Can’t recommend this organization more

The movers were incredible, friendly, and helpful. They got everything done in just 3 hours, way less than I had thought. They were very cooperative to my needs and not a single thing was scratched. Every box was handled as if it were labeled fragile and none of them were. They also had very competitive rates, and if you pay with cash you get a discount. If I move again I will absolutely call them!

Preferable movers!

This company have moved me four times in the past ten years. Every single time they have been courteous, professional but at the same time maintain a sense of humor. They made the move much easier. They all get along well and you can see it while they work together. I thought of using another company but they was, once again, available when I needed them. In fact, I trust these guys so much I am going to use their storage facility.

It was surprising how easy they made this whole move for me

The owner is extremely courteous and very flexible in setting up our schedule for the move. The crew showed up on time, packed my stuff, moved all the heavy furniture like it was light weight, filled the truck, drove, and unloaded. 7 hours later I was swimming in a sea of boxes in my new place, and not a single thing was damaged. The crew was polite and ethical.

They were quite courteous and professional about it

They know what they're doing and they care deeply about customer satisfaction. The entire process was painless and easy for me, and I felt like Dan, the move manager, was continually looking out for my interests. It could have been a hell of a lot worse, but not much better. These guys made my move so easy!

They loaded the truck and worked hard to get everything set into the apartment. They were kind and in a good mood the whole day. Illinois Movers was great for my small move in terms of price as well, a lot of other guys wanted to charge me as if I was moving a full apartment or couldn't provide an insurance certificate. Get a deal and get your job done with a good team of guys!

A Crooked Organization

I only wish I could rate them zero stars! I've done lots of moves in my life and this is far and away the worst. Please do yourself a favor and avoid them at all costs. Their salespeople woo you in (Randy Fox) and then abandon you once you have signed their agreements. They assure you that your items will be fully segregated, but then they show up with a truck full of other goods. When we finally received our shipment (almost two months, not two weeks!) most boxes were smashed and broken. When I complained to the delivery driver his comment was that Illinois Movers is a s**t company and everyone complains. He was a third party. service and we found out the next day that he stole part of our shipment. When I called his cell phone and informed him that I was contacting the police he suddenly found our missing box that he claimed was delivered to the wrong address (his home!). A year later we are still trying to settle our claim, as they again refer you to a third party that attempts to make the process as arduous as possible.

AGAIN, DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND AVOID THESE CROOKS!!

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!

This company was VERY attentive - until I signed the contract. From that time on, I NEVER received a callback -- when I was able to leave a voicemail. Several times, there was just no answer and/or "this voice mailbox is full." No one that I had texted, returned texts, except the last man. This was for moving a piano. That was stated up front. There were specific people to call for pickup and for delivery. That was botched every single time! When the piano was picked up, I was contacted (I was 180 miles away) for payment. I WAS TOLD IT WOULD BE $250 EXTRA FOR PACKING/CRATING! THEY KNEW IT WAS A PIANO WHEN I SIGNED THE CONTRACT! THAT IS EXTORTION! But you're kind of over a barrel when you want your item moved! When the piano was delivered, there was no 'call ahead one day,' as promised. No. My daughter, the recipient of the piano, was called 20 MINUTES prior to delivery. I was called at the same time and told I needed to pay. I said "When you are in front of my daughter's house, I'll pay you." When they arrived, I paid. And my daughter told them she was recording the entire thing, which she did. She made sure they delivered it safely and uncrated it. This entire process took a month. It was traumatic. Seriously! How can a reputable company not even answer their phone??? I actually think they blocked my number! Any legitimate company answers the phones!

Any positive reviews of this company must be family and friends!

Outstanding!

I can't recommend this company enough. They spent hours answering all my questions before I even accepted their offer. They were supportive and helpful throughout the move calling us beforehand to confirm arrival time as well as on each day during the move to check whether everything was going fine. They handled everything. I could stop worrying and let them do it. They are so quick and professional. I'm so glad I chose them. It's so worth it! The men were friendly and optimistic. Excellent professional and friendly service!

All Movers were just so brilliant! They were polite when we made contact and answered all my questions patiently. Their rates were very good. They picked up and delivered the furniture items on time with no problems without me having to meet them at the pickup point, and handled delicate items made of glass with a lot of care. They even helped me by asking the person giving the furniture away how to assemble the furniture, thereby saving me an hour+. When they delivered the furniture into my apartment, they were really kind and helpful especially with the heavier items. As a young single woman, the kindness and respect were just so nice and refreshing. I really valued that. I 100% recommend them to anyone who wants items moved.

Great service!

Movers were amazing. When the team arrived, they assessed the room and got straight to work, wrapping items, taping items, and moving everything carefully. They even disassembled the bed and reassembled it for us! Once they got to the new apartment, they asked where each item should be placed and they were incredibly careful not to damage the new flooring. Overall, incredibly satisfied and will be using them again for future moves and will come highly recommended to friends and family.

I would certainly choose them again!

I was more than pleased with the services of this company. I chose them because of the thoroughness with me in all aspects of the move and pricing. The communicator spent a significant amount of time with me on the phone which I found reassuring, but never pressured me to place a deposit. I received a confirmation email the week prior to the move and a phone call one day prior. The actual move was just as satisfying. They did a wonderful and efficient job with moving me out and in. They were very pleasant. Nothing was broken. My belongings arrived at the earliest estimated day of arrival.

Setting up the move was easy and communication was great. Showed up on time, with a big secure and reliable truck. Blankets and wrapping plastic for the furniture. Highly recommend. I'll be using them whenever I move again which hopefully won't be for a while!
