Great nation van lines is really great!

I had a full-service move from DC to Chicago great nation Van lines was amazing! All of my stuff arrived on time and without any damage. Not only were they able to guarantee a tight delivery window they were able to pick up and set up all of my stuff and match a lower price. Great job! I highly recommend them to anyone who is moving!

Garage Moving Project.

Great Nation Moving moved a lot of items from our Garage to a Storage and they were very professional and took care of our items and they knew exactly how to pack the truck to use every bit of space. Mardo and his crew were excellent.

Satisfactory experience.

Short distance move.

The entire crew worked hard the whole day. It was hot and humid and they never stopped working. They did an excellent job in taking care of all of our furniture. They were friendly and cooperative the entire day. I would definitely hire Great Nation Moving again.

Professional, Courteous, Punctual, and Reliable

We contracted David and his crew for a move from the DC metro area to Toronto, ON. Bottom Line Up Front: They did a fantastic job, saved us a bunch of money, addressed all minor moving related issues (scratched stuff, etc.), worked through a very challenging(and emotionally exhausting) international move during a pandemic with no hitches, and we regret using a different company to move our piano.

We couldn't have been happier with the service. From the outset, Rob went through a detailed inventory of our house on the phone followed by an in-person appraisal just to make certain they got everything right. And I mean they got it JUST right, they knew exactly the size of the truck that would be needed to pack up everything in our house. They were clear about the uncertainties regarding moving our stuff across the border during the pandemic while both borders were closed and let us know what their responsibilities were and what ours were. David saved us a ton of money on renting an Airbnb when we arrived in Canada by insuring same day delivery and offloading of our stuff. This allowed us to move directly into our home at a time when a mandatory quarantine was enforced for all people entering Canada. The movers on both sides of the border were professional and worked in an expedient manner. 3,000 sq. ft. house fully packed (including boxing) and unpacked in a day with near zero issues. David was in constant communication with us on both days, making micro-adjustments as necessary to keep things moving. We have nothing but positive things to say about their job.

We regret choosing a "professional" piano moving company to move our baby grand piano and not trusting Dave et. al. Despite Dave's clear understanding of how to breakdown, crate, and transport a piano (he apparently helped develop some of the material used to certify piano movers), we chose a different company which was a complete disaster on both sides of the border.
