Run don’t walk don’t use this company

This company is truly on ethical has no customer service and doesn’t even know the word of integrity they don’t care about your products or anything and they over increased their prices. I don’t care if they’re late or anything. This place needs to be out of business. The real company is Roadway which they partner with this particular company but they all into this together and they are a predatory company that takes a vantage of consumers and when you try to talk to them about anything, they’re so rude and tell you well you won’t get your product and then put it into storage and make you pay an additional fee because you’re telling them about things that they is not doing right and charging consumers additional fees OK like I said run don’t walk . Stay away from this company. I wish someone would’ve told me.

Terrible Customer Service, Terrible Move

I had a terrible experience with this moving company. Their truck broke down on their way to my pickup and my drop off, delaying both by a day. I wasn’t informed about the delay either time- not until I reached out to check on their status. They left their drivers stranded on the side of the road for upwards of 8 hours. They don’t have their own truck, they use Penske rentals - must be their trucks that are on their way to be retired from the fleet. My boxes arrived crushed, so many items were broken, and I’m missing something too. Everything looks like it was thrown onto the truck. When I asked about the fact that the trucks kept breaking down, dispatch told me I should “take it up with the EPA”. Never once did I receive an apology or an ounce of accountability.

I was also charged $1,100 more than my estimate for additional space…when I only moved the contents of a storage unit- no furniture. They have the estimate based on photos of the unit from multiple angles. After I gave my deposit, my sales person, Peter Smith, told me verbatim, “let me know if you need anything, it’s not like I’m going to start ignoring your l calls or anything.” Well, I’ve emailed Peter twice now talking about the issues I experience and I’ve never heard back from him.

I’d say you get what you pay for, but that’s not even the case here. Do yourself a favor, choose a company with a better reputation even if it costs more. It’s absolutely not worth the headache.

Dishonest, overprice and and numerous broken items

Don’t be like me and get fooled by the low initial “A pricing. I ended up having to pay greater than three times more than the initial quote. I had the company partially pack because the move was for my elderly in-laws. Many of the boxes they packed were mostly empty, taking up additional room in the moving truck and increasing our cost tremendously. also, I was charged twice for the deposit. One of the charges was fraudulent and my bank said probably done by someone in City Jump moving and storage. If I was not careful in monitoring my charges I would not have noticed the fraudulent charge. also, Sam, in dispatch, lied to me about the truck size that they used to transport my in-laws belongings, saying that it is too large to fit into the cul-de-sac, and when I refuse to pay that nearly $1000 cost to use a shuttle truck, he threatened to put their belongings in storage. I called him on his bluff because I knew the truck was not a tractor trailer size mover, and that he lied in order to get more money out of us. In addition, they broke a television, a bookshelf, a lamp, and a chair. some of the individuals actually doing the move were nice, but I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. It was a very stressful and expensive experience.
