Wow... not a good one

How bad are these movers? Let me count the ways.

First, they let me schedule my move through their fancy online portal. Great start, right? Wrong. My move was set for 9:00 AM. Guess who didn't show up at 9:00 AM? These guys.

I texted them, and they said, "Someone should be calling you." Spoiler alert: no one called. An hour later, I text again: "Still no call." Crickets. At that point, I canceled because, honestly, if they can't handle a schedule, how are they supposed to handle my stuff?

These movers are the definition of unreliable. If you value your time, your sanity, or your belongings, I'd recommend running far, far away.

Terrible movers, terrible communication, terrible experience. 0/10 would not recommend.

Moving Experience.

I highly recomment them. The movers, Steve and his co-worker, who was new on the job, were excellent. We had a rough start to our moving experience since we got a smaller truck than we were told due to some miscommunication. Somehow both of them were careful to make all of our furniture fit. They were very professional. The price was also reasonable.

PLEASE DONT use them.

I had an appointment scheduled for 11 AM. They never showed up. I called over and over and over. It was obvious they were ignoring my call. Someone finally answered at 7 PM after I called the after hours number from the email. They ended up rescheduling me for the following day. They played stupid as if they did not know what I was talking about when I mentioned them not showing up the day before. They acted as if they did nothing wrong. The first thing he mention was me tipping him after we were done. HE ASKED FOR TIP BEFORE THEY EVEN MOVED MY STUFF. They were smoking weed while they were moving my furniture. They damaged my couch. And after they move my furniture I did not give them a tip. So he got an attitude and made a very smart remark. He was obviously upset and had an attitude. The number one thing I was upset about is them not showing up the day before. I had my entire apartment packed up and ready to move and they never showed up and ignored my calls. It was extremely inconvenient. The day they came one of the movers called my phone by mistake. I thought he was talking to me at first. But he was talking to another customer. I heard him in the background talking to someone else telling them that he tried to called them and he tried to email them. It was very clear that based on what the mover was saying that they did the same thing to someone else. Not show up. So they must do this a lot. There are other companies that are cheaper. I posted a photo of my damaged couch. DO NOT USE THEM!!

Don't use for hi end items.

They moved us fast, but don't use them for hi end items, unless you watch them all the time, because they will break your item then run. James tried to fix the dress he broken will screws and couldn't and told me he'll be back the next day but never returned. James said they have insurance up to $300 for troubles like this, but when we called the office and talk with Patrick he just hang-up in your faces, when trying to solve the problem. These people are bad news unless you don't care about you items.

THey do not return your call once you schedule.

They were four hours past their 2 hour window when I told them to forget. They would return my call and tell me the driver would call me in thirty minutes and an hour later he called to sat he would be here in an hour. An hour and a half went by berfore I gave up. Office staff is rude and they do not answer the phone. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

Horrible customer service.

Everything started off completely fine. Had two movers come see me Kevin and Jason Wolf. I specifically asked to book Kevin because I've used their service before a few times. Upon arrival everyone was friendly and I expected this move to go thru smoothly. About an hour into the move, Jason Wolf feels the need to complain to me about how some of my belongings are a nuisance for him to move. Stating "Normally customers have their items already set up in a way that's more convenient for him to move". He then goes on to say " I'll have to be cleaning the back of our truck with your stuff like bags etc all over the floor ". He huffed and he puffed and seemed exasperated like this move was a bother to him. Instead of complaining , he could have formulated a solution as far as charging me for more boxes or anything. To hear a grown man 15 years my senior complain and whine like a small child is too much for me to stomach. He even had the audacity to argue with me saying he doesn't care I'm not paying him anyway I'm paying his boss. What kind of logic is this? Isn't your boss paying you for your labor as an employee ? If you don't want to move people's belongings find a new profession. A seemingly good move completely turned into a nightmare.

Can I leave 0 Stars?

They showed up about 15 minutes late, which wasn't a big deal in itself, but oh well. More importantly, although they were very fast, some items were damaged - they wanted $300 for insurance which is crazy, when I was told over the phone that they were licensed and insured. Never did they say I had to pay extra! I have private insurance for transportation of goods so I used my company instead.

Next day started looking for items and found lamps, computer accessories, hard drives, keyboard/mouse, among other things nowhere to be found, as well as my microwave!! Did they really think I wasn't going to notice? Multiple phone calls were not returned, then I was told by the guy answering the phone, when he finally answered, to call the driver myself. I couldn't believe it!

Needless to say do not use this company, they will steal your stuff. I have filed a claim with my CC company. I even tipped them $20 each - 3 guys - man was that a mistake!!

Most unprofessional movers ever!

This company doesn't even deserve the 1 star! I wish there was an option to give them zero stars. The WORST and most unprofessional, disrespectful business I have ever dealt with in my life. When scheduling the movers I explained the house and what we'd be moving and looked to them to recommend how many movers/trucks we would need. The person on the line seemed confident we only needed one truck, but we decided to have 4 movers come to make things go more quickly. Well, the movers arrived the day of the move and first thing one of them says when they get out is "we should've brought 2 trucks." Well, if that's the case. The day was off to a rough start from there. The movers were polite and moved quickly at the beginning. Other than the fact they reeked of weed and alcohol! It was to say the least a long day because they had to unload a truckload and then go back and repack another truckload. So by the time they are unloading the last truck, they were incredibly sloppy just throwing stuff in different places, not asking where it goes. I had metal shelving units in our garage bent. They placed a mini fridge (which they specifically told me not to defrost ahead of time) on our hardwood floors in our bedroom behind stacks and stacks of boxes. So we didn't get to it until the next day. Well by then, the water had seeped out and pooled into our hardwood floors. They lost the screws to my infant's crib and the solution was "well you can go buy some at Home Depot." I have an executive office desk with a hutch that attaches. I specifically told them when taking it apart to be sure to lift it up off the desk so as not to scratch the top. Well, they did that when moving it out of the old house, but in the unloading process, they slide it all the way across my desk and gauged a huge scratch into the desk. And then instead of telling me before they left, they decided to pile boxes on top of the desk so as to hide the damage.

I'm a pretty reasonable person and although was upset about these things I think could've easily been avoided, I realize things happen. I figured I would call and they would work something out to either fix or replace the damaged property. I've worked with other LEGITIMATE moving companies in the past and this is always the process. That's why they are insured. Well, that's not the cases for this company. Pick Up & Go Movers was incredibly rude when I called about the damages the next morning. Asked me if I tipped the movers..like that mattered. But yes, I fed them all 2 meals and tipped them $50 each..granted, I didn't find any of the damages (aside from the missing screws for the crib we were trying to put together so my son could go to sleep) until the next day. Then basically said "fill out the form on the website, and it's a 90 day process." First off, 90 days? 90 days seems like the extreme. But with little faith that this would be resolved, I did just that. filled out the insurance claim form. Waited 90 days. Actually waited an extra 2 weeks. Then called again and asked who I can speak to regarding my damage claim. The person on the line again said "fill out the form on the website." I told them I had already done that and he cut me off and said "It's a 90 day process." So I then told him it's been over 90 days so I'm looking to speak with who is in charge of these claims. And he said he didn't know who that was and he didn't even know where the form gets sent. So I asked to speak to a manager or owner and insisted that someone there must know where these forms get sent. There was no manager available then conveniently, so I left my information and won't hold my breath on getting a phone call back.

But my advice is find ANY OTHER MOVING COMPANY. These ones do not understand how to operate a reputable business!!

Pick Up and Go Movers.

First of all, I must say that the two gentleman who did our move worked very hard. They moved our furniture, some of which is very heavy, and did a good job with the exception of a couple of nicks in our sofa. Sadly, that is where the compliments end..On the day of our scheduled move, there was rain in the area and severe storms were in the weather forecast. I felt like it was legitimate for me to phone the company and inquire about their weather policy. I phoned and my call went to a voicemail. I decided to not leave a voicemail and instead phoned again ten minutes later.

A woman named Kenya answered the phone in an excessively rude manner. I told her my reason for calling and she snapped at me to read my email confirmation. She also accused me of calling excessively and that I had interrupted a "conference call." She proceeded to hang up on me. Dumbfounded, I really wanted to call back and ask her purpose for being so disrespectful. I chose instead to not subject myself to further ugliness. I would be fired if I treated a person in that manner in my line of work. The moving truck arrived approximately three hours after the assigned move time. We certainly understood that the weather could cause a slight delay, but three hours was unacceptable. Overall, the customer service and quality of this company is very poor. With no hesitation, I absolutely DO NOT recommend this company.

Pickup and Go movers are crooks.

Needed to book a company for my move that was coming up. I saw a sign near Austell that had pretty reasonable rates. I called and inquired about the date and times available. I set up a time and date. On the day of the move, I had everything ready and was waiting for the movers to get there. Well my apt time was between 1-3 and they called around 4:45 to say they were running late and would at my location shortly. They arrived around 6:00 and both guys smelled like they had recently smoked some marijuana. This should have been the 1st sign to cancel the move and contact someone else. Next they start loading the truck and drop one of my antique lamps. They told me to contact company on Monday and file a claim for the broken lamp. So they continue to load and I noticed that one of the movers keeps following me. So eventually he is in the same room as me and starts asking inappropriate question. This has me feeling kind of uneasy and I call a male relative to come over until they finish the move. So the relative comes over and he walks in while the guy is making another pass at me. He tells the guys to hurry up and finish the move and to stop asking me anything. Well now they say that they need full payment before taking truckload to destination. Told him I would pay him with cc once move is complete. They refuse to complete move until I pay. They charge me for 4 hours and move only took 3 hours. They refuse to refund my money. So they arrive late, smelling like marijuana, break a antique lamp, make sexual advances, overcharge me and then refuse to give a refund. Please do not use this company. I contacted company and requested money for broken $300 lamp and they send me $30.
