Moving APT

Moving APT are the real deal! I recently moved from a three bedroom apartment into a house of the same number of bedrooms and the service provided to me by Moving APT was top notch. They were extremely courteous and organized, and every detail was handled with tremendous professionalism. I have a large collection of vintage music memorabilia and everything was treated with the proper care. Nothing seemed to slow them down and they quickly packed everything up and promptly unloaded it at the new destination. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that with a good moving company you don't have to fret about a big move because everything is taken care of. Moving APT went above and beyond to exceed all expectations; would definitely use them again and recommend their services to anyone looking to make a move.

Move size: 3 Bedroom Home Service cost: $3900

Recently moved from Pagosa Springs Co, to Tyrone Georgia. Original estimate was approximately $12K or a 4 Bedroom Home, escalated to over $17K at move completion.

Carrier arrived late for pickup, no furniture was wrapped with any protection and very little care given to belongings.

APT never followed up on the move experience, had to constantly hunt them down on the phone. No inventory was taken of the load at the time of pickup.

Had to argue the financial component of the move with both APT and the carrier.

On delivery found damaged table, end tables scratched, and boxes not moved to the designated areas. Had to personally assemble all disassembled beds and furniture.

Upon completion, signed a delivery receipt noting the damage. To date have never received a copy of the receipt. This after repeated calls and emails to both APT and the carrier.

I will never use this company again and will warn anyone who would listen to find another service provider.

The worst moving service one can imagine!

Constantly delaying, not even know even the movers are coming to pick up your furniture, even after signing contract either not mentioning the check you paid the movers, and after a few times correcting them, they suddenly change the total price, asking you to pay more; and worse than that, they never respond your email, call, message about the time to expect delivery, even after the timeline they specified; so basically you never know if you would ever get your furniture or not. It seems they never care about their customers to bother themselves and answer your enquiry about the time you expect delivery, but when it's about charging you more, even after you have signed the contract and the movers picked up your furniture they constantly sending you the new contract! yes you read it correctly, they make you sign a new contract after the movers picked up the furniture, when you can do nothing anymore. After that, no one would answer your messages, even after the deadline they specified for delivery of furniture!!

Move size: Partial Move Service cost: $2000

I booked and confirmed my moving date 6 months prior and a week before the move they could not find a carrier. They suggested I extend the date but I had a flight and made all other arrangements and that was not a possibility. I was forced to sell all my furniture in 48 hours. I would never again book Moving APT and after carefully reading other reviews I see I was not the only one this has happened to. The worst kind of experience to have when moving! I do not recommend doing business with them!!!!!!!

If this company isn't a complete scam, it sure feels that way, and they haven't exactly done anything to fix it. I kept getting told I would "only be charged for what gets moved."

They moved roughly half the estimated weight. and I got charged MORE than the estimate. We moved a fraction of the items, and sold some of the larger items (like the kayaks/bicycles) we were told would be more expensive. Several pieces of furniture were damaged, a hole was put in my wall, and we watched the movers topple 2 stacks of boxes down the stairs. 1 of those had all of our plates. When asked to pay the final amount at delivery, and it being $1500 more than expected, we spent over 3 hours trying to get ahold of anyone from Moving APT or the contracted moving company. It was a Sunday. We figured it was all a misunderstanding. Surely this would get cleared up on Monday and we would get a refund, right?

Nope! Got sent to a claims office. I've asked several times for an updated quote based on the bill of lading and still haven't gotten it. We were asked to send all of our documentation and pictures in a single unzipped file

When my parents needed to move, Moving APT was one of the options I found. Alexander quickly responded and worked with me to get me a quote. He visited their home and gave them a quote. They appreciated how much he knew and seemed to care about their things. They arrived early in the morning on the move-out day and worked hard until late in the evening, packing all their things carefully in boxes and then loading the two large trucks. On move-in day at the new house, Mason’s team worked just as hard to get all the things inside. This included getting a large refrigerator in a too-small space, but they were patient with the problem, eventually putting it where needed. They were courteous and treated my parents well. I would certainly use them again.
