From the beginning, when Sarah contacted me with great questions, then was able to provide me an estimate that was quite competitive, I was impressed. After my move, I've got to say that the cost was more than worth it. Yohan and his crew were on time, polite, efficient, and timely! These guys know what they're doing, and they have a great system: they communicate well, and work non-stop. I was surprised at how smoothly they were able to load then unload to my new apartment.

Move size: 4 Bedroom Home Service cost: $10360

They carefully wrapped my art work and furniture in plastic and blankets and took everything with them when they left - no mess left behind (including boxes I unpacked while they were still there). I also appreciated how they took some furniture I was getting rid of to donate for me. Other companies have charged high fees for taking stuff with them. I was so happy that they found a good use for older furniture items. Overall I recommend Next Stop moving company - they took all the stress out of the experience for me.

Move size: 1 Bedroom Home Service cost: $1570

It was a terrible experience using Next Stop Moving service,they made the whole moving process a painful and traumatic one.There are two thing in business which make happy customer ;trust and integrity this company has none of this. They kind of scammed us from day one.The people whom I talked initially -  Carline, Andrew went out of picture once Imade credit card authorization. Post that I had to talk with Luis who also gave me mental stress whenever I talked with him. They don't have their trucks for end to end delivery and your stuff gets transferred to another truck for delivery.  I gave an estimate of around 43 items, however they gave mean estimate for 38 saying it will fit in 500 cubic feet.On the day of moving their workers or contractor told me that the stuff will occupy 800 cubic feet and gave me a new quote increasing price from $2800 to $4500,  We end up discarding lot of our stuff , and using around 600cf in the truck. They are also charged us for packing materials and other surcharges. They promised one month free storage but that was also a lie, their loader named John,(idk if that was his correct name) himself put a date saying it’s just for approximation. After I moved to new location, I also called them to verify if they will store my stuff since I was still looking for an apartment, they said yes we will store it. However suddenly same weekend I got a call from truck driver that he will deliver my items tomorrow.Next day the same lady whom I spoke over the phone and whom had promised me that they will store the items, refused to store the items and told me that you already signed on a date and as per contract we can’t hold your stuff now. This was again very unprofessional and unethical way , again they cheated and did not kept their word, I had to literally stop my work and get a storage arranged . So I hope no one else have to suffer and will advise to avoid such business company. This company is also not BBB Accredited .

Move size: 1 Bedroom Home Service cost: $3423

Our original moving company had to contract out our job to Next Stop Moving, and it was . The loading team was 4 hours late than expected, arriving around 7 PM. Kirill (I think?) was the head of the team that came to us in San Francisco to pack and load our things; he and his team are the only reason this company gets any stars. This loading team was professional and efficiently disassembled our furniture and packed our things. The unloading team at delivery for our long distance move was TERRIBLE. They too were more than 4 hours late as well, and did not arrive until 8:30 PM. One of them flat out ignored me (a woman) when I went to greet them; he instead shook hands with my husband and only acknowledged me when I said that I am the one paying for this move. Apart from being sexist, the delivery team also assembled our furniture incorrectly, damaging the furniture, as well as did not tell us that one of the furniture was actually broken and haphazardly screwed the broken legs together.

The company should 1) not be sexist, 2) adjust the way they schedule long distance moves so that the teams are not hours late, and 3) ensure that the same people do the disassembling and assembling of furniture to avoid damage.

Maybe they would be better at local moves. I would not recommend them for long distance moves to anyone.

We had a major move from Delaware to Texas. Our original estimate was fine. However, the cost continued to pile on from there. We ended up paying almost 2x our original estimate. On the day of delivery, while going through our boxes, there were broken items in boxes that had been labeled as FRAGILE. I took pictures and let the company know. Only to find out that they are not responsible since they did not personally pack them. I will NEVER recommend them to anyone no matter the size of the move!!! The items that were broken were ones that can not be replaced and had been in my family for at least 20 years.

Where do I even begin with the nightmare that was my experience with Next Stop Moving Company? I recently moved from Chicago to Salt Lake City in August 2023 and thought I was making a wise choice by hiring professionals to help with the move. Boy, was I wrong!

First off, they didn't even bother showing up on the scheduled day. I had flights booked, hotel reservations made, and plans in place, only to be left hanging. They waltzed in a day late as if it was no big deal, completely disrupting my entire moving schedule and forcing me to scramble to make new arrangements.

And speaking of arrangements, their initial estimate seemed reasonable enough based on the accurate description of my items. However, when the final bill arrived, it was a whopping overcharge. It's like they saw my desperation and decided to take advantage of it. They've clearly mastered the art of luring you in with a reasonable quote and then hitting you with an astronomical bill.

The pick-up team they sent was a bunch of rude and unprofessional individuals. They had no respect for my belongings and handled everything as if they were trying to break it intentionally. The result? Nearly every piece of my furniture arrived at my new home battered, bruised, and in some cases, utterly destroyed. The summer heat didn't help either, as some items had melted due to the lack of proper care during transit.

But the misery didn't end there. They promised a specific delivery timeline, but my stuff took a full two weeks longer to arrive. When I called to inquire about the status, they couldn't provide any helpful information. They couldn't even tell me where my belongings were! It's like they were purposefully keeping me in the dark to add to my frustration.

And let's not forget the final cherry on top: the delivery process. They had the audacity to overcharge me AGAIN just to fulfill their contractual obligation of delivering each item to my new home. Their excuse? They had to park the truck on the other side of the street. Seriously? I paid double just because they couldn't figure out where to park.

Overall, my experience with Next Stop Moving Company was an absolute disaster. They turned what should have been an exciting new chapter in my life into a stressful and infuriating ordeal. The cost was double the initial estimate, my belongings were damaged beyond recognition, and their communication was non-existent.

Save yourself the headache and heartache. Don't even consider contracting with this company. You'd be better off throwing your belongings out of a window and into a dumpster – at least then you might have a chance of getting them on time. Next Stop Moving Company, you've managed to create a moving experience that I wouldn't wish upon my worst enemy.

Move size: Studio Service cost: $4500

Next Stop recently completed a move for me, and it was perhaps one of the most unpleasant moving experiences I have encountered. Not only were they misleading with expectations, uncommunicative of delays, and unresponsive to multiple attempts of contact, but also damaged some of my items.

I was told twice that my delivery would be expected at a certain time and both times that didn’t occur. The first instance was on 9/11/23 when I was told my delivery would be by the end of the week or early next week. Not only did the delivery not occur, but I needed to email/call the company multiple times to get an update.

On 9/21/23, after multiple attempts to get in contact, I was able to speak to someone on the phone. This is when I was told that the truck had broken down in Texas and needed repairs. They informed me my delivery should be early the following week. Again, this window was missed and I was not contacted to be told why there was another delay.

Not only should I have been informed about the truck being broken down, but also informed when my delivery window was missed. I shouldn’t need to call/leave voicemails/email multiple times to get a vague answer.

I was also charged an additional fee for my Peloton bike, for it to arrive damaged. If I’m paying an extra fee to have an item moved I would expect that it arrives in the same condition it came in.

Finally, I was told I’d get a call at least 24 hours in advance on my delivery. I got called the morning of from the driver saying they might be at my destination later that same day and that they would let me know by 2:00 pm. I canceled plans that day to plan for the potential delivery. At 2:30 pm I had still not heard back from the driver, so I needed to call for an update. He told me that they would not be arriving that day, but instead tomorrow morning between 8:00 - 9:00 am. The movers did not come at the indicated time, and I needed to call them hourly for an update until they finally came at 2:00 pm.

This type of service is completely unacceptable and could have easily been avoided with minimal communication. Next Stop moving purposely avoided contact with me and made up excuses for continued delays. When I reached out after the experience to speak to someone at the company, I never got an answer or a callback. I understand that these are “budget” movers, but I would strongly recommend paying any higher price to avoid using this company.

Move size: 1 Bedroom Home Service cost: $2700

They have a standard bait and switch tactic. I was quoted $3,400 and put down a $1,746 deposit. This is Aug 2023, pick up date Oct 27. They did not respond to repeated phone calls for a final contract. A week before the pick up, they 'updated' the quote to $4,734. The only change was my snow tires, which I had forgotten on the original inventory. By then it was too late to change movers.

The pick up went smoothly, but my belongings stayed in the warehouse for a month. Again, no response to repeated phone calls. When they did pick up, they made up a status, literally. One would say your belonging are loaded on the truck, another would say, we are loading in two days. Pick up date was Oct 27th. They finally delivered on Dec.7th, six weeks later. I was given 5 hours notice that they were arriving.
