My family used Silverback Moving of Grand Rapids to relocate our three bedroom locally this past weekend. Extremely pleased with the service. The team was quick, efficient, and did not leave our home until the move was complete.

All was handled very well with Silverback Moving Michigan. My sister and I will be moving my mother from Indianapolis, Indiana to Cincinnati, Ohio this upcoming June. I will be using Silverback Moving of Grand Rapids partner company, Schea Van Lines, to take care of everything. Good dependable service!

I contracted Silverback Moving & Storage in Grand Rapids to relocate my offices from Kentwood to Byron Center. The service was great and the price was very reasonable.

My office consisted of several desks, banker boxes, and rolling filing cabinet. The transfer of fixtures from the old office to the new was done with ease.

I found the service when looking for a local agent of Schea Van Lines to take care of the move. Extremely glad I did! Second time using this company's services and I will most certainly again.

Quick, efficient, and experienced! I phoned Schea Van Lines to facilitate our move from Franklin Village, Michigan to New Port, Rhode Island. Not our first time using a moving service for cross country moving. By far the best experience I've had yet. Schea Van Lines had Birmingham Michigan's Siverback Moving take care of packing and moving in Franklin Village. Schea Van Lines then took the shipment to New Port where we were serviced by their local Silverback Moving agent.  
I was extremely impressed with the overall move. The price was the best we found when shopping and the good service was far more than expected. I will not be moving again in the near future TG! But I will be suggesting Schea Van Lines and Silverback Moving & Storage! .

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY If you don't want to waste your money, if you don't want to help the movers lift furniture, if you dont expect your estimate to be over 100% off, if you expect experience and professionalism, if you don't want to be insulted, if you want a decient moving experience:DONT USE SILVERBACK MOVING COMPANY. Cameron, the salesman, came to my office to personally look at my furniture and charts. He told me that I would need 3 men and it would take 5-6 hours. He said that they would come at 2:00PM and should be driving the truck to the drop off destination, which was about 10 miles away around 6PM. They did not leave for the drop off location until 10:00PM, by Midnight it became obvious that we would be there until 6AM unless my son and my wife along with myself helpped. WE ARE SENIOR CITIZENS AND LIFTED HEAVY ITEMS JUST TO GET THE JOB DONE. I weigh 180lbs and the movers were about my size. As for experience, my son had to supervise the movers as they complained of being unable to get things in elevators that only took common sense to do. WE were not finished until after 2:00AM. What should have taken 5-6 hours took 12HOURS. When I questioned Cameron about this he said that he told me in the begining that this was a "guestimate", 100% OFF!! He told me that he felt that he deserved all of the money ($1,800) but did not need my business anyway. I'm a physician, my only mistake was not reading all of the reviews with this company. We recently used Silverback Moving of Chicago, an agent of Schea Van Lines, to move our daughter from Lincoln Park to Rochester, Michigan. The office staff were extremely informative and very detailed with their assessment.

The day of the move went great. All was handled in a quick timely manner with no inconveniences to my wife or my daughter. I will definitely recommend Silverback Moving and Schea Van Lines for any moving from Illinois to Michigan!

My husband and I used Silverback Moving in Birmingham to move a portion of our 3 bedroom home from Rochester to Traverse City earlier this summer.

We were assisted by Julie in the office during the scheduling phase. She coordinated an in-home estimate of the items going north. They gave us a flat rate of $3,600 for the overall cost of service. This flat rate even included boxes.

The day of the load all went smooth. Three gentlemen came to our home and performed perfectly. All pieces were wrapped and handled with care. Very impressed with the crew leader Joseph, he provided exceptional service. The unload was just as smooth. Time lines were kept and the gentlemen did not leave until we were completely cared for.

The move was the best I've had yet. I definitely will use this service in the future.

I hired Silverback Moving to relocate my offices from Streeterville, IL to Birmingham, MI. We were extremely pleased with the efficiency and service we had received. After contacting the Illinois office for the firm, an estimator was sent out to our office the following day.
The gentleman who visited us gave our office manager great moving tips and resources to make the transition smooth. There was a great emphasis put on minimizing the downtime of our office. Considering I have a very fast paced office, this was most important to my staff and I. The competing bids we had received planned the relocation to take a total of four days. Considering we only had four desks and filing cabinets, four days seemed unreasonable. Silverback Moving promised a two day transfer to our new office.
They kept their promise. An excellent staff of three arrived at our building the morning of the scheduled date of operation. They quickly prepared the office than proceeded to load for shipping. Six hours later they had arrived at their facility in SE Michigan where the items were stored for the evening. The next morning they made a quick, prompt, professional delivery. All special requests we had made were handled accordingly. I was extremely impressed with Silverback Moving. I will most certainly be using them in the near future for record storage.

This is the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with.  I booked this company 3 weeks in advance for a 12:30pm move on a weekday only to be left waiting for 8 hrs when they finally showed up at 8:00pm they looked at our stuff and said it was to much and they were not dealing with it at this late at night and left.  Fortunately 2 men and a truck helped us on Friday and got us moved.  Do not use Silverback moving under any circumstances they are totally unprofessional, rude and should not be in business.

Excellent all around. From the time of scheduling to the actual moving day, the service far exceeded our expectations. We had phoned Silverback Moving of Chicago to schedule. After speaking with their office in Lombard, their Van Line carrier sent a rep out to take an in home inventory. They quoted us at only $3,650 to move our 2,600 sqft home from N. Barrington IL to Bloomfield MI. By far the most reasonable quote we had received. The quote held true, we were billed ony $3,760 after all services were rendered. I've used agents of van lines in the past. I was very impressed with the attention to our timeline and keeping the overall price near the estimated cost. Service far exceeded our expectations. I will happily use their services again in the Birmingham area.

Worst movers I have ever used. They damaged many items at the time of pick up. put holes in the walls fo the home I was leaving and even more holes in my brand new custom built home. Scratched floors, railings, broke furnityre an I had the compressor stolen out of a freezer that they were storing for me. They refused to call me back after calling everyday for two weeks. They wont fix my wall of my furniture. They charged me $2000 for moving my items into my house then asked for a tip bc they said they don't make enough money. they were the highest charging movers with the lowest quote. They are crooks and they were slow and very dishonest and they swore like sailors even with my kids around.
