I am a disable pensioner i engaged reddybay removilist to move the big furniture items i couldn’t move myself they came to look at how much furniture and access of property told me a big truck and 2 men,on the day they show up in a small truck and informed me they couldn’t do the job without 3 men even though I moved all the boxes and small items and furniture I could do myself to keep price down but they insisted that it would be quicker and cheaper so I had no choice even though it wasn’t that much furniture only stuff I couldn’t do myself.they had to do 2 trips in small truck because they didn’t stack up gear they said it is quicker this way even though the move was less than 5 minutes drive to new house job took 9.5 hours and most of the furniture was left in garage because the time was getting away and they had to get back to depot to move furniture from one of there trucks to another for a trip north the next day,some of the furniture they told me was to big to go upstairs so left in garage ,me a disabled pensioner and my 15 year old son we’re able to move upstairs and it landed me in hospital to get my shoulder operated on,i helped the 3 also move furniture in to truck to try to hurry it up they had 2 young removilist sitting down on there phone a lot even sitting in my house on my lounge on there phone’s they sent me a bill over$ 1700 I emailed them from hospital awaiting surgery and asked to speak about bill which would have been a lot bigger if they didn’t put most of the furniture in to garage,i rang 3 times over a month they said they would investigate and get back to me after my 3 phone call they said they would take off just over $100 i tried to explain but was told i shouldn’t have left it a month even though I emailed from hospital when I got invoice and rang 3 times to be told they would get back to me i feel like they took advantage of me they told me I should of said something to the 3 removilist on the day but a disabled person telling 3 big removilist they not doing their job properly and wasting time please did you really tell me that unhappy about hole situation Darren Cleveland
