These guys made the move a breeze. Discussed literally everything over email, all details provided upfront, service was fast and efficient. We had some heavy and fragile furniture, including a carved antique HEAVY chest, that we needed to move into our new condo. They provided the blankets, plastic wrap, and straps to secure our load for the trip to Kelowna. The attention to detail and expertise in packing was really cool to watch. We are all very satisfied with their work and recommend them highly!

They were really nice and courteous gentlemen. I moved from a 3rd floor to a 1st floor, and they worked quickly and efficiently. They amazed me with their shrink wrapping skills and minimal breaks. They complimented my packing skills :) and assisted with the little things still needed to be done. They were a great group of guys and I'd use them as my movers anytime and all the time. The rates were fair for the level of service provided. You guys made my move so easy, peaceful and pleasant experience. I highly recommend this company.

DO NOT HIRE GET MOVERS!!

My husband and I recently hired Get Movers for a move to a city 3 hours away. The move date was originally scheduled for September 30, however, Michael from Get Movers phoned a few weeks before the move to ask if we could reschedule for the 29th. In order to accommodate them, my husband and I each had to take an extra day off work, the tenant that was living in our new place prior to our arrival kindly vacated the place early so we could move in a day ahead of schedule, and we had to pay for an extra night in the new suite. But no problem, we were happy to do what we needed to do to guarantee that our big move went smoothly.

September 29 rolls around and we are fully prepared and ready to go. The majority of our furniture and boxes are easily accessible in the garage, everything is packed and wrapped, and we are anxiously awaiting our 10am start time. By 10:20, the truck had not arrived and we hadn’t heard a peep from Get Movers. The contract did have a 1 hour buffer policy, so we remained patient and calm, and reached out to Michael just asking for an ETA on the truck. He said he would contact the truck and get back to me, but I didn’t hear from him again until I phoned him at 11am, when the 1 hour buffer has passed. Michael casually informed me that he couldn’t get in touch with anyone in the truck and asked if we could reschedule if they didn’t turn up in the next few minutes. He was completely nonchalant about this, as if we had mixed up our plans to grab a coffee together. I reminded Michael that he had already rescheduled on us, and informed him of all the inconveniences we endured to accommodate their schedule, and he didn’t even remember doing this, despite sending me an updated contract with the new moving date and time. My husband and I became more stern with him, and for the next two hours he continued to say he would call us back and never do so. Every time we phoned him the status was the same – he couldn’t reach the truck. How is this possible? Get Movers’ website boasts GPS tracking in all of their trucks, and there should have been 3 movers in the vehicle who each have their own phones. Michael was completely unfazed and unapologetic every time we called him.

By 1pm we had lost all hope that the truck would show up. We called a few other moving companies before accepting that we were going to have to get a U-Haul and do this move ourselves. We spent the next few hours under intense mental and physical stress and didn’t hear a word from Michael after the last time he had promised to call us back. Unfortunately, the size of truck we needed wasn’t available at U-Haul so we had to make the long drive back the next day and rent another truck for our remaining belongings and pick up our other vehicle. Our move was also supposed to include my beloved upright piano, which is why we were going to pay Get Movers for 3 movers instead of the standard 2. My husband and I were unable to move it ourselves so we had to leave it behind. I am devastated about this.

We phoned Get Movers again on our second day of moving and spoke with Danny. We explained the situation and all of the events that had transpired since their company failed us the previous day, and he was no more empathetic or apologetic than Michael was. We asked what they were going to do to make this right, and were told that we cancelled the move so there was nothing they could do. WHAT? We didn’t cancel… YOU DIDN’T SHOW UP! We expressed this and Danny said, ‘let me call my supervisor and phone you back’. Guess who didn’t call us back? Our deposit was returned by etransfer, but no one from the company has reached out to us to apologize or rectify the situation in any way. This whole ordeal caused us a great amount of physical and mental stress, the loss of my cherished instrument, and significantly more time and money than if we had just planned to move via U-Haul in the first place.

So do yourself a favour and hire any other company. Get Movers is completely unreliable and has horrendous customer service. We don’t want this to happen to anybody else.

I HIGHLY recommend Justin and his crew. He responded very quickly after I submitted a request on his website and easily set up a move from my home to my new place, and my storage unit. They worked with me on a time, handled all of my belongings with such care, and never once had anything less than a positive attitude. And they worked through their lunch to STILL be conscious of my time and budget. Again, their positive demeanor never faltered. Their pricing is VERY fair and affordable, and nothing changed from what I was quoted to what I paid. They are kind, friendly, and take 100% pride in their work. They handled my furniture as if it was their own. I will recommend them to anyone I know who needs movers, and will absolutely be using them again in a few months when my new home is ready. Thank you so much Anar and William, your kindness and professionalism was greatly appreciated by my family and me. You guys are one of a kind.

I called 4 other companies and they all quoted HUGE amounts because they knew I had an emergency. I saw the reviews for Get movers as I was on the phone with another company. Called and Dominic said I am going to make sure you are taken care of. I can't even say enough for their customer service so far.

They came at 8a.m. Loaded all house hold goods and was unloaded by 4p.m. Price was very good. Sure would use them again. Very pleased. Thank you so much for rescuing me!

My wife and I have a small furniture business. I called Getmovers and got a great Customer Service person who set everything up within a few minutes for the following day. I got email verification and within an hour.

The following day, right on time the lead team member arrived and walked through everything I needed done. The team of 2 had everything done in the arranged time and exactly as we asked.

I truly am impressed with the service and the concept. I know we will use them again. The cost was minimal and the service outstanding. Thank you!

Highly recommend! I had a last minute move due to shipping a pod across the country and not knowing exactly when it would arrive. When it did arrive, I called around and the first few places I called had no availability. Dominique got back to me after hours and scheduled a move for the next day. They gave me a window of when they would arrive and they arrived right at the beginning of the window. Jason and Alex then proceeded to unload the u-haul and had everything done in 50 minutes! Both of them were incredibly fast and conscious of making sure to unload everything without damage and we're super nice and fun to talk to. Two great guys that I knew right away I would trust with moving everything. I recommend this company with any move you have and will absolutely use them for any future moves.
