Great Nation Moving

You know I had same questions what you are having right now, mine was not corporate move..I have to put from my pocket and move cost was more than stuff worth. Moving process was decent I appreciate the staff more than Great Nation as a whole..Greg and pickup up staff and delivery staff.. at 6F temperature they arrange my stuff at home how I would like to arrange that that too in day after tomorrow to that day they picked up..Long story short..I like it..Hello Greg and Mimi..Thank you for your help and convey my appreciation to both pickup and delivery staff too.

Moving across the country is stressful. Great Nation made things so much better. I read horror story after horror story about every moving company on Yelp, BBB, etc. Finally I just went with my gut, which was guiding me to Great Nation. I was afraid of standard things like items breaking or being charged way more than expected, but mostly I was nervous about my things arriving in a timely fashion so I could begin my new job and feel organized. I will say that the total was about double my original estimate, but I think it's probably a good practice to assume this. Whatever they use to estimate cubic feet is just honestly low. For example, I said I had a large dresser and they estimated it at half the cubic feet it actual was when I did the math. So I knew this would be the case.

BUT, the movers were friendly, impressively efficient, and careful. My things were packed with so much care and they arrived only three days later (Chicago to DC) in perfect condition. The cops pulled up to question us as soon as they arrived because I didn't reserve street parking (hard to do when DC requires 5 days' notice and the moving company gives you 1..) but the movers were willing to work with me and the police to find a legal place to unload without having to add an additional long carry charge.

All in all, my things arrived when I needed them and in perfect condition and it was well worth the cost. I highly recommend Great Nation.

The support team at the office was always really responsive. The moving team did a good job and finished on time. Everyone was friendly and courteous. There was nothing lost or damaged and the estimate was accurate. We chose to do all the packing ourselves. My only real complaint was that they did not bring enough crates to pack and were unable to bring more before the move, so I had to scramble to get some more in order to be ready to go. I had given them the linear square feet of books that we have, but they didn't estimate the correct number of crates. They were late by a day dropping off and picking up the empty crates. I did find it challenging to get a firm start time, which was difficult because I had to coordinate building access at both locations. This was an office move in DC.

We recently moved from TX to WV and I spoke to all he major moving companies along with Great Nation. From the first phone call to the final box being unpacked at our new house, my experience was outstanding. Great Nation Moving did a great job coordinating with me and their trucks and drivers arrived as scheduled. I had two different drivers for the loading and unloading, and both were outstanding. They did a great job moving our belongings and took extra care not to damage the house we were moving out of or the 3 story house we moved into. I would highly recommend Great Nation Moving for any of your relocation needs as I won’t be using anyone but them for my future moves.

I moved many times during last 10 years , so I can say I have some experience with movers. :) I used Victory Van Lines (Great Nation Van Lines) Rockville MD, (David S. Y. team) twice and I was very happy with them.
Athough this time we moved just 3 blocks down the street, as any move, it is stressfull. I do not have expensive furniture but I care about what I have and I was pleased with how they handle it.
The confirmed the job a day before and called me on the moving day to ask me if they can come 30 minutes early.(of course !) They are fast, nice and prices are competitive.
Also it did not cost a penny over the estimating price (it was actually less!).  Should I move again, I will definitely contact them and, of course, I recommend them to my friends! .

Last year I moved with Great nation van lines before Christmas vacation. I was soon able to communicate with them. Fortunately they offered me affordable price with 20% discount. Overall customer service was pretty good. I had a great mover and they finished all works within quoted time because it was winter and the weather was not helpful. There was lots of snow around. They moved me across the Maryland. On the road, the car was stuck in snow. Then Jack, Tony and other movers tried a lot to solve the problems of our car. Finally they reached my destination safely. I was really thankful to my moving reviews. It helped me to find out this mover. I will be your regular customer. Truly!
