Outstanding Job!

I had two PODS I needed unloaded on separate dates and hired Elite Moving Labor of Garner, NC.  The men showed up on time each time, and were professional and courteous. They treated my belongings as if they were their own. While I was told initial they do not put equipment or furniture together, to my surprise, they did indeed put a bedframe and headboard together for me and had the bed all set to make up for me.  I don't ever want to move again, but if I do, I will call Elite Moving Labor again..in a heartbeat! The price was reasonable, and they work FAST!!

Long-distance move from Colorado to Wisconsin

Loaders from Elite Moving Labor.

I recently moved from Colorado to Wisconsin and wanted to express my gratitude to the team that assisted me in a successful move by the loading of my 26 ft. rental truck from Penske.. Mario and Cortez, along with two others, were such a professional team and I felt at ease right away.. I could tell they knew their "stuff!" Hiring Elite was the best decision I made during my entire move.. No disappointments or worries as the company follwed through and called and emailed regularly so I didn't have to worry about them showing up on specific date, What a relief! I highly recommnend them to anyone that just needs loaders or an entire move.. Thank you Elite Moving Labor. :).

Fees charged.

MovingLabor.com is a referral/middleman company. When I searched for moving help to unload a U-haul truck from AZ to WA. I got a referral of three moving helpers companies from MovingLabor.com. However, MovingLabor.com required a $49.00 "deposit" from my credit card, and said it would be applied to my final moving costs. In reality, it was a referral "fee" of $49.00 that they charge you for referring moving helper companies, and the $49.00 goes directly into their pockets. I was going to subtract the $49.00 from the cost of $215.00 the moving helpers charged me. However when I contacted the moving helpers company they told me they pay MovingLabors.com a monthly fee for referrals, and knew nothing of a $49.00 "deposit". I had to pay them the full $215.00 AND $49.00 to MovingLabors.com. This is totally misleading of MovingLabors.com. They should call it what it is..a non-refundable referral fee that has nothing to being applied to the final cost of any moving helpers companies. I would never use MovingLabors.com again. I moved three truck loads here and have more to come. I will never recommend MovingLabor.com to anyone. They would do better to act like Angie's List or Craigslist and accept referrals from companies who already pay them for referrals, not both the moving helper companies AND the end customer who use the moving helpers.

Official company response

Thank you for your feedback and we apologize for any miscommunication that may have occurred. During our booking process, you are shown a list of all the companies that service your area and are part of our vendor program. The price listed on our website, before the customer chooses to proceed, does INCLUDE the deposit, the total for 2 mover for 2 hours reflecting for the crew you selected was $264. The movers were unable to deduct that further as we advertise the most competitive prices for every mover. We also have discussed with the crew your statement that "we charge the the movers a monthly fee". It seems they confused us with another moving labor website, as we do NOT charge a monthly fee. The $49 deposit, does include a service fee, but this is factored into our upfront pricing showing you the total cost before you book. The service fee is in place to cover MovingLabor.com for listing local companies nationwide, office spaces, and website development costs. This provides us the means to do a thorough review on these companies, along with providing different amounts of competition in local areas. Competition gives customers quality companies with lower overall prices for professional movers. Hope this helps with any billing concerns you may have had!

Cancellation fee.

Beware of non-refundable $50 fee if you have to cancel. I gave them 5 days notice but they would not return my money. I can see if I gave them 24 hours or less but this seems very unfair and almost
like thievery.

Unreliable and Lacking Integrity.

MovingLabor.com says it aims to bring reliability and integrity back to the moving industry. This is a lie. The company failed to provide services promised and then charged us. Avoid this company. They want your money and don’t care about their customers.
