I’ve used this company twice to move and each time they were professional, fast, friendly, and went above and beyond! Miracle workers!!!

Miracle workers!!! They were impressive in their speed, efficiency, and care for our belongings. We were able to schedule them last minute and they were able to make it work for us. It would have taken us 4-5 hours, but they had it done in 45 minutes. I didn't even mind the 2 hour minimum because this was money well spent!

My moving nightmare.

I don't often write reviews, but this experience was my worst fear about hiring a moving company. This is one of the most dishonest companies I have ever encountered and I have never felt more taken advantage of.

We engaged them for a short notice move after conversations with "Ron" regarding inventory. We advised them that their estimate for boxes, weight and space were low, and they adjusted their estimate up accordingly. They were still lower than our next quote by about $1,000, and Ron assured us he would "be with us every step of the way to ensure a great experience".

When the movers arrived we discovered that many of the changes to the inventory we discussed were never reflected in the inventory they showed up with. They advised the quote was wrong, and a new cost that was more than double the prior estimate was presented. Because we were in a vulnerable position and working on a short timeline, we met them in the middle and agreed to pay $3k more for a "flat rate" move which included a guaranteed delivery date. When we signed the adjusted contract we noted and initialed this amendment on the delivery form, and the foreman crossed out the additional potential charges listed on multiple forms, noting that these would not apply due to the negotiated flat rate. We discovered later that this was not reflected the same way on the main contract despite being discussed verbally for hours and reflected on multiple supporting documents signed by us.

On our scheduled delivery date we were demanded for an additional $2k for a "shuttle" (which was listed on their itemized form as a potential cost of $750, but was explicitly crossed out by their foreman as not applicable under the flat rate). They required this last payment in cash or postal money order so it can not be disputed or traced. We ultimately agreed to the demand as it seemed we had no choice in order to get our belongings back. They never showed up to deliver, however, and we were left wondering if our belongings would ever be returned to us, or, if they would arrive damaged (many did).

In addition to demanding additional funds and threatening to sue us at multiple points, they also appear to have replaced the form of contract that was sent with their quote (which we reviewed in detail) with new forms for the "adjusted quote" on-site. Similar to other reviews I have seen, they rushed us through the signing process once we came to an agreement. At every point we reached out to them we were pointed in a different direction - from "Ron" to "Kim" to the Foreman to the driver who has refused to give his name and hung up on us. With every inquiry each of them said they were not responsible and could not give us an update or make decisions. They each pointed the finger at one another as the accountable party or the one who could give us information and/ or solve our concern. The driver at one point called and told us he would be here in 20 minutes to deliver, then 20 minutes later called to tell us he was downstairs (our house doesn't have a downstairs entrance). He then said "oops this was for a different customer" and laughed at me as he told me he wouldn't be delivering our goods as agreed at all.

I am a professional who should have known better than to engage after the first adjustment to the quote, but I set my apprehension aside because I was in a difficult position and on a tight timeline-- shame on me. We made mistakes throughout this process, but this company took advantage of us at every turn. They are now threatening to sue me for posting truthful reviews- calling me a liar and saying they never committed to the delivery date or the fixed rate.

Consumers must have access to this info, and I refuse to be threatened into silence. This has cost us greatly, both in monetary and emotional terms, and I hope that my review will prevent others from being taken advantage of the way we have been.

Loved the service

Hey I usually not write review but this time I must do this! Cause of my job I move a lot and all the time and its not easy !!

This time I was surprised how easy and fun it was !!

I got a service from a guy by name Aron and he was amazing!

Helped me with raping and even that I was so massy he gave me the time and helped with everything!!

Excellent Job!

They showed up on time, with no hidden fees, and the rate I was quoted via e-mail .They loaded/unloaded the truck with ease and efficiency and never once did I have a panic that my belongings were going to be damaged. In the end, we were more than happy to pay what our bill was because firstly it was reasonable, secondly, they did their job well and thirdly, it was hassle free.

Total scam company

My items are still in Illinois after being picked up may 17th 2021. Long distance move consisting of 1041 miles to Jacksonville Florida. It is now June 9th and I am being told to buy things at goodwill and “learn patience “ I was told by the company 5-14 days. They are very rude- condescending and no answers given as to when I will get my entire life in their possession back. Watch out for these scammers - they are also know as msn logistics. One google search will show that this is a scam company!

The Worst Moving Company! Not Recommended At ALL!

It was the worst experience I underwent with a moving company. We unfortunately chose Illinois Movers Inc. to move from Wisconsin to California. They are so unprofessional and immoral. When I filled out the inventory list to get a quote from them, I entered everything but since it was two months before moving my estimation on the number of boxes wasn’t accurate. When they came in to load our stuff, the guy charged us $5000 instead of original quote which was $3000. It means that the amount of my stuff should have been 1.7 times more than what I had entered in the inventory list although I had only a few more boxes and 3 more luggage than original estimate. We gave them a date that we are available for delivery of our stuff. We received our stuff 31 days after that day. During these 31 days I called their office twice a week and their people are so rude and just told me there is a section in your contract that we have 30 days from the day you are available to deliver your stuff. When finally we received our belongings, we realized that our TV and my desk chair are missing. When we called them, they said it is normal to miss some stuff and you should be happy that you haven’t lost more. Also, they said we are going to pay $0.6 per pound, so for a $1000 TV, they are going to pay around $20. Choose this company if you want to lose your money and belongings! They are the worst!

Second time I've used this company

Each time, movers were timely, respectful, efficient, and very careful to protect valuable items. They don’t charge for shrink-wrap, no surprises, you only pay what you got quoted, unless the move takes longer or shorter than anticipated. People on the phone were very responsive and helpful each time I called. Excellent experience all around and will use again.

The worst service I’ve ever came across

I was never told it takes up to 22 days to receive my things. I was asked when do you need your things by i said the 15th of August and they said no problem. I can’t get a location on my things no one answers the phone NEVER. This. Company is unprofessional they lie about everything that has to do with their business. I was told by several dispatcher after leaving really angry voicemails that i would have my things by August 20th-22nd on the 22nd i called and got a call back say 23 or the 24th i will have my things today is the 25th and i haven’t received a phone call to give me the whereabouts of my things and when will

It get to me. I called all the numbers they’ve given me no one never answers them. I will put this in writing here if i receive any of my things and they are damage in any way i will file a claim sue them and get all my money back because they are ripping people off left and right. Just because they write up this very unprofessional paper that say up to 22days after telling us they’ll have it there by your expected date. PLEASE KEEP YOUR MONEY AND RESEARCH OTHER MOVING COMPANY THEY ARE NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY.

Awesome!

On time, Professional, Friendly, energetic and finished the job sooner than I expected! This was not a regular move, from a 2 story home (3500 sq ft) with a full basement and dropping off items at 2 different locations. Susie..Logan and Chuck delivered the home furniture to a third floor apt via stairs and from the basement to a storage facility in just over 7 hours. I would recommend this company if you need a moving company this is the company to go with.

Their price was unbeatable!

They came with two guys and moved four bedroom sets in less than three hours. They are super careful with your furniture and wrapped the mattresses in plastic so they stayed clean too, There were no scratches on any of the furniture when they were done and they assembled everything so quickly. I recommend using this company for your next move! I will be calling them again when I move out my apartment this year.

Don't hire this company. Their customer service is useless. Sales talks a good talk, they hire nice movers, but service is delayed and you have add on costs above your quote, and since you have given a hefty deposit you are at their mercy. She was charger over $1000 more than the quote.

They don't return calls, especially timely. Delivery was a week later than expected. Many items were broken such as dishes and ceramics and you could see the rough handling on the condition of the cartons. The movers apparently don't know the meaning of the word Fragile when written on 5 sides of the cartons. The subcontractor delivery person was nice and helpful. Because our things were in storage and received multiple handlings, one can't tell who did the damage. For example, a George Foreman grille is a sturdy item with bubbles under it in the carton. It was complety destroyed

They were quiet helpful throughout

I have lately been a person with some really bad experiences in moving. This time I was all set to help myself with all the loading but reached this mover's company through Internet and the great reviews made me change my mind. The loader arrived on time. The luggage was loaded carefully and so the dislodging was done with no damage. Really happy with the service and they are my first choice for any shifting.
