When my family wanted to relocate, I made it my task to find the best mover in the industry. After doing my research online and asking advice from friends, it was clear that Nationwide Moving Services were up for the task. I went ahead and decided to use their moving services. After the relocation, my family was quite happy to have relocated with such an ease and truly appreciated the moving team for providing a wonderful quality service. Hire them out for having a memorable moving experience.

Poor service with several items destroyed or broken -- we haven't even opened the boxes or totes yet. The driver tried several time to get cash or additional money before he delivered furniture. We asked Nationwide if we needed to call the police at one point. The driver said he was unable to get his truck into the neighborhood which resulted in an additional $781 cash fee (the next day, a similar truck was unloading furniture a few houses down). Hired local day labor to unload and assemble furniture. If we to do over, we would go a different way -- the stress and intimidation and additional money made this move one of the worst experiences we have ever had -- DO NOT USE --- you will not regret it

Nationwide Moving is a moving brokerage company meaning that they do not perform any move and have no control/supervision over the move itself. They simply serve as a middleman who connects you to a carrier company and take a big bite (35%) out of your total moving expenses as soon as you book your move. The nasty part is that instead of serving as a middle man who should ideally work on behalf of both parties, they did group up with the carrier to deceive you into their low quality service.

Their cancellation policy is useless. They only cancel within 72 hours of you signing the contract and even within the 72 hours they do not refund you at all (only a coupon for their service).

The sales agent deliberately omitted a few of my furniture items from the list to bring my total move volume below a limit so as giving me a wonderful price. He then rushed me through signing the paperwork while on the phone and guess what: I didn't catch those few items among a list of forty and get into contract with them. Once I called the agent back to see why he dropped a few of my big furniture pieces, he simply said that's not a problem and they take care of all those things the day before the move so they do everything all at once. The day before the move, he did not answered my call and texted me to call the customer service.

To make the long story short, the day before the move, they doubled my price after adding the furniture pieces! The agent also mentioned the move typically takes 5-6 business days while during the day of move the carrier presented me to sign a paper acknowledging the move may take up to 21 business day. What could I do that time; refusing to sign the paperwork?! They were not transparent at all from day 1 and they deceived me to be bound to their contract.

They finally delivered the items after 27 calendar days (20 business days). A few items were broken and a few items were lost. They also did not reassembled the items they disassembled at the source mentioning that no tools were available. Reassembly was part of the service according to the contract, but on the footnote reassembly was subjected on availability of the tools! The name of the carrier company was Essential Moving LLC. Also, for the broken/lost items, they would reimburse me 60 cents per pound, which is roughly 1/10th of the actual item value. Everything was in their fine details of their contract, which I had to sign during the move day (when I was already bound to their contract I was rushed to sign on the phone two weeks before).

Yes, it was my own fault that signed the contract and paid a none-refundable deposit of (35%) without carefully reading the details. But this doesn't justify their deceitful, dishonest service from day one.

Please take these reviews to heart! This is the worst experience I've ever had with any service! It's going on 6 weeks now and I still do not have my belongings yet. Nationwide Moving is NOT a moving company but a broker. They broker out your move to the most shady places. The people they hooked me up with business address is actually a residential home address. I've recently filed a complaint with the Florida Attorney General and plan on retaining an attorney as well to get my stuff.

If you still decide to use them, don't say we all didn't warn you. YOU WILL BE SORRY!!

Moving has always been such a stressful experience that I was very anxious I couldn’t sleep for days. I can’t be grateful enough to Deana for putting me at ease with her kindness and organization and perfect scheduling. Nationwide Moving Services Inc team on the ground were so kind and helpful and fast my family couldn’t thank them enough. Scheduling was a breeze, then they arrived bang on time to get everything ready and they were incredibly fast and careful with the move. We had just painted the house and the whole team went out of their way to keep everything intact. Thank you all for an amazing experience.

We received a quote and placed a deposit based on the quote. A 'quality assurance' employee contacted us prior and increased the cubic ft AND the quote (by approx. $1,000) which required an additional $400 pymt. When the movers showed up, he said it was substantially more (even though we'd told them everything that was going) and said the $$ would be about 3 times the initial quote. We told them NO WAY and refused the move. NOW the sleazebags won't refund the over $1,000 deposit. Find a company that is NOT a broker and will give an in person estimate.

Similar to others on here, NMS is a broker and they subcontract the move out to another company. They make you go through a detailed process of listing all items to be included in the move and then double check this before the move so they should have a very good idea of the size of the move. That said, they quoted me one price and then when the movers came the price tripled!! I’m addition, the size of the move was severely underestimated so the subcontractor’s truck was too small to hold all of my belongings. I was moving out of state and had to give things away and put the rest in storage and then rent a Uhaul and drive that down myself. Please don’t hire this company. Find a company that actually does the move themselves.

I called this company with hesitation. After taking to customer service they made me feel like their company was legit. The customer service rep was respectful and answered all my questions to my liking. I was told that my household goods would be delivered 7-14 days from pick up. This was a major reason I pick the company bc of the turn around. The date of delivery another company comes to my house which nationwide sub contracted. They have several additional rules and contracts that the want to tell me and have me sign. They started telling me about additional fees for stairs which wasn’t provided to me during the initial conversation. Fast forward to receiving my items: it is now a week pass the timeframe that delivery was given as an estimation and I still haven’t got my items. Now I’m expected to solely deal with the sub contractor about my issues although nationwide is the one I called to establish business with. I am so frustrated and overwhelmed. My kids has started to and I’m forced to buy additional clothes bc I simply believe them and only packed for 2 weeks. Avoid using this company bc they are not transparent when it relates to what they truly offer.
