I called what I thought was the direct line to my sales agent. Apparently I was wrong. When the gentleman answered the phone he said I was calling Pro Move or Prof Move, he didn't speak clear but I know by the sound of his tone he was a little shaken up when I asked If I was calling Main Moving. He then said, “ YES, THIS IS MAIN MOVING.” When asked who Prof Move was he said he didn’t know, if that’s the case why are you answering the phone introducing yourself as Prof Move. After ending the call with the agent I went through my emails and low and behold I had an email from Prof Move which I received at almost the exact same time as the one from Main Moving. I also received text messages from both companies. The phone numbers that the calls were coming from were nearly identical.

As if moving isn’t hard enough, I have to worry about being scammed. In my attempt to get a few quotes to see if the price was similar amongst the companies, how am I to know what’s real when 2 of the three companies I spoke with are actually the same company disguising themselves with different names!!?? This is for one unethical and two, illegal! I spoke with a third company who of course called me, the gentleman was very nice and polite. After giving him the amount of cubic feet Main Moving had given me, he gave me a price that was much higher than Main Moving. Before I could ask him questions about his company, he began to push me to go with Main Moving. He basically told me that I would be a fool to not call them now and reserve with them. He didn’t make any attempts to ask for my business he kept telling me that Main Moving was a good company and they must have a route available and I should hurry up and call them to reserve before I miss out on their offer. I have come to the conclusion that all 3 companies that I spoke with were THE SAME COMPANY!!

Buyer beware, after further review and reading reviews on these two companies (the third company doesn’t exist btw) it would appear that they have the same customer service agent taking calls. The descriptions that I read from customer reviews illustrate the same rude, disrespectful woman. I also found it funny that the reviews for each company both mention a man named Barry coincidence? This company is sloppy and If I was able to catch that this was a scam, I’m sure others have as well. If you are considering either of these companies Main Moving or Prof Move, you are in for a rude awakening. My suggestion would be to do as I did and run, run as fast as you can. I decided to rent a Pods, 4 of them. This is the worst part, the amount of space that they said I needed was nowhere near the amount of space that my move required. I can’t imagine the thousands of dollars they would have charged me if I did chose them. I could go on and on.

Move size: 4 Bedroom Home Service cost: $4500

This company sent dishonest, shady movers to my home hours after my scheduled pick up time and I refused to let them move my belongings. This company was scheduled to move my household goods between 6/11-6/13. I agreed in order to help them that my goods could be moved on 6/14. All day I waited for the movers to arrive. I called my contacts at Main Moving over and over again to continuously get the run around and never get a straight story from anyone about what the issues were. I must have called these people over 20 times. I even tried to call the customer service line to try to get a hold of someone who could actually help me and I was just sent back to the same unhelpful people. I was rudely screamed at by the supposed manager Barry and I was told that I needed to accept that the movers would show up whenever they showed up and I needed to let them take my goods. He continued to scream at me and not let me talk and during this call he said I'M CANCELLING YOUR MOVE to which I replied thank you then I will expect and email stating that you are cancelling my move and I will expect a full refund of $1611.70 which was my deposit for the move. He told me I wasn't getting anything back that there is nothing he will do and he continued to rudely scream at me so I hung up. I needed to drive 6/15 10 hours to Virginia to start my new job on 6/17 and that is why the move was scheduled for 6/11-6/13. The driver finally showed up 7 hours late after 7 pm when the sun was going down in an unmarked white truck, barely spoke English, and seemed really sketchy. My Aunt told them to call their boss Barry at Main Moving to find out what was going on and the driver began to step towards my 73 year old Aunt in such an aggressive manner that she immediately turned and came inside my house. The driver followed my Aunt and tried to enter my home without permission and I stopped him and told him to wait outside and I closed the door to my home. A few minutes later I went outside to talk to the driver and the driver began to step towards me in an aggressive manner and tried to talk over me and wave his arms around aggressively. He would not give me his name or his bosses name, he did not even know my name or any of the names of the people working for Main Moving and I knew that if I let these people load my belongings onto their truck I would never see my property again. I do not feel this is a legitimate company, after my ordeal I began doing some deep research into this company and I've read many reviews by multiple people about them stealing their money and property and being a scam. I want this company to do the right thing and refund my entire deposit of $1611.70 and then NEVER do this to another person EVER again. I have had to hire a new moving company and pay more money to have my move expedited since Main Moving decided to screw me over at the last minute. They do not have an honest person working for them and I want my money back as they did not perform and services for me other than causing me a lot of stress and sadness. Not once did they offer to do anything to resolve the situation or make me feel secure in their abilities to move my goods. They were rude, deceitful, and unprofessional. If I could give negative stars I would.

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $1611

When I first spoke to someone from Main Moving I was assured that my move from GA to AZ would go smoothly. I chose the FULL SERVICE move and we talked on the phone and went through all the furniture I had (room by room). I was quoted a MAX of $6200. I was told I didn't even have to be there as long as the movers could get into the house, they would take care of EVERYTHING. I also wanted to make sure I had at least 3 movers because I have moved a lot and know that is what it requires for my furniture. They also talked me out of using other moving companies saying that they (the other companies) would subcontract the move. Funny..Main Moving showed up in a Penske and a Uhaul (lies!). I was also told that they would take care of my stuff as if it were their own because if anything was lost or damaged THEY would be responsible (little did I know they would only be responsible for 0.60 per pound).
As soon as I paid the initial $2200 to secure the move, it became increasingly harder to get in touch with anyone over at Main Moving. There is nowhere to leave a message
I did happen to be home when the movers came, thank gosh! They showed up at noon (2 movers, not 3) and when they walked in, they said it was going to be closer to $8000. I had a BINDING estimate..not sure what that means now. I would have moved myself if I knew it was going to be that much, but now I had no choice as I was selling my house Monday and it was Thursday. They came down and said they were finished and could I walk through to make sure they had gotten everything. They had left out an entire closet and 2 bathrooms as well as a lot of my original artwork sitting in the middle of one of the bedrooms (ummm..no. You're not done). They had run out of boxes and proceeded to throw the rest in the back of the truck.
A day before my things were supposed to arrive in Phoenix they inform me that it will be another $1400 for a shuttle fee. I told them I didn't have all this extra money they were demanding and they said they would hold my furniture hostage in a storage unit (at my expense) until I paid the extra "IN CASH." I found out according to the FMCSA that I should have AT LEAST had 30 days to pay the shuttle fee.
They lost a piece to my very expensive upholstered king bed, so they couldn't put that together. They left the dresser and another piece of furniture on its side with no feet (I paid for them to assemble all major furniture). They crushed every single lampshade because they threw them in various boxes with shoes and printers (why not when you're only paying 0.60/lb). Own giant MFC printer was thrown in a box upside down. They put a 12" crack in our other dresser, broke 2 dining room chairs, and left UNLABELED boxes everywhere to where we couldn't even walk through the apartment. It took us so long to find the things we needed because NOTHING WAS LABELED!
I will be filing complaints with the FMCSA, going to the news, calling Clark Howard, and anything else I can do to expose these con artists for who they are DON'T USE THEM! They are scammers!

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $9200

THESE PEOPLE ARE SHARKS. Fake reviews are rampant. Customer manager yells at customers who have valid complaints, take the time to read some of the one star reviews and you'll see the exact same issues.

On top of showing up much later than organized, many of my items showed up damaged or missing (despite being marked 'fragile").

Their online email is fake, and I haven't heard anything back from them regarding my complaints.

Move size: 1 Bedroom Home Service cost: $2140

Main Moving showed up on 3/14/19 to pick up our things. The driver came in a 26ft box truck. He informed us that he was going to have to load that truck and then offload onto a bigger truck and didn't want to do that so asked if we would be ok with waiting until the big truck was ready later that day. We said yes. No truck ever showed. After countless phone calls I was told on 3/15/19 that someone would call me by 3/17/19 and let me know what was going on. On 3/19/19 I was told that unless we could wait longer we weren't going to have a truck. On 3/21/19 we were told that we would have a truck the following day and they finally took down a verbal inventory. The morning of 3/22/19 I received a call saying that they were not going to have a truck for us and that they would be refunding our deposit of $1750.00. On 3/24/19 I received a call informing me that they were not refunding my deposit since their driver had informed them that we had refused to let him load our things. Since the 24th I have called probably 4-5 times a day and have not been able to get a hold of anyone. We did not refuse to let the driver load. In fact we told him to load the 1200cf that we were allowed and whatever was left we would leave behind. He told us he didn't want to load and then unload/load again and we agreed to wait for the other truck. I never thought it would be an issue and while he was there I tried several times to get a hold of someone at Main Moving but never did so when he said he talked to them we believed him. I just want my $1750 back and for this nightmare to be over.

Terrible service!! Main Moving LLC will promise you the world, take your deposit and then disappear! We paid our deposit and were promised 3 professional movers on the morning of 3/1/19. We must have called this company 50 times to find out where our movers were and we were constantly either lied to or hung up on. Nobody showed up until 7pm on 3/2/19!! When the movers finally showed up a day late, there were only 2 of them and they were rude and clearly had no moving experience at all. They demanded to be payed the full price up-front and then threw our boxes in the snow when I refused. We are now taking legal action to recoup our deposit. AVOID MAIN MOVING LLC AT ALL COST.

I moved to New Mexico 2 years ago and my children and I's things were in storage all that time. Being a single mom it took some time to come up with the money to finally have our things moved from Florida to New Mexico. I put the deposit and 2 days before the move someone supposedly ACCIDENTLY cancelled the move we got everything straightened out. Was told we would get a call 24 hours before pick up and then movers would call at least 3 hours before they were going to get there. We didn't find out they were on their way until 50 mins before they showed up. This was 3/4/19. I was told by SIMON the supposed booking manager that my things were going to be delivered sometime between 3/8 - 3/10 I took these days off to make sure I was home for them. I tried calling the office to get a confirmation date for almost a week simon wouldn't take my calls wouldn't return phone calls the sales people were very rude all they cared about was suckering more people into going with their company they don't give two craps about the people they have contracts with and have already paid for half their move. And pierre the salesman who I was speaking with and helped me get signed up said AND I QUOTE.. I will be here for you through the entire move.. BS once they got the deposit and the money when they picked up NO ONE WAS THERE FOR US PERIOD. The only one who seemed to help with the pick up driver who was helping me actually communicate with people. Once Simon finally contacted he said everything would be delivered on 3/16 well here it is delivery date. NO PHONE CALLS FROM ANYONE. I have tried calling and no one picks up the phone will be filing suit to get money back. This company is a bunch of liars.

Had to file fraud with my bank since no one from the company would call me back the supposed day of the move. After 1 PM on Saturday 3/16 all calls just rang and rang, no option to give voicemail. I suddenly get a call today 3/25 (MORE THAN ONE WEEK AFTER MOVE WAS SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN) from someone asking what happened. What a scam company. They only "care" to save their skin if you complain. We booked this company about a month before our move date with a sales rep named Barry, who seemed nice and trustworthy. He was very responsive before I made a deposit (a third of the $3600 estimate), but after the deposit, he didn’t answer a single text or phone call.
4 days before our move, I called customer service and talked to a nice person when I told them that they can come anytime before our scheduled pickup time, or during the time. She verified that they are most likely to come on time.
They night before my Sunday morning (8-10am) pickup time, an unknown number texted me to say he’ll come at 11am on Monday. I immediately said that doesn’t work because another person is moving into my place on Monday morning. At midnight, he said he’d be there at 11am, which was acceptable.
Starting at 11am on Monday, there was a series of calls with the movers and customer service to rebook, then cancel or no show until later in the afternoon when customer service said she has fired that mover and a new mover would come the next morning 7-10am (one day late). At about 9am I called to check status and they told me that a mover would be coming at 11. Then I received a text from the same mover that “had been fired” the day before saying they’ll be there at 11am. I called customer service and asked how this happened and she said it was the only movers they could get, and they will be fired after our move. I knew it was a disaster, but didn’t see another option as we had already endured major inconveniences and costs for not being out on Sunday. Noon rolls around and they said that this mover had gone silent, and they can’t find another mover so they’re canceling our move and will refund the deposit within 5 days.
They didn’t offer help or an apology. When I mentioned that this has already cost us a lot and finding last minute movers will be more expensive if possible at all, and asked for additional compensation or help, she immediately got off the call.
There we were with all of our stuff packed, 2 days after our lease had ended, and back to square one trying to find a mover to come ASAP.
I understand that the mover was the main problem, but the company did not try nearly hard enough to salvage the situation, or care about the customer at any point after they got my deposit.

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $3650

I had no clue where to pick a mover from and I stumbled onto this site. I called three companies one of them being main Moving, the guy I spoke with on the phone Barry was very professional and polite. I really liked the fact these guys owned their own trucks and did the whole move from start to finish. I got a quote and my only concern is that the price was going to be the same on delivery. Main took an inventory of my belonging around my house and gave me a fully binding quote off of cubic foot space, this did make a lot more sense then going by someone just guessing weight. The days of the move my price stood firm to the quote they gave me. Thanks so much for sending real movers and having them pack all my furniture for me.

What a really cool and productive company to work with. The mover guys did a really good job on the pick up and delivery of the household items. I was very happy with all the wrapping and packing service that was included and I also paid extra to have them create the televisions for me. It was definitely worth the extra money saying that my 3-D TVs were very expensive and only a few months old. The bed stand firm and the quality of work was exactly as explained. Thanks a lot mean moving for all the help with the move. His guys did a really good job on the pick up and delivery of the household items. Read the contract closely. It says this is only an estimate. By signing you agree to everything they do. They do not do the moving. They call around and find a moving company for you. After spending a goodly amount of time over the phone listing items to move they prepare an email contract and ask for a credit card payment of one third down. You may think this is a good deal but in our case, when the moving company showed up four days late, they said that the price on our written contract with Main Moving LLC does not mean anything. A new contract has to be written. The new contract price is almost double. The mover said he would knock off the deposit that was given to Main Moving. So instead of paying 3200.00 dollars according to the Main Moving contract, it cost us a total of almost 6000.00 Dollars. Keep in mind that the contract calls it an estimate. They can change the cost to anything they want. We are sorry that we did not hire local movers who did a walk thru and gave us a price of 4200.00 dollars. We mistakenly thought that Main Moving LLC could save us a few dollars. When we contacted our credit card company for dispute, Main Moving send them copies of the new contract along with a letter partially stating "customer agreeing and accepting the terms and conditions of the moving estimate for service. The customer is attempting to commit FRAUD.

These guys did a great job on my recent move. This was a move for my daughter getting her out to her new place in Arizona for school! The help of having a company come in her apartment and doing all of the packing and wrapping off all the furniture was such a help getting her to graduate school! My representative Anthony was very kind and patient with me.. for the fact that my daughter changed her inventory multiple times.. I really wanted a real mover and not to get stuck with a broker.. They have their own trucks and that’s what really caught my attention, that they where the real deal!! Thanks so much for getting her out there Main Movers to Arizona!!

I want to start by saying thank you so much to Main Moving for helping me out with my recent move this is the first time I ever moved and it was very stressful I received about eight different quotes a lot of them come to find out after speaking with mean moving and looking at the DOT’s page these companies were brokers. The last thing I wanted to do was have a horror story of a move that you hear about all the time. Reggie really helped me and assist me with my move and explaining on how good the service was going to be an exactly what was going to happen from start to finish. The guys on the day of the move wrapped all the furniture and disassembled everything I have a lot of furniture that needed disassembly so this made it a lot easier on me and my family. These guys really helped me so much thank you so much mean moving.

Thank you so much for helping me with my recent move I was setting up this move to get my daughter out to her new dormitory for school it was a small move and I was receiving ridiculously high price is because of minimums. Main Moving had a very good price for a minimum and actually had a truck going out that way for that they had a hub in our area. I really like the fact that they own the trucks and they knew the guys and their credibility of who is going to be helping my daughter with the move. I spoke with Reggie and he was very kind and polite coordinating with my daughter as well as myself for her delivery. The customer service was great and the drivers did a good job with loading and unloading the furniture for her and carrying all the furniture up three flights of stairs in her dorm because they don’t have an elevator there.

This has been the worst experience we have ever had and we have had to move several times with work. They picked up our furniture on Monday, we paid extra to have a straight delivery from SC to Oklahoma and was told our furniture was the only one that would be on the truck.and was guaranteed to have it by that Friday, which was yesterday. We haven’t seen our furniture since Monday and this is Saturday. We have been lied too, hung up on, everything but told where our furniture is. We are now filing police report with local police and involving FBI or anyone we need too to get our stuff back! Beware of this company. We don’t think it is a legitimate company but we will know for sure in a couple of days and the names of everyone involved.
We will do everything we need to do to get to the bottom and truth of these people so we can find our furniture and also to make sure no one else will have to get scammed or go thru this!

Thank God for me and moving I need it all last minute moving company to help me out after recently having a bad divorce. I was only moving out some of the belongings and it didn’t make sense some companies are giving me extremely high codes and some companies are giving me extremely well quotes. I just wanted to make sure that my price was going to be my price especially with having to budget with already be giving my wife a lot of money from this divorce. My biggest concern was moving my motorcycle and if I should’ve moved it privately by itself. Anthony is shored me that these guys were professional movers and do this all the time and will be able to help me move my motorcycle and it did save me a lot of money doing this way keeping up with the move. It is a pleasure knowing there are good moving companies out there willing to help customer with their moves and not just in it for the capitol. I recently book these guys to move me from Tampa to Ft Lauderdale, FL and it was the best decision. Main Moving s price was not the cheapest but it was the most upfront as far as being a detailed quote and not just some random "BINDING" quote. I fell in one of those traps moving down from WI top Tampa years ago.. The movers were very nice and professional.. the wrapping of the furniture was very good as well as a prompt delivery as explained.

My first time moving especially with a budget needed to go really well. I thought when I signed up on line for quotes I would just get a firm prices come to find out I had to tell companies what exactly was going on the trip. Then even after that, these guys as well as another company kept me away from going with a company that had a cheap of course “too good to be true price”. After seeing the reviews I knew I needed a real mover and not a broker. I picked Main Moving because they showed me their profile with the Department Of Transpiration. Which was a relief. The move went smooth and I was please, cool stuff with Main Moving.

Movers picked up my dad’s items from Ohio Saturday and told him it would be delivered to Georgia on Monday. Anthony texted me “the schedule is to be there by 1, they will call you when they are about an hour away”. This was at 9:15am Monday May 27th. I received no phone call. Monday the items did now show up. He said he was trying to figure out if it would be tomorrow, Tuesday, and he would call me and update me. No updates. It is now Thursday May 30th and I just got off the phone with the customer service agent, Tracy. She stated “In your contract we have 30 days to deliver. It blows my mind you people don’t read the contract”. This was never relayed to me and it is my fault for not reading the 15 pages of fine print. I encourage anyone using this company to read the contract before you book with them. I also was not aware that you have to pay cash or money order upon pickup and receipt of your items. Once again Tracy stated “this is in your contract”. Beware! I still have no idea when my items are coming nor has anyone called me. The only update I have received today was from Tracy who stated “you are the one calling us every day. We said we would call you when we have a delivery update”. This whole thing is very mind blowing. It's been over a week and no one has told me anything about where my things are or when (if) I'm getting them!

I was told that (Moving) no matter who I went with would be stressful but pretty much every company I spoke with one thing that a lot of the companies told me was to make sure that I did not go to Broker. So what I did was look online and see who had trucks I was told this by Michael as well as a gentleman or another moving company they gave me a site to search because it honestly is a little hard researching companies seem good and bad on everyone. So I wanted to make sure that the guys I went with her trucks the went very smooth just as explained. And I was very happy with the service they provided. I opted for additional insurance with the move and did not wind up even needing it.

The day the move everything went very smooth after looking up on this site I signed up to get free quotes and let me tell you I received tons of calls I don’t know if I recommend going that route because the problem is you don’t know who to at least one thing that’s good is there is this site to back was looking up the reputation of the companies. I spoke with James over here any wind up giving me a higher quote with more space this way was the worst case scenario I’ll price it was nice to have a day to move my price went down $350. Which panda because I didn’t need additional packing material because I forgot to tell them I want in my China cabinets professionally packed. The guys were professional and very courteous and did a good job of loading the truck and everything in a Safeway.
