Couldn’t have been worse.

1. They are brokers, not movers. Your deposit is non-refundable. They only referyou to movers.

2. Movers demand $7,000 more than their quote. No refund.

It’s your fault, not their estimators.

3. They make things up. They Told a story about truck leaving day of loading- gave a 3 day window for delivery. Movers said 15 days. They have no access to movers schedule.

4 Said credit card good for all payments except final one. Movers want certified check or cash at pick up.

They take your money and take no responsibility for creating a mess. Blame you or the US gov’t. No kidding.

Interstate Moving & Relocation Group was absolutely incredible. They moved us out of our single family house in under 8 hours quickly and efficiently. They packed everything up in an organized fashion and went above and beyond to make our move as easy as it could be. They did everything we asked them to with no hesitation and with a great positive and these guys to anyone who is need of moving services.

They are the best!

Firstly I would like to appreciate the crew who helped us in move. They were professional and tremendous with their work. They did everything properly as per our commands. They packed everything in thick boxes to reduce the damage overall. With my experience with them, I can say that they did a great job and they deserve this praise. Highly recommended.

Out of State Move & Terrible Service.

The moving company came later than was promised so it too late for me to cancel and get my deposit back. I was quoted by weight and the moving company charged me cu ft. I was charged almost 50% more for the move. I was told my things would be delivered in 7-10 days, but it has been almost 2 weeks and my things still have not been delivered. Customer Service repeatedly said they would research the mistake and call me back. They never returned any of my phone calls, instead they expired the link they sent to me with the details of the quote.

THIS COMPANY IS NOT ETHICAL!! STAY SAFE AND DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.

This was a smooth, stress free move.

The team called me to confirm the day before the move and they showed up about 10 min early so we had a few min to go over the plan for the day. After that they were non-stop. They packed everything up so fast I couldn't believe it! They were careful moving my valuable items and not a single piece of furniture was nicked or scratched. They let me know what they were doing throughout the day and asked anytime they weren't sure about where something was going. I highly recommend this company and I will use them for any future moves.

Rude Customer Service.

Just received a call from a Senior Moving Consultant who was very rude and didn’t appreciate questions and clarifications. Don’t waste your time. Read other clients reviews. You will find other moving companies that may charge you a bit more, but employs people who loves their job and are patient and professional, and who will appreciate you as a prospective client.

I wish I had listened to the 1 star reviews. I couldn’t fathom such an awful experience.

INTERSTATE IS A BROKER. They are not a moving company. East coast to west coast move they charge a $1200 fee to book logistics. They do not disclose until after you put your initial deposit down.

Their sales team is kind, don’t be fooled. Everything went downhill after I signed a contract.

Movers showed up without a warning upon pick up. 28 days later and still no delivery.

The guys from Interstate Moving were great!

4 movers came this morning and made short work of packing up our apartment. Kevin, team lead took the time to talk me through the whole process and the paperwork thoroughly which I really appreciated. The guys were all nice and courteous, they even got my dog to warm up to them quickly even though she's usually protective, she ended up being a big ham and making them all pet her throughout the day, to which they kindly obliged. All of our furniture was wrapped and packed carefully.

Unprofessional company that lied to me

In summary, I will never ever use a moving company due to my experience with IMRG. They lied just about everything regarding the move.

First they said the move is weight based, and couple of days before the actual move I received a call to review my final list and I found that it is cubic feet based. They got me two movers and both affirmed that it is cubic feet based. Michael, who was with me on the phone during making the estimate, explained in great details about how the weight based move goes, that I will get ticket of truck weight before they come to me and I can even follow them after loading to weighing station to get new weight and my move is the difference....

Second about the estimate itself. Michael again, he was "over estimating" my move for every item to make sure I get no surprises, and he assured me many times that if for anything, my price will go down. So in the end, the estimate was 1600cubic feet. when the first mover case he said 2000cubic feet which I refused top sign on and they left. The second mover Falcon moving came next day estimated my move 2200cubic feet and could go to 2400. I strongly refused and with IMRG help the mover said he will bill me for 2000cubic feet. But when the load was done, he wanted me to sign on 2800 cubic feet (another bad review for this unprofessional unethical company will come later on).

Please note that, I have sold my super oversized formal living set (3-seat sofa, 2-seat loveseat, lounge chaise, chair with ottoman, occasional coffee table, sofa table and two end tables). and that set was part of the estimate. Also during the move due to falcon guy saying he won't load past the 2200 line, I had to drop my patio set (2 seat loveseat, two chairs and table). Also this was part of the original estimate. I had to do that while he was yelling and cursing about taking this job.

Third, After first mover left, IMRG called me to give me additional $500 discount when they come next day and I agreed to that, but when new movers came, they said these $500 came from old movers and they failed to let me know in time.

I also asked the IMRG personnel during the move to let me speak with Michael the original person did the estimate for me but she said she cannot as the person moved to another "victim" I guess.

Interstate Moving & Relocation Group is amazing!

My first call to the office I spoke with an incredibly friendly and helpful woman who helped me schedule an apt for my move with only 5 days’ notice. The movers showed up during the time frame provided and right away were professional and friendly. They moved our things quickly, safely, and gently. The total cost came in lower than what was estimated which was a really nice surprise. I can't recommend them enough!

Thank you for making a hard task a pleasurable one

This is my second time moving with Interstate Moving & Relocation Group, and both times, I have had a flawless experience. Each time, a team of three very nice, personable, and professional men showed up, right on time. They called me when they were in route to the apartment to let me know they were on their way as well. Almost immediately upon arrival, my contract was clearly laid out to me, and the three got started moving right away.

I used Interstate Moving & Relocation Group this week to move and had a great experience. They sent 2 friendly guys who were very quick and were able to navigate the flights of stairs into my new place. I'm sorry for making you guys climb all those flights of stairs!. They were quick to respond to my questions before and during the move and kept me in the loop on their arrival time.

Worth the cost!

Scheduled a move for Saturday at 9am. Movers Chris and Lewis were very good at work. They were both knowledgeable, patient and personable. They took pride in their jobs and wanted to make sure we were happy with the setup of all our furniture Pieces. As first-time movers we were very impressed with the service and will definitely recommend them in the future for any moving needs.

Moving is never fun but the guys made it stress free and fast

Needed to find movers just a few days out and David accommodated my move within 3 days based on my painters. Prices were clear upfront. Lee, Ed and Tony were professional, fast and organized moving my stuff from a storage unit to my house. Prices were fair and was happy to have the option for three guys b/c the work done fast and efficiently. Highly recommended.

They are really awesome

My move was a difficult trip because there was a storm at the exact date of the move. I wanted to suspend the arrangement but the team was bold enough to keep the job moving. They wrapped all the essential items very well and when the storm was reduced, they speedily loaded everything in the van. I did not believe these guys will meet my expectation.

The company send the team of two men came for our house move and they were both excellent to work with, they arrived on time with great attitudes and were professional and friendly throughout our moving experience. Both movers took care of our important pieces and communicated with us throughout the move, enabling us to help expedite the process where we could and giving us plenty of transparency around costs and timing.

Most unethical company

Horrible service !! They are taking advantage of people moving during this pandemic. Most unethical company I have ever seen! They estimated me a price and when movers got there told us the same items would be 4 times the price. The mover told us he was getting some air and never came back. The company did not honor our contract and left me stranded the day of my move. They did not even want to refund me for them canceling on me. On top of that thier customer service team yells at you and hung up the phone on us.

Avoid This Company

We decided to use a moving company because we are moving a grand piano. IMRG gave us a good quote and had all the right answers - 2-6 days to deliver our stuff from WA to CA, everything insured, 24-48 hour notification from their dispatch dept of date and time of move within the move window.

This is what actually happened:

The week of move dispatch didn’t answer our phone calls. This was my experience and a common complaint I saw with other reviews. I wanted the name of the moving company they had contracted to move our belongings so I could talk with them about moving the piano. I left messages and sent emails. I was finally contacted by the company actually moving our stuff, Northwest Relocation, at 5:30 pm to inform me they would be arriving the next morning. We could not physically be ready in time with this last minute notification. And Northwest Relocation could not accommodate us with a later pick up. I don’t understand why IMRG would not give me the moving company’s contact information sooner. This whole situation could have been avoided. As the move date approached we wanted information and assurances everything was on track. Instead, silence.

Bottom line, IMRG is a broker, they don’t actually move your stuff. They are a middleman. The woman I talked to at Nothwest Relocation said they don’t communicate with “the brokers” about the delivery specifics the brokers give the clients. Our actual delivery schedule was 18 days. I would recommend NOT using IMRG.

Horrible, Unprofessional and Scam

Interstate Moving Company is a total scam. They are not reliable at all. I would not recommend this company to any one. As a broker to an actual Moving Company, Interstate Moving quoted my a price but the actual moving company charged me 2x more on the day of the move. Do no fall for their binding contract. The actual moving company(Swift Movers Relocators, NJ) is also not professional. They are supposed to off load my items within 7-10 days but my stuff didn't reach for 2 weeks. The whole moving thing for Interstate Moving is a scam.

Wonderful experience with this company

Lindsay was courteous and helpful on the phone, gave accurate price information up front with NO hidden costs and even called me the day before to confirm. The two movers were professional, courteous, polite and efficient, and did a great job protecting and moving our belongings. I can't say enough good things about the whole experience - I'm not a huge fan of moving, but if I have to do it again I'd call these guys first!!!

Scam artist. Already reported to FMCSA and filed police report

Stay away. This is a scam company. Lures you in with lowball offers, does not offer in person or video inventory and sends you movers who double the price and demand cash upfront. Do not sign anything if this happens to you! Tell the mover to kick rocks and hold the broker liable for thier thievery. They will say they don't owe you a refund but they breach contract by saying you can use certified check when movers demand cash only and according to the contract, my costs were not to exceed based on thier understimation. You will get your money back if you stay persistant!

Please if you do decide to use this company use a credit card so you can fight them later when needed without touching your bank.Thank God my bank reversed transactions. Filed police report yesterday and sending in the lawsuit papers for small claims today. I'm coming For you scammers :)

Paid 3000 deposit for 6300 dollar quote movers raised it to 9500 and then demanded cash only,all due on pick up. What company demands cash and full payment prior to delivery???what a joke! They pay people to write positive reviews all day!

It was a great move with them

Moving sucks, but this company makes it a lot easier! I used them to help my family with a big move from our three-story town home last week, and they are great. They wrapped all furniture items and were good at removing doors and reinstalling. They worked efficiently, asked for clarification and were positive and cheerful when asked to do changes.

They are very professional movers

They arrived early in the morning and were moving out boxes within 5 minutes of showing up. Multiple times the crew was running back and forth to save time. They even helped disassemble bed frames and reassembled them after. On top of super professional services the guys were friendly and easy to talk to. Price was very affordable and I would use this company again.

Good Work!

I used this BEST mover for four separate movements and they were exceptional every time! They are punctual, competent, and extremely polite, with advice helpful, they carry all the needed tools for the job and they are unbelievably successful! When it comes to movers, I've never seen more hard workers. What's more, their prices are very reasonable! For your travel needs, do not hesitate to contact them!!

Great Effort!

It is self-evident that in order to offer excellent service, employees require incentives. Employers who inspire their employees might expect better long-term outcomes. I was blown away by Interstate's moving and loading crew. Despite their massive workload, they were able to do the task in the quickest period feasible.
