Read some of the write ups for Movecorp after my company said they had instructed them to relocate me and thought they must be cheap? Well according to Suzie in accounts they are but I can’t see where they get all their negative reviews from. From the initial call from the boss James to the pat on the back I gave to Brian as he climbed in his cab to leave, the whole move was carried out perfectly. No breakages, no damages, no items stolen? Can’t get my head around people accusing somebody of stealing if they have not got proof, bit like whiplash I suppose, money for nothing? Can’t thank them enough for their hard work and I’m sure Suzie will be a busy girl in future. Excellent all round.

From the first moment I made contact with you to arrange an urgent collection at short notice, until the final delivery, you have been a truly professional company. Nothing was impossible, timescales upheld, responses immediate, pricing reasonable and fair and everyone went out of their way to find sensible solutions to a problem delivery. I will have no hesitation in using your company on a regular basis and recommending you to friends and business associates alike.

I do not normally complete reviews. “They were doing what we paid them to do” was the statement from my husband, but I felt I must contact you to express my thoughts on our recent move to the Netherlands. It is very hard nowadays to find a company that cares and stands by their commitment to good service, but after the praise my daughter and son in law extolled on your company after their move to the Netherlands, there was only ever going to be one choice. Mr Tennent, thank you and your company for making our move so easy. I wish you and your company the success you all deserve.

Great service, great communication, great price and above all everything delivered 100% intact. My fifth business move to and from Europe now and that’s the first time I have been able to say that, should have used Movecorp before. Top marks for a job well done and will definitely use in future.

We booked Movecorp for an international move from Europe to Asia. 6 days before our move, they informed us they would not be able to accomodate our move. This left us scrambling at the last minute to find another mover. I would most definitely not reccommend to use their service based on this alone! Our move was scheduled for the 23rd and 24th. I would like to thank Movecorp for carrying out everything they said they would, timescales, price and the quality of my move. I have moved quite often throughout my life and can honestly say that this was easily in the top three of those moves. James Mallett the sales director was a pleasure to deal with and any question I raised was answered without hesitation, a sign of confidence and expert in his field. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to family and friends and personally will use them again in the future if required.

I approached this company for a quote as a friend of mine had used them to move him to Italy and said how good he found them.
Even though I was only moving to France and obviously closer I thought the quote was brilliant compared to what he had paid and accepted it straight away. On the day of removal three guys turned up at 07.30 and were packed and on the road by 11.30 and then it was just a wait for my belongings to arrive in France 10 days later. Sure enough the lorry arrived as agreed was unloaded and put in rooms as requested and five days on everything looks pretty good and I have a nice apartment to come home to from work. Thank you Movecorp for a pleasant reasonably priced move.

When you are going through an international move, you hire and pay professionals to make sure that those parts of the process you can't control (such as shipping boxes) are in good hands. You need to hire a relocation company to collect (and sometimes pack) boxes from "point A" (in my case London) and deliver them to "point B" (in my case Sweden).
I contacted Movecorp to organize my move, we agreed on a pick up date and I paid them 100% in advance. When that day arrived, all my boxes were ready, packed and sealed, but unfortunately they never left "point A".. The collection was initially scheduled between 16.00 and 19.00, but around 16.30 I was informed that the crew was some 3 hours late. The driver would have called me when they were on their way to my apartment.
By 22.00 nobody called me nor knocked on my door, and I didn't have any number to call!! Movecorp provides only one number that is active from 9.00 to 17.30, so should you have an emergency, your only option is to wait the next day - and fall sleep if you can, I didn't.
I was left with all my boxes at "Point A" with less than 36 hours to my plane to Sweden. 
The next day I had to call to find out what happened (being proactive is not included in their service) and - as common sense suggests - I thought they would have collected my boxes first thing first in the morning.. but I was wrong. With a "don't worry" attitude, Brodie Holton suggested to rearrange the pick up in a week - without taking in consideration my situation: did they know I was relocating?
As a result of choosing Movecorp, I had to rebook my flights (extra cost that Movecorp didn't want to pay) and rearrange an urgent pick up with another provider (thanks God thare are still some serious companies out there!); again, Movecorp didn't offer to pay the extra cost I had to substain for their mistake.
So, if you are about to relocate abroad, I highly recommend not to choose Movecorp, unless you want your nightmares to come true!

Hi,

Used Move Corp for a overseas move of our home. They did not have the agreed boxes when they arrived, so they had to improvise with packaging valuable items. They managed to lost several items and the insurance that they provided (Basil Fry and Co) have no interest to honor their obligation.

Since they have handed over the dialogue to a Removal Claim Service and the approach is similar.

A very frustrating experience and sadly describes a behavior that now will be expected going forward. Overall a really bad company. Carl.
