Service does not match cost

St wanted the service to match the cost !As of 10/15/21 I’ve sent several emails , several pictures made serval calls no response and no resolution. I spent over $700.00 + to basically move my own things . Renting a truck & getting help from family would’ve been cheaper and more efficient! This company was an hour late due to their truck breaking down .Almost an hour late to the second destination which was 15 min away from the other …We were charred for traffic which we were told by the company “not their fault “ but no accountability for their plenty mistakes. Me and my family had to help unload the truck with everything, maybe a few items wrapped ( we had some already wrapped and broken down ) broken items including a bed frame that they stated “ was loose anyways “ .., Oh and they were only able to load half of the items on the truck which my sisters place was smaller in square footage on the truck & was under the impression everything would be able to fit when given a quote but no communication that it wouldn’t or that they would not make another trip due to the time so we had to hire movers at night to move the baby’s crib due to baby having nowhere to sleep ( also insisted multiple times that was the most important ) .,when unloading the items everything was just thrown on top of each other no belts fastened. Liquid from one of the boxes damaged baby items … employees cursing each other out on the job . I added a few pictures some of what I’ve also sent to the company.

True Professionals. Best in Jacksonville

These guys are nothing but true professionals. What was supposed to be a two day move only took approximately 12 hours, and at no time did I hear any complaints nor did they slow down or show any signs of tiring. They knew exactly what to do and how to get it done, and did so in a timely and highly professional manner. I will choose Jaguar Moving again in the future.

Careless and Slow.

Team was very careless with items resulting in damage to more than half of my large items. The team moved slow, took breaks and changed plans. I called management and, the company was very nonchalant with my concerns. The compensation for the damage was subpar and not sufficient for repairing more than one of my damaged items.

Horrible Experience

Do not hire this moving company. It has been 38 days since my floor was damaged and my nightmare moving experience with Jaguar Moving continues. I have not received any information from the company in a month on how you will fix it. If this is what you call customer service I am very sad for prior customers and future ones.

In times like these, I do not wish anyone misfortune but no paying customer deserves to be treated this way especially when I paid a ridiculous amount of money and received subpar service, not to mention an attitude from a mover that referred to my furniture as stupid and ridiculous in its craftsmanship. Damage to my rental walls, doors, furniture and worst of all stairs to a home I sold. There has been no sense of urgency to fix anything or make this right. It truly is a reflection of the business owners they have no interest in servicing a customer or correcting there mistakes.

Your driver on SR417

One of your trucks sped up as I was merging on the highway and tried purposely running me off the road! And bounced in his seat laughing and honking his horn. This is disgusting. I left my number on your voice mail.

Absolutely Terrible

Moving day was an absolute nightmare. I scheduled the move for 8am and did not receive a call from the movers until 815 only to tell me they’d be another 45 minutes. In the meantime I’d attempted to contact the office twice at the top of the hour to see what the hold up was. Beware, by the end of the day I realized they MIGHT answer maybe every other sixth phone call. Their voicemail is also full, so your call is automatically disconnected. My move was for a one bedroom apartment into a storage unit. I didn’t have many items to move but I’m super careful with my own things and was appalled at the handling of them. The movers reeked of marijuana when they showed up and proceeded to drag all of my items (one man controlling a dolly with three boxes dragging it down the flight of stairs). I could audibly hear that glass in those boxes labeled fragile being slammed around. My king sized mattress was clearly too much for these smaller gentleman and halfway down the stairs they lost control and it slid all the way down dirtying you and ripping a side of a brand new Serta mattress I just forked $1,700 over for. A solid white metallic filing cabinet is completely scratched down the front from their metal dolly and them dragging down the stairs. After I mentioned the mishandling, they slowed a little and one man would grab the dolly from the bottom and walk it down backwards. The damage had already been done at this point. Then THE WORST PART: their truck broke down 26 minutes into the 1hr 13 minute drive. I get a phone call from the mover telling me the truck broke down and I said okay, so what now? He said we’ll call you when we’re on our way. So what is one supposed to think? I called the office right away (and after my third attempt they answered). The man, Johnathan, said this is his first time hearing this let him get an update and call be back. I pulled off to a rest area. Half an hour goes by and I call him back wondering what in the heck is going on. No answer. I call 9 more times in a row, it rings and goes to voicemail. At that point I was sure this was a scam. I’ve never experienced anything like this in all of my 7 moves! FINALLY a random cell number calls and I answer and it’s Johnathan from his personal number. He tells me they ran out of gas…are you kidding??? I let him have it in a professional but concise way. There’s two things I hate being disrespected, and that’s my time, and my money. At this point, they’ve cut into 3 hours of my day. I had an appointment back at the apartment for a carpet cleaning company. The main office requires a receipt for a professional steam cleaning or they charge $250. I missed my 1300 appointment and had to call and let them know. So now I’m out 3 extra hours and $250. To boot, he tells me they’ll be at the unit in about 45 minutes. I ended up mulling around the unit for even longer than that before they finally show up at 1305. I was so heated I just stared in silence while they unloaded (I’d helped move items before but at that point I was over it). When they’re finished they call their office on speaker phone and ask if they can charge me the 2 hour minimum and the travel fee for the hassle. I can hear Johnathan objecting asking when did the job actually start. That was the last straw, I leaned over and said “Johnathan I can hear you, I’m right here”. That’s when he agreed to the price. Total was $365.50 for the worst experience, the most disrespectful customer service, and an incredible headache. If they had been punctual to begin with we would’ve been finishedbefore 11:00am instead of 2:30pm. I really just couldn’t believe it. And they were so nonchalant about the entire unprofessional scenario. What this really cost me is the damaged items (found 4 broken plates and 3 cups even when I’d wrapped them in bubble wrap, a broken lamp, and vase), the wasted time, and the difference in the carpet cleaning of $175 (Stanley Steamer would have done the 150 sq ft carpeted room for $75 at our appointment) that the apartment will charge. I emailed the general manager with the address I was given by Johnathan and have yet to receive a response in 5 hours. This is literally the first time I’ve been compelled to leave a company review ever, usually I let things fly. But this was absolute insanity.

Unexpectedly poor experience

Did an in town move, 5 miles away. Disappointed in service and subsequent responsiveness.

Was moving from a 4700 sq ft home. I asked for and was told I would have a full service move - packing, move, and unpacking.

On packing day only 2 guys showed up. They worked slowly and it was too much for only 2 guys. Later in the day a third person showed up. But after a full day at an hourly rate not even half the house was packed. The next day 4 guys showed up with 2 more for part of the day. Because they were understaffed and they underestimated the work there were a number of problems.

1. Packing was very disorganized. Things were just thrown into random boxes. A bag of garbage was packed into a box and transported to the new house. A couple boxes that were clearly marked ‘garbage’ were loaded into a truck and transported to the new house. I ended up packing the entire pantry and half the kitchen myself because there wasn’t enough time for the crew to do it themselves.

When they packed our wardrobe from the closets the clothes were thrown into a giant box, suits were not hung, but all crumpled at the bottom of a box with other things piled on top.

2. Missing items. Hardware for a peloton bike was lost, as was hardware for a crib and bed. I ultimately found the hardware for the crib and bed back at the original house on the floor. A $400 speaker has also gone “missing.” I’ve been told I will be reimbursed based on the weight, not value of the speaker. I’ve attempted to communicate with the claims department and they have not responded to my emails. I have left a message for the manager to call me back about the speaker specifically and have not received a call back after 3 days. Apparently the contract I signed indicates that I agreed to the reimbursement by weight, which in retrospect I did. But there was no explanation of the options available. It also seems odd that it wasn’t a whole box of things that went missing, but a single portable Sonos speaker.

Also, they disassembled lamps to move, but left parts of the lamps necessary to reassemble them at the old house. I had to go back and search for them there.

3. Incomplete services. The movers finished moving things into the new house at 11:30pm on day #2. They did not assist with unpacking as was initially requested. I had to reassemble a bed myself, and the crib myself. I had to reassemble the peloton bike after purchasing the lost hardware.

Many boxes were unlabeled and so made unpacking even more difficult as we were opening random boxes that were in random rooms.

We wanted certain things to go to a storage unit. Despite clearly indicating/marking what these things were they still moved these to the new house. I subsequently had to move these myself to the storage unit.

When I initially called to discuss these issues, they were responsive and did agree that they underestimated the job and made mistakes. I was offered an approximately $350 refund off the nearly $6000 cost to move 5 miles away and a discount on a future move. I feel that if they were better staffed on the first day, the move would have been more organized, efficient, and less costly. Since the initial call, my requests for information regarding follow up on the claim for the missing speaker have gone unanswered. They were unanswered by Logan in the claims department and my calls have not been returned by Bradley either.

On the second day, one of the managers came by in the morning to check the progress and basically told the team to put their heads and pack as quickly as possible. The workers were nice and kind and doing the best they could, but had even commented that this move was not appropriately planned for and that this was not the first time.

Based on this experience I do not think I will use Jaguar moving again and cannot recommend their services in the future.

Poor Management

I had used Jaguar moving in the past without any issues. Friday 11/18/2022 when they arrived to move one bedroom and a couch my experience was much different. They were to arrive at 10am and had called that they were on the way. After that I received a call that the truck broke down and they were waiting on help. This was not an issue and they kept me updated until their arrival at 10:45am. Once they arrived it was two men for the move, and I was slightly skeptical they could accomplish this due to the next stop being a three-level townhome. They did not have a bag for my mattress that was requested, but I needed to move and obviously was without options at this point to change day of. First load went okay and we were ready to go to the next stop. Not fast, but I prefer my items not be damaged and was not trying to pinch pennies. We left to go to my new location and the crew said they had to stop for gas (on my time), so I headed out to the next location. I arrived and after 45+ minutes got a call that they were at the wrong location and had the incorrect address and zip code. I corrected them and they made there way to me. Upon arrival there were many comments of why was this not three people, they always put me on these jobs etc. I was now a mover and helping anyway I could. The location had freshly painted walls that were not made a priority after I was assured they would be. Then the best part of my experience started when they called Paul Barletta (The GM he was referred to as) who said he would come to assist. To the crews credit I have a king sized Tempur-Pedic with a solid adjustable unit that is very large and heavy. This was stated upon booking. Now I would expect a moving crew to be able to say we can't move this or we need to break this down without formulating a plan on during my move that cannot be executed. Paul arrived around an hour and a half after the call while we waited for him to move two items. Two of the maybe 9 total pieces. It was now closer to 3pm. Paul looked at the bed frame and asked me to sign a liability release for unusual move, this is a standard item I bought at Haverty's. Once I stated no Paul was visibly irritated and said he needed to call his boss which I gathered was Hank to see how to proceed and told me he had more important things to do than be here. After this they said they would try to move the item and he wrapped it for my protection and said he would not move it on his watch any other way. This made it too bulky to move. After some attempts and then moving the item around and facetiming Hank to review they/we decided this would not happen today. As Paul told us all that he was late for another meeting and had worked a 12 hour day and was tired the move was over. We had reached 5:20pm to move a couch, bedroom set, love seat and a few other small items. Locations were 35 - 40 minutes from each other. Paul said he was told to tell me that maybe we can come back and move it another day; I have not heard from them since this. When time came to settle the bill I was told we can knock half off the initial destination fee to start. Then they totaled the time and wanted to bill me from 10:45am - 5:30pm. I said what about the time you were lost, Paul agreed to cut an hour off and said I don't even care, just do it. Then told the crew to say they had a break. $850+ for an incomplete move was not what I expected. I was not opposed to the money and just wanted my items cared for and moved correctly. Add to that the unprofessional demeanor from the supervisor and I will not be using them or referring them again. The crew was nice and placed in a bad position. From what I heard Hank seemed like he wanted to get the job done and cared about his company's reputation. Unfortunately, he has placed someone in a position where it may not be possible to execute. I won't bother trying to get anywhere with them and will hire professionals to complete the job. I would encourage you to look elsewhere as if you run into a problem you cannot rely on any reasonable solutions.

The best.

The most honest movers I ever hired. They did job carefully and in the record time, which means they didn't slack to make your move last 6 hours instead of 2 hours, like some movers do. Furthermore, they did that in lowest price in the industry. Good job guys and Go Jaguars!!
