Long-distance move from Twinsburg, OH to Shakopee, MN

Great experience.

I have moved a handful of times in my life, but it was always in-state. Having to relocate my family and I out of state for a job, well, it was time to hire some help. I searched around companies for quotes, and was getting ridiculous prices. Finally I found IMRG, and they were a huge help! The movers were very profession, and got my belongings in and out on time. Nothing was broken, and nothing was out of place. And it didn't break the bank! I would seriously recommend these guys to anyone who has got a big move planned.

Long-distance move from Tupelo, MS to Houston, TX

Great move!

I recently had to move from Tupelo, Mississippi to Huston, Texas. I came across IMRG and a few others. IMRG was the best option I had seen and the prices were extremely within my budget. Moving was hassle free as these guys took care of everything. Everyone with IMRG were very friendly and I look forward to working with them again if I ever decide to move.

Fantastic Professional Service.

I had to make an unexpected 2 bedroom move very quickly. I had tried finding companies that would be able to accommodate my needs and at a reasonable price, I could afford. I had gone through several companies to find one that would be able to make this move possible. Finally, I came across IMRG, they actually fully understood what I was looking for and provided excellent customer service. Extremely helpful in all aspects to attitude to the actual move. When my items arrived, I was really impressed by how well everything was in perfect condition, nothing was missing, most importantly on time. I am very thankful I had found IMRG as no other company was as helpful in making the process of moving as easy.

Long-distance move from Duarte, CA to Irving, TX

2 bedroom move.

I wanted to move to Texas due to family issues, and these guys helped me move my items to not just one, but two rooms. They were gentle and respectful to me and my stuff. They were fair and trustworthy enough that I could leave my home to go to work nothing would be missing. The price was completely affordable and I would definitely recommend IMRG to friends and family. Thanks to these people, I can have quality time with my family instead of spending all my time moving the items. They were also fast and efficient. I love IMRG.

Long-distance move from Los Angeles, CA to Phoenix, AZ

Triple Charged the Interstate Estimate. Unpredictable Communication wi.

Interstate Moving Relocation Group, hereby referred to as IMRG, has failed to provide me:

1) A reasonable timeline of when to expect pickup in Los Angeles.
2) A reasonable timeline of when to expect my things in Arizona.
3) Accurate verification of payment method.
4) Accurate estimate of final bill off by 250%
5) Followup with ASM explaining and a weight ticket.
6) Assistance in helping me process my lost and damaged items report.

I have email and phone records of IMRG continually not answering or responding to business inquiries in a timely manner. For example, when contacted, IMRG agreed to contact All State Movers, hereby referred to as ASM, for a weight ticket. I confirmed with ASM that IMRG had not called. To this time I have not received a weight ticket of my items accounting for the charges as requested of my agent.

To facilitate my move, I had to reserve curb space with the City of Los Angeles. I was quoted by IMRG a 4-day window of Thursday, May 31-Sunday June 1. I have phone and email records of my discussion with IMRG customer service from 2-weeks prior to my curb space reservation of June 2. Requesting them to please give me up to the second information on the official move date. Over a 2-week period, IMRG would continually not keep their word of calling me back at the days and times they said they would. Phone calls to IMRG customer service failed to resolve my issue.

Finally, on Wednesday, May 30 I received a phone call from ASM, not IMRG, confirming they would be there on Saturday, June 2.

I have an issue with IMRG in regards to Payment Method.

Upon paying my deposit, I specifically requested verbally on the phone with IMRG customer service that I would need to work with a moving company that accepted credit card. I was assured that was no problem. However, upon moving day, ASM insisted that they could only accept a personal check. This put me in a very difficult position as a consumer. Not only had I not expected this at all, and so I had packed my checkbooks, I also had to call my father and ask for an emergency personal loan to cover the balance.

I called on the Saturday of my move stating the nature of my issue. I left a voicemail. I received no response until I called IMRG directly on Tuesday, 06/05/2018 and asked to speak to him directly. Again I was lied to about why my estimate was off by more than -250% and I was forced to pay the full amount upfront with a personal check. I was told IMRG would call ASM on my behalf to request a weight ticket. This never happened.

I could not deposit my father's loan and consequently the check bounced. I called IMRG to report this. And nobody returned my call. I was forced to work with ASM directly. Again IMRG demonstrating negligence of their stated broker responsibilities.

I called IMRG for a timeline of when I could expect my things in Arizona? Again. Total lack of follow thru and failure to communicate. Finally, less than 24-hours before they arrived at 4pm I receive a phone call from ASM that I can expect my stuff tomorrow between 9am-12pm This created a hardship for me with my new employer requesting unexpected PTO.

Some of my stuff is lost and broken. I am told by IMRG here is the link to the insurance claim. fill it out yourself.

IMRG quoted me a price estimate that was off by 250%. Thats not an estimate. Thats a guess. What I am more concerned with is IMRG total failure to communicate faithfully with the consumer. This created undue hardship for me as a consumer. I wish to avoid future instances of this for anybody else.

Great service from IMRG.

Recently I was forced to move to a smaller house after a bit of financial trouble. IMRG gave me with a very fair quote, as well as showing up on time to move my belongings and not giving me any hassle with my move. Everyone I met was extremely friendly and eager. All my furniture was wrapped and loaded in a timely manner, no scratches or damage. I can’t imagine moving without them. I have no complaints at all, and I will certainly contact them first if I need a reliable moving service. Great service overall. I greatly recommend them.

Long-distance move from Phoenix, AZ to Kansas City, KS

Broker.

I had a very unfortunate experience with IMRG. When I called them to get a quote, they gave me a certain number, then ended up being about 1000$ more when they came to pickup. During my original phone call I emailed them photos of everything I wanted them to pack up and move across states for me. Then they contracted it out to the first company, who showed up 6 hours late. When they finally arrived they said they hadn't been told that they were being asked to pack up the items and they couldn't do it that day and it would be much more expensive. The next day IMRG said it would be $1000 more and I couldn't get my money from my deposit back. So eventually after feeling like there were no options, I decided I would pay it so they contracted my move to a SECOND company who came and packed up my stuff. This second group of movers was very unprofessional and never gave me a delivery date, just "sometime in the next two weeks." Then Christmas eve I get a text that they will be in town in 2 hours. I was not in town for the holiday and had no pre warning they would try to deliver that night, so they had to charge me a re delivery fee. They took my stuff all the way across the country to store it during that time! The lady at move one moving (the second broker company) was beyond rude and so not helpful. I have moved many times and this was by far the worst. Also when they delivered they had broken the edge of my moms piano. Please don't put the stress of using this moving company on your life.

Long-distance move from Lilburn, GA to Dover, DE

Charged for no services rendered.

Charged $1500 for no services rendered, no refund issued, contract cancellation policy is unfair to customer.
Paid $1500 towards move, cancelled within 72 hours in writing. However have to also cancel 30 days before move which is unreasonable as most individuals won't have that kind of advanced notice to cancel. Original booking occurred on 1/25/2019 where my initial contract estimate was $2024.32 total with a reasonable credit card charge of $800. After signing, a few additional minor household items were added to the inventory list whereby a new contract was signed with an overpriced estimate of $4552.65 where my credit card was charged an additional $1500. In both instances, there were no receipts given for any transactions to my credit card as promised. In addition, this company did not confirm a scheduled pick-up time within my requested pick-up timeline of 2/1-2/2. With little customer service help between not receiving credit card transaction receipts and not having a confirmed pick-up time, I cancelled services in writing within 24 hours of signing the second agreement due to finding a more reasonably priced moving company with better customer service (i.e., confirmed date/time of scheduled pickup within 12 hours of booking and documented emailed receipt of credit card transaction immediately after being charged for services) that did not have additional fees such as a $2101.65 binding fee, fuel surcharge $194, etc. that this broker charged. My total budget to move was $3,000 and the other company's estimate was only $2,947 with the additional minor household items added to the inventory list.
This company's 72-hour cancellation policy clause is in direct conflict with the 30 day cancellation policy clause, which this company did not point out to me that I could not cancel without a deposit loss under any circumstances if I placed a job within a 30 day window. In fact, this company's cancellation policy over-emphasizes their 72-hour cancellation policy twice, once at the beginning and again towards the end of the policy. Meanwhile, the 30 day rule is in direct conflict with the 72 hour cancellation clause. Disputed both the $800 and $1500 credit card charges, but only received $800 refund. Company has kept $1500 for no services rendered upon receiving 72 hour cancellation in writing. Company's 30 day clause is in direct conflict with 72 hour cancellation policy.

They scammed me and don't be scammed.

First of all IMRG company is a scam. These guys are just brokers and they don’t own nothing but your money. Let tell you how they scammed me. BTW all the good reviews are fake and I have proof for that as well.

We planned for a move from FL to GA and IMRG called me and asked me a few questions about the move and the items that needs to be moved. They quoted me $2xxx for a 3 bedroom condo. Here are the items that were agreed and I’ll explain how they scammed me later
1. They made me believe that small items in my house can be packed in 15 boxes.
2. They made me believe that all items including big ticket items will fall within 3300 lbs.
3. They said there is no stairs fee as we are in first floor.
4. They said there is no date move fee since I made a reservation 5 days before the move
5. They made me pay $6xx using my credit card initially and also said that I am most likely going to be well within the quoted amount (That’s the funniest part).

I had to postpone the date to 2 days. Now the scam starts

1. They charge me $200 for the change in date and they are saying that “IMRG does not have anything to do with this fee. It’s all the truck company that’s asking for the fee”
2. I get calls from a rude rude rude women about my moving and they said the truck will arrive on Tuesday (I wanted them on Wednesday) since they are around my area. I said I am not prepared. Rude women calls me back saying she was able to talk to the truck company and is scheduled for Wednesday
3. Now Truck shows up. Surprisingly the truck has 50% filled with someone else’s items. I was shocked
4. The driver and another person in the truck says there will be an extra charge of $800 for the additional items in the house. THERE IS NO ADDITIONAL ITEMS.
5. The driver also says that the stuff would weigh more than quoted 3300 lbs and that would cost additional fee
6. The driver also says there will be an additional fee for every 7 steps ($75)
7. I pad half the amount cuz I had kids and we just want to move
8. Now the driver says the truck is full and they can’t accommodate other items in my house. I now had to throw away my king size mattress and other items cuz the truck was already 50% occupied by items from someone else’s move
8. Now the truck shows up in our apartment in Georgia. The truck driver says “Hey you have stairs here.. So we need to charge you more”.
9. I did not even wanted them to assemble my bed and other furnitures. They still broke the handles in my dining chairs which is expensive.
10. Now he charged me a bomb ($3xxx) way above what was quoted earlier.

When I ask IMRG who I signed contract with, They are saying that I need to deal with the truck company and not with these clowns. I insisted I deal with these clowns because I signed up a contract with them and not with the truck company. Now they are in touch with the truck company and first they said

1. “Moving and they advise per the stair charge  it is a legal charge and will not be taken off the contract” —> This is a copy and paste from their email
2. Now after I send them pictures of the stairs they are saying “Can you sen a pick as to where the truck was parked at the pick up location.”
Now their story is “As far as the charge for the stairs as per the carrier he is stating that you also had a long carry. Which means your front door was 75 ft from the truck”

Anyway I am filing a complaint against them in BBB, FTC and also a lawsuit. I have all the paperwork to support this. Scammers should not exist.

Long-distance move from Vacaville, CA to Stafford, VA

Beware and look elseware.

Horrible company, watch out for their cancellation policy. NOT MILITARY friendly. We booked with them in less than 30 days, requested a cancellation and refuse to refund. Rather they want to keep the money and put towards a future move. Cant trust them, their weight estimates are a little questionable too. We just lost over $2000 due to their policy, hope no one else makes the same mistake. 1 star is being generous.

Go with an AMERICAN mom and pop moving company, ill make sure this company does not touch any service members items.
