Oasis Moving and Storage

Oasis utilizes wnat is in my opinion, a bait and switch contracting scheme.  They indicate to you that they will perform for -- in my case $1500 -- then arrive, pack your belongings, and after all of your items are in their possession, they will indicate that your contract price is increased for one reason or another.   They will present contract revision and rescission documents, but not explain the import of the documents.  they will make entries onto these documents after the the driver has left your premises -- entries which are very important from a legal perspective. After doing so, they will refuse to return your items packed, threaten to have them stored -- impounded is a better word -- and then extort additional sums from you.   Do not utilize their services.  Scrutinize all of their written documents very carefully.   Some of their documents carry text on the reverse side of that which is presented for review and signature, however, no clue as to existence of a reverse side text presentation is noted, or indicated by Oasis' packer/agent/employee.   Oasis sucked me into this scheme.  I am bringing a lawsuit against Oasis in the Eighth Judicial District Court, Clark County, Nevada.  I am experienced trial counsel with a very enviable record of winning,  If any of you out there have experienced a similar course of events with Oasis, contact me. NO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.  Lets just say they do not communicate well.   they don't tell you anything.. just read what we send you..  tell you one thing and do another.  so  they tell me that they have 1 to 18 days to deliver my stuff after I advise them I want it.   They send an email  saying they have received my request(i emailed them the request and they email me back saying I have to call.. really).. they send me another email saying they put it in a truck and it will be here in 4 to 6 days. well when I call them on the 5th day they have no idea about time frame.  They can't get a hold of the driver.  was told the driver  would call, he did not..  i ask the to confirm that that since they are delivering it outside of  what they promise they will not charge for having to deliver it on Monday, a holiday.. they never call me back and when I call them they act like of course.. one point I tell the delivery  coordinator when she says she thinks they will be Saturday..  but that is not the 18th days or the 6th day .  I have taken time off from work for this.  well am not looking at a calender I am  sure you are telling me the truth.. you don't have calender handy a coordinator??  when they  came to pack my stuff I adv them of two items to plz be careful with them..  they showed no  concerns about my concerns and when they arrived they were damage.. they packed heavy  boxes on lighter weight boxes so most of the things were smashed..  .

These ppl are the worst first off they do not put up or bring any if your belongings on time. They charge extra fees for trunk space used in the truck after you tell them in detail what’s in your apartment. When they finally arrive with you belongings late (30 days) they have multiple ppl belonging placed in the truck mixing your things with others. I had to pay the movers and extra 75 dollars because they measure the truck to storage and if they have to move it they charge you (I don’t get it either), basically the movers have to get a tip I guess. I had 3 TVs only 2 was listed and the other one was stolen. And after being quoted and told I was going to pay 2200 for my move if ended up being 3800. I couldn’t dispute it because they basically had my stuff and lost my Nike shoes this was by far the worst experience. As soon as the movers come to your door it’s like they’re upset and find an extra fee and management doesn’t care at all. So I had to pay extra to get my remaining items and didn’t get reimbursed for the items THEY LOST.
