went through each piece of my house asking a lot of questions. Basically they were very thorough and helpful. I wish I could remember his name. We ultimately made the decision to book with them based on our research and I'm so happy we did.
When the move happened, the workers were AMAZING!! They wrapped and brokedown all my furniture so fast but really well.
My only complaints are the time it took for delivery was a few days longer than I expected but they kept on touch with me and apparently it's busy season so they are a little behind. I could understand that and I had a few plates broken however I did pack those so..
Besised this they were amazing. I highly recommend them if you are moving far. Thank you again!!

Long-distance move from California to Missouri

Horrible Experience.

We gave detailed information to the company including sizes of furniture and cabinets. We talked to them several times to make sure they had complete information. They gave us a quote.
When the truck arrived twelve hours late and at 10:30 pm, we were told we we had purchased a certain amount of space. We were to choose what we wanted on first then pay for the rest or leave it.
When we signed our contract to purchase ahome, we called. They assured us in two conversations that our goods would be here by June 19.
They are now denying that conversation. They said they would load it now. They do not know when we will get it!!

Long-distance move from Chicago, IL to San Francisco, CA

Move from Chicago to San Francisco.

I hired Supreme moving and storage for a move from Chicago to SanFrancisco . I researched for a week and a half ab how not to be scammed. Went to protect your move, checked the U.S. Dot #and MC #, looked up rating on BBB and called numerous moving companies. One thing I didn't do was call the Illinois moving association. A lesson I learned , always call the state moving association to find a reputable moving company. This company appeared to have legit status, but they are far from that. They ask for a deposit up front which I learned is a Big no no and red flag if a company does this.We paid a deposit in cash of $855. Our total move cost was estimated at $2449.As the moving association said, they will have your furniture and belongings until delivery, why do they need a deposit. Everything seemed legit, they have a binding moving estimate and act so nice when booking your move . However!! After they have your deposit you get no info on your move, they lie about when and what time they will arrive or as in our case they Never Arrive.I have never experienced such rude and unprofessional behavior in all my life! Their motto should be lie lie lie!! Please please whatever you do Don't hire Supreme Moving and Storage. It appears as though they have some good reviews , but I'm not so sure why or the legitimate state of those! Again save yourself the trauma and Don't hire Supreme Moving and Storage, you will have many regrets!!

Liars liars and liars - oh my.

This company is a broker - not a mover.

The rep totally misrepresented everything about the company and my move.

The rep stated the estimate is generous - when the movers arrived additional 1500. The rep said Supreme was the door to sore mover - bull sh*t. They used Safeway. The rep said - no shuttle will be used - they used one. Addional 500.

So - just book Safeway. They are nicer and deliver your stuff anyway.

Long-distance move from Washington to North Carolina

No Communication - Terrible Servce.

The movers said they would come this weekend to pick up our things. We reserved the service elevator in our building for two 4 hour slots, one on Saturday and one on Sunday. On Friday afternoon, Cynthia called us to confirm that the driver had reached out. He hadn't. Cynthia said somebody would get back to us soon.

That was the last we heard from anyone. I called several times on Friday afternoon, Saturday all day and Sunday.

Jack, who sold us the move, only sent the number for the scheduling office when I emailed him about the problem. He then did not answer or return my calls. The numerous messages left for the scheduling department were not returned. Nobody offered an emergency contact number for the weekend.

Beware of the positive reviews. I even went with supreme's slightly higher bid because of the reviews that they had received. I was certainly duped! I will updated the review if/when they remedy the situations, which now looks like it will delay the move out from our apartment, and will cost us at least an extra few hundred dollars.

Terrible experience so far!! Please pick somebody else.

Long-distance move from California to Virginia

Communication Nightmare.

I contracted Supreme Moving and Storage to move my deceased mothers belongings from Redding, CA to Williamsburg, VA in February 2017. I was given a quote and accepted the contract. I put a third of the total bill down as a deposit in March of 2017 with the agreement that the move would be happening the summer of 2017. When I contacted the company in July to set the move date they gave me a move date of August 23-24 with a more precise time to follow that week based on their availability. The called with a date. My sister had made a special trip to CA from her home in Kodiak, AK to take care of this move for no one to show up at the proposed time. I called and left several messages the next day for them to finally call me back and say that northern CA was difficult for them. They did not inform me of this at time of contract, they said we may have to cancel the move or they said they would have someone there on August 26th. Again no one showed. I called Monday August 28th to inquire the status. They then told me that the quote was produced my an employee that was underbidding jobs. But never contacted me about the misquote. They said they would do this move for me at the contracted price and get back to me with a day for the move. When I called today August 29th to get information about the move I was told that this is harassment and then hung up on. I just want a refund so I can move with a more customer service oriented company. I was told the first time they offered to cancel that I would receive a refund. Today they said they didn't know how to give a refund.

Long-distance move from Crescent City, CA to La Marque, TX

Consumer beware!

*BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE!!
Don't believe the positive reviews for this company, I am convinced they are fabricated by employees of this company. I booked a move from Northern Ca over 1 month in advance. I actually chose this company over others d/t the initial pitch from Colin who walked me through what to look for when choosing a company, he actually had the nerve to point out all of the ways that a person might be scammed on with moving companies- basically foreshadowing what was to come for me. Being totally moving company naive, I sent them a deposit of $1374- the contract does say 'non-refundable', which in hindsight I should not have agreed to and am being told by LEGIT companies that this is the first red-flag to look for as truly LEGIT companies will never require, and the other companies that gave me estimates did not have (non-refundable) in their contracts. About 2 weeks prior to the move, I called to make sure everything was still a go- never actually spoke to a live person- Colin did however reach out to me via email and assured me that everything was still on track and that I should be receiving a call soon. Fast forward another week, I initiated a call again, same response (mind you, still didn't receive a call back, just an email response). The first day of the 2 day window of my move arrives- still haven't heard from anyone, I call again. After navigating thru their phone tree (leaving messages because the option was never answered, requesting call back each time), leaving a message then calling right back and choosing another option, I finally reached a live person (Jeremy). He tells me that a truck would be there tomorrow, and that he would call me back later with more details. The call never came, so next morning (day 2 of my move window) I call back- went thru the same exact scenario of leaving messages, navigating phone tree options until I reached a live person, being transferred (dropped call, recalled) to Jeremy who gives me a story about the truck who is going to pick me up having an unexpected much larger than conveyed load that was tying them up and that the truck wouldn't be to my location until somewhere around 7-9 p.m. I indicated that we could then be ready to get going first thing in the morning with an affirmative answer by Jeremy. Next day rolls around, mid-morning I call for a status update (again, same scenario as before- calling each phone tree option until I get a live person). I finally spoke with Jeremy who gives me a completely different story, saying that he has pictures of the truck that is supposed to move me 'just pouring oil' and is now in the shop! And, you guessed it, we would need to reschedule again for the next day. I may be moving company naive, but I am not stupid. I continued to call day in and day out up thru Friday. On Friday, Jeremy tells me-COMPLETELY UNPROMPTED that they would not be able to get a truck 'way up there where you are, near Oregon' and that he was 'going to talk with management and get your deposit returned to you- you should see it back today'. Again, this was the company telling me they were going to make it right by refunding my deposit, not me asking for it back. I thanked him and began making other arrangements which I completed. This was Friday afternoon. Saturday mid-morning, I get a call from Jeremy who says 'we have a truck that can pick you up today or tomorrow' to which I replied ' I was with the understanding that it wasn't happening, so I made other arrangements', I also gently reminded him that I had not seen the deposit returned to my bank account. He indicated that he would 'check on that with management today'. Fast forward to Monday, I get a call from Joseph who starts out by telling me 'I got a truck that will pick you up today'. I went thru everything that had transpired, including the UNPROMPTED refund of my deposit statements made by an employee of his company. He proceeded to tell me that Jeremy was new and that they had actually suspended him because he shouldn't have said that and the deposit is non-refundable and wanted to get me on a 'recorded line' that I was forfeiting the deposit! I said ‘make sure to record the fact that someone from your company said I was to get my deposit back’- I am sure they will edit the conversation to get exactly what they need to appear legitimate. He also mentioned several times what a great customer review rating the company had- but I have looked at several sites that review this company, and yes, there are a lot of positive reviews (again, I (and many other reviewers out there) tend to believe that employees of this company are the ones writing these positive reviews)- however, when you look at the 1 star reviews, they all seem to have a common theme (exactly or very similar to my own experience- THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY BUT DO NOT HOLD UP THEIR END OF THE CONTRACT, GIVE LOTS OF EXCUSES, DON'T RETURN YOUR CALLS ETC.- PLEASE READ OTHER REVIEWS BEFORE CHOOSING THIS COMPANY!!

Long-distance move from Chicago, IL to Denver, CO

Worst..Company..Ever.

I went with Supreme Moving and Storage because I had a positive experience with the sales woman who gave me a well-priced quote and informed me that although the moving window was 21 days, my move would take no longer than 3-5 days.

First, they showed up a day later than they promised, and when the movers finally arrived, they refused to move me because they believed there was more stuff than I had listed (which was untrue). The movers then sat in their truck for 3 hours while they waited for someone to call me about the change in price. They charged me for additional storage, flights of stairs, and packing, which I had originally been told was included in the cost. It was a horrible experience, but since my timeline was tight, I had no option but to agree to the new terms.

Fast forward 3 weeks and I still haven't received my stuff. Every time I get through to a customer service rep (1 in 40 calls), I'm told that the truck is almost to the warehouse, and my stuff will be loaded shortly. They have lied and pushed back the date constantly since my first estimate. Supreme Moving gives you a 21 business day window, which is more than any other company. As such, It can be a full month until you get your stuff. Furthermore, their customer service is the worst I have ever dealt with.

Do not believe any positive reviews, or the nonsense that spews out of the sales people's mouths to coerce you into giving them your business. If this was the last moving company left on the planet, then I still wouldn't use them. I'd rather walk all of my possessions across the desert than let them move me again. Worst experience with a business ever!

Buyer Beware.

Chose this company due to many positive reviews. I now believe the reviews were written by their employees. This has been a nightmare to say the least and is still ongoing. First they did not arrive on time, 2 days late. I paid an additional $800 to get an expedited delivery by 8/19 and now being told 8/21 or 8/22. No one ever answers the phone in customer service and or dispatch. The main number in Forest Park, IL NEVER GOES THROUGH!! On top of all of this I was quoted approximately $2,600 and now told $8,700. The driver keeps telling me he will have someone from the company call me and no one ever does. I believe this is a fraudulent company and will be contacting the authorities.

Long-distance move from Smithfield, NC to Cherokee, IA

The nightmare continues.

08/20/17 continued: 3:01pm - Movers arrived on a box truck, the driver, Ozzy, came inside with his paperwork. I now see what the issue with the total is. A new, and fraudulent “Bill of Lading and Order for Service” was written up AFTER our pick up. The remaining total, which was $1562.88..had a line through it and another total of $1992.88 had been written in underneath it. I have my copy of the original one that has the remaining total at $1562.88, as it was the night of the pick up on 08/03/17. There was also another fraudulent document that I now have a copy of, which is an “Interstate Bill of Lading Contract – Valuation Addendum”, that someone else filled out putting my name, my initials under the “option 2”, which is stating that it is a “waiver of full replacement value protection” on my property, they wrote “$0.60 per “pond” for article”, and wrote an estimate of $4611.00 as the “Dollar Estimate of the cost of your move under the 60 cents option”…AND they dated it for 08/03/17. I did not have any knowledge that this had happened, nor did I initial, sign, or give any consent for anything regarding this, it also was done AFTER pick up. Supreme Moving and Storage is by far THE most dishonest company that I have ever dealt with. I paid Ozzy the correct remaining total of $1562.88, and they began unloading the truck. Ozzy and the other gentleman (I’m afraid I can’t remember his name) were very pleasant, respectful, and helpful. We took photos and video as they brought in boxes that had been completely destroyed..2 of which had also been wet..my son’s clothes in one of them were still wet and were moldy, several destroyed totes..one of which contained what was left of several trophies that belonged to my son’s deceased mother, from her childhood..all of the trophies were completely destroyed except one. I cannot even begin to describe the nauseating level of anger that my husband and I felt as we had to watch our teenage son cry as he held the destroyed remains of his mother’s trophies. The headboard to our queen sleigh bed was broken, and someone had tried to tape it back together, one of our dressers was damaged, our desk top computed was damaged, our L-shaped desk with hutch was just destroyed..the hutch looks OK, but the desk is completely trashed. A handle was broken off of my husband’s hope chest that was built my his grandfather, a plate from a dish set that my father gave us was broken, A collectable Smurf glass was broken from a set that I have that are from the early 1980s, a Yankee Candles tart warmer was broken, and this is only the beginning. We were not able to get through all the boxes last night, as it was getting late and my husband had to be up early for work this morning. I will file a claim for ALL our damage once we are finished assessing and documenting whatever else we are faced with, and find out whether or not our freezer, washer, and dryer are even functional now. I will update as we go.

My Overall Experience.

Anyone that says moving across country can be a horrible experience dealing with professional mover is accurate! I booked a move from what appeared to be a mover but was nothing but a middle company looking to score big on a hard working family! The price was well below our estimated budget and looking at some of the fake reviews we choose them. Well the movers show up 2 days later than contracted out to be! Not only did our estimate increase IT TRIPLED in price! Immediately we stop the move and of course they kept our money! Got a call the same day from Supreme Moving And Storage and the Rep was very informative about what just happened. Called the bait and switch! Now the price they offered was a little high but considering last minute we accepted the offer. They showed up pack up our belongings and delivered within the time frame requested! I got to give a two thumbs up to this company for not only the quick education but also helping me when I need something reliable! I told them company I will right a awesome review and hope the right person see this! I recommend them to everyone! Good Job guys!

Worst move ever.

The only positive part of my experience with this company. Was interaction with Daniel. After you get past reservation and basically give them your money, it is a disaster moving forward. Worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life from booking the actual move, the moving day show up, to delivery of items. Do not waste your hard earned money here. It's a scam. I also believe they treat male customers differently than their female counterparts. Absolute disaster.

Stay Away.

They are a scam. They told us our items have not been packed on to a truck due to Hurricane Irma (it's 9/14 and they've had our stuff since 8/20). Where as I am understanding and empathetic, we moved from Ohio to California. How does Irma play in here? It's irrelevant. At this point I am certain my things will never arrive.

They don't answer their phones and when they do they hang up on you. They are rude. Don't believe any one who says positive things about this company. Don't be fooled by a low quote, it's never that amount. This was my first time moving across country and I wanted to get a Uhaul but price played in here. In retrospect, I should have gotten the UHaul.
