Well, what can I say? What a stress free experience! Moving house in itself is a very stressful time, but moving country is even more stressful!! Matthew Ladley and his team took all of the stress out of moving for me. From the first communication to the last, I was kept informed every step of the way. The removal guys arrived on time to collect and to deliver, telephoning to confirm their expected arrival times.

Well done Moving Partnership - a really professional company who provided a really professional and friendly service. Thank you Matthew and colleagues!!

Move size: Partial Move Service cost: £2200

The only thing the company called for was payment. Late pick up, late delivery- I had to call them continuously for pick up and delivery confirmation - they do not respond no tracking of shipment Furniture was piled in the truck like for a bonfire. Heavy sofas on top of each other, white chairs, all furniture not covered (I paid extra to have everything packed and covered, wrapped: bikes & chairs on top of glass table, every single item damaged - some totally destroyed (Fabric torn, upholstery damaged, glass tables broken). I moved already 5 times before with different companies and never experienced anything remotely. Not a matter of accident - a matter of throwing in furniture like for waste disposal. They refused to initially give me the companies manager name - only after suggesting legal proceeding - who basically then said not his problem and after that did not answer any mail. Refused to pay for the damage - that was not accident that below any professional standard. Not a member of BAR - so no organisation to intermediate. Damage was far higher than insurance value. Refused to pay for damage, for not delivered service - I paid to have all furniture wrapped - they did not wrap it , I paid extra for having items delivered between to destination - they did not do it nor refund for it. No management for insurance either.

I was dealing with Wayne who was very knowledgable and helpful, always replied quick and made regular updates with whereabout my stuff was.
The local moving team assigned was very professional too, they did not rush through the job and carefully packed all items, marked the fragile and loaded the truck carefully.
The goods arrived on time and the overall experience I got from dealing with that company was second to none.
I would highly recommend Moving Partnership to anyone moving to Switzerland, as I understood this is one of their regular routes.

I have no hesitation in reccomending this company.
Mr Ladley was my only point of contact for an entire year whilst my furniture was in storage and house sale floundered. He was eminently helpful and relaxed which made my situation a tad easier. I made many changes to items in storage and delivery dates but Mr Ladley took it all in his stride and noting was too much trouble, all my changes were easily accommodated. Everything arrived on time and in small vans as requested. I can't fault them. I have put a low approximate figure in the service cost section of this review.

Moving Partnership did everything well, and Matthew was always very helpful. However, I think they could have been more open with the date the ship was the leave, as it didn't leave the UK for 2 months or so, as they waited for the container to fill up.
The partners they have in the UAE, where we've moved to, were rather uncommunicative unless prompted. I was much less impressed with them.
(This website itself needs improving. I only got a short list of European countries to choose from. We actually moved to Abu Dhabi.).

An overseas move, including my car, handled by The Moving Partnership. The whole process was friendly and very well organised both ends. I would recommend them to anyone. The packers both ends were efficient and helpful. The office staff were all helpful and friendly. The delivery dates were stuck to and the times arranged easily. I had one cracked picture frame but that was all. There was nothing missing.
Your choices for delivery to Country on this form do not include Gozo. Very few choices actually.

We commissioned the Moving Partnership to manage our recent move from the UK to Malta. They in turn used the service of Atlantis to pack our goods in the UK and William in Malta to unpack.

We have the highest opinion of all three companies. Nice people, very professional and a really quite pleasant experience during what should be a stressful time. Whilst we haven't finished unpacking, we don't think a single item has been damaged.

Thoroughly recommended.

I recently used the services of The Moving Partnership when relocating from Eastbourne to Sweden. Having contacted and met with many companies, they were not the cheapest but stood out from all the others.

I dealt with Matthew who were spot on with information. The packers who did everything needed to be done, were friendly, professional and a credit to their company, very nice people. My shipment arrived in Stockholm on schedule and as hoped, the guys in Stockholm were very good as well as my son said who was there at the time.

My move to sweden went really well and a lot of that can be attributed to the professional service received by choosing the Moving Partnership. Brilliant telephone and emailing manner and so quick to answer any questions.

We used the Moving Partnership for our removal from UK to India. They worked with Hamiltons and we are glad to say our experience was excellent. Tracy at the Moving Partnership kept us updated regularly and was always available to help at the end of the phone or by email. Hamiltons did a brilliant job of reassuring us that everything would be okay. The shipment arrived on time and with absolutely no breakage which is a huge relief given we had moved all our personal belongings in the move.
We are very pleased with the service and would like to recommend them for any national or international move. Not only were they the most comptetitive in terms of price but the standard of service was unbeatable.

Well was meant to be a Move from UK to USA..
Let use down the day before our move..
I truly feel this was all part of the plan as we had knocked them down on the shipping price just the week before the move..
They let us down at the point I said I was going to shop around for the insurance part of the quote.. This was thrown in last minute I believe to make us just say yes as otherwise we have no containers!!
Turns out their quote was £10,640 (on top of 20k+ for shipping) which I was advised was a reduced rate and they had worked so hard for me..
I have received quotes from £1,420 to £4,000..
I questioned there service and the fact that they feel I can't compare is was at that point he became totally rude advising me all my fault, its all last minute.. A very heated stressful discussion.
Slept on it.. to wake up thinking they aren't having my business - NO WAY!!, even if that means starting all the process all over again!! I am in business myself and still can't believe how rude, totally un organised they are and how they tried to blame us for their failings??
So result is delayed move and lots of stress!! BUT worked today with an amazing company who have sorted everything in 1day.. these guys had had 3months plus with me chasing them??..

Big move in a big truck - this is scary stuff for most of us. But Matthew from the Moving Partnership covered all the basics and was always available to support and answer our many questions. When challenges arose (it is inevitable with such a move) he ensured everything was solved. Some damage but all sorted by the insurance folk.

We highly recommend Matthew and the people at the Moving Partnership. We have now used them twice and will definitely use them again.

From my first contact with Moving Partnership to delivery today I have had complete confidence with the company.
I was given a competitive quote and then helped evert step along the way. When I had questions, they were promptly answered.
I have been impressed by everyone I've come into contact with. All have been polite, friendly, punctual and helpful. Throughout the whole process I was kept informed.
There was no problem having my stuff delivered to a village an hour and a half east of Malmö.

We picked 'The Moving Partnership' from a choice of 5 removal companies. They contacted us with a very good quote and gave us time to decide without any pushy follow up e-mails. When I decided to contact them, I dealt with Joe who was extremely friendly and competent throughout. He managed to arrange a pick up 4 days after I called and guided me through all the paperwork. The pick up team arrived at the specified time and packed all our items carefully (they even checked and repackaged boxes they felt could do with more care). It took only four days for our items to arrive safe and sound (not a single breakage) at our new home. The company contacted us the day before to say they would be coming the next day and arrived at exactly the specified time. I was very impressed with the service and the competence and warmth with which 'The Moving Partnership' deals with their customers. I was quite nervous about moving all our valuables but everything was sorted out for us in such a quick and straightforward manner that our items were delivered to our new home before I could even start to worry. I recommend them highly!

I used the moving partnership for two moves back in 2015. Really nice people on the phone and pleasant to speak to but when it came to the actual move that wasn't so good. I was told I'd get blankets to protect my furniture, I got nothing. Items arrived scratched and broken and some even got lost! When I called to ask for help they were useless. The problem is they are basically an agency and they work with other movers so they don't really have control over the move. The movers that came were old and unfit meaning I had to help load things and I was nine months pregnant at the time. This also caused problems when they had to bring my furniture into my new flat as the two guys were clearly not used exercise and resulted in a lot of huffing and puffing and "kin ell, kin ell" as things were moved up and down the stairs. There was more stuff than they were able to take so I got a kerbside delivery for the second lot, the delivery drivers were rude to my family and then they lost my items in a warehouse. Moving Partnership did sweet FA and it was between myself and another young lady that we located the items and it was solved. I wouldn't use them again, pay a little extra and get a better service I say. They don't care about your stuff but that's because as I said they don't really move it so they can afford to be nice on the phone because if anything goes wrong there's no blow back for them.

We have/still using (awaiting for our goods) used the services of The Moving Partnership when relocating from Northampton/UK to Masterton/NZ.
Wayne was always very professional and very helpful - outstanding service (absolutely spot on!).

I have contacted and met with 3 companies in total - Moving Partnership was the most cost efficient. In addition their way of communicating with us - stood out from all the others.

Always answered for my question on time!

Our goods were collected  on 24 April 2013 from Nottingham for shipment to Harare, Zimbabwe . Goods were paid for in full through their  agent (Vadomark ) the sum of 5,250 pounds. As of 29 July 2013, goods have still  not been delivered. Apparently goods have arrived in Zimbabwe but Moving Paterniships are refusing to release the goods because of an outstanding debt between them and Vadomark. Moving partnerships are effectively holding our goods as security  for a debt between them and Vadomark. My question is, why is Moving partnerships doing business with dubious agents and on credit for that matter. .

The service from Norfolk to Australia was great, everything ran smoothly, the packing and handling was fantastic, great care was taken with fragile stuff - the communication was great, everyone I spoke to was very friendly and helpful. No I don't work for the company or have relatives who work there :) The service was second to none, I would highly recommend this company to anyone. Everything was intact, no breakages or theft - brilliant. Thanks very very much.

We moved from Oxfordshire to Provence in April. The quotation offered was among the most correct and in addition, Joe, the salesman "recommended" himself to his father who was one of the managers of the company where my husband was going to work. These two things inspire us confidence, we chose them. Very badly took us because abusive additions in the estimate made that the estimate increased up to the limit paid by the company of my husband (more than 2000 euros in addition to the initial estimate), and this, some days before the planned date of the move. The closer the move approached, the more Joe increased our estimate, alleging things and others. I would like to point out that some additions were normal due to the difficult access to the house. We also had to pay the entire move (around 9,000 euros, which my husband's company had to pay, as is done in these cases), which we were told a few days before the move with threats of do not move if it was not done. Result, they received 2 times the amount, from us and the company, and refunded us (1 time the payment from the company received) in pounds while we had made the payment in euros, which made us lost a few hundred euros.
And the worst part is that on moving day my husband saw a truck from another moving company appear in front of the house (from which we had requested a quote, we had better do it directly with them. .) when Joe had NEVER told us they were going to have another company do the job. In short, we absolutely do not recommend if you want to deal with honest people and prepare your move with peace of mind. They do what is convenient for them, take all the money they can, and in the end don't even do the job themselves.

The transportation of my belongings was really to Liechtenstein, rather than Switzerland as mentioned above for lack of the accurate option on the menu. Getting it set up was a pleasant experience and Andrew Chaston, the salesman and person in charge of the move was ready with answers to my questions and seemed especially compliant with my special requests (that clothes be packed in wardrobe boxes and my disassembled bookcases be padded with packing material to avoid damage to to protruding screws). The team that came to pack were professional and helpful but knew nothing about either of my two special requests. Once they were on site and the packing had commenced, the only response Andrew gave me was that as I had purchased insurance, if anything went wrong damage would be reimbursed. Of course, my hands were tied by this point. The shipment was delivered by a team with attitudes vastly different from the pick-up team. They were tired from being overworked and on the road too long. they had no idea of access to the adelivery address and ended up having to park their massive truck about hundred metres away and with about two hours to get all the boxes through a slight rain and up two flights of stairs. Of course, it was a disaster. Apart from articles that took water (clothes, books, and some furniture), the inadequately packed bookcase sidings were scracthed and had loose screws after all their assurances that it would be taken care of. Then began a year-long exercise of trying to claim insurance, which, without going into details, has neither covered the cost of clothes, nor the bookcases. This, having paid a premium for full insurance on every last item, is a very dissatisfactory outcome. To say I had little cooperation from Andrew through the process would be overstating the predicament, as it was due to his misinformation or indolence that documents I sent forward through the moving company were sent to the insurance company late. This was the main reason that they refused some of the claims. All in all, I would say Hamilton's and the Moving Partnership are to be avoided if an alternative is available.

Following up on my previous review.  The missing items were finally delivered on the 15th September.  In order to get them delivered I had to do some investigations myself and match the numbers on the receipts with the numbers on the pallet that was delivered. After providing all this information the delivery company was able to find the goods and deliver them. Basically items that were collected from my flat on the same day were delivered to two different warehouses in London and therefore only some of them were dispatched to Italy. It's still unclear to me how they didn't notice the missing items sitting in the warehouse for almost one month, especially given that I was phoning them almost every day trying to get an update. It's also strange that they didn't manage to locate all the items just by putting my name in their systems. Anyway finally the issue has been resolved and I managed to get all my goods back; it would have been a big loss otherwise.

On their website they state that fragile items are packed by professionals, and arrive safe.. that is totally not correct, first my TV was wrapped up with some paper around and I was advised that it will have extra packaging added at the warehouse. It arrived to Italy - Milan all bashed up, the screen and the back - and they do not take this issue seriously. First took ages to respond to emails, after they referred to insurance that I might have.. when first spoken to Matthew Ladley he advised if all well packed no insurance needed.. All items that were wrapped up by myself were in tacked even my turntable, however TV was packed by themselves and now created a problem I could do without. I do not recommend to anyone, there are many more companies around.

Start from beginning. My moving was from London to Spain. I was dealing with Joe. I make appointment to pick up my staff 30.11.2015 and then horror starts! I pay extra for bigger van ( total moving cost approx £1200, all packed by myself) and when they came pick you my staff van was too small. Joe forgot to upgrade company. Was already so much stress for me as next day I was leaving England. Finally they hardly squeeze NOT ALL staff. I was told by Joseph that my staff will be in Marbella in max 10 days. After 10 days my staff not arrive and I was a person who need to keep calling to everyone as moving partnership wasn't to happy to help me. Joseph even told my that I have to much staff and I need to pay £.90 more, after what I remind him that I paid £.220 extra already and looks like he forgot about this as he said 'ahh yes you right' .So look like they over charge me £.130. Then I find out my staff stuck in Barcelona as Big van break down! After hundreds of phone calls to England and Barcelona finally Joe told me that my staff 100% will arrive 22.12.2015. I was in England In that time so I flew to Spain for only this day and 23rd I was flying back to England.Which didn't happen as my staff didn't arrive again! I had extra over £800 expenses because this pointless traveling! Finally after 24 days my staff arrived. Two pallets. One BROKEN which cost damage on my staff. People who was packing pallets they not serious as they put mirror on top of sharp peace of office chair. Again I was few days keep calling Joe about claim some money. And second day he said ' sorry I forgot as I have so many things happening ' . On the end they offered me £.150 claim which total cost of this headache was £.2000 (with my traveling). They are the most unprofessional people ever! They care only about get money from you. Company's which the are dealing with are not better. No recommend nobody!

If you average the 13 reviews of The Moving Partnership (before this review was added), you get 2.92 ((1+1+1+5+3+5+5+5+5+1+4+1+1) / 13). So why does this page show 4 stars? Shouldn't it be 3? In any case, our experience with The Moving Partnership was terrible. We were strung along with "I understand"s throughout the process with no results. We needed to ask our representative 4 times to update us weekly on our shipment. Our bed frame was broken during shipment also. And to further question the credibility of this website, I am given no where to review 'honesty' and the other fields, so why do they appear on this page?

I went with this company because they promised to deliver goods on a certain day ( five days after my boxes were collected). They were more expensive than other companies but promised a faster delivery date, so I went with them. They did not properly explain to me how to track my package and I assumed my goods arrived at the airport on the day they promised me so I rent 'man and a van' service and go to the airport to pick up my cargo. When I already paid for my 'man and a van' service and taxi to the airport for myself (a total of 120 euros), I find out that my boxes never arrived and the delivery date has been moved to the week when I am not in the country. The company failed to track and update me on the change so when I called them to ask why this has happened, they claimed that it is not their responsibility and the promised delivery date is only approximate. When I asked the company to compensate me 100 euros for 'man and a van' service due to their failure to deliver goods on a promised date, they refused. In the end, I overpaid 350 pounds and still did not get my boxes on time. Avoid this company if you value your time and money.
