Exceptional Moving Experience with Helix Movers

From the moment I reached out to Helix Movers, I knew I was in capable hands. Their customer service was top-notch, providing clear and concise information that made the entire moving process seem like a breeze. On moving day, the team arrived punctually, exuding professionalism and efficiency that instantly put my mind at ease.

The movers, equipped with the latest tools and a positive attitude, handled my belongings with the utmost care. They expertly navigated through tight spaces and ensured every item was securely packed and protected. Their attention to detail was evident as they wrapped each piece of furniture meticulously, leaving no room for damage.

What truly set Helix Movers apart was their exceptional communication. They kept me informed every step of the way, from the initial inventory to the final placement of items in my new home. The team’s coordination was flawless, and their hard work was reflected in the seamless transition from one location to another.

The pricing was transparent and competitive, offering great value for such high-quality service. It’s rare to find a moving company that combines affordability…

      Highly Recommend

We had a terrific experience with Helix, among the best we’ve had in 12 interstate moves. Helix’s pricing offered a great value in a highly competitive marketplace. Everyone with whom we dealt, from our sales rep to the dispatcher to the crew, was unfailingly friendly and concerned to give us the best possible service. The move was completed on time and within the initial estimate, with care for packing and handling by a very professional crew. We’d unhesitatingly recommend Helix Transfer & Storage!

      Magical mive

Move over, David Copperfield! Jorge and Elvin made an entire apartment full of stuff disappear like magic -- and it wasn't an illusion, it was real! They are total pros. I was very impressed with their organization and efficiency. They were fast, but careful. All the furniture was wrapped well. I had underestimated the number of boxes and forgot a piece of furniture or two, but Jorge was very clear in explaining how that increased the cubic footage/cost, and the $ difference did not amount to much. FYI this was a move from Pittsburgh to storage in DC. Arranging the move in advance was very smooth as well thanks to Peter. Five stars all the way!

    • The only charge I wasn’t aware of was $159 for blankets and other materials to protect my items during the move

Great price, transparent, and professional - highly recommend!

Great price: Helix was the best price that I found (among 10+ quotes) for my cross-state move.

Transparent: from the first phone call, Helix was transparent. I was made aware that my move may take up to a week (it ultimately took two days) because of the small size of my load. I appreciated this honesty and knew I was dealing with a great company. The only charge I wasn’t aware of was $159 for blankets and other materials to protect my items during the move - no hidden fees!

Professional: Helix customer service was excellent, answering all of my questions (I had many). They even went as far as to amend the contract language to my comfort. The team’s communication was excellent. I was contacted regularly, at the times when I was told I would be contacted. The team even followed up with me after the move was completed to ensure it was to my satisfaction.

The experience with the movers was outstanding. I was contacted by a driver the day before the move with a two-hour window. The day of, I was called again by the driver and told they’d be an hour EARLY. The movers themselves were extremely professional, fast, and hard-working. The drop-off mirrored the pickup, with regular and…

Great job!

I did a move from DC to Chicago last week and Helix was instrumental in making it happen! Both pick up and delivery went very smoothly; they were in and out pretty quickly, but didn't cut corners in terms of taking apart/assembling furniture, bringing down/up boxes, etc. Would recommend!

Removing piano

Peter and his team did a fantastic job! They were punctual, friendly and professional. We had an old upright piano that they were able to take out through a basement stairwell.

The whole process took about 15 minutes without any damage to piano or property. I would highly recommend them for any moving job.
