We used Silverback Moving & Storage of West Palm Beach, Florida to bring some items stored at a moving company in Fort Lauderdale up to our new home after our restoration of our four bedroom was completed. I was extremely pleased with their work. I will use them again. The staff were efficient, the office was beyond helpful, and the pricing was very reasonable. Thank you Silverback Moving of West Palm Beach! By far the best experience I've had with a moving company in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Silverback Moving & Storage shipped my firm's office fixtures from our Tampa office to our facilities located in Delray Beach. This was the best moving company I have contracted in the West Palm Beach area. Every detail was handled to our liking and both our equipment and fixtures were handled with care. I will use Silverback Moving & Storage exclusively for my West Palm Beach moving and storage needs.
My wife will be sending some pieces to family in Lake Forest, Illinois later this year. We will use Silverack Moving & Storage West Palm Beach to facilitate the services. We were pleased when we dealt with them commercially, I am more than comfortable having the firm serve my wife's family. Thanks again Silverback Moving!

I've lived in Boca Raton, Florida, for nearly twenty years now. I have hired several moving companies in the area. Originally I hired a moving company to relocate my wife and I to the Boca Raton area. We then changed places three times after coming down. This most recent time we hired Silverback Moving in West Palm Beach. Fortunately we weren't taking much after our estate sale. None the less I wanted someone from the Silverback Moving office to come out to look at the home prior to scheduling service.

The day of the estimate a rep came out to the home. He was extremely helpful and detailed in his notes. This was nice considering the other moving companies I phoned in the Boca Raton area had no interest in even coming to the home.

The day of the move we had a staff of three and a single truck. The team worked quickly and professionally. This was a relief considering I've experienced far different in the past.

We moved from Boca Raton to Boca Raton so it was a move of shorter distance. When all was done and handled the move actually cost less than we had anticipated and we didn't have to lift a finger. Silverback Moving in West Palm Beach is by far the best moving company we've had since living in the Boca Raton area. I don't plan on moving soon, but ill phone them if needed.

Worst service experience of my life. Company was extremely unprofessional, they showed up 2.5 hours late and didn't call (I had to call them). Workers were so lazy and rude.  After 1.5 hours of arriving at my house, NOTHING was loaded on the truck.  They were in the basement 'wrapping' one TV stand.  At this point, we called the supervisor and said we weren't paying for the horrible, unprofessional, slow service.   The supervisor came over and made the workers move a little faster.  The supervisor told us "if you all help, it would go quicker." We obviously hired a moving company because we didn't want to do it ourselves.  Items were damaged, walls were ruined and my husband had to unload the entire truck with one of the workers.  The other worker sat on the truck and pushed items to the end.  Don't be fooled by the low hourly rate, it isn't worth your tears, sweat and stress.  Plus they still up-charge you for everything so it ends up costing what a 'professional' company would change.  DO NOT USE. BUYER BEWARE.

I hired Silverback Moving and Storage to move my apartment from my grad school college in Rochester Hills, Michigan to my new apartment in Delray Beach, Florida. Fortunately my employer took care of the moving expenses, but I was still responsible for finding the correct company for the job. I chose Silverback Moving because they were prompt and and paid attention to detail when scheduling the service. They relocated my two bedroom home and a motorcycle acrossed the country. All went great. At the end of the load, they strapped my bike to the wall of the truck at the end of the truck. All made it safely down. The delivery was delayed a day, but that was to be expected. Next time I will be moving in Palm Beach County, I will use Silverback Moving.

I had a 10x15 storage in Royal Oak I needed picked up and delivered to our new home in Birmingham. I called Silverback Moving & Storage. They estimated our service required a staff of two handlers and a single truck. I scheduled the date and the rest was handled for us. They had estimated total service would cost roughly $850 entirely. When all was said and done the final bill came to be $694, less than anticipated. Impressed with the work of the staff and the professionalism of the office, I will use again.

My family used Silverback Moving last October for both moving and storage. We needed three months of storage while our new build was being finished in Rochester. Silverback Moving came out for a quote, estimated about 8 hours. On the actual move date out of our home, Silverback Moving arrived with a staff of three men and one truck as arranged prior. The men were great and about all promises were kept. Our pieces were stored at the Silverback Moving facility in Waterford. Pleased with service, I'll use again.

In December 2015, I contacted Schea Van Lines to get a quote to move a one-bedroom, 500 square foot apartment across town and they provided a good, competitive quote. Several other moving companies I looked into estimated a three hour move from approx. $450. Shea Van Lines quoted around $430 and three hours so I decided to go with them.
On the day of the scheduled move, the two young men arrived just a few minutes late, but complaining of exhaustion and in need of a break before even starting. I let it go and decided to help them in anyway I could to move items from the apartment from the truck to make the process move faster. A friend of mine was over helping as well and it seemed as if we were moving items to the truck faster than the two "professionals."
They were finally done..3 hours later, after taking numerous breaks and working at a tremendously slow rate.
I was furious at the unprofessionalism occurring during the moving process so I contacted Shea to discuss other options. The woman on the phone was very compassionate and stated that she would contact the owners to follow up with the issue.
In the meantime, the two men continued to take breaks, complain of how tired they were and bump furniture into walls, etc. The move was finally over after 6 hours and a SUBSTANTIAL amount more cost than estimated. At end, while completing paperwork, the mover called his boss to confirm total costs and while on speaker phone the boss asked, "Is she happy now?" as if them giving me a small discount would help with the almost double amount of the quote.
I don't understand how people are in a business and A. Cannot accurately quote and B. hire unprofessional and clearly unqualified individuals and C. do not follow up with customer complaints.
I have tired several times to follow up with both Schea Van Lines and Silverback Moving in regards to this matter and have received one text message stating they would call, yet they never did. My phone messages, also have not been returned.
I surely hope this terrible scenario does not happen to other customers.

I got several estimates from different companies and this was in the average range, thought it is a company can use. The move estimated for one day between 1200 to 1700 and 8-12 hour So I was expect one day and in these range. But things go to different direction, the first day run 7 hours may be 1/3 moved and not night cloth box and needed thing goes to gather, and I have to pay 1100+ plus tip, I do not have sleeping and change cloth in new place but all mattresses moved, can no take shower, no towel find, and one bed missing part can not assembly. They demand the tip above certain amount or will not come next day, and next day no one come, I have to call to get someone come in the afternoon, second day run long hour till middle night and had problem can not delivery last load, and third day (my work day) had to wait truck coming with different crew. The manager ask to pay 1600+ for second day before my furniture can unload. That will start the clock for third day with unknown hours, estimate was 4.5 hours. That could put the total charge to 3200+. Do you expect the cost beyond estimated that much. And that is cash price. If you paid credit rad 5% more plus tip. Do you have cash on hand at that time double the max estimate? When I questioned the manager, how the cost be come that high. I need explaination, since I moved several year ago from this house ( just move back) by other company with extra sofa set for basement that I sold before this move, in one day one load. So I know it can be done in one day one load. Other company estimated Same. Now I am in the third day with delivery furniture unassembled, boxes all in one place unsorted. But I was asked to pay before they can unload. When my wife did not agree and asked me to get police to present, they drove away my furniture. Later texted me to their office to pay first. The latest text I got was they will starting charge me storage fee. They took my furniture without my agree and want to start charge storage fee. Do you want to use such company that would not give you a earnest estimate and keep adding price and if you want to question, they will take your furniture to force you pay in order to get your stuff?
