They go under alot of different names, they are a broker who low balls your quote after giving them all the facts and then hires other dishonest companies where the driver gets kick backs to charge you flights of stairs, distance, etc. I went from $2k to $4300 and no one ever called me when my furniture would arrive, they wanted to show up at 11 pm at night. How unprofessional, no receipts, a penske truck, horrible, dishonest and do not use. They will nickel and dime you for everything. I hope karma gets them back and they go out of business. Praying on others during an emotional time is disgusting and very unethical. If you don't pay them when they show up, they will just leave and you will never get your deposit back.

The shift of movement may indeed be taxing, but it became an ease, thanks to this particular company. Greg, Collin, Joseph, Brandon, and George were fabulous. They were respectful, dedicated, and very cautious when it came to handling my belongings. Soon after getting there, they showcased spectacular coordination and teamwork. They made sure my fragile items are well packed and not broken during the moving. The group worked diligently and their attention to detail was highly impressive. They listened to my concerns and the solutions that they performed without resistance to them impressed me. The move was done in a short period, and I was really struck by the professionalism of the employees. I am extremely happy with the service and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who wants a moving company that is both reliable and respectful.

I had an extraordinary great event with that relocation group. Also, Dean, Mark, Alexus, Todd, and Frank the team members were surely professional and polite. Punctuality was not an issue, and they worked as a team from the beginning to the end. Great were the movers and packers who cared for my property and made sure to have all the items safely packed. It was evident from the beginning of their efforts that they had great attention to detail and were committed to customer satisfaction. The staff was also very good-natured and polite, which made the process very enjoyable. They made sure that everything was in perfect order and even went beyond the package. I will express the opinion that the move is a challenge that is difficult and often a terrifying experience for some people, but this team has shown it to be an easy one. Their effort and fortitude were truly deserving of a commendation. I could not have had a more magnificent move. It is absolutely recommendable!

These movers were beyond what I had expected. Andrew, Robert, Max, Stephen, and Jillian were all great persons. They were not only on time but also very polite and they managed my belongings with the utmost care. The team worked very fast and made sure that everything was packed securely. They were also very helpful in the new getting a complete furniture arrangement, which was a great help. Team professional and positive customer service made our move much more accessible and stress-free. It is not usual that such devoted and diligent crew can be found and, thus, I can say that I am very pleased with the outcome. The moving service was of high quality and it is worth every penny, the only thing I would recommend is the company and reliable delivery services for people looking for moving with ease.

I just wanted to start off by saying that I was completely petrified knowing that I just bought a nice new house, and I had so many glass things and heavy stuff that I am just way too old to move. The day of the move, Nationwide was early waiting outside for 8AM to hit as that is when we discussed. They packed everything very carefully and packed it up so nicely. My panic began to fade and I actually left for lunch while they worked!! Thank you guys so much for helping me out in my time of need!

Nationwide moving is a BROKER who finds your moving company for you (something you can do on your own and save money). They “charge” you accordingly to what you have packed. That initial “quote” goes to them as their “broker fee” (ours was $870). We thought that amount was going to go towards the move. They send movers (regular people. No uniform. Penske truck. No sign. No logo. Just regular dudes). I was home alone and my husband couldn’t do the check while they put everything in the truck. They loaded the truck using all the space they could. Charged us $4k. Yup. FOUR THOUSAND DOLLARS! When the move arrived later than estimated. They didn’t want to let me see the inside of the truck before giving them the other half of the payment(mind you you have to pay in cash or money order because they don’t want to have any trace of the payment you made). All our things were stacked on top of each other. Fragile boxes were damaged. Things were broken. Pieces of things were missing. Use google. Use reviews. Do NOT hire nationwide to do what you can do on your own on google !! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, I have emailed them about what happened and they still haven’t gotten back to me. Don’t fall into the broker scam!!

Do not use nationwide moving services! They charge you an astronomical fee to use subcontractors to move you. They do not take into consideration any customer service complaints for damages or Subcontractors. Over 60% of my furniture was damaged upon delivery and since I did not pay an additional $10,000 for insurance, just the basic coverage, they only pay $.60 per pound. That means I’m paid approximately two dollars to replace my brand new coffee table! The movers themselves did not speak English or understood any requests I had. They were late over six hours, smashed fragile boxes, and we’re overall reckless with furniture. This has been the worst experience of my life, and the most expensive! Avoid them at all cost.

NMS is a broker, they take your money and send regular guys with a Penske truck to your home. Everything they tell you when you sign up is all a lie. If there is a God then these scammers at NMS will get their reward. They purposely underestimate the cu ft space you will need based on your home size to lure you in. Once you commit to them and pay by credit card, you are toast. When the real movers show up, they will then give you the actual price of the move. My 11.5k move exploded to 23k move. NMS scammed out of 6.4k. Avoid them like the plague. In fact avoid any brokers esp when moving. Oh their sales people are used car salesmen. Leo Henn and co lied to me repeatedly. Nothing he said to was ever true. Horrible horrible experience.

First, I didn't realize this was a Broker, until they called me 6 days prior to my move to cancel my contract. I booked and signed a contract with a $1,000 deposit in March - 5 months prior to my move knowing it was a competitive market and movers were in-demand. Nationwide said that at my original quote at $3.35 per cf, they could not find anyone to fulfill my move. While on the phone I was given two choices, either they would refund my deposit and cancel the CONTRACT I had in place, having then to find another cross country moving company last minute (yeah right). I was then told I must decide immediately during the phone call if I wanted them to keep me on the schedule and must sign a NEW contract at $6.00 per cf or they would go to the next person in line as well as put another $1,000 down. I was free to look at other quotes, but they would not be able to keep my moving date due to the long list of people waiting. Unfortunately, my home was sold and I had to leave. Two guys showed up late with a Ryder truck rental, spoke broken English, NO tools, and not nearly enough moving materials. Apparently the initial estimated cubic square feet originally verbally quoted based on my list of items, wasn't even close. At 11:30 pm the "guys" informed me I was at my estimated square foot capacity and anything left would be extra (barely 1/4 of the truck was full and marked with yellow tape). Very few of my large items were even loaded on the truck! They GROSSLY underestimated my Cubic Square Feet. So now I was force to pay extra if I wanted anything added, and sold everything remaining. I called numerous times thereafter asking where my items were being held. Each time I got a different “best guess” and was assured they would call me back that day with confirmation. NO return calls. Finally, I sent an email requesting information about storage, a breakdown of the fees, storage fees, etc. I was also told they would discount my storage given the issues I brought to their attention. The reply email inadvertently contained the customer service manager’s in-house comments which included, “delegate” and “Put her in her place, LOL.” I also received an angry call from the local carrier (Confident Movers), who called me screaming (in broken English) stating “We heard you filed a claim against us!” At such time I hadn’t done so, and proceeded to hang up on the belligerent person. I’ve moved all over the world, more than 17 times and this was by far the worst experience

I’ve ever had. I have no idea where my items truly are being stored, or if I will ever get delivery. I’m building a home and like so many others who have had delays due to material shortages, I had to store my items in the interim. Knowing this, it was one of the reason’s I chose Nationwide because the first month of storage was free and I was told it would be at their corporate office facilities in Delray Beach, FL. Nationwide’s reply when I brought up these issues stated that I signed a contract (NEW under duress), and that “No one had a gun to your head,” and there’s nothing they would do. My original “Binding Moving Quote” was $3,436.01. What I’m actually required to pay (subject to change with storage fees and who knows what else) is $9,489.52. Not even half of my items were moved and I paid nearly triple the original "binding moving quote."

I had to pick a star to submit this review but I don’t even want to give this company one star. Terrible customer service, after many conversations with multiple people they showed up 3 times with too small of a truck with 3 different companies. We still do not have all our items and movers destroyed our walls in our home and our furniture. No accountability in this company. I cannot stress enough what a SCAM this company is. Save your money and go elsewhere!!! In order to get our stuff we ended up spending 3x the original quote!!!!!

I promise you any positive reviews on this company has to be fake. I had the worst experience of my life dealing with them. They contract your move out to other moving companies who are not reputable and refuse to take responsibility for any of their actions. I used them for a cross country move and almost all my items were damaged. So glad I wrote “fragile” on my boxes (sarcasm). My couch was ripped and my table was scratched up. On top of that my main bedroom set had wood chips missing and cracks when it was pretty much brand new. I’ve called their customer service department and they made up different names each time, some pretending to be supervisors and some pretending to just be representatives. They refused to help me, never return any phone calls and are rude we can be. I paid almost $4,000 and they took my money and ran with it. Also, I am a background investigator and this needs to be noted BOLDLY! They do not have a real office, it is a fake address that places use to look professional, their location and suite number comes up for many different companies that are currently “active”. Please I beg any future customer to look elsewhere. They will steal your money, ruin your items, and never try to help reconcile any of the issues.

I was a bit concerned about lacking knowledge in the field of long distance movers. I was nervous that I would end up spending more money than I should and not end up getting the value I needed for my dollar. Fortunately I could not have chosen a better company to provide me with the peace of mind I needed when placing my valued items in their care. They were available to answer all my questions and provided details I hadn’t even considered myself. A big thank you to this company for their reliability and dedication to every customer. I look forward to using them in the future!

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $2131

They did not do a video survey. They estimated box numbers and on the day of moving I had to pay a lot more. Additionally, they charged me an extra $200 since they said that they needed to walk more to get to my front door. They don't carry things. They use dollys so I don't understand the extra charge.

Pier 1 Parsons dining table got chipped badly because they did not wrap it in a blanket. Did not wrap Pier 1 Parsons end tables or console table. I saw my Pier 1 chairs placed on the snow/ice path as they were bringing it in. Handling was not professional for the money that they charged. College students may do this sort of move.

Did not reassemble bed properly, nails were falling out and had to get help fixing it.

Additionally, they had to toss a chest of drawers in the dumpster since it completely came apart and the dresser has also come apart and a carpenter looked at it and said he can fix it and their poor packing and handling has broken it.

The total cost felt exorbitant since I moved to a place 10min away. If their service was beyond exceptional, then the cost would still be considered pricy but due to the poor quality of service it felt like a rip off. I moved 13 hours with the same size of items and a vehicle and it only cost me $1000 more.

Worked with several people who basically give you no information, such as they are just the broker and they sell you to someone else to do the move. Expert advice and guidance...NOPE none of that. Insurance.... $.60 per pound!

Bed was broken, Armoire broken, Glass pieces broken etc etc etc! Really who determines the weight? People are so rude it's not worth filing a claim. They count on that!!

which you don't think you need as you don't know your goods are going to loaded and unloaded how many times.

Delivery 9-21 days LOL the ontacted company get to change that to whatever they want. In my case 9-21 business days and then some. Oh yes then COVID...give me a break.

Save yourself the stress as moving is that itself.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY- STAY AWAY - Late picking up - picked up February 5th and were supposed to pick up the 3rd or 4th but made excuses and came on February 5th so had to push my travel plans back 2 days as I could not leave until February 6th- just said I signed the agreement that’s all they would say - then going from MA to FL and did not arrive until February 21st - when I said needed delivered by February 15th- took over 15 days to get it there and the only response was that I signed the agreement- finally showed up and all my coffee mugs broken 12 coffee mugs - dishes broken - 12 dishes - 12 bowls broken - glasses broken over 15 glasses that I had bought on trips taken now gone - george foreman grill broken - all boxes marked fragile and glasses packed and wrapped but still broken - adjustable base for my bed missing legs so now can not use the base - legs gone - only response you signed the agreement- WORST COMPANY - DO NOT USE - STAY FAR AWAY FROM THEM - just took all boxes and threw them in garage would not put into rooms in the house - one level home - no stairs and they bitched and would not put were it should have been put - STAY AWAY SERIOUSLY YOU SHOULD FIND ANOTHER COMPANY STAY AWAY FROM NATIONWIDE MOVING SERVICES- A LOT MORE COMPANIES OUT THERE STAY AWAY FROM THIS ONE

We had a horrific experience with Nationwide and recommend staying away from them.The FL DOT has over 100 complaints filed against Nationwide in the last year. Nationwide makes promises and give information that is not correct. They are a broker and according to the moving company, do not share the deposit with the moving company. Annie in customer service will give you the round around, lie, and actually hang up on you. James in customer service will not reply to any calls once you have made your deposits.
