Rockstar Pro Movers

Rockstar Pro Movers helped me to move the contents of one of our retail stores into storage. They arrived bright and early, worked in a professional and conscientious manner and brought along positive attitudes. We had very large, heavy furniture that had to be disassembled and moved in a unique way and they got it done. I was extremely pleased with the service they provided and the work that they did. I will certainly be using them for future moves, both personally and professionally.

Move size: 3 Bedroom Home Service cost: $5360

The company I contracted with, FLASH VAN LINES, subcontracted my TX to OK move with Rock Star. The RS driver, Ashton, stoled my pickup fee of $1300. Never picked up my HHGS. Guess I should be thankful that I still have my items. An additional comment regarding FLASH. I did my research prior to selecting a moving company. Why I chose FLASH is because they advertise no subcontractors! “Our Drivers Are Our Drivers” is displayed on their website. It was through my BBB complaint that I discovered that ROCKSTAR was subcontracted by FLASH MOVERS. In my opinion both companies (FLASH and ROCKSTAR) should no longer be licensed by the state of FL and the Department of Transportation.

By far THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!

They damaged 90% of our furniture. Damages were estimated to be well over $50K.

Their insurance covers $0.60 PER POUND not the dollar amount. So, in my case they DESTROYED a $20,000, 300lb piano, so I would receive $180 for this damage!!! Not to mention all other furniture.

UNFORTUNATELY, I started to check all their licenses after the move, turns out that their Carrier Status with CPUC (California Public Utilities Commission) is SUSPENDED

Every moving company in CA must have a number with FMCSA, their operating status is: NOT AUTHORIZED

Rockstar handled our move to San Diego last month. They came prepared and on-time. The cost was reasonable. We had a bit of an issue with going a bit over the initial estimate since we under-estimated how much we had to move.

They worked with us on determining a new budget that we could both live with.

The moving team packed our things with great care and un-packed them from the truck into our new condo where we instructed them to.

It’s hard to find a good moving company and Rockstar came through for us.

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $3550

Unfortunately, I wish I would have read the bad review before booking them. The person with the damaged furniture was spot on. We moved only a few miles away and it took a team of 3 nine (9) hours to move our two bedroom apartment. Everything packed and ready to go. They were slow, they asked me to go get them food, they took ALOT of brakes and we had to pay for everything. On top of that they asked for more money to move one a small couch up the stairs. They had an elevator for every thing else. They sent a “specialist” to mount a small tv he only made holes on the wall and said he couldn’t mount the tv we still paid for the time he spent trying to figure out where the holes went. At the end of it all my husband had to help them move things with his bad back because if he didn’t they would have probably spent the night. Our bill $1700. My sister in-law moved to Florida for less than that full service too. Don’t waste your money. if you want slow, expensive and rude go ahead but be warned they are terrible

This was the shortest move I've done in 2 years from the valley to the city, 22 miles. I'm really beside myself.

The crews that worked were professional, prompt - all around awesome.

However, there was one 20 x 20 framed piece of art that never made it to my new place, as well as a box. I packed and numbered every box myself and upon arrival, I checked off each box except for 1, as well as the framed art. Aside from getting the runaround about that, I was told that I "misunderstood" the manager's confirmation that they'd hold my belongings for a night or 2, even up to a week without charging me the $200/mo fee but for their paperwork it had to be there. Then i was terrorized to pay the monthly fee for 2 nights. They claim the minimum is 3 hours. However on unloading day, it took Alex and his helper 1.5 hours to unload but next thing I know I'm being held hostage for 4.5 hours - because it took 1.5 hours to load my items from storage into the truck. It's basic math but I was definitely overcharged and robbed.

Supposedly there's a claims department that will get back to me. Just like the Alex said the owner would get back to me ...

UPDATE: Wow - The owner finally contacted me! All I can say is his reply is more inflated than his rates and professionalism. I didn't refuse to pay anything, Issac offered because it was straight move with no packing or unpacking, there wasn't even any unwrapping of furniture because I did it but then again what mover isn't a terrorist who just takes whatever they want while gaslighting you. I didn't even sign the form stating that I received all of my items but Alex said the owner would contact me and sort it out. I'll never see my framed & signed Andre Saraiva Mr A ever again due to their lack of professionalism and thoroughness.

And if asking one to repeat themselves or spell out their name (but sound it out instead) because I can't understand their accent or "perfect English" is not at all racist, it's asinine.

Move size: Studio Service cost: $1800

DO NOT USE ROCKSTAR PRO MOVERS!! I cannot stress this enough! Rockstar Movers lie, have terrible communication, and are overall extremely unprofessional. We were moving all our stuff from California to Arizona. I was told the truck and movers would be there Monday between 8am and 10am. Even though we paid for the “White Glove” service where they disassemble and pack everything for us, we still had most of our stuff packed in boxes ready to go for them. By Noon on Monday no one had showed up. I called asking for an update, I was told I would get a call right back – No one called. I called again at 4:00pm, again with a promise someone would call me back – No one called. I called at 5:00pm and was told the truck will be there the next day. No apology, no reason why they didn’t show up, just they will be there Tuesday between 3:00pm and 5:00pm. They did show up on Tuesday, so we made our way to Arizona. The Rockstar contract reads that they will call you and confirm you are available to receive your items. Once they do that the truck will arrive 3-4 days later. We received that call on a Saturday. We were told the truck will arrive to drop off our stuff by Tuesday or Wednesday at the latest. Wednesday came and gone and no truck came. Still no truck by Friday, so I called and asked for an update. I was told I would get a call right back – No one ever called back. I sent an email asking for an update on Saturday hoping I would get a reply on Monday. No reply. I called on Tuesday (one week after the truck was supposed to be there) and the trend of someone telling me they would call me back and never do continued. To jump ahead…2 weeks after the truck was supposed to arrive and after many calls and emails, I received a call from Brian, apparently a manager, at 9:00pm at night. He apologized and didn’t understand why our stuff was put in storage and he would absolutely call me to confirm a date our stuff would arrive…HE NEVER CALLED BACK! When our stuff finally arrived 18 DAYS after we were told it would arrive, they only has one local guy to unload, and reassemble, all our stuff. He was a nice guy, but 1 guy to unload a and reassemble a 2 bedroom house?! He would have been there working for 2 days if myself and a friend would not have helped unload. (So much for the “White Glove” service!) Rockstar Movers lie, have terrible communication, and are overall extremely unprofessional. DO NOT USE ROCKSTAR MOVERS!!!

An Email I sent to Rockstar UN-PRO Movers:

am deeply dissatisfied with my move and the scam artist mover you sent!! I was less than EIGHT TENTHS OF A MILE FROM THE STORAGE FACILITY!! ONLY ONE STOP! $947!! And he tried to charge me $50 for credit card payment! I used this company twice and never, have I paid anywhere near $1000! This was highway robbery!! I had two of your guys move me at the height of the Pandemic—Norm and a tall and strong guy like Norm and myself! We cleared out a storage unit, went back to residence, moved the same about of furniture UP AND DOWN STAIRS, then onto location I am currently!! Same distance from the truck to my apartment with an elevator, and we were through by 3:40 PM! You send me Nick, fairly strong and Mike, an out of shape older guy overweight, speaks NO English, for this move and they moved like SNAILS! I was lifting the boxes they used the dolly for! This was a SCAM!! An UTTER MAR ON THIS BUSINESS! I gave a rave review in the past but not now! I was so SCAMMED by Rockstar NOT Pro Movers! A STUDIO APARTMENT TO A STORAGE FACILITY LITERALLY EIGHT TENTHS OF A MILE AND I WAS CHARGED $1000!!! UNBELIEVABLE! Even the people at public storage said that was wrong and the movers were SLOW!! Then, he tells me that he turns his clock back on at 5:00 PM at 4:12PM. At 5:30PM he tells me , hey we worked past 5:30PM! EFF OFF, SCAMMER‼️

Let’s NOT forget how he just stopped the move and REFUSED to do anything when he knew they’d be paid!! Also, I smelled WEED SEVERAL TIMES! And the language BARRIER was obvious. BECAUSE things they were supposed to take THEY LEFT! And ITEMS they were SUPPOSED TO LEAVE, THEY PACKED! Slamming my boxes around, expensive paintings that they better hope there’s no DAMAGE! I’ll find out today! And they also refused to listen to me on how to maximize the space inside the unit! UNBELIEVABLE! I’m also reporting this move to the BBB. I need an itemized invoice too.
