DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! The entire company is full of filthy liars and crooks. I should've known when Thomas told me he had to trick his wife into marrying him that it was a bad sign. But he was funny and promised me he wasn't a broker. Their price was the best so I booked the move. After giving a three day window for the movers to come, they never showed up. They called and said that other moves were taking longer than expected. I was moving from Texas to Washington and had to be in Washington in less than 6 days for my new job. Therefore, I had to leave my keys to a friend for them to be present for the movers. They showed up 2 days after I left the state, finally. And all of the movers were younger than 20 years old. It took them 7 hours to load up a one bedroom apartment. And they didn't give us any paperwork to keep. Once I found a house in Washington I asked Thomas what I needed to do to get my items delivered. He gave me an email address for Kayla and said to tell her my address and I was ready for delivery on July 24th. A few days go by without any response. Multiple emails later, and many calls later, I finally get to talk to Ashley. (Their customer service line is notorious for putting you on hold as soon as they answer, and then hanging up on you after 10 minutes. Plan on being on the phone for a good hour if you ever want to talk to anyone.) Ashley told me that they were waiting on a truck and driver to head this way and it could take 7-14 business days. I kept calling and emailing for two weeks and finally got a hold of Jessica on August 8th. She said they were waiting on an email from me with my new address and when I was ready for delivery!! She then said it could take up to 30 business days to receive my stuff. Extremely frustrated, I sent her a new email AND forwarded her the first email. Of course Thomas disappeared throughout all of this. I finally got a lawyer to reach out to them and he sent a demand letter to Thomas and eventually Erica and Ashley as well. After two months, my items were finally delivered today. Not only did they charge me an extra $600 dollars than what was due upon delivery, they also are missing many key items and have completely destroyed other ones. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that the movers completely left my computer desk in the apartment at Austin. On arrival today, my king size mattress is missing, a tv is missing (the other tv is broken), half of a giant bookshelf is missing, a dvd rack is missing, my kitchen table is pretty much ruined, and all of the boxes are falling apart. Remember me saying Thomas wasn't a broker? Well there are three different companies I am dealing with, Arrow Moving, Executive Moving & Storage, and Superior Van Lines. STAY AWAY FROM THEM ALL!! This has been a complete nightmare. And I can't write enough bad things about them. This is completely ridiculous. The worst customer service, and the worst experience I have been through.

Move size: 1 Bedroom Home Service cost: $2683

I did a short move with Superior Vanlines up the west coast line to Seattle. I moved with them once before coming to San Francisco from Chicago. I think they're wonderful there. I always work this sweet woman there, Leah. We get along wonderfully, and she always works with me to make the move smooth. I never have a lot to move when I'm relocated, and I always anticipate something going wrong, but.. NOPE! Awesome phone agent, and both moving teams have been a delight! I hope to be here in Seattle for a long time, although if I must move again I will call Leah.

Move size: 1 Bedroom Home Service cost: $1230

I had received several quotes before making my decision to with this company. The sales rep was super friendly and made sure I had listed all my items so that there were no surprises. when the movers showed up they were very kind and respectful, they also did an excellent job of taking care of my fragile items. I was told delivery could take anywhere from 7-14 days which was fine however they actually got there ahead of schedule which made it that much better. If I would definitely use them again if I ever move again lol and I would recommend them to friends and family and anyone else looking for a great moving service.

Move size: 3 Bedroom Home Service cost: $2800

I wish I would have never been sucked into this. When I mentioned to the salesperson that I was concerned about their reviews, he went on to tell me how people tend to exaggerate .. and it was all a bla bla bla .. I should have followed my gut instinct.

I scheduled a move for my kids who were relocating to Buffalo, NY. We exchanged many emails about the dates, about the costs, about everything. No detail was left out of my communication.

The movers were delayed 2 days! Their internal communication errors and misunderstandings led to this. Communication failed.

My kids belongings were finally picked up. They said the movers were kind, and did a very good job in packing the van. So the quote went up from the original estimate by about almost $3000. No big deal. IT was a lot of stuff. Movers left for Las Vegas Saturday. My kids followed a day later. It took my kids 4 days to arrive in Buffalo, arriving on a Thursday at 2 AM. That same day, at 2 PM, Superior Van Lines called to inform them that the moving van had been stolen "probably between Sunday or Tuesday".

Today is 5 months after their loss, and the "third party" insurance has denied paying the claim for the stolen property! CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS?

Imagine the worse. It is worse than that. I am very upset. There are more deatils that I could write but I won't. The loss is almost $30,000! My kids do not have to funds or means to replace anything stolen. Winter has come, and all of their winter gear sits at LVPD (mysteriously, about 15 boxes were located at a storage, but the "suspect" would not talk so LVPD closed the case.

They waited as they were told to do based on days prescribed by law to pay a claim. And now this!


Mover, BEWARE!

Move size: 1 Bedroom Home Service cost: $4000

From the time we paid our deposit, we struggled to get hold of them to confirm our pick up date. They did not answer emails or phone calls until very shortly before our move day - the red flags were already there. Once they walked in and looked around, they almost tripled our estimate and demanded that we sign all paperwork and pay half before they remove our furniture. Not only did they take three trips to remove our furniture, they left about some items it in our garage which we clearly informed them we had to vacate. After the third pick up they then left three items in our garage of which we never received. They threw our valuable pictures, china, glass lampshades in boxes without sufficiently packaging them which resulted in most of our items arriving broken at our destination a week late. We suffered broken headboards, lampshades, damaged leather couches, smashed coffee tables, mirrors and dining room chairs, boxsprings etc . To follow will be photos depicting the extensive damage. They held our furniture hostage and kept increasing the price yet again when they discovered that they did not like our destination driveway.

We ultimately spent about 10 000 dollars on a move that they originally quoted 3 500 dollars on. We have submitted all of the photos of our broken items a month ago and Superior Van Lines have not had the decency to respond to us via email or telephone to compensate us. They have seriously abused and neglected us. DO NOT USE THEM - they are SHAMELESS.

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $9331

Folks beware !
They will show up, move your items in their truck and then foot you a bill AFTER the fact for any overage .
They also have NO sympathy and have you sign your life away with no resolution.
They had me fully packed, midnight rolled around then was hit with a double bill, told them to unload the truck, the white trash driver threw my mattress in the street and said they were going to throw everything into the street b cause they were not obligated to put it back in the house.
Beware of there shady practices !!
The best thing to do is find a local company that moves out of state, you have more recourse

I gave em’ a shot… and… I’m pleased with the job they did. I read the reviews from you fellow travelers and I’m shocked it’s the same company. Double checked their license number and everything, The guy I spoke with on the phone was a sweetheart and precise with my inventory measurements. Kayla was my dispatch representative and I had a great rapport with her every time we spoke. I agree with delivery the time being longer than liked but everything else was wonderful. Definitely not a “one star” company. Enjoying Salt Lake City!

Move size: Studio Service cost: $1100

Don’t do business with these people. They quoted me a price and everything seemed fine. I paid my deposit and life went on. About one month from my move date I needed to contact superior about moving my pick up date back. When I made the reservation I made that very very clear that this date wasn’t set in stone and there was a good possibility that I would need to move my pick up date back. The rep assured me it was no problem. People moved their dates often and as long as I gave them 72 hours it would be fine, he assured me several times I could call him anytime if I had any issues or concerns. I never spoke to him again. He also pressured me for the deposit by playing that “lock in the winter rate” card even though I wasn’t sure about move date. Anyway here I am frantically trying to get ahold of someone ANYONE at this “company”. The phone would just ring and ring. I called my reps direct line and the main company switch board. Nothing! Finally I called my bank. In tears I explained my situation and they saw that the deposit came out as “‘moving company” that’s it! Lol! Just moving company. No company name. My bank said it smelled like a scam. Thank God I was able to dispute the charges and get my money back. STAY AWAY
These people are the same as the Texas superior van lines which is permanently shuttered. Funny thing, about 2 weeks after I disputed the charges I get a call from someone claiming to be from superior. They told me that my rep had an emergency and that’s why no one answered. Um what? Your entire company shuts down when one salesman has an emergency? Gtfo of here with that. I told them I wasn’t interested and hung up. Immediately called their number from my invoice and got “Hello”. Yeah it’s not a legit company folks.

TL;DR
They've kept my stuff in Vegas 2 weeks longer than they've quoted me fore, won't tell me why, over charged me, keeps telling me they'll call me back and never have. I still don't have my things

I booked with Dave. I wanted my things delivered around July 1st so Dave suggested pickup on June 19 or 20. He said that would be plenty of time to get my stuff from Utah to Michigan. They called on the 19th to let me know movers would come between 4 and 6 on the 20th. This was as discussed. I took work off, and waited for them to show up. I was told to expect a call 30 minutes before they arrived. They never called. I called them about 5:40 to find out what was going on, and the office had closed, so straight to voicemail. I called and emailed Dave, with no response. The next day, Dave didn't respond, the office didn't call me back, eventually the movers themselves called me telling me they just woke up and were on their way, a move yesterday had taken longer than expected, but still- no one called me! I had to miss 2 days of work, one that really screwed me over. Movers were fast and efficient, went over paperwork just fine, all was well there. On June 28th, I received a call from the office, asking me for the "okay" to start loading my things on a truck for delivery. I said yes, I was concerned because this is 3 days before my stuff was supposed to get there, and they were just "getting a team together to load the truck". Since then it has been a nightmare of run-around, ridiculous and terrible customer service. I've tried calling over and over to find out where my stuff is, and no one can give me a straight answer. They tell me it's supposed to take 2-4 business days to load my stuff into a truck, but it's now been 7 business days and it still my stuff is sitting in a truck in Vegas! We were over-charged nearly $200, and can't get anyone to tell us why that is. We've been told we will be called back around a dozen times, and never got a call back. I've wasted so much time on the phone with these people with no help. It's now July 11th, and my stuff is STILL in Vegas, I'm still overcharged, and still super annoyed!

The absolute worst mover I’ve ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I moved from Las Vegas to Missouri. This company told me to ignore the reviews, they were a different company just having the same name. We were quoted one price and changed almost $1000 more then the quoted price. Then they called and said they would be leaving early and would deliver in 3-4 days. I made arrangements to get into my apartment early so they could deliver. Then they called Tuesday and said we would be on a different truck but they would be there on the original delivery date. The day before we called to check status and they hadn’t left Vegas yet due to “mechanical problems”. They finally left Vegas on the original scheduled delivery date of Saturday and said they would be delivering Tuesday. They called me Monday afternoon to schedule the delivery. They called me back Monday night to say “dispatch gave the driver a last minute pick up and will not be delivering until Wednesday”. I am now out an additional $400 in hotel room fees and the early access to my apartment. The only response they will give is “in the contact we have 30 days to deliver.” If I could give negative stars I would. Stay away from this company. They are definitely not a reliable military mover as they claim to be. The military would not put up with their B.S..

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $4000

The moving company, Superior Vanlines picked up my personal items in total of 36 boxes from my garage in Henderson (near Las Vegas) on 10/28/2020 with the promise that our items would be delivered by November 4th, 2020 to Florida. We were told by the company that our items were being shipped that night to Florida.

We were relocating to Lutz, Florida and decided to have our household items and family clothes shipped. The broker company named Move Smarter has quoted us online, and assigned our items to Superior Vanline for shipping. We had paid the Move Smarter broker $550 deposit upfront, and paid Superior Vanlines a deposit $ 550 in cash on the day our items were picked up. They both seemed as a legitimate company.

After 2 weeks of not receiving our items as promised, we started calling both companies to get answers. Neither of the pick up phones or give straightforward answers. Someone finally picked up at Superior Vanlines but was very rude and said that they were waiting for a cargo van to ship our items next week. That did not happen obviously. We kept calling them every week but they hardly every pick up their phone, if they do pick up, then they are very short vague and rude to us. I finally had to fly back to LasVegas from Florida on November 25, 2020 in attempt to get our items back and ship with another company because we had our important documents in the boxes that we needed immediately. However, they did not let me in their warehouse, were very rude and told him to leave. They promised me that they "plan to ship our items the next week to Florida". I took their promise and flew back to Florida wasting $300 on airplane tickets. They did not keep their promise again, and we have not received our items still. My friend who lives in Las Vegas went to their warehouse to check the status on December 16, 2020 and was told that they are not planning to ship our items or give our deposit back. They told my friend that we have to pick our boxes from their warehouse by December 18, 2020. What is this? a harassment? a humiliation of human beings? a discrimination? Disrespect of their customers? are they playing some sort of a joke with us? I do not understand this company and their bizarre customer service.

We live in Florida now and cannot burden other people to pick up our items and pay another company just to pick them up and bring to a storage as we no longer live in Las Vegas. This will cost us another $500 at least.

Besides, the company who took our items should not play games this way with customers back and forth. They took our items from our garage because they needed a business and promised best customer service and on-time delivery. However, as soon as they took our money and items, they just dumped out boxes in their warehouse and did to care anymore. I had 20 different quotes from various movers and had to pick this broker company, Move Smarter, because I thought they were decent. The broker company does not wish to deal with this either, I keep calling them without any resolution so far. I am frustrated, my little daughter will have no Christmas tree this year because of them, we have no warm clothes to wear, no personal items, no kitchen items to use, no documents we need for work, no picture or all memory items that we will never be able to replace. We have not slept well due to this stress. I have never been treated with such disrespect from a company in my entire life. This is not only disrespectful but also illegal. They should not be doing any business with this type of false promises and customer abuse. I feel abused, humiliated, disrespected and lied to. I have a high blood pressure every day because of this issue. I am afraid this is affecting my personal and family health.

Move size: Partial Move Service cost: $1700

Do Not use this company. They are deceiving, and borderline criminal. My original $7k estimate to move across country ended up being over $12k. They will ask you for a list of all your stuff, then give you a way lower estimate of what it actually is. My 1700 CuFt turned out to be 2700 CuFt. At $3.50 per CuFt - that's $3500+

The Criminal part: After the movers packed everything up and gave me a final bill - they added a 10% TIP on the bill and told me that if I didn't pay it, my stuff was not guaranteed to show up undamaged !!! He also threatened that additional charges would be added for a 'shuttle service' if I didn't pay the tip.

The Movers showed up 2 days late, were smoking pot in the truck, and had a different 'friend' inside the cab each day.

They will tell you what you want to hear, but PLEASE read the small print. my promised 10 day arrival time was 3 weeks. Now I have to deal with claiming Damage. An absolute nightmare.

Move size: 3 Bedroom Home Service cost: $12000

Our move from Henderson Nevada, to Gold Beach Oregon was a fiasco from the start. We were quoted a total price of $6,000. By the time it was over, the price went up to $12,100.

Our original salesman was Matt, So nice and helpful on the phone and made sure we had his direct phone # to help with everything. Not, once they had our down payment money, would not answer or return calls. Four days before the move, we received a phone call to count the boxes to be moved, at that time, the price jumped to $8,700. We were told there would be two professional movers and a Forman to over see the move. Not, there were two local movers with a 26’ Uhaul truck. Once they started to load the truck, every piece was tagged and counted. After the truck was loaded, the price went to $12,100. I was then told to either sign all the paperwork or they would unload the truck. We had two days to be out of our house due to the sale of our home. There were several items that were damaged by the movers. This shady outfit offers $0.60 per pound per item to repair/replace and damaged items. A new $400 metal cabinet was destroyed and they are offering $60,00 to replace? An insult to say the least. By the time we received our goods, the process went through four different company’s. There are too many items damaged to mention. Please do not use this company for your move. Bait and switch. ANYTHING BUT PROFESSIONAL.

My dealings with Superior Van lines located in Las Vegas Nevada on South Jones boulevard.

First they were late three days on picking up my stuff, the contract that they had was $300 more than the contract I had.

the customer service is horrible they do not want to hear about anything or try to fix anything.

the delivery is with an 18-wheeler and if they feel like not delivering your stuff they won't they were fully aware that I live in an apartment complex and that their driver might not be able to drive it in, other 18 wheelers have entered the complex without any problems but they refused and said I had to get a shuttle and charge me $350 more. I told them I didn't have that money.

so they proceeded to put my stuff in storage charged me $400 more and is now holding my belongings hostage.

I have a clue where it's at and now I not only have to pay them the $400 more but have to get people to move my stuff and rent a truck on top of that. even though that's what I paid them for they said they deliver door to door service that's not true.

hopefully if and when I get my stuff it is all there and all intact
