Issue: Misrepresentation, Delivery Delay, Unauthorized Charges, Poor Communication

I am filing a complaint regarding deceptive business practices, misrepresentation of delivery timelines, and failure to communicate by both the broker, Full Value Can Line, and the carrier, Gutz Relocation Corp.

When scheduling my move, I spoke with Alexandra from Full Value Can Line. I made it clear that I needed my belongings delivered over the weekend due to work, and she repeatedly assured me that delivery would occur no later than July 25th. This promise was the deciding factor in booking with them. Had I been told the truth about delivery timeframes, I would have never agreed to their services.

On the morning of pickup, drivers from Gutz Relocation Corp performed a walkthrough. One driver took notes on a clipboard, and when I asked whether I had too many items, the English‑speaking driver told me everything was fine. Moments later, they claimed I had “more than expected” and attempted to charge an additional $1,300. I refused the charge, yet the driver began loading the items anyway.

Throughout the process, I received conflicting information from Derrick and Jessica, and communication became unreliable. On July 24th, Alexandra again confirmed that my delivery would arrive by July 25th. As of July 25th, I still have no delivery, no updated timeframe, and neither Full Value Can Line nor Gutz Relocation Corp are practically ignoring my calls now, I called every number I could find, Derrick ph# +1 (941) 203-6197, he answered surprisingly, Jessica no answer, I called number left in text messages from dispatch 904-528-2239 & 833-385-8258, Alexandra 941-263-3890 and gutz relocation corp which is the carrier who is now ignoring me completely 347-503-0438. Both parties have begun avoiding communication.

I was never offered express delivery options, and the company failed to honor the delivery date they used to secure my contract. Their representatives misled me, drivers attempted to add additional charges, and have refused to communicate after pickup.

This situation has caused significant stress, inconvenience, and disruption to my work schedule. I will be reporting to the BBB as well no one should ever have to go through this. I need answers, I feel scammed.

WARNING TO FUTURE CUSTOMERS

My experience with Full Value Vanlines has been extremely concerning.

Before booking the move, a sales representative confirmed in writing that I was approved to pay the entire balance with a credit card. I relied on that representation when agreeing to the move. Their own contract also states that credit cards are accepted (with a surcharge).

However, after my belongings were picked up and already in the company’s possession, I was suddenly told that credit cards were not accepted and that I had to pay using cash or Zelle instead. My belongings were being withheld until I used one of those payment methods.

The driver, and the Manager Derrick, was also extremely rude and unprofessional when discussing the situation and made no effort to resolve the issue or honor what had already been agreed to in writing.

Changing payment terms after a company already has a customer’s household goods puts customers in an extremely difficult position and raises serious concerns about how this company operates.

Because of this situation, I am documenting everything and filing formal complaints with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration and the Ohio Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Section.

I strongly recommend that anyone considering this company be extremely cautious and make sure every payment term is honored before allowing them to take possession of your belongings.

Full Value Van Lines exceeded my expectations. Communication was clear and responsive, even when my plans changed more than once. On moving day, a few unexpected issues came up, but the team stepped in immediately, coordinated with building management, and made sure everything was completed the same day. The movers were professional, organized, and worked quickly. They carefully wrapped and protected my furniture and handled pickups from two separate locations without any difficulty. I am very glad I chose Full Value Van Lines and would absolutely hire them again.

They said they would drop off my girlfriend’s belongings the following day. The following day instead of being in Western Washington, they were in southern Idaho. The day after that, they showed up and demanded a money order and will not accept credit card or checks. This company is the worst. Do yourself a favor and do not allow them to broker your load. They will do nothing to represent you. The final bill is more than double the initial quote from all the hidden fees and extortion. It will be taken to court.

The team was patient, accommodating, and extremely careful. They safely moved my 100-year-old piano down a very steep staircase with remarkable skill. Everything was packed and transported thoughtfully. There were no hidden fees, and all details were explained clearly upfront. An affordable, honest, and highly professional company. I am incredibly grateful.

I worked with Full Value Van Lines on a particularly challenging job involving a heavy fiberglass float tank. From start to finish, the team showed exceptional coordination and expertise. The move required navigating tight stairs and structural adjustments, and they returned multiple times to ensure the job was done correctly and safely. Their experience and dedication were evident throughout the entire process. I am extremely thankful for their professionalism and persistence. For complex or difficult moves, Full Value Van Lines is the team to call.

Absolutely phenomenal service from Full Value Van Lines and worth every penny. This move marked a really special new chapter for my husband and me. We had been planning it for a long time, and while we were excited, the idea of packing and relocating everything felt overwhelming.

From the first conversation, the team made us feel completely at ease. Amber was responsive, organized, and professional throughout the entire process. On moving day, Spikes, Marlon, Brandon, and LaBrandon showed up ready to work. Since this was our first time hiring movers, we did not know what to expect, but they handled everything with confidence and efficiency and told us to relax while they took care of it.

They worked quickly without cutting corners and treated our belongings with care. We even stepped out to grab lunch together, and they still completed the entire move in one day. That level of dedication really stood out.

It was honestly a little sad to see them go because the experience was that smooth. We would absolutely use Full Value Van Lines again and recommend them to anyone planning a move. 10 out of 10 experience.

From the very first call to discuss pricing and details through the final box being placed exactly where we wanted it, Full Value Van Lines delivered an outstanding experience.

Everything was transported safely and returned in the same condition just two days later. Watching your entire home drive away on a truck can be stressful, but their team made the whole process feel secure and organized.

I had to move last minute for work and was put in touch with Full Value. They made the process easy and although they were not the cheapest I felt they were the correct choice due to the rep being so helpful and explaining everything to me.

On the pickup day the crew arrived and went right to work getting everything wrapped and loaded. Everything was taking to the new house and put back together and nothing was damaged. Over all I was very impressed and will be using them again if I ever move

The team was very thorough and made sure I fully understood every detail of the contract, which gave me real peace of mind. Their pricing was very competitive, maybe not the absolute cheapest, but definitely worth it for the level of service. A+ all the way. We got four other quotes for our cross-country move but ultimately chose Full Value Van Lines. Their pricing was competitive, and they gave off a very trustworthy vibe right from the start. Megan really sealed the deal for us—she was prompt, honest, and perfectly clear in every email and call. The on-the-ground teams at both ends of the move were fast, careful, and highly professional. Our driver kept us updated from departure to arrival. They executed this big transition brilliantly.

Great service right from the start! My estimate with Ashley was incredibly accurate. I compared her estimated weight to the actual final weight sheet, and she was dead-on. The Full Value Van Lines crew that loaded our truck was top-notch. They had boxes lined up by size in the driveway, fully prepped for the trailer. They took great care wrapping furniture in blankets and boxing mattresses. When our items arrived, the unloading crew figured out our system perfectly. We had color-coded tape on each box and a large house diagram by the front door, and every single item made it to the right room. I shopped around, but went with Full Value Van Lines because of their stellar reputation in the industry. I was not disappointed.

Absolutely the worst experience. Our contract was for a move from South Carolina to Florida on either July 7 or 8. Needless to say by July 9 at 2pm we had to throw in the towel and hired a new company. They kept pushing and pushing pick up time. Communication by Shelia, Taylor and Kaitlyn was non existent. We had to continuously follow up for any kind of update which ended up in just being lies. The driver told us the pick up time was known by Kaitlyn to be 6pm on the 9th but she had promised me it would be between 9am-12pm, then by 1pm. Now we have lost valuable time for my daughter to get settled before school starts next week. I would move someone myself before I would ever recommend them. Thankfully I was able to get a full refund and rebook with a company that doesn’t broker out their business. I am paying double, but have the peace of mind that her move will be done by professionals.

Hired Full Value to handle moving my stuff to a neighboring state. Great customer service up through paying my deposit. I was assured I'd have one contact with the company if I had any questions or issues. My son was listed as the contact since I'm away. I was called numerous times with updates from dispatch and I'd remind them to contact my son. The original pickup window was for four hours. We get an update for an additional wait up to half an hour, then we get an update for an additional hour and a half (6 hours total now). My contact cannot be reached and I was leaving voice mails to have others respond. The mover shows up, volunteers an upcharge to deliver immediately (they move multiple shipments per truck so there's a few days delay in delivery) and then says we have bulky items that need an upcharge. Our inventory for the quote included the bulky items so my son said no to the upcharges. Driver wouldn't accept payment and drove off. Shawn, one of the owners, offered to make things right with a pickup the next morning with a two hour window. My son receives a text extending the window an additional 4 hours. I called the owner and calls go to a full voice mail. I sent a text advising if the mover is not there within the original two hour window to issue a refund of my deposit. No mover within the two hour window and no response from my text to the owner. I contacted my credit card for a refund. I then receive a text from the owner, that he'll make a call. I responded it was too late and to issue my refund. He agreed but I'll believe it when I see it.

Do not use … Salesman (Nick) flat out lied to win my business and had no ability to deliver as promised

I hired Full Value Van lines to move a small apartment from Cleveland to Boston. The salesman Nicholas (Nick) Hall 833-385-8258 nick@fullvaluevanlines.com during the quotation period indicated that the typical dropoff time is 4-7 days after pickup. I indicated that wasn't going to work and I would have to rent a Uhaul and hire packers on each end. 2 ours later he got back to me and verbally and via text responded "This is your move document ignore the drop-off times frames that's for busy season and I got you on 3 day delivery."

Direct quote ia text an verbally. This was a complete lie and I find out later he no ability to promise this. The delivery finally showed up in 5 weeks vs 3 days. When escalated, the company managers did not care that Nick had made a written promise, therefore I presume they condone this lying to win business.

After over a decade in our previous home, we relocated to be closer to family. I wish I could give them 10 stars! Our experience with Full Value Van Lines was stellar and about as stress-free as a massive move can be. Olivia's clear communication made all the difference. We even had to change our plans about three weeks before moving day (swapping storage for an apartment), and she effortlessly secured a driver for us. The crews at both pickup and delivery were incredibly nice. I highly recommend Full Value Van Lines for your next move. You won't regret it.
