Do Not Trust This Company!

I strongly advise against using Good Move USA for any moving services. If you come across positive reviews for this company, they are likely fabricated. Almost everyone who has worked with them shares the same negative experience. They lie, hold your belongings hostage, and extort money from you.

Our ordeal began with a company called Safe Ship who disclosed they handled everything from start to finish but it turned out to be a third-party broker. Good Move USA was ultimately assigned our contract, and we had no control over anything that happened during the three months they held our belongings in a Denver warehouse. When we finally got our things back, they were in terrible condition: our furniture had been infested by vermin, with rat and mouse droppings all over our belongings. Worse still, several items never made it to our new home, and the ones that did were severely damaged—some even beyond repair.

The same movers who disassembled our furniture were unable to reassemble it upon delivery. Almost everything requiring assembly was either broken or lost, and crucial parts were missing.

To make matters worse, Renee, a representative from Good Move USA, lied to us repeatedly. When we attempted to file a claim for our lost items, our calls went unanswered. Despite their contract promising $30 a day in compensation if they miss the 31-business-day delivery window, they never followed through on any reimbursement.

One of the most troubling aspects was the delivery experience. A woman with long dark hair, who claimed to be in charge, was overseeing the unloading. She promised to send the remaining items after returning to Denver, but we never heard from her again. They didn’t follow up to check if the items were found, let alone ship them. It was all just more lies.

I plan to report them to the Attorney General, as many others have. Good Move USA has been the subject of investigations by news outlets like Denver's Nine News, but somehow, they are still operating. I can't understand how, but I'm hopeful that if enough of us report them to the Attorney General of Colorado, they will be shut down.

This has been one of the most stressful, frustrating, and heartbreaking experiences of our lives. We were forced to sleep on air mattresses for three months while dealing with their dishonesty. It was a time of immense hardship for our family. Their lies and constant deception made us feel helpless, as we feared that complaining too much might lead to them never delivering our belongings at all.

I hope no one else has to go through what we did. Please, do your research before hiring a moving company and avoid Good Move USA at all costs. Their customer service is non-existent, and their excuses for their failures are pathetic. They need to be held accountable for their actions.

My 78 year old mother moved from Sarasota to Georgia this week and I wish she had gone with a reputable company. From the start they asked for an $1100 deposit which was stolen from her. The company suposedly fired the individual but she had to stop payment as the company didn’t refund her. Then [NAME EDIT] showed up to personally inventory and give an estimate. She estimated 2 trucks and quoted $8500. The movers came they were very good [NAME EDIT] and his crew took great care of my moms antiques and helped her through the stress of a long distance move. Thing is they brought 1 truck not 2 and you guessed it they had to rent another. That started the calls to my mom from Engles insisting she would need to pay more... They wanted $800 more even though we have a written estimate and a bill of lading and contract. She has called over 4 times harassing a 78 year old lady....

Avoid these scammers go with a reputable company!
