There are hundreds of things they are doing in a really professional way that they don't even brag about.

Just read your contract properly and you should be more than happy with their service.

Just best one in the market there is.. hope they don't increase their bit higher price than market

Move size: 4 Bedroom Home Service cost: $4440

People usually leave reviews when something goes wrong. I'm doing the opposite because this company actually exceeded my expectations. I nearly hired someone else until Shannon took the time to explain the entire process without trying to rush me into booking. The day of pickup, Kevin noticed a loose leg on my dining table and reinforced it before loading so it wouldn't shift during the trip. I honestly never expected that kind of attention. Opening the truck in New York felt more like greeting old furniture than inspecting for damage.

Move size: 1 Bedroom Home Service cost: $2510

My eight-year-old daughter burst into tears because she thought her dollhouse wouldn't survive the move. One of the movers smiled, carefully wrapped it with extra padding, and promised she'd see it again exactly the same. Shannon had already coordinated every detail beforehand, and Kevin made sure that dollhouse was one of the first things unloaded. The moment she saw it sitting safely in her new bedroom, her tears turned into the biggest smile. That kind of care and attention made our move priceless.

Moving is stressful, especially out of state. I interviewed 6 companies and went with Summit Van Lines, and I’m glad I did. I’m a tough but fair person on reviews since it often helps others do their research and make a decision. Hands down I had the best experience with the team at Summit. They are a very professional team and if you want piece of mind on your move, the choice is simple, choose them. Sammy the sales guy is a wealth of information and experience, I was sold the day I met him. The support team is on all the time, Katie and Vered is quick to help and follow up, and most importantly the crew that packed , loaded me up was fantastic. If you want to get others to quote, don’t waste your time, most are brokers anyway, take the stress off and go with Summit.

Move size: 1 Bedroom Home Service cost: $1745

I booked this move while dealing with a hectic work schedule and expected at least a few headaches along the way. Instead, Katie made the planning process surprisingly simple. Every email was answered quickly, and she kept everything organized from start to finish. When moving day arrived, Tovers introduced the crew, reviewed the plan, and got right to work. What impressed me most was how carefully they handled a collection of antique furniture that has been in my family for decades. Everything arrived safely, and the entire experience felt far more professional than any moving service I've used before.

Moving from a third-floor apartment without an elevator sounded like a nightmare. Thankfully, Vered was incredibly helpful during the scheduling process and made sure every detail was covered beforehand. Kevin arrived with a positive attitude and led a hardworking crew that never complained despite countless trips up and down the stairs. They wrapped furniture properly, protected fragile items, and worked efficiently all day long. By the time everything was unloaded, I was genuinely impressed by their dedication and teamwork.

I contacted several moving companies before making a decision, and Katie was the reason I chose this one. She was informative without being pushy and took time to answer questions other companies brushed aside. On moving day, Patrick managed the crew with confidence and kept everyone focused. The move involved two separate pickup locations, yet everything stayed organized from beginning to end. It was refreshing to work with a team that actually delivered on what they promised during the booking process.

What started as a last-minute move turned out far better than expected. Vered helped secure a date on short notice and stayed in touch right up until moving day. Kevin and the crew arrived exactly when promised and got straight to work. I was particularly impressed by how efficiently they loaded the truck while still taking precautions with delicate items. Their organization prevented unnecessary delays, and everything reached the new home in excellent condition. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Our office relocation involved desks, filing cabinets, electronics, and years of accumulated equipment. Sammy conducted the estimate thoroughly and understood the complexity of the project right away. On moving day, Tovers coordinated the crew effectively and made sure everything was labeled and placed correctly at the new location. Downtime was kept to a minimum, which was extremely important for our business. The move was completed efficiently, allowing us to get back to work much sooner than expected.

Worst moving experience in 40 years. I served 25 years in the military and made lots of moves. The move with Summit was far beyond bad. There were problems in communication. Lucky I speak Russian so I was able to talk with the driver. The crew was late and had no energy.
I had packed everything, but moving the boxes and furniture to the truck took forever.  Despite the slowness I was able to make my plane. When the shipment finally arrived at the destination, two book cases were damaged beyond repair, the headboard had a 3 inch gash in it, a decorative wine rack has several welds broken and the finish was scraped off. The finials for the piece were also missing. Two of the boxes were soaked with condensation from within the van. It is clear from the condition of the furniture that nothing was tied down during the last segment of their deliveries. Don't deal with these people. The office crew is also reprehensible.
When I tried to invoke a portion of the contract that would have saved me money, the disagreed said that was not how the contract should be interpreted. After further discussion I was told to have the cash ready on delivery. Cash only.  The 'interpretation' of the contract was paramount to extortion. Yes, I said extortion. For future client, be aware they will hold your belonging hostage until they get what they want. You've been warned. Beware!  .

Service cost: $1475

Summit Van Lines moved us from Florida to Tennessee at a cost of $11,000. Only after the driver left did we discover the damaged property and missing box. To the tune of approx $10,000 to repair or replace. TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS.
Short story regarding our claim: since we did not identify these damages on the day of delivery, we were out of luck. And this after having paid additional $1,000 for replacement insurance.
Summit was dismissive, unprofessional, and totally deserving of my ZERO STARS rating.

Move size: 4 Bedroom Home Service cost: $11000

Packing:wardrobe boxes, were turned upside down in truck. One had no bar, clothes on hangers just thrown in with other things on top.

Areas started packing then move to something else. I had to go behind them call attention to missed items.

Legs and remotes for beds not packed with bed.

Left all their trash behind.

Unload: day late and could think of nothing but getting to the next job. Boxes not put in right rooms.

Desk and entertainment center damaged. Given different stories as how to get reimbursed. Bet I never do.

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $6000

I had the smallest move possible, below their minimum requirements for a move, but still they managed to misplace my large box with the highest dollar value (and personal value) and a brand new vacuum cleaner. I actually believe they stole the box because it doesn't make sense that my biggest box was misplaced somewhere and can't be found?? I'm so upset because all I got was a sorry and I didn't get ANY money back from the insurance either because I didn't take photos. I had receipts of the most expensive items, for example a minor stock of jewelry for my eCommerce store (yes, I know that was stupid but my tiny car was packed to its fullest and I needed space for my two dogs), but no photos so I didn't get a single cent back.

Don't be as naive as me believing they will take full responsibility for your things. Expect the worst and take photos of EVERYTHING. I will never use a moving service again. Did I tell you that my nightstand was broken too. They messed up 50% of my stuff!! They told me when I called that they were checking with prior deliveries, but they never called back when they promised. I had to call and call to get any answer whatsoever.
