Ghetto crooks.

GTS Shipping Window Inc are ghetto crooks. They will not handle your personal items with care. My household items were damage. What really hurt was that my sentimental items were damage to an extent of unrepairable. I found that there rats in there storage. Some of my boxes gotten chew through by rats. In addition, the blanket they use or there storage area could carry some invasive insect. I caught a few cockroaches that came out of the damaged boxes. I am planning to replace my bed mattress. I am afraid that could also carry bed bugs. One last thing, they will steal your belonging. My wine collection was stolen. I am so upset I can’t even put into words. I had collect those wines on my travels over almost 10 years.

Long-distance move from Washington to Maine

Criminal & Unethical.

Don't ever use this company. Unless of course you like to be charged way more than they quote and like the surprise of finding out days after they pick up your stuff. If you are lucky, you will get your belongings within 8 weeks of when they pick it up. Oh, and don't expect anyone from NW Relocation to ever communicate with you.   Bottom line: this company's actions are unethical and straight up criminal.

Long-distance move from Oregon to Illinois

Do not trust these guys.

Nothing these guys say in the sales process every becomes true except that the reputation of moving companies is horrible. Guess what? These guys are probably the worst ones out there. Where do I start? They claim to use Northwest based drivers, but our driver was from New York and doesn't even work for them. They nickle and dime you for everything. They even had the nerve to charge for extra stairs. They don't do any research on the destination, so they leave that entirely up to you. Lies, lies, lies. Do not do business with them.

Long-distance move from Oregon to Maryland

A lot of broken and damaged items.

When they arrived, the driver presented me with the paperwork to sign before unloading the truck. He was hours late and I was tired, so I signed it. First mistake. Pretty much everything that could be broken was broken. They dismantled a reclining chair that was never meant to be taken apart; a lot of the hardware was missing and the driver had no idea how to even begin putting it together. The assembly bolts for the bed were stripped and, once again, the driver had no idea how to even begin assembling it. My desk was crushed to splinters when it came off the truck. There were broken bits and pieces of my vacuum cleaner scattered in the street. It had to be discarded. Two small tables are missing. Most of the boxes were dumped upside down so I couldn't read the labels. Heavy boxes were stacked on top of lighter boxes so the lighter boxes were crushed. I would have done better to have a bonfire before I moved and hire two drunks with a pickup truck to move the unbreakables. .

Long-distance move from Washington to Texas

Movers.

Absolute worst move!.  I moved from Seattle to San Antonio.  I was told 3-4 days to get my things. Drove as fast as I could to beat them to SA.  They hadn't even loaded the stuff.  When it finally arrived 12 days later.  Things were broken, destroyed or mashed.  Brand new boxes were torn or smashed.  The dog food carrier had only 3 wheels. Cups, glasses broken. Plastic totes that have moved three time had the lids broken.  I have used Mayflower and United both and NOTHING was ever broken.

They flat out had no respect for my belongings. The adage " You get what you pay for "holds true for this company.  According to the BBB they are not accredited through them although they have it on the web site that they are.   The manager Gil lied about delivery date.  I had to have somebody drive 2 hours to be here as I had to work.  I should only have paid for what wasn't smashed or broken.  CASH ONLY, BEWARE. .

Long-distance move from Colorado to Texas

Worst Move Ever.

I was moving from Colorado to Texas, told it would take 4-5 days..6 weeks later recieved my items.  Not only was I forced to sleep on an airmatress for a month and a half, when we got our things they were missing items, items were broken.  They just didn't care.  Terrible customer service when I called in, the guy just got defensive saying that "he was just doing his job".  REALLY?!?! If you were DOING YOUR JOB, you would have probably found my missing guitar.  Which, by the way he called to say "he had a guitar, but its not my guitar".  WHY WOULD YOU CALL ME TO SAY THAT?  I took out movers insurance, but the deductable was higher than the guitar ($1000).  I told him that it was ridiculous to call me to say that and they can reimburse me for some cents a pound, but for a 5 lb acoustic guitar, sounds like it is not worth it.  These people just do not care.  SO NEVER, EVER, EVER, THINK ABOUT THIS COMPANY.  Do you want to sleep on the floor for a month and a half?  Do you want your valuables broken (my wife's pottery collection, which was wrapped and DOUBLE BOXED.  HOW DOES THAT BREAK?)

Save your money, save some time, because walking your things one at a time is faster than this company.  .

Long-distance move from Washington to Arizona

I'll show you my pics you will never use this company!

We booked a moving truck via the budget.  I was quoted several hundred less than what I got charged.  I even sold many of my items before the movers got there so there was much less than what I had gotten the quote on.
The entire booking via budget was a mess!  Then I was told that new relocation was my assigned mover and to contact them for any future communications.  I was promised a set date for pick up but then was told that I had to pay an additional 200$ for that day.   We had also made arrangements to have the entire bill prepaid by credit card.  Movers get to my home and try to demand cash or money order.  Argued me and I could barely understand the guys because their English was so bad.
I was told to pick a first available delivery date only to find out that they will not even load your stuff to leave until that date.  Made no sense to me!  This company is not open on weekends and there is no one to help you.  I called numerous times and would only get voice mails and no one returned calls.  There were times when I got through that they would put me on hold only to disconnect me.
We finally got through to pay the bill in full to find out they had all wrong numbers and a wrong delivery address.  Corrected info many times with company only to be told they still had the wrong info.
The driver called my emergency backup number instead of my cell.  Yelled at my mom that I had to pay the bill cash.  My husband called the driver back and explained that it was paid in full and the driver with very very bad English yelled at my husband for at least 10 minutes that we had to give him cash. The driver was unwilling to contact the office for updated info.
Finally, delivery was made and my boxes were all smashed up.  ( these were new haul boxes) one box was so smashed it had some liquid all over it.  All boxes but stacked in my garage and with no care or order of what was in it.
Computer monitor packed in original box was damaged.

If you do not believe me email me and I will send you copies of my pics, both of my items on the truck all over the place and in my garage.  Also, most boxes were placed upside down and boxes ripped up. I would have posted but they are on my phone.

No way to treat someone's belongings!  Especially for 2400$  worst moving experience of my life! Next time I will rent a haul and do it myself.

Long-distance move from Oregon to Georgia

NW Relocations moving company.

We contacted NW Relocations to move us from OR to GA.  When we did not hear from them as we were instructed we would be, we contacted them to get confirmation of pickup date and time. They did not have us scheduled for pickup until the day after we had agreed on.  We had to spend time getting this resolved and they arranged to come the day that was originally agreed on.  The morning they were to arrive to pick up our belongings, they were supposed to be there at 9am and did not arrive until almost 11:30.  The loading of our belongings was supposed to take no more than 5 hours.  Everything was packed and in a storage unit and it took them until 8:45 that evening to get our belongings loaded.  We only had 4 days to to be in GA and since it had taken all day we now only had 3 days to drive cross country. Once the delivery finally arrived, we had several items that were broken and a box that was missing.  We contacted the company and explained that we had missing items and could not get the issue resolved.  I went from customer service to her supervisor and so on until I was passed to the owner of the company.  It took almost a week to hear back from him only to be told they were not responsible for the "lost" items.  It was like talking to a brick wall and still not resolved.   I am now in the process of contacting the Better Business Bureau in hopes that something can be done but wanted to warn everyone else to avoid dealings with this company!

Long-distance move from Colorado to North Carolina

Avoid.

We contracted Northwest Relocation for our move from Denver, Colorado to Raleigh, NC. We received our initial quote from this company on 7/1/13 with a pickup day of 7/9/13. We then had an additional load which was picked up on 7/22/13, three days past the promised pickup time, forcing us to delay our move and remain in Denver while we waited. My phone calls were never returned and I was forced to make multiple calls daily to receive the slightest bit of help. My questions were repeatedly dismissed by every service agent I spoke to, all of whom frankly could care less about any of my concerns. While these experiences were unpleasant and bothersome, they were only the tip of the iceberg. Our move in date had been set at 8/1/13 since my initial contract with the company on 7/3/13. This date was confirmed at every juncture of the process without any mention of the delivery being delayed or altered in any way. I never received any follow up calls, emails or notifications of any kind, leading me to believe that everything was still on schedule. On 7/30/13, I called again to verify the delivery of our items. At this point, after a bit of arm twisting they conceded to us that our things may not be there until 14 days after the stated delivery day. While this is buried in the fine print of their quotes, it had not been mentioned a single time in any way from the plethora of representatives I had spoken to within the company. Our date of 8/1/13 was confirmed to me a minimum of 10 times without a single person mentioning the "delivery window" until after they had taken all of our things, charged us and essentially taken us hostage. We are now in an empty home with none of our things for up to two weeks. At this point Northwest Relocation has established a pattern of poor service and general disregard for customers that I find utterly unacceptable. Between service reps hanging up on us, supervisors "gone for dentist appointments" and representatives blaming us for the situation,I am disgusted with the way we have been treated.I fully understand the verbiage in regards to the delivery time is in the contract, however to not point that out or even mention it until two days prior to delivery is terribly negligent. On top of that, to take a disrespectful and almost scolding tone with a customer who simply wants to be able to start their life after giving you thousands of dollars is just wrong. We continue to call and essentially beg for anybody to talk to and help us with no results. Our things finally arrived on 8/17. The drivers were nice enough and everything was there and in decent condition, but we were so upset with the company by this point it couldn't be recovered. They didn't respond to our BBB complaint, in fact they called us and essentially threatened us for making it. The customer service manager told us we were liars multiple times and we were unable to get an official price quote until 2 days before. Overall, the lack of professionalism and general rudeness of this company was appalling. They were very slick in treating us well until we paid them and had our things, at which point a total 180 occurred. Had they been straightforward, showed they cared or empathized whatsoever I may not feel this way, but that was far from the case.Do not use this company.

Long-distance move from Colorado to Florida

I think this is the best they can do and that's sad.

Moved from CO to FL, which we had done the opposite trip of 4 years prior and received a relatively low quote over the phone based on the number of items we had to move. We weren't taking any bedroom furniture, no dining room set, mostly boxes of books and clothes and some small furniture. On the day the movers arrived, the price increased drastically. Went from a $1200 move to a $1900 move. FML. We inquired with the movers when we could expect our belongings to arrive and he said, 2 weeks. This seemed like a tolerable amount of time given that we ourselves planned on driving to FL. This is where I will tell you the single most important thing you need to know, READ THE FINE PRINT. In our haste we failed to read the details of our moving agreement. We should've known better when the price increased, but we forged ahead since we were stuck between  a rock and a hard place. The actual agreement says, that NO VERBAL AGREEMENTS are VALID. Yes that's correct, whatever the gent said on the phone about $1200 and the movers stating 2 weeks delivery time were not valid. By signing we also agreed that they had 21 BUSINESS DAYS from the first date we said we were available to accept our belongings. What's that you say, how could it take that long for cargo to make it 2000-ish miles when Google says that it should take about 30 hours if driven straight though? Oh well, also forgot to mention that the "movers' were really just fetchers. They took our stuff to a warehouse in Denver and left it there. Considering that I moved right before Thanksgiving, they legally didn't have to have to have it to me until Xmas.  They have a customer service agent named Julie who while nice is so very unprofessional saying, Mami, every other sentence. I read the horrible reviews of them after I made the initial, [EDIT] is up with my stuff after 2 weeks and decided to just not panic and to hope that Julie was telling me the truth about when our stuff would arrive and that no one would steal or lose our things. Oddly, oddly Julie called us on the day she said she would with the drivers name and phone number. Spoke with the driver and he was informative and pleasant. Our belongings arrived later than I would have preferred due to a random F-DOT stop right before arrival.  Thankfully, everything arrived intact.  For all the awfulness I have read mine seems like the best possible of a terrible company.

Worst Company.

This is how it went down. Pick up day went well (23 Aug 2013). Todays is 4 Oct 2013 and I don't hve my items. I've contacted the driver's and all I've been told is tomorrow and nothing. I'm afraid that my items are misplaced or broken. NW said oh we will take $120.00 off lol. All I ask you is my stuff and I can't get that. Some people may have had a great experience with them but do as you wish. I'm ex military and I know how moves suppose to go and it not like this.

Long-distance move from Washington to Pennsylvania

Avoid at All Costs!

This was the absoolute worst move I've ever experienced, and I've moved at least 15 times. I thought I was being moved by TransUnited, who had good reviews, but they brokered my job out to these guys. To start, they didn't show up until two days  after they were supposed to, causing me to start my cross-country trip late and lose hotel deposits. They held my stuff for 65 days, one week longer than my move-in date, and even though I was given 45 days free storage by TransUnited they refused to honor more than 30 days and charged me for an extra month of storage. Because they kept my stuff an extra week I had to sleep on a beach chair (and lucky me, got to pay for the privilege!) There were several items damaged, which I expected, but they also lost two boxes, one of which held a number of irreplaceable items. They were not worth much monetarily, but had great sentimental value and I am heartbroken over their loss. After three months the company has made no attempt to locate and return those boxes and given this experience I doubt they ever will. I cannot recommend this company.

Long-distance move from Washington to Nevada

Terrible.

I was waiting to see if I received a tool box that was lost in my move (they told me they found it) before writing my final review.  It never arrived.   My last minute move began with a quote from Budget.  This is the first problem.  They are middle men who quote low to get the sale, then the bad news when NW Relocation shows up and it's TRIPLE the price. He spent too much time bashing Budget and not working with his men this I felt put them behind schedule.   One of the workers didn't speak or understand English very well, he needed to be supervised but he wasn't and this caused most of my troubles with them.  He packed my moving folder with all my necessary papers, passport and money that was near my computer on the counter.  Mind you his job was to pack the kitchen items, pots, pans, etc.  When it was discovered that the folder was missing, Dan (the foreman) immediately blamed me.  Saying “that I was mistaken and often times customers say things like that and it wasn't true”. Practically yelling. He was pretty cold and unhelpful until he suddenly remembered seeing the leather folder himself.  Then he softened his tone with me. However, while unpacking the boxes, they didn’t repack carefully, my clothes got dirty and items were broken.  He also packed two bags of garbage that was smelly when I opened my boxes. Stupid and unprofessional.   When my items arrived, the delivery guy held my things hostage until I paid him in cash first.  He refused to take my items off the truck.  So I paid him.  then we were suppose to count the boxes to make sure nothing was missing, he refused to do that.  He then proceeded to hit on me asking to come back and make dinner for me and help me unpack.  I was disgusted.  Then around 10:30pm he called saying that he found a rug in his truck that belonged to me.  He said he couldn't bring it back because he was gambling and he couldn't leave his 'good winning hand’.  I had to get up and get dressed in the middle of the night to go get my rug.    In addition, most of my dishes were broken, my lamps were destroyed and my bookcase was damaged because it was never put in a box as promised.   Then finally, I called the office asking about my toolbox.  Neil said he found it and was tying to reach me.  Mind you he was calling the wrong number. He said that they would put it on the next truck down here.  When I never received it, I called and I was told that they sent it UPS.  I asked for the weigh bill number to trace it.  I was told that they lost it.  So then I said I could still find it with the credit card number that was used.  He then told me, that he paid cash so there's no record.  You tell me, what business does this?  You be the judge as to what happened to my tool box?? They stole it.   All in all, 99% of my experience was negative. .

Lost Rug.

We were turned over to this company by Delta Van Lines for a move from Portland to Minneapolis. They came late and finished in the dark. When items arrived in Minneapolis we found we were missing a rug. After several calls and promises by them of asking all involved if they had seen it, it was found to be missing and since they are only liable for .60 per pound liability on missing objects, they really do not care. Someone in this group now has a nice rug. They have changed the name of this company now to "The Moving Company" from Northwest Relocation, presumably because of bad reviews. Same owner, Gil Dorfman,Their phone number and ICC-MC # are the same. Just a way of trying to obfuscate which seems to be their M.O.

Long-distance move from Mcminnville, OR to Sun City West, AZ

Do not use!! You will be sorry! Damaged items, lost items, rude.

Damaged items, dirty items, lost items. YES on all three. We contracted with Coast to Coast moving in Florida. They sent us to NW Relocation in Portland to move us from Portland to Sun City West, AZ. Long story short, they have been rude, did not deliver a good portion of our furniture and 25 boxes which they "lost", or "misplaced". How does a moving company misplace or lose a customer's items? Upon delivery we asked the driver and helpers to carry our sofas into the house. We were told ahead of time that they would. The driver said no since we packed them in boxes ourselves. I told him my husband has a heart problem and can't lift much and being 70 years old myself and recently having foot surgery I could not lift them. The driver said "that's not my problem". The items that were delivered had many crushed boxes and furniture damaged. The day of our delivery I contacted the owner of Coast to Coast and he seemed concerned and caring and assured me we would be compensated and that Coast to Coast always backs the customer. What a joke! I sent an email to him as well as one of the owners of NW Relocations and no response in regards to compensation. After a month of looking for our missing furniture saying they could not find it, we started the claim process as well as going out and purchasing a new bedroom set (yes, they lost our bedroom set), and recliners to replace missing one's. 4 days after starting the claim process NW Relocation called and told us they found our belongings. WHAT?!!? A month after picking them up in the first place. We are now out the money we spent on furniture and other missing items we purchased to set up our home. You would think that since we went thru so much emotional and mental anguish over this whole thing and the lack of communication from the company did not help, that NW Relocation would get us our belongings as soon as possible. Also, work with us to compensate our move. We were told we will be treated like any other delivery and they have 14 days to deliver the lost half of our stuff. Are you kidding me?!? They are already in breach of contract but they really don't care. This company is not worth the anguish you will suffer if you use them. Coast to Coast told us NW Relocation is a good company and we could trust them to do a good job for us. Another dishonest statement. They are by far the worst company we have ever had the displeasure of doing business with. They also billed us $612.00 more when they came to load our items from our storage units. We felt we had no other option but to go along with it. Lesson learned..rent a truck and move ourselves! Don't trust this company!!

Long-distance move from Portland, OR to Orlando, FL

Unreliable, plus Unresolved Missing/Theft Claim.

GTS Shipping was contracted by national broker for my cross-country move. Pickup went fine, but be sure to clearly number and indelibly mark each box/piece on manifest as boxes may disappear. After one month paid storage and of 48 pieces eventually delivered cross-country, two large and heavy boxes of stereo equipment worth $3600 vanished. I expected some broken pieces but one well-wrapped piece was unacceptably abused.
Young delivery drop-off drivers even tried to con me with a lame explanation. With no investigation at all by GTS operators they immediately brushed me off to pathetic Anthem Claims to file claim. After 20 hours and 30 pages documentation they claimed I had no basis - absolutely incompetent. You may win claim if evidential pieces are damaged but forget it if you cannot absolutely prove missing items.
However competent they may be, they cannot guarantee no shrinkage. I have zero faith in this operator, who wouldn’t even divulge their “required” arbitration services, as required by law. Owners did nothing other than dismiss me at every turn, hestitating to offer any reasonable level of assistance.

Long-distance move from Seattle, WA to Colorado Springs, CO

Worst move experience.

We have moved numerous times and never had the type of damage and subsequent treatment as we had with NW Relocation. There was an attempt to scam us into paying extra for delivery because they claimed the moving van did not fit into our condo's parking lots. Fortunately we had photos of other moving vans that were larger than the vehicle NW Relocation was using, which ended their attempt to charge us more money. However, nearly everything in our shipment was damaged beyond repair. They only wanted to pay us $500 for damages, which was a ridiculous compensation so we asked for arbitration. Of course they get to select the arbitrator. Unfortunately for us, their arbitrator "Moving Authority Support" is another joke. They have done nothing - they don't even respond to emails or phone calls. Our advice - DO NOT USE NW RELOCATION.

Local move within Idaho

Deceptive, shady, terrible to work with.

My husband and I moved cross-country from Idaho to Maryland in September 2019.

When we began our move, we thought we would be working with All Pro Moving Group, as this is who we originally were in contact with. Tthey were actually a brokering agent and would be contracting out our moving request to NW Relocation/GTS Shipping.

All Pro Moving Group wasn’t forthcoming with this information, and we didn’t realize we’d actually signed up to use a different company until we’d already paid our deposit.

A few days after the deposit, our sales rep from All Pro calls and says the original price estimate was inaccurate, and we now owe more in order to keep processing our move. They don’t do in-home assessments, so my husband estimated the amount of items we’d be moving over the phone. It’s impossible to adequately estimate such an amount. We didn’t have the time to deal with it, so we agreed to pay an additional deposit and moved forward.

This should’ve been the first red flag. Once we paid All Pro, all communication from them ceased. GTS Shipping/NW Relocation picked up our items in Boise, Idaho on September 18.

A crew came to our apartment to pack and load our items into a truck. Since our move was over 2000 miles, our delivery estimate was 5-21+ days. The paperwork also stated that they are unable to guarantee specific delivery dates. This was the first time throughout the process that we heard they couldn’t guarantee a delivery date --if we had known, we wouldn’t have worked with this company. We believe they are purposely deceptive about this because they suspect they would lose business if they revealed their true delivery timeframe upfront.

We moved into our new home on September 26.

Over the next few weeks, I spoke to customer service multiple times. Each time the agent, Vicki, gave me the runaround regarding the status of our items, and each time the delivery estimate changed, leading me to believe that no one actually had any clue what is going on.

Based on those conversations, it seems that this company holds items hostage in a warehouse until it is convenient for them to deliver. They will not tell you this at any point during the sales phase, likely because no one would do business with them having known this beforehand.
I attempted to locate some contact information for upper management, but couldn’t find any. I believe they purposely hide upper management’s information from public access because of the amount of complaints they would receive otherwise.
Finally, we were given a possible delivery estimate of October 21, and began to think that this ordeal was coming to an end.

On the day of delivery, the truck driver informed us that he had driven by our address to check for truck accessibility, and said that due to weight restrictions on local roads, he wouldn’t be able to get his tractor trailer into our townhome complex. They would have to transfer everything to a smaller shuttle truck - at an additional $500 cost. As we moved from Idaho to Maryland, we were not able to tour our new residence in person, so how were we to have known that the company’s specific truck wouldn’t be allowed access? This is something that the company themselves should assess far in advance and cover the cost of, not something that should be revealed to the customer on the day of delivery. We felt we had no choice but to pay the additional ridiculous fee because it had already taken them long enough to deliver our items and we were worried that refusing to pay would further delay delivery.

A quick Google search reveals that this company has many unfavorable reviews, and based on the service I've experienced so far, it's not difficult to understand why. I wish we had seen those reviews before signing a contract with the horrible business. And I wish I’d had more than 4000 characters to fully explain our ordeal.

Long-distance move from Edmonds, WA to Nashville, TN

Relocation from Seattle area to Nashville.

I originally contracted with Moving Pros US to relocate me from the Seattle area to Nashville, TN. They subbed out the actual move to NW Relocation / GTS Shipping out of Portland, OR. Both have steered and continue to steer me incredibly wrong. My complaint is against both companies and any other shadow organizations under which they do business.

Original (binding) quote from MPUS--$3954.77 on 08/14/2019 was done by Lisa Cross (good cop) over the phone (now I see that's a red flag!). At the time, I was asked to and paid a deposit of $1155.54.
Revised (binding) quote from MPUS--$4695.75 on 08/19/2019 was done by Nikki Price (bad cop), also over the phone. Despite my insistence that nothing had really changed from the original quote, she increased by cubic footage, the basis for charges, from Lisa's 642 to 727, letting me know politely that she has years of experience and is usually within 5-10%. If I take up less room than the 727 cubic feet, my charge will go down again. At this time, Nikki asked for an additional $1768.48, which I paid, even though the total difference between the first estimate and second was only about $700.
Enter GTS / NW Relocation, the physical shipper. Had I known they were the company who would be handling my goods, they would have never been allowed in the house. All you have to do is read BBB and Yelp comments to know they're shady as the arboretum.
The moving crew wasn't all that bad. Only Bryan spoke English but seemed to be pretty together. They did, however, do whatever they could to increase the volume of my load--taking pillows, etc., out of drawers and repacking them separately, not taking furniture apart, packing loosely, etc. They also had false numbers written on the inside of the truck showing cubic footage. Long story short, they packed my things into about 600 cubic feet, less than the original estimate, and want to charge me, now, for 950. They're currently holding my load hostage at an undisclosed location.

Scammed me out of an extra 5 thousand. Didn't get all my stuff.

Don't expect that everything will make it. I wrote my name email address and phone number on every box just in case.
They damaged the paneling in my home during the move. They
added another 5 thousand on to the price. It felt like a scam.
but I had no choice but pay an unexpected 5 thousand above the quote.
I have things that never arrived.

Terrible experience with movers.

My family moved from Seattle, WA to Tulsa, OK on December 7th, 2019 we were told to expect our furniture within the week. We did not receive it till January 24th at 7pm at night. Our family, with 2 small children had to live without furniture and limited clothing in an empty apartment during Christmas and New Year and well into January. After the initial deposit to APT Moving Company, an additional $559 was demanded before they would move the furniture. We had no choice but to pay it thinking that the furniture would be on its way. Unfortunately this did not happen, we had no contact from the movers after this, nobody answered the phone, or returned voice messages. The furniture was finally delivered late at night well over the 21 business days, and they would not empty the truck until an extra $75 was paid along with the final amount, as it was a "long walk" to the apartment which was a joke. Also the delivery driver could not speak English which was ridiculous as we could not communicate with him. The final amount was double what was originally quoted by APT Moving company. Several pieces of furniture were broken or damaged. This was a terrible and nerve racking experience and I would advise anyone not to use APT Moving company or GTS shipping. After collecting money up front they hold your furniture for ransom until they get more out of you, They are a bunch of deceptive and shady characters.

Not Movers, Destroyers Bordering on Criminal.

Criminals. They take your money, then badly damage the goods that are not lost along the way. I have pictures of their shoddy work as well as the condition of my things before they were moved. The company will lie every step of the way and blame it on the broker. This is the worst service from any company I have ever used and their customer service is nonexistent. The company clearly does not care about anything but the fee. Once they get that they do whatever crappy job they want. Where do all our missing things go? I have read other reviews where things have just disappeared. Where are they? Why can't you track them like I asked? Why do you ignore the fact that your company is horrible and continue to mistreat people and their things for years? Do your job like I did to earn the money I gave you. No exaggerations here. The truth and I stand by every word.

Long-distance move from Corvallis, OR to Boise, ID

Scams the elderly & disabled.

Kept charging my dad surprise fees ranging in the thousands of dollars, did not deliver on the date they were supposed to and then "customer service" said they can deliver any time within the next 20 or so days. The only answer to WHEN in those days is "they're working on it." My dad is elderly and disabled. I doubt the words I have for this company are allowed on this site. They're also associated with a company called Perennial that helps them get contracts, so no nice words for them either.

Long-distance move from Seattle, WA to Dallas, TX

Worst Service never ever I had.

Recently moved. Almost 50% items are broken or missing. At the time of delivery, delivery team provided truck parking address to check the truck. When I reach that place I didn't found any truck. When I call them they didn't respond and when I reach out NW/GTS Shipping company they said delivered everything. Almost to set up my home back to normal position it was nearly 15 K from pocket. They charge nearly 10K $ from my pocket. If possible I want to give 0 rating.
