National Moving Group

I was moving from Kentucky, to Las Vegas and contracted with national moving group through their rep jerri. Jerri helped me out in a pinch due to mayflower who canceled on me last minute. Within 4 days national had a truck come pick me up and save me a ton of money and stress. I did read some negative reviews online form other customers however jerri explained to me that national does a ton of business and you can't make everyone happy and usually it's the people who want to complain leave a review not the good moves. Well here is one for the good moves thanks.

Service cost: $3700

- As per Binding Moving Estimate G4529201 given by National Moving Group (US DOT: 2461980), 34 pieces of household items were agreed to be picked. But the driver, Mr. Paul, from company to which the moving job was contracted, I.e., Trusted movers (US DOT: 2292505) came in for pick up with an already loaded truck and took only 23 pieces. Items weighing total of 650lb which is around $390 worth of stuff that the driver did not load on to the truck during pick up even after multiple calls with Mr. Frank and customer care from National moving group. Driver was instead asking for $600 more to move most of the stuff that was already included in original estimate. We were taken advantage of the little time we had before we could vacate the apartment due to pick up delay.
- The date of pick-up was agreed to be 07/21/2018-07/22/2018 as per the binding estimate we had signed upon and we had our non-refundable flight tickets booked for 07/23/2018 afternoon. But since the driver arrived on 07/24/2018 for pick-up which is almost 2 days after the agreed pick up date, we had to let go off our non-refundable flight tickets worth $504. Mr. Todd from National Moving Group had assured us that they will give us some refund due to the loss of flight tickets. But when we called him later before loading our stuff, he never answered our calls.
- Only 7 boxes were purchased from the driver instead of 10 that was charged in agreed estimate. That should bring down $45 for charges applied in estimate for 3 unused boxes. Vacuum cleaner packed in original packing, was billed as separate item but was considered as part of 10 boxes agreed upon instead of separate item. No TV box packing material was provided. It was taken in the original packing that we had. Which should bring down another $49 charged in agreed estimation. We were told by Mr. Frank that the amount for unused packing material will be deducted in final bill, but were not adjusted.
- Delivery Delay: The driver would tell us that our stuff will be delivered by evening each day from 4th Aug to 7th August 2018 and finally our stuff was delivered on 8th Aug at 3.00 am which was very inconvenient as we kept postponing all our plans waiting for the delivery for 4 days.
- When the items arrived, the boxes were all torn and open and we have lost some of our items packed inside the boxes during the move. The person who delivered our stuff told us that the boxes were wet when they had picked them up from driver who picked up our stuff. Most of the stuff that was packed in the boxes were given to us separately as the boxes were open. We are missing a lot of our things and some broken, which were properly packed inside the box. Our furniture that was delivered was either broken or had heavy wear and tear.
- To summarize, we are expecting settlement for unused packing material - $45, unused TV Box - $49, Items not picked but charged for in initial estimate - $390 and flight ticket losses due to delayed pick up - $504. But after going through standard claim process with movingclaims.net, we are getting settlement of $100 only from Trusted Movers for damaged and broken items delivered.
We are not satisfied on final settlement with both Trusted Movers and National Moving Group companies who were both highly unprofessional and very bad customer service, due to which we had to incur huge losses other than just damaged/ lost goods. The whole experience was mentally harassing and stressful.

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $2785

These guys are super good. They are amazing. I hired them last week for my local move they did an excellent job. They offered me a very cheap and low deal and they were very flexible with the payment methods. The moving people came on time on the day of the move and moved me out in a blink of an eye. The faced no problems at all. They moved me very smoothly and quickly. The delivery was on time and there were no damages in the end. National Moving Group is surely worth hiring.

When I reserved this move with jay ross, I just knew eevrything would be smooth and easy, Jay is a very direct and through person he told exactly what I needed to do and how it should be done. after about 1 hour I said lets get it done. In about 2 weeks the movers showed up, they wrapped everything just as I was told and started to packed the truck. it took them a little longer than I hope it would but I do have alot of furniture it is a 3 bedroom house we moved from. overall it was smooth and easy. if you are looking for a good moving company these guys are it excellent!!
