Long-distance move from Illinois to Massachusetts

Worst Service and Management.

Before opting for service they are very kind to call and negotiate but later after signing the contract or paying the money they are not at all responding and not even ready to give me the date for delivery. Its been one and half month my goods are with them. I called them to let them know that I have a kid and in this type of winter I need my winter gears to be delivered other wise it becomes difficult to sustain in the weather, in response they answered why are you finding it difficult to survive??
They are very short of trucks and loading people. Also in last 15 days they don't have a truck which travels from Chicago to Boston. If this kind of service is there then how will they survive in this industry or satisfy customer.
They are very rude on phone and support. I am facing a lot of issue with this company and will recommend please do not use Supreme for any of you movement.

Long-distance move from Illinois to Florida

The best!

I was nervous about the move but I had a great experience that I wanted to share. This company definitely worked hard to really show me the hard working experience at this carrier. They proved from start to finish on the job. The company was very affordable on the price and being able to know I was able to trust the moving carrier for the first time moving was a big step because I didn't know where this could go. Knowing that I made that big step it was great that I made it with Superior moving company. Overall I rate this company an A+ 5 stars, I had no complaints and the sales specialist gave me a great quote. He also answered all of my questions and cleared all of my doubts. He made me safe and assured everything would go as planned. Overall great experience and highly recommend this to readers and family and friends. I'll be a returning customer . If you are moving I definitely recommend this company as you can tell everything went great with my move!

Don't Use Supreme Moving and Storage.

Supreme Moving and Storage did NOT honor their contract. We had only one day to move as our daughter needs a transplant and we are moving across the country and so time is of the essence. I flew to her apt to meet the movers but they did NOT show up as promised. They made excuses for why not. Then they denied that they said they had promised. When I emailed them back the contract to show them the date they promised, they denied receiving my email. We called more than 15 times but they hung up on us, put us hold for more than half hour many of the calls, and then hung up on us again. They were rude, they didn't agree to come the next day because they said they couldn't take responsibility for the driver's timeliness. The man who calls himself the manager was as offensive as is humanly possible. I am grateful for the chance to review this company to save other unsuspecting folks who need to move from using this HORRIBLE company.

Long-distance move from Kentucky to Georgia

Great movers.

I hired Supreme Moving and Storage to move myself and my family from Kentucky to Georgia. We had a large house five bedrooms in Kentucky and had to relocate for my husband's work. We have had to hire many Movers in the past 20 years and these guys definitely stand out amongst the best. Our moving coordinator what Colin. Colin was extremely thorough and patient with me and my husband. When the guys arrive on our pickup they really did an amazing job. We filled up one of those big 18-wheeler trucks and they did all this then under 8 hours. We were really impressed. They deliver us two days later in Georgia. When we got everything on wrapped we did have a few dings and scratches but nothing bad. I've done this about 6 times in the past 20 years and I know that furniture does not come out unscathed but they did an incredibly good job protecting almost everything. We paid a little bit more money for these guys because last move we went with a cheap company and they destroyed our furniture. I wanted to leave this review because I feel like these guys did such a good job. I would recommend them.

Long-distance move from Colorado Springs, CO to Fort Bragg, CA

Terrible Company.

They dropped several items down the stairs on pickup. They grossly misrepresented the cost and ability to take all of our belongings and declined to apply the promised discounts to the added amount, smoked in the truck with our things while taking a break, refused to return phone calls about what was going on, did not update the driver when our delivery address was changed several days prior to drop off despite us calling immediately to tell the dispatcher, and demanded an extra $2500.00 to deliver because the driver was afraid to drive on a residential street. He apparently damaged his truck on a previous delivery through his own inability to maneuver, so we had to pay for him to transfer our things to a smaller truck instead of them hiring a better driver. They quoted $6000 total for a move from Colorado to North Carolina and ultimately demanded $21500.00 while holding everything we owned hostage until we payed.

Long-distance move from Palo Alto, CA to Rockledge, FL

Horrible!

I had a move going from California to Florida. After arriving prior to delivery in my new home, determined there were issues with inability to get large truck to my new home location due to branches on road and low power lines. I spent three days trying to get ANYONE from this company to call me back. The only people that answer their phone are the sales people and they take NO accountability for the issue to help try to resolve. Customer service also weren't helpful except for Cynthia - thank God! I left so many messages, no calls back. No ability to escalate to ANYONE. The actual people that picked up were nice and helpful, but the overall company is a complete mess up. My belongings will need to be moved to another smaller truck - costing me another $650. The sales guys are nice in order to get you business but after that it's a mess - buyer beware.

Long-distance move from Carbondale, IL to Saint Cloud, FL

Bad/scam.

I was moving from Illinois to Florida. They gave me an estimate of $3990 and said they won't go over that price range. I was supposed to leave on the 10th but they came on the 11th changing the estimate to $8200. They told me that for my price of $3990, they can move only half my things. Not only were they a day late, they doubled the estimate. I had to find another company because they went over my budget. Because it was Friday evening I had to wait till Monday to get another company to move. If they were honest from the begining, I might have agreed. But this seemed like an intentional scam.

Long-distance move from Burlington, IA to Lake Jackson, TX

Run Away From These Shysters.

Fraudulent bait and switch company. My original estimate from Kevin was $5700. This was in keeping with the move we'd made three years ago. I specifically asked if they are the actual movers and that they don't contract the move out to someone else. Kevin said yes.

I asked if our household belongings would stay on the truck. Kevin said yes. I had to lay $2000 to lock it in. So I felt goo about the move.

However, 5 days before our move, Johnathan Bailey, their "quality assurance" guy, jacked up our estimate to $12,000 after we did a room-by-room inventory. I asked Johnathan why didn't Kevin do this with the first estimate, because if he had and come back with a quote of $12,000, I would have run for the hills. Johnathan presented me with no answers. So with a stroke of his hand, he nullified the original estimate, of which I had already paid a non-refundable deposit. So even if I declined to approve the new estimate, I would have lost $2000. Since they had 2k of our money, I felt trapped.

To add insult to injury, Johnathan Bailey took out another $2000 without my permission. He took my ACH information, but he gave me the impression that would be done on moving day..which is standard.

On moving day, the van arrived, and the foreman jacked it up to $17,000, saying the cubic feet was even more than estimated. Mind you, these were plain white trucks, not Superior Moving trucks with their logo. We found out that they do, indeed, contract out their moves to other contractors, and they're free to jack up the price even higher.

Keep in mind that they don't accept credit cards, and now I know why. They use your ACH information to steal the money out of your account and leave you powerless to take any recourse to protect yourself.

Move from Washington to Tucson.

I can't add anything that hasn't already been said in many of these reviews. Our experience was horrible. Nothing but a scam company. Zero concern for the customer. No communication unless they want more money. Promises for pickup not kept, promises fro price reduction not kept, and phone calls and email not returned. Do not give this company your money. Once they have your down payment and your goods, you are at their mercy. I don't know who is writing good reviews, but it can't be real customers. Tis was the worst company I have ever dealt with on any service. I don't even think they are areal moving company. From our information, they are a moving broker that outsources the move once the sale is made. DO NOT USE THEM FOR YOUR MOVE!!

Long-distance move from Seattle, WA to Chapel Hill, NC

Miserable experience.

Our experience with Supreme has been miserable, and we strongly encourage everyone to use a different company.

Our pick-up was a disaster. We stated we needed to be out by the 31st, a Monday, and were told it would be no problem to schedule a pick up for Saturday. We got one brief confusing call on Friday, but nobody showed up on Saturday. Or Sunday. We called and called but didn't get through until Monday. That day, with excuses that the driver had mechanical problems, we were told someone would arrive by Monday afternoon. When nobody arrived on Monday, we had to extend our lease and change our flights, at significant expense. The pick up finally happened on Tuesday. Supreme's estimation tool underestimated our load by 25%, leading to a significant increase in price. In storage or when being transferred between trucks, our things were badly damaged or lost. Our furniture must have been dragged and thrown. Despite being wrapped carefully in blankets by the first driver every piece bares dents, scratched surfaces, or missing hardware. One chair, unfortunately one with sentimental value, had a wrung cracked and ripped out. That broken piece was lost. It will cost as much to replace as to repair. The boxes, if they weren't deeply punctured by the legs of flying furniture, were stacked under so much weight they were crushed. Our bed frame (custom, hand-made, solid hardwood) and mattress were misplaced or put in a different shipment. It has been three weeks and there is still no indication from anyone that they have been located. We suspect we will not see them again.

Throughout the process Supreme's customer service has been terrible. We spent the entire first weekend calling but never received a response. In fact, after the initial sales phase, they have never contacted us. Their Customer Service team has never returned a single phone call or email. We estimate we left approximately 20 voicemails for every time that we actually got through. We had to stop accepting promises and instead insist they make inquiries or send forms while we were on the phone with them. We never received any notification from Supreme about when our delivery would be; we had to find the driver's number by contacting the carrier he works for. Our belongings arrived 2.5 weeks after our scheduled date, and 6 weeks after our pick up. When we resorted to tracking down the drivers they were, to their credit, courteous and helpful. When we tried to contact Supreme about damaged and missing items we had to speak with three people, and leave multiple unanswered voicemails and emails, to even receive the claims form. We are not optimistic about any of our costs being covered.

Furthermore, every single person involved in our move cast the blame elsewhere - sales blamed dispatch, dispatch blamed the carriers, the carriers blamed the drivers, the drivers blamed the warehouse, and the warehouse is unreachable. This may be true throughout the industry, but every Supreme employee feigned personal offense if we asked them to take some responsibility.

Our primary advice to Supreme is to communicate. When we said we had to be out by the 31st, don't say "okay, let's do the 29th," say, "to be safe let's give it a week." When a truck has mechanical problems, call us so we don't spend all weekend waiting to see if perhaps you'll arrive. Let us know about the progress of our delivery on the first scheduled delivery date. If you don't have those details, help us contact the subcontractors directly; don't make us figure out how to track down our belongings ourselves. You promised we'd receive information in a few hours about what's going on with our missing items. It's been weeks - isn't it time to follow up? Most importantly answer your voicemails, answer your emails. We are understanding that coordinating a shipment across the country can have challenges, and that not every box will arrive in pristine condition. But we are less understanding when you fail to communicate at all, and give hollow promises when we do manage to get in touch with you. If you did these things, your call center wouldn't be so swamped. Your people would be more courteous. You would have more time to be reaching out to make other customers happy - a virtuous cycle.

Our advice to other customers is to listen to what other people in the moving industry have since told us: use a large national moving company. Yes, they too can have delays and other issues, but there are several reasons why they are more likely to get you your things safely. Most of these companies will do a walkthrough of your house and give you a binding estimate, to ensure you are not surprised by additional fees. They hire their owner/operator drivers directly, so there are fewer layers of subcontractors to deal with. The drivers cover your belongings under their own insurance, so they keep it safe. Often the driver does both the loading and unloading, so there are no excuses about damage caused by someone else. The drivers are paid by weight and distance, so they are encouraged to drop off your items promptly. Other things to do.. Nobody has much incentive to pick up on time, so give yourself a buffer on that end. And try to be present whenever someone touches your belongings. This may mean packing your items yourself in a pod, or hiring your own team to transfer items between trucks. In any case, do not use Supreme.

Woooaahhh Life Savers.

I was so confused when getting clothes for my upcoming move but after speaking to Jason at supreme moving and storage he really broke I have a "worked with the inventory and that I was finding to my items once I was able to understand everything work he had me give them a list of what I was taking on the trip and on the day of the move I wind up having less boxes And the Price went down $200 .. I was picked up and delivered within six days which after reading about moving companies seem to be really quick I was happy everything got there in one piece the movers were great and very polite. I'd recommend supreme moving and storage to anyone looking for a company who is not a broker. Thanks a lot guys did great.

Long-distance move from Chicago, IL to San Francisco, CA

Move from Chicago to San Francisco.

I hired Supreme moving and storage for a move from Chicago to SanFrancisco . I researched for a week and a half ab how not to be scammed. Went to protect your move, checked the U.S. Dot #and MC #, looked up rating on BBB and called numerous moving companies. One thing I didn't do was call the Illinois moving association. A lesson I learned , always call the state moving association to find a reputable moving company. This company appeared to have legit status, but they are far from that. They ask for a deposit up front which I learned is a Big no no and red flag if a company does this.We paid a deposit in cash of $855. Our total move cost was estimated at $2449.As the moving association said, they will have your furniture and belongings until delivery, why do they need a deposit. Everything seemed legit, they have a binding moving estimate and act so nice when booking your move . However!! After they have your deposit you get no info on your move, they lie about when and what time they will arrive or as in our case they Never Arrive.I have never experienced such rude and unprofessional behavior in all my life! Their motto should be lie lie lie!! Please please whatever you do Don't hire Supreme Moving and Storage. It appears as though they have some good reviews , but I'm not so sure why or the legitimate state of those! Again save yourself the trauma and Don't hire Supreme Moving and Storage, you will have many regrets!!

Liars liars and liars - oh my.

This company is a broker - not a mover.

The rep totally misrepresented everything about the company and my move.

The rep stated the estimate is generous - when the movers arrived additional 1500. The rep said Supreme was the door to sore mover - bull sh*t. They used Safeway. The rep said - no shuttle will be used - they used one. Addional 500.

So - just book Safeway. They are nicer and deliver your stuff anyway.

Long-distance move from Washington to North Carolina

No Communication - Terrible Servce.

The movers said they would come this weekend to pick up our things. We reserved the service elevator in our building for two 4 hour slots, one on Saturday and one on Sunday. On Friday afternoon, Cynthia called us to confirm that the driver had reached out. He hadn't. Cynthia said somebody would get back to us soon.

That was the last we heard from anyone. I called several times on Friday afternoon, Saturday all day and Sunday.

Jack, who sold us the move, only sent the number for the scheduling office when I emailed him about the problem. He then did not answer or return my calls. The numerous messages left for the scheduling department were not returned. Nobody offered an emergency contact number for the weekend.

Beware of the positive reviews. I even went with supreme's slightly higher bid because of the reviews that they had received. I was certainly duped! I will updated the review if/when they remedy the situations, which now looks like it will delay the move out from our apartment, and will cost us at least an extra few hundred dollars.

Terrible experience so far!! Please pick somebody else.

Long-distance move from California to Virginia

Communication Nightmare.

I contracted Supreme Moving and Storage to move my deceased mothers belongings from Redding, CA to Williamsburg, VA in February 2017. I was given a quote and accepted the contract. I put a third of the total bill down as a deposit in March of 2017 with the agreement that the move would be happening the summer of 2017. When I contacted the company in July to set the move date they gave me a move date of August 23-24 with a more precise time to follow that week based on their availability. The called with a date. My sister had made a special trip to CA from her home in Kodiak, AK to take care of this move for no one to show up at the proposed time. I called and left several messages the next day for them to finally call me back and say that northern CA was difficult for them. They did not inform me of this at time of contract, they said we may have to cancel the move or they said they would have someone there on August 26th. Again no one showed. I called Monday August 28th to inquire the status. They then told me that the quote was produced my an employee that was underbidding jobs. But never contacted me about the misquote. They said they would do this move for me at the contracted price and get back to me with a day for the move. When I called today August 29th to get information about the move I was told that this is harassment and then hung up on. I just want a refund so I can move with a more customer service oriented company. I was told the first time they offered to cancel that I would receive a refund. Today they said they didn't know how to give a refund.

Long-distance move from Crescent City, CA to La Marque, TX

Consumer beware!

*BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE!!
Don't believe the positive reviews for this company, I am convinced they are fabricated by employees of this company. I booked a move from Northern Ca over 1 month in advance. I actually chose this company over others d/t the initial pitch from Colin who walked me through what to look for when choosing a company, he actually had the nerve to point out all of the ways that a person might be scammed on with moving companies- basically foreshadowing what was to come for me. Being totally moving company naive, I sent them a deposit of $1374- the contract does say 'non-refundable', which in hindsight I should not have agreed to and am being told by LEGIT companies that this is the first red-flag to look for as truly LEGIT companies will never require, and the other companies that gave me estimates did not have (non-refundable) in their contracts. About 2 weeks prior to the move, I called to make sure everything was still a go- never actually spoke to a live person- Colin did however reach out to me via email and assured me that everything was still on track and that I should be receiving a call soon. Fast forward another week, I initiated a call again, same response (mind you, still didn't receive a call back, just an email response). The first day of the 2 day window of my move arrives- still haven't heard from anyone, I call again. After navigating thru their phone tree (leaving messages because the option was never answered, requesting call back each time), leaving a message then calling right back and choosing another option, I finally reached a live person (Jeremy). He tells me that a truck would be there tomorrow, and that he would call me back later with more details. The call never came, so next morning (day 2 of my move window) I call back- went thru the same exact scenario of leaving messages, navigating phone tree options until I reached a live person, being transferred (dropped call, recalled) to Jeremy who gives me a story about the truck who is going to pick me up having an unexpected much larger than conveyed load that was tying them up and that the truck wouldn't be to my location until somewhere around 7-9 p.m. I indicated that we could then be ready to get going first thing in the morning with an affirmative answer by Jeremy. Next day rolls around, mid-morning I call for a status update (again, same scenario as before- calling each phone tree option until I get a live person). I finally spoke with Jeremy who gives me a completely different story, saying that he has pictures of the truck that is supposed to move me 'just pouring oil' and is now in the shop! And, you guessed it, we would need to reschedule again for the next day. I may be moving company naive, but I am not stupid. I continued to call day in and day out up thru Friday. On Friday, Jeremy tells me-COMPLETELY UNPROMPTED that they would not be able to get a truck 'way up there where you are, near Oregon' and that he was 'going to talk with management and get your deposit returned to you- you should see it back today'. Again, this was the company telling me they were going to make it right by refunding my deposit, not me asking for it back. I thanked him and began making other arrangements which I completed. This was Friday afternoon. Saturday mid-morning, I get a call from Jeremy who says 'we have a truck that can pick you up today or tomorrow' to which I replied ' I was with the understanding that it wasn't happening, so I made other arrangements', I also gently reminded him that I had not seen the deposit returned to my bank account. He indicated that he would 'check on that with management today'. Fast forward to Monday, I get a call from Joseph who starts out by telling me 'I got a truck that will pick you up today'. I went thru everything that had transpired, including the UNPROMPTED refund of my deposit statements made by an employee of his company. He proceeded to tell me that Jeremy was new and that they had actually suspended him because he shouldn't have said that and the deposit is non-refundable and wanted to get me on a 'recorded line' that I was forfeiting the deposit! I said ‘make sure to record the fact that someone from your company said I was to get my deposit back’- I am sure they will edit the conversation to get exactly what they need to appear legitimate. He also mentioned several times what a great customer review rating the company had- but I have looked at several sites that review this company, and yes, there are a lot of positive reviews (again, I (and many other reviewers out there) tend to believe that employees of this company are the ones writing these positive reviews)- however, when you look at the 1 star reviews, they all seem to have a common theme (exactly or very similar to my own experience- THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY BUT DO NOT HOLD UP THEIR END OF THE CONTRACT, GIVE LOTS OF EXCUSES, DON'T RETURN YOUR CALLS ETC.- PLEASE READ OTHER REVIEWS BEFORE CHOOSING THIS COMPANY!!

Long-distance move from Chicago, IL to Denver, CO

Worst..Company..Ever.

I went with Supreme Moving and Storage because I had a positive experience with the sales woman who gave me a well-priced quote and informed me that although the moving window was 21 days, my move would take no longer than 3-5 days.

First, they showed up a day later than they promised, and when the movers finally arrived, they refused to move me because they believed there was more stuff than I had listed (which was untrue). The movers then sat in their truck for 3 hours while they waited for someone to call me about the change in price. They charged me for additional storage, flights of stairs, and packing, which I had originally been told was included in the cost. It was a horrible experience, but since my timeline was tight, I had no option but to agree to the new terms.

Fast forward 3 weeks and I still haven't received my stuff. Every time I get through to a customer service rep (1 in 40 calls), I'm told that the truck is almost to the warehouse, and my stuff will be loaded shortly. They have lied and pushed back the date constantly since my first estimate. Supreme Moving gives you a 21 business day window, which is more than any other company. As such, It can be a full month until you get your stuff. Furthermore, their customer service is the worst I have ever dealt with.

Do not believe any positive reviews, or the nonsense that spews out of the sales people's mouths to coerce you into giving them your business. If this was the last moving company left on the planet, then I still wouldn't use them. I'd rather walk all of my possessions across the desert than let them move me again. Worst experience with a business ever!

Stay Away.

They are a scam. They told us our items have not been packed on to a truck due to Hurricane Irma (it's 9/14 and they've had our stuff since 8/20). Where as I am understanding and empathetic, we moved from Ohio to California. How does Irma play in here? It's irrelevant. At this point I am certain my things will never arrive.

They don't answer their phones and when they do they hang up on you. They are rude. Don't believe any one who says positive things about this company. Don't be fooled by a low quote, it's never that amount. This was my first time moving across country and I wanted to get a Uhaul but price played in here. Supreme Moving & Storage.

ATTENTION! BEWARE! ATTENTION! BEWARE! THIS COMPANY IS A FRAUD!!

I am a retired veteran, so this was actually my first out of state move I've ever made on my own without military assistance. I honestly did not know where to begin and was very apprehensive about the process.

In June 2017, I submitted an online quote with one moving company and received several calls from various moving companies. I received a call from Collin from Supreme Moving and Storage. Collin was very personable and even offered me tips on what to look for when choosing a moving company. He gave me a quote and I told him I would do my research and get back with him. After our initial telephone call, I received numerous emails and telephone calls from Collin inquiring about my choice in moving companies and if I would be interested in Supreme Moving & Storage. On August 31, 2017, I contracted Supreme Moving & Storage to move my household goods from VA to TX with a window of Sep 8-9, 2017. I was told that I would receive a telephone call 24 hrs prior to verify the date and time that the movers would be at my home.

On Sep 7, 2017, I hadn't received a call from anyone from the company so I called Customer Service and spoke with Brad. Brad assured me that everything was on schedule and I was on the schedule to have my items picked up. On Sep 8, 2017, I didn't receive a call and neither did any movers show up at my residence. I called Customer Service well over 20 times and left messages and no one returned my call. On Sep 9, 2017, it was the same thing as the day before. Again, no movers showed up at my home, nor could I get in contact with anyone at Customer Service.

What's even more disheartening about this whole fiasco is that this company swindled me out of my $1180 deposit. They never rendered a service and neither have they provided an explanation as to why services were never rendered.

Because this company failed to pick my household goods up within the scheduled time frame I am not able to leave VA as planned on Sep 16, 2017. I've had to search and pay for new movers, as well as the costs associated with changing my plane tickets (American Airlines charges $200 per ticket for flight changes). I am paying for a home in TX and daycare fees now and I'm stuck in VA for at least another week or two.

Supreme Moving and Storage are FRAUDS!! And I can't believe they are still in business. I plan to exhaust ever avenue I can until this matter is resolved and I receive a refund. I certainly will not stand by and allow these idiots to steal from me.

I'll also note that the BBB had originally given this company an A+ rating, but has sense change the rating to a NR. I'm sure this something to do with the seriousness of recent complaints against this company. I truly believe all of the positive reviews on this company are fraudulent and manufactured by the companies employees. I plan to sue as well as file a complaint with the BBB, Dept of Transportation and the Forest Park Police Dept. Anyone going through issues with this company please feel free to contact me.

This is the information I have on this company:

Long-distance move from Winnetka, CA to Star, ID

Move from California to Idaho.

We were defrauded by Supreme Moving and Storage. First, we were given a great sales job by Gina who gave us all the things to be watchful for when selecting a mover and listing all the reasons they are superior to other companies and providing great materials and links for them. The estimate was reasonable and even slightly higher than our least expensive estimate. Convinced, we went with the $8,900 estimate in June 2017. Pick up was 7/19 and the movers were professional and great. After our possessions were fully loaded, I was presented with a $13,900 bill to my great shock. Exhausted from the big day, I had no choice but to pay the third, believing I could discuss and get a reduction through Gina. Afterward and To my horror I discovered a large number of boxes were left behind. I immediately called and emailed Supreme. That night I was told the boxes would be picked up the next day. After two days we had to be out of our house and still no pick up. Supreme ignored my calls and email. We had to move the boxes to a storage unit. After a few days I received an email from Gina who said she had forwarded my email and someone would call me that day. I reminded her we needed to talk about the extreme overage as well. We had the advantage of time because we weren't moving to Idaho until end of August. After no response to multiple calls, messages, and emails, we set up a large storage unit in Idaho August 1 and began calling to ask for delivery. No response. We eventually gave up on the items left behind being picked up and we shipped what we could afford and left the rest and made our move to Idaho. Reaching a woman named Sasha on Aug 23, she assured us our load was in the queue and she was the cust Svc manager. We felt relieved but we're never able to reach her again. After many more attempts we were called back by Jeremy who apologized profusely and said they would reduce the cost and our delivery would come by Sept 3. No show by the 3rd and no response to calls or emails. I had planned to put a stop pmt on our check upon delivery knowing they would talk to me then. After fearing we'd never see our possessions again, we got a call from someone saying our load wasn't going anywhere until we paid $600 for insurance. Jeremy responded to a text that they were being evacuated from the hurricane. Finally on 9/12 we got a call from Caesar in Calif telling us our load was on its way and would be there 9/16. We had no choice but to get a cashier's check for the full amount even though "Ahmed" the driver called and said to have a cashier's check for $3,000 and cash for the rest. The truck arrived at our storage unit on 9/16 and to our dismay the driver said he could not drive the truck close enough to the unit and would charge $400 for every hundred feet to the unit and $400/hour while waiting for us to hire another mover (recommended by the very kind storage unit worker) to carry the stuff from the truck to the door of our unit. Ahmed was threatening, harassing, and hideous. We are elderly and had our niece and the mover we hired on the spot basically move the entire load from the truck to our unit maybe 20 yards from the truck. Never ever hire this disreputable company.
