Don't book through them

Literally the worst move I could have ever imagined. I wish I could leave zero stars.

Communication is horrible, we had multiple trucks "break down" preparing for our move and we had to be rescheduled TWICE. They completely lost one of my boxes with some of my wedding items in it that was marked "IMPORTANT".

They don't answer phone calls and don't answer emails. Terrible terrible experience. I would rather hire a group of chimpanzees to move my stuff next time.

Also was connected to this mover via Allegiance Moving. Also a terrible terrible company.

DO NOT HIRE!!

Workers did not speak English very well. They were slow and made a mess. They did not pick up a lot of their trash. They left many of our items behind and would not come and pick them up without charging an extra fee on top of the huge amount they are trying to get us to pay. The driver lied to dispatch saying we told him to leave our items which was not true. Our original contract through Eagle stated the price of our move at 3531.01. However, this company claimed we had more items and were charging us by the cubic feet (and not weight) which they are now trying to bill us for almost 11,000.00 now!! They also showed up with the wrong-size truck and tried to claim that items were left behind because there was no room. They can't even get their lies straight. Customer service only makes excuses for the drivers and blames the clients. These people are scammers and I urge you to stay clear of them. (The driver did not want to leave the driveway unless we handed him 5,000.00. This is extortion and it is illegal). I will be filing a police report, and contacting a lawyer as well as the local news to get my belongings and money back. I am contacting the Consumer Affairs Division to make sure this company is investigated and hopefully shut down.

Household move

Horrible movers. Did not pack glass framed pictures with any packing material at all—all arrived smashed. Left the premises leaving behind 1/3 of the kitchen items and several lamps and art pieces. Several items arrived broken including antiques, even the arm of an antique family heirloom rocking chair was missing and “lost”. The staff was unprofessional and very, very nasty to deal with. Certainly the worst moving experience we have ever encountered or even heard about. Stay away from this company. They are the absolute worst moving company to do business with.

Beware of this company

If I could give less than one star, I would. This company will be super kind to you when you call, seem very helpful, and set you up for your move, collect your deposit. However, they are snakes. They will push you to stay on the phone with them while you go through the electronic contract and sign via docusign. They very much lied to Mr telling me my items would be picked up on July 2 and that they would be at my new home July 6. Movers were there on the 2nd, but they packed up the truck and then re estimated my costs which more than doubled from my quote. I did expect it to go up some, but not like that as I had talked to my contact two days prior and then the day before the pick up and gave him the list of extra items I hadn't originally. You always have more than you estimate. I get to my new home on the 5th and the morning of the 6th call to find out what time the movers would arrive. Only to find out that united choice is a broker and not the actual carrier and that they are not coming and have up to 30 days to show up.i then found out that they could've done a direct ship for $2000. More but I didn't choose that. I didn't because I was told they would be there the 6th. There was a tiny part of the contract I hadn't seen stating this. I know it's mostly my fault for not catching it, but to be lied to about it, wow. United will not take my phone calls or reply to texts. Their carrier, Home and Office Movers, told me that the person who estimated didn't do it properly at all and likely justgave me that amount to hook me.he said he would've known it was off by a lot. In my case, they still used the same truck, so I could've understood and increase in the workers having to put more boxes in than originally told and paying extra, but using the same truck and more than doubling my charge?! I am now contacting the BBB with regard to how United Choice does business. Don't use this company. Also,I had no idea there were mover brokers and I wasn't talking directly to the company moving me.Beware as they are only a middle man there to take more money from you. Always ask if the person you're talking to is the broker or actual carrier. This company is dishonest and scam people

They were, polite, efficient and hard workers. They were very careful moving my dads piano. They prepared all of his goods for the move beautifully. They secured everything in the truck and were ready to go in no time. When they arrived at my apartment they were again very polite and efficient unloading and setting up his bed. I would recommend them to anyone.

They did a great job from start to end

They did a great job from start to end. They took the time to provide a detailed quote with all the information we required. The crew was great, being especially wonderful, maintaining such a positive attitude throughout the move. It was a long day, 8.5 hours in total but they were transparent and honest with not a ton of extra fees and such which is always appreciated. Moving is never going to be anyone's favorite day but they made it as easy as possible.
