Main Moving LLC

Movers picked up my dad’s items from Ohio Saturday and told him it would be delivered to Georgia on Monday. Anthony texted me “the schedule is to be there by 1, they will call you when they are about an hour away”. This was at 9:15am Monday May 27th. I received no phone call. Monday the items did now show up. He said he was trying to figure out if it would be tomorrow, Tuesday, and he would call me and update me. No updates. It is now Thursday May 30th and I just got off the phone with the customer service agent, Tracy. She stated “In your contract we have 30 days to deliver. It blows my mind you people don’t read the contract”. This was never relayed to me and it is my fault for not reading the 15 pages of fine print. I encourage anyone using this company to read the contract before you book with them. I also was not aware that you have to pay cash or money order upon pickup and receipt of your items. Once again Tracy stated “this is in your contract”. Beware! I still have no idea when my items are coming nor has anyone called me. The only update I have received today was from Tracy who stated “you are the one calling us every day. We said we would call you when we have a delivery update”. This whole thing is very mind blowing. It's been over a week and no one has told me anything about where my things are or when (if) I'm getting them!

Move size: Studio Service cost: $5000

I was told that (Moving) no matter who I went with would be stressful but pretty much every company I spoke with one thing that a lot of the companies told me was to make sure that I did not go to Broker. So what I did was look online and see who had trucks I was told this by Michael as well as a gentleman or another moving company they gave me a site to search because it honestly is a little hard researching companies seem good and bad on everyone. So I wanted to make sure that the guys I went with her trucks the went very smooth just as explained. And I was very happy with the service they provided. I opted for additional insurance with the move and did not wind up even needing it.

Thank you so much me and Moving are doing a really good job on my recent move. I have use the moving company once in the past about 10 years ago and I did not have such a pleasant experience the rate went up on my original move and the service was awful. So I’m booking a mover this time I made sure that I researched and saw that the company actually had their own trucks and was not a broker. Please help so much because I was able to get a fast delivery within six days from Tennessee to Miami. Thank you so much me and Moving are doing a really good job on my recent move. The day the move everything went very smooth after looking up on this site I signed up to get free quotes and let me tell you I received tons of calls I don’t know if I recommend going that route because the problem is you don’t know who to at least one thing that’s good is there is this site to back was looking up the reputation of the companies. I spoke with James over here any wind up giving me a higher quote with more space this way was the worst case scenario I’ll price it was nice to have a day to move my price went down $350. Which panda because I didn’t need additional packing material because I forgot to tell them I want in my China cabinets professionally packed. The guys were professional and very courteous and did a good job of loading the truck and everything in a Safeway.

The movie was good Freddy was my relocation wrap for the move what he did was take us through an inventory list and gave us a quote main moving was not the cheapest quote but as he help me realize that it went off of the volume and these guys they called me the highest volume and the price actually wanting to being in the middle which after I did the calculation show that their prices were very competitive. Thanks for the great Main Moving Move!! You guys did your thing with helping me out after a long stressful time trying to find a mover. This was a process from hell. I had non stop calls for weeks finally I got 3 quotes and submitted them to my company, the HR rep for my new job picks these guys because Of their online reputation of the day the move everything went well they had their own trucks and the moving company was very professional. I really appreciate all the help that I received from Anthony at their company he was very sweet and good with my family was getting us an accurate quote. I had them pack up all my fragile items as well for a little bit extra cost.

We initially had an estimate of $2k. Our 'salesman' determined this by doing a verbal inventory over the phone. When the drivers arrived for pickup, they were late. They had a window of 12-3, and missed that by half an hour. We didn't get loaded out until nearly 7pm that night, and then had to turn around and drive 10 hours to our new home.

On top of that, they charged me near double what the estimate was - $3800!! What a bunch of criminals/scammers. Adding to the problem, we had two Russian guys doing the work, and they had limited English skills. One said I had to do all my talking to the other guy.

We had requested delivery on 6/4. They (like another customer was told) said that they had a 30 day window to deliver! They ended up scheduling delivery for 6/5, and missed that window. They slated the delivery again for 6/6 between 2-4pm. They missed that window as well, and dispatch told me they'd be here between 4-6pm. Then the driver texted, and said they'd be here between 6:30-7:30pm.

Their headquarters was very difficult to reach, many times not answering the phone. When I did get through, they were generally unhelpful, copping sort of a 'what do you want me to do' attitude.

Never, never, never use the idiots. They are unprofessional, have non-existent customer service, and are somewhat rude. I feel like an idiot for hiring them. Add to that that they failed to meet ANY of their commitments.

Bottom line - we are extremely dissatisfied with Main Movers LLC, and would strongly recommend against anyone else using them.

When I first found out that I was going to have to move for my new job and I was going to be the one that was Having to pick the company never using a Google before I was very nervous I signed up online for quotes and started getting calls from a bunch of different companies. I spoke with Chris at me moving after speaking to him he quickly help me realize that there’s a big difference between moving companies and sales companies which are classified as breakers. The nicest thing he did for me was spent over two hours with me going over inventory list of what was going to be taking on the trip even the things I wasn’t sure about it this way I was able to get the worst case scenario price. Chris was great the movers are great and everything went smoothly on the day of delivery as well even set up the new home for me so I don’t have to do any heavy lifting myself I appreciate you guys.

Main Moving LLC is a very corrupt organization, and I strongly recommend future customers remain as far as you can away from this organization. Most customers are unaware of cubic square feet, so most of the time, the salesman is aware of your lack of knowledge. Main Moving LLC salesman will throw lies after lies to convince you to sign the contract, and once you have signed it, they subcontract the move to carriers and most of the time those carriers are unaware of the agreement made between you and Main Moving LLC. The salesman I talked with name is James Miller, he is a very dishonest person, and God will take care of him accordingly. This company will promise you that the phone estimate will accommodate your request, and once the carrier arrives, the estimate will double and additional cost from the carrier. I submitted a dispute with my bank; I plan to email my state representative and seek legal advice. There are no check and balance in this business, and people are getting taken advantage of every day. The carrier was able to get me in contact with a Main Moving representative, he was very disrespectful over the phone with me and said you signed a contract. AGAIN PLEASE DONT USE THIS COMPANY!

I appreciate mean moving and storage for doing a good job with my daughters move out to her school. We weren’t sure if it was going to be worth it for her to bring her belongings a replace them on the other end. The world a lot of things that she already had from her last storm that would work great and we did spend a lot of money out but we didn’t want to have to spend thousands of dollars on a mover. They got her on the shared trip and saved us a bunch of money on her move the guys did a good job wrapping the furniture and packing up all the furniture we really appreciate the great service thank you mean m I appreciate me moving and storage for doing a good job with my daughters move out to her school. Main Moving did a very good job with my recent move! I couldn’t express how happy I was to speak to someone who wasn’t a sales person my guy over at me moving with Steve he was very polite and knowledgeable about the movie industry that’s what made me lean towards this company the fact that he didn’t seem like a salesman wasn’t pushy at all. He went through him and Tori of all the stuff we were taking on the trip I was able to give me a binding price. The day of the move the guys came and did a great job. Thanks for a speedy delivery which did cost more but was worth every dollar!

This was by far the best company I spoke with I spoke with Randy and he was my representative at mainline why didn’t inventory and he had me walk around the house so I could give him a list of all we’re taking on the trip to get a fully all inclusive price to budget correctly. It was nice on the day of the move and also relieving seeing the movers show up in their own truck!, overall the service was great. The movers were polite and professional. It did take 2 more days for delivery due to the fact that they had a flat ok the truck. I honestly couldn’t be happier though other then is one small issue.

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $6785

They are liars, plain and simple. They misled us about costs, schedules, communication, virtually every part of the process. While cost overruns are possible, they charged an additional $800 for 12 more boxes as part of a whole-house move from CT to TN. They also promised numerous times to have everything delivered on a March 31, until they arrived and said that it could be as late as April 8 (which, of course, was the date it arrived). They openly acknowledged that they had promised that delivery date, but said that "Mark", the sales person, had failed to check the schedule. When I complained that this would leave my mother with no furniture or clothes for over a week, they were at first dismissive, then "Barry, the manager" claimed they would "see what they could do", and promised to let me know. I never heard back from them until them, despite numerous efforts, until they called to announce the delivery date, as noted, on the last possible day in the window. When the delivery finally arrived, there were missing boxes, as well as damaged goods. They insisted on a cash payment, as they know that customers might otherwise use their credit cart company's ability to withhold payment as a means of forcing them to fulfill their responsibility. They have not yet responded to the claim filed for the missing and damaged goods, roughly 2 weeks later. All in all, a terrible experience. The only positive I can give them is that the men who actually picked up the furniture at the house were nice, helpful, and hardworking. I am sorry that they are associated with such a miserable company. I would recommend that you use anyone but them.

These people are wonderful until you sign your name on the dotted line and then what they have told you, what they have promised you and what they agreed to are all out the window. They want your money and that is all they are interested in. They didn't call when they said they would, they didn't come when they said they would, they didn't deliver when they said they would and the "binding contract" was pretty much useless because they charged over $400 more and they have your stuff and won't deliver it until you pay it. It was a bad day when we got mixed up with these characters.

This company called the day they were supposed to pick up. Less than an hour before and said they couldn't make it. They set the date themselves! Of course at this time you have no choice but to to use them because it would take a week to get a different company. I had to reschedule things to get them the next day. Your can't get ahold of anyone at the company. Support is a joke. They never answer and try days later when they call back. You get some horrible person who is rude. They charge you 400 in boxes that they didn't tell you about. 250 in tape! Even though everything was taped and in boxes. They asked to use their own. They estimated one amount of cubic feet and said it came to 100 more even though we donated several of the larger items quoted. And didn't have half of the boxes they originally quoted. Avoid like the plague!!

I’d like to think these guys for all their help with my recent move moving is very stressful I didn’t know where to begin. So I went online and signed up for several quotes I got a lot of calls from what seem to be sales people and soon to find out later a lot of them were brokers or not registered with the department of transportation. After getting my quote from Michael I started to realize that all the quotes were based off of the value these guys quoted me off of the highest volume with the best rate. On the day of the move the movers came out and did a good job taking apart everything and loading up the truck I was very happy with the service and after about nine days for delivery. They far exceeded my expectations thanks a lot for the great move.

Stay away from this company!! This has been the most stressful move I have ever had. It started off with no communication with the guy my husband had been talking to AFTER the company got their deposit. It then escalated when they did not show up on the either of the 2 days they were scheduled. We were closing on our house on Friday and we get a call Thursday morning that they would not be to our house until Friday. The truck was not loaded until 45 minutes AFTER the closing started!! We were moving to an area that a semi could not come in and turn around (this was communicated to this company from the very first call and each subsequent communication) so it needed to be a small 26-28 ft truck, which is what they picked us up in. They arrived in the same size truck but told us that our stuff was put on a semi, transported to Minneapolis along with another persons stuff and then moved back onto a smaller truck (which was a lie based on the order of how the stuff was in the truck and the company refused to provide us with a bill of lading). When they arrived, they held our belongings hostage until we paid them another $600.00. Just a side note, we received a text message the day BEFORE our stuff arrived telling us what the balance was. So sometime between Sunday and Monday, they decided they needed to gouge us for an additional $600.00. Also, it’s cash only so you don’t have much recourse!! I wish I could give this company zero stars! Just fair warning, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!

My original mover I had booked with wind up canceling on me due to the fact they said “i was in a hard to service area” I didn’t know that Wisconsin was that hard to get a truck to. I hard originally got a rate and quote from Main Moving as well, originally just did not go with them due to their higher rate and a few poor reviews I saw. This was my last minute choice. I wish I had booked them originally they were great and pick me up in the “hard to service state” the next day. Now I see the other guys where so cheap and they why they couldn’t get a company there also found out that Main was a real mover and gives real prices. The move went swell!!

Thanks for Main moving for coming out and doing a really good job helping me get out to my new dormitory in Florida. Myself or my family has never moved before out of New York I really didn’t know where to start so like anything nowadays we went online and submitted our info to get some quotes. When I was getting quotes a lot of the companies seem very Scelzi and forcing me into trying to just get money. I liked working with Michael I’ve been moving because he was very patient with me and went over the inventory of what I was going to be taking on the trip. He arranged our move and the gentleman came out in the truck to pick up everything and did a really nice job wrapping up all the furniture and delivering me in a timely fashion.

I contracted Main Moving After finding out I was going to be relocated for work and my new position was going to offer me a Relocation package. I needed to made sure I stayed within the budget my company had set for me. I spoke with Freddy and he went over a very detailed quote and seemed very knowledgeable out the moving industry and this was a big reason of why I chose Main Moving.. The driver and movers came out, all their own guys and a Main truck which right away made me feel very safe. The quote stood firm like explained. The movers did a great job.
